Love that the menu rotates, could probably use a little more flavor. I recently got a soup that needed some pepper to add some dimension. I’ve also gotten their frittata and cauliflower salad.

I love going to this cafe! I go at least once a week, since my workplace is only a few blocks away, and I am always recognized and greeted by incredibly friendly staff. The food is delicious, and I am particularly impressed by the soup, which is always fresh and warm. Thanks guys!

Awesome salads, tossed with just the amount of dressing you like, re boxed to go or plated for dine in and ready to enjoy! Great daily entree specials and soups, new menu posted weekly online. Delicious desserts and scones and always excellent quick service! Definitely a gem for lunch downtown.

Smaller cafe with seven tables. The menu changes weekly and it tastes homemade. A decent coffee. Ill be back for more

Friendly service and tasty food that is well crafted and high quality. Yes the food is premade and then gently warmed (for the hot items) but it is fresh and items that reheat well. The quality if very high for the price. Their sandwiches are good and reasonable priced compared to some of their competitors. Great soup too. This is a very small retail outlet for them as they have a bigger business with catering. Service is always cheerful and prompt.

Lovely big corner spot with great service. Good range of snacks, lunch etc. Hot drinks served in jug e.g. chocolate. Tasty pancakes!

Quinoa salad is the best around. Prosciutto & Brie baguette is my go-to. Cookies kick butt as well. Especially nice to look out at all the people with their food cart food trying to eat standing up. 😁 Love this place.

Had the egg sandwich and an almond milk mocha. The egg sandwich was ok, the mocha was good. I wish the egg in the sandwich was more runny. But the beets were good in the sandwich. The wait was a little long.

Everything was dry and hard. Except the turkey sandwich. I got chicken breast entree. Chicken hard, brussel sprouts were undercooked and super hard. Bread for the baguette was hard to bite.

Espresso was from a disposable puck out of a foil pack, not fresh ground beans. Tasted pretty thin and boring: I wouldnt have ordered from/entered the place had I known in advance.Sign on door says no public restroom. Fine, but really it should read no restroom at all, even for paying customers.The food we had was fine, and fairly priced, but the damage was done having paid $7 for two subpar macchiatos.

The location is nice since there isnt a whole lot else in that vicinity. They have really good lunch sandwiches and snacks, but nothing really that special. If Im in the area, Id go, but I probably wouldnt make a special trip.

I came here for the great reviews and the menu looked great. Was super bummed that everything was pre-made and in a display case and all the hot food was heated up in the microwave. It tasted good but of course the biscuit ended up getting hard halfway through me eating it and along with the crust doing the same thing on the frittata.

The girl did not kneew how to pull 2 shots not how too out a dollop of foam til make a macchiato. She made a large cappuccino then argued with me about how to make a macchiato. Ha haha its literally the most simple and elementary drink to make. The owner also did not know what a macchiato was. To bad because it looks nice and course and fair prices.

Ive never come here because Im always pulled in by the food carts right across the street. However after getting a recommendation from my coworker I decided to give this place a shot. The one thing food carts lack: healthy, delicious options. This place is awesome and CHEAP! I got an amazing salad - Red Quinoa and Brown Rice Salad- Healthy Grains, Kale, and Dried Cranberries dressed in our Scallion Vinaigrette vg,df,gf It was delicious, filling, and less than $5! Ill definitely be back to try more.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Cafe Voila since 2011 when we opened our retail business in downtown Portland. Cafe Voila has been around much longer than that; my boyfriend really likes this cafe and he introduced me to it and thats how I knew about this place. We both love great and healthy food and at Cafe Voila; you definitely get both. My routine usually start at Cafe Voila in the morning to pick up breakfast and lunch since I rarely go out to lunch. Breakfast selection is vey good here and my breakfast favorite is their Canadian Bacon Biscuit- House Cured & Smoked REAL Canadian Bacon with Poached Egg and Hollandaise Sauce $4.50. Another favorite for lunch is salad and mine is the Italian Tagliata Beef Salad-Flank Steak Salad of Roasted Mushrooms with Cannellini Beans & Parmesan Dressing $7.75. If you want a great sandwich like me then it has to be their Turkey Breast Sandwich- Roasted Turkey Breast & slices of creamy Brie Cheese with fresh Rosemary Aioli $6.25. Their menu is extensive and they have more selection than what Ive listed here; I encourage all of you to come in and give them a try; promise youll not be disappointed. I truly appreciate their hard work and effort into planning their weekly menu especially because I enjoy eating gourmet food. Go to Cafe Voila and develop your own favorites, I sure did. The ladies that work there are always very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is casual and laid back no pressure. You can stay in the cafe shop and enjoy your meal or you can also take it to go; weve done both in the past. Since I get off work at 6pm every day; I wish theyre open for dinner so we can pick up entrees to take home with us. They do open early in the morning so I cant be too picky (smile).
