They never have what I need and on the rare occasion that they do, its far more expensive than their competitors
Was helped by Kevin in office supplies (10/15 at 12pm). Even though they didnt have the staples I needed, they told me the size I needed at a different store! Plus he was dealing with another customer that seemed unruly at the same time with extreme grace. Give that man a raise, he has great customer service!!!
My man Kevin in the print shop stepped right to the plate and saved me 20 critical minutes. They should promote that guy before he gets poached, because people like him are few and far between
The young woman at the print center (name started with a B) was incredibly helpful and pleasant with printing 18 different attachments for me. Jessie at the register was also super nice. Good experience.
Came to use the self service print kiosk. Fast and painless. As I was done manager asked what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction.
I think this was the first time ever Ive been to an Office Depot when a Salesman didnt come and assist me I had to hunt him down. I spent a good 20 minutes looking at every single printer when finally I had so many questions I went and found some help.That being said the help I did find was excellent. I got what I wanted at a reasonable price with his assistance.
I was looking for a particular envelope which I did not find. As I was leaving the store, I met Anthony, who asked if he could help. We went back to the envelope section, he checked, checked store inventory, and checked the website. He did everything possible to get me the envelopes I was looking for. That is called exceptional customer service. This was the Gateway Store, Portland, OR
I went and ask to copy 2 IRS form and got charge $2.5 for them they said it the minimum, it outraged charge for 2 copy, but since I was here I go head and paid for it, but next time I will go other for the service
They have some absolutely amazing employees that are helpful and they value the customers time. But Jeff at the print shop is literally Jerry from parks and recs 😂 great guy good intentions but omfg 😂
Had what i needed and check out was quick and the clerk was awesome.
Last I went there at halsy and there was a cashier who denied an exchange of a simple box of folders from my online order I ordered letter size and got a legal size. he was giving me such a bad time, told me he was a manager and had the manager name on his shirt got all angry at me when I said I dont need a refund I need a simply exchange. I told him I need to have another manager help me with this exchange of items. And I had to wait 10 mins for another manager who assisted me professionally and respectfully, Please watch out for who you put with the title. Is not worth losing customers in this economy and the price was the same, same kind of product. We always order with you . If the 2nd person that helped me wouldnt be such a good manager I would have taken my business to staples. I know Costco doesnt carry manila folders any longer.
I walked into a well lit store and there were people in red shirts, visible and helpful. I asked two of them separately for separate directions and they gave me the information I needed. There were 3 cashiers around 3 p.m. and my service was fast and efficient. My cashier was friendly and accommodating. I will go back to Office Depot.
Terrible customer service! Store is virtually empty and staff was too busy conversing amongst themselves to actually help me find what Im looking for.
I like wandering around in here and getting ideas. The sales associates are always helpful, too. Sometimes I just dart in for a quick soda while I continue my shopping around the rest of the plaza. Sometimes I get some single sheets of paper for my crafts. They seem to have everything, just not always at the prices I want.
I am a frequent customer of this store location. I purchase online and visit the store often.1) I placed a order online and requested to pick it up at the store. The pick up Online orders area is placed inside the customer service area. Behind me, two associates were helping customers with their computers. The associate in the customer service desk was on the computer making labels. Another associate came over to help, but only to help those on the customer service counter. I waited over 15 minutes and decided to help myself instead. I went ahead and shopped for the items I place online in the store and cashed out in less than 10 minutes.2) I mentioned my concerns to a sales associate there and she questioned where I was standing. I told her that I was standing underneath the sign that reads Online Orders Pick Up Here. She said, Next time, wait in line at the cash register and have them help you. Very convenient (they usually have one cash register opened).3) I just called the store to seek help with an online order I place. I ordered all my tax forms from here. I wanted to know if the store sold carbon tax forms. She said, Why dont you buy carbon paper? Well, obviously I was calling to figure out if the store had carbon tax forms in the first place. She put me on hold and figured out they have tax forms with four parts are printable. I asked her, Did you find out if your store carbon tax forms? I certainly didnt find the customer representative was excited to help me. She wasnt helpful with what I was looking for. She was very short and dry. This is what brought me here and why I am finally writing a review on this store.
Big, clean, spacious, helpful staff, lots of selection. Did they miss anything? Ive only been once, but Ill definitely go back. Great place for your immediate office/printer/organizational needs. They were friendly and supportive of buying/trying, and returning, if that was the best way to determine the right fit of a product.
Im not going to lie my experience at this Office Depot was definitely not pleasant but its not the workers fault it was one of the customers. She took over an hour to fax about 20 pages and this gentleman named Joe and another gentleman were very pleasant and helpful for this wait time and experience its always frustrating waiting so long to do a simple task but the associates there were more than accommodating.
Love this particular Office Depot. I had great customer service too from the floor to the cashier! Mayra, the cashier, went beyond to help me.
I got what I needed at a reasonable price. Some items I ordered ahead of time for in-store pickup, others I found at the store. Friendly help, no hassle checkout.
I only needed paper, they had paper. no Moleskins but i got good scratches and index.
Bought an item online, but they didnt end u having it in stock like the website said. Didnt get any comp for the trouble. Will not return.
Love the print and copy feature. I can pick up documents from my sister printed on my side of town instead of driving to pick up from the West side and getting stuck in traffic. Saves me time in which can be applied to more time on jobs. Will be using this method again.
Their computer system was down, the first time I visited. It took an extra half hour to complete business there. My next two visits were much faster.
After their crew overhaul the service has become reality good. Nice associates and knowledgeable, if they dont know the answer the find someone who does. Twitter tech department has become better, dont be fooled be best buy, they dont know anymore than anyone else.
Their audio/video cable section is very poor at best. Went to Fred Meyer and found exactly what I needed. Get your act together Office Depot!

Seriously the most IDGAF employees ever. So unhelpful and unhappy. Office depot needs to treat these people better because they look like and act like they all hate their jobs... making my job harder!
It was ok I guess... I Mean nobody even noticed we were there..... Had to seek out staff.... But they were helpful and answered our questions.
The staff seemed to not know where things were in the store when asked. The price came up higher on the register...a price check proved the price was lower. The card readers were not working. Certainly a waste of time. Bad experience. This seems to have become a common experience with this store.
Overall a good experience. They do need to organize the headphone display. Almost didnt find the item I was looking for.

Have worked extensively -- for hours - with almost every person at the copy center. They are incredible people who handle very intricate requests and charge pennies for work that would cost hundreds at Kinkos. I have so much to be thankful for, especially to the copy center staff at the Gateway location of Office Depot (and I have to think about how to express that, maybe a cake or a party??)I will never go anywhere else.best, MZ

Slowest service ever. Have you tried to print out something? Even if only one person in front of you it takes FOREVER! FOREVER! People dont know how to use computers, open files, and other simple things. Everything is super slow in the printing area. And this is not only for that location but across the US in general. Management, DO something!

Great service just wish the staff would stop acting like kids bickering with eachother and get along while they helped me. Bought a desk. It is nice but some of the parts were beat up a little bit. Im quite dissapointed seeing how much i spent on the desk. Its still nice tho. Overall it was a ok expirence once the staff got off their cell phones and actually helped.

I go to the depot in tigard but business brought me here. Guy at print shop making labels and ignoring a building line of annoyed people. The print shops are always slow but news flash...you dont print labels for your product during peak hours and literally ignor customers...service 101 Im first dont sit there and leave the customer hanging...Ill try to avoid this location

I am biased. I dont really have a need for most office stuff, so I rarely go into office stores. I went here to find a chair, but the selection was miserable and expensive. I ended up getting a comfy used office chair from a used office furniture place instead.
They have the ink I was looking for....Good discounts and they allways take coupons...
Went in the other day to buy a scanner. Wanted my receipt emailed. Told him my name is Stephen with a PH. He spelled my name Stevenph! Really?! And then the associate argued with me on the spelling.When into day stood by the shipping area for 5mins. An associate was standing back there saw me never said anything to me. Two others were working near the computers and talking to each other and cleaning and they never said anything to me. I wanted to ship about 20 items at 5 pounds each. My experience at this location was not what Im used to at Office Depot (this store off 102nd and Halsey demonstrated poor customer service whereas Im used to Office Depot as a whole excelling at customer service). Walking in the door I heard the cashier using profanity with the customer checking out as they were both making disrespectful comments about the female security officer standing outside. I asked two other employees for assistance finding a product and one said he didnt know and the other replied with one those ailes over there. I looked and came back to where he was and asked again and he said they might not have it and told me I could look online.

I went in to ask with help on a trip log for work, the young man I asked seemed irritated by my ignorance, and informed me that he could help but it would cost me $1.49 a MINUTE, nice way to kick me right out the door!
I was very disappointed the last time I visited this store. Could not find any help in the section of the store I was shopping, the lines were too long at checkout and the prices seemed extraordinarily high. Dont think Ill be going back there anytime soon.
