I ordered two doors that were Larsen doors from Edelen Doors & Windows. One was a beautiful locking glass storm door on front and the other was a custom made door for the back with an upper screen and a lower doggie door. They are both exactly what I needed and the pricing was super reasonable for custom doors with colors that even matched my house! Plus, when I was having operator error issues with the front door locking mechanism (simple) they even came back out to show me. Quick and amazing service.

I called to ask for prices not knowing anything about windows. The man who answered the phone said there is millions of windows, hundreds of brands!! Of course I know this, but stating since the beginning I know nothing about windows, he keeps asking what am I looking for?? I mention I went to Home Depot and they quoted me for a brand I named, and he said we don’t carry such poor quality!! Thanks for the great service and wide knowledge you left me with!!

Good luck getting these guys to do anything. I went in for a new garage door. Simple replacement. It took three months for them to finally install it. In the end it was what I wanted, good price, and the installation was well done and quick, but there was no communication up to that point.I had to regularly call them and go in person to try and get any information on what was even happening with my door, because they never gave me an update on what was happening or when I should expect the installation. I got a lot of confusion and promises that theyd call me back, which they never did. I never even signed or agreed to a final price. They originally gave me a non final estimate and then in the end they send me an invoice, with no information on how to pay it or by when to pay it. Luckily the invoice was that initial non final estimate, which I was fine with. I called them to ask how to pay, they said they could send me an email. I gave them my email, verified it three times, and never got an email. After a few days I went in person, paid it, and got out of there.Throughout these three months I was also trying to get some doors in my house replaced. Had the same problems. The guy said hed get me some estimates, hed send some guy out to measure, and get the install scheduled. None of that ever happened. I called to ask for updates. They said theyd call me back. They never did. I ended up giving up on him. When I went in to pay for the garage door he clearly recognized me, but had no memory of all the things he said he was going to do that he never did.Ultimately, its not hard to install windows and doors and they dont make any of the actual products so youd end up fine. This complete lack of communication and information is unacceptable though.

Had new openers put in this past year and did a great job as usual. Have used Edelen for residential and business over 20 years. They do good work whether it is maintenance or new installs and stand behind there products. Had a sync issue with the new garage openers recently. Came out and coordinated with the manufacture to fix on site. Really appreciate the customer service they provide.

When we needed our door repaired quickly, Matt was at our house first thing the next morning. He was very thorough in explaining what had happened to our door and how he was going to repair it. He went above and beyond in greasing and checking everything out. Matt definitely provides awesome services!

I just canceled a $1000.00 door order from Edelen. I asked them to order it for me over 6 weeks ago. They just got around to doing it and wanted to pass on a price increase that just went into effect. Really ? Probably just as well, the last door I ordered from was installed with damage on it. Ill look elsewhere for a new door, lost my business permanently.

Our sliding door handle recently broke. It’s a very unique handle and other businesses were unable to help us. Edelen Doors & Windows spent 30 minutes researching it, found one on the other side of the country and gave us the information to be able to purchase it on our own. All without a sale because their suppliers don’t carry it (it’s a super rare handle). We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and plan to come back the next time we need work done. Also, it was so nice not to experience a pressure sale! Thanks for being so helpful.

I had the need to call Edelen Doors yesterday due to a broken spring. I was very surprised when Jay told me that they could come the same day between 2 and 4pm, At 3 pm Kevin showed up and in short order had the door repaired and also took the time to readjust the chain and lube the whole apparatus . I cannot say enough to indicate how pleased and impressed I was with him and the work he did . Thanks Edelen for an incredibly well done job.

Broken Garage Torsion Springs.This is the 2nd time I had service from Edelen Doors and Windows Company. The first time lasted 6 years ago, so I can’t complain. As matter of fact, I was really impressed with the technician Santiago Llanos, they sent out to service my broken garage spring. I used to work as a field service tech for Xerox as a copier technician for 10 years, so I know when observing someone’s work will tells me if they are an experienced and knowledgeable person. Santiago knows exactly what he was doing the entire time. He measured & measured and even repositioned the spring mount center-plate that was like that forever. Every little detail was performed flawlessly. Once the springs replacement was done, he then tune-up and lubricated every moving parts of my garage doors hinges and bushings. The entire job went well efficient and he cleaned up every drip on the floor from lubrication. He even advised me not to put too much grease on the screw drive track to prevent grease from dripping from the hot summer. I. Santiago has been doing this for 15 years so I trust his work and would recommend him to anyone who needs service on garage door.

If you want stand up comedy call these guys, they like to crack jokes when you call them about fixing problems with their work. If you want door installation and good customer service call any other business but these guys. Jokes on them cos I wont be calling them again.

I just bought 2 sliding glass door replacements from Edelen. From the help I received in their showroom. to Steves visit to measure, and finally Darrens install I am completely satisfied. Would gladly recommend.

I would not do business with this company again. A few years ago, I put lots of new doors and windows and a new garage door with expensive electric opener in my home. I spent over 15 thousand dollars with this company. The garage door opener is falling out as it was installed into a cheap piece of particle board with just a couple of wood screws and it was inevitably going to pull away from the wall. I called the company and they were very condescending and not at all apologetic or even willing to look at the install issue for less than 99 dollars (not 100, 99 oh brother). The guy told me I should have been having it maintained every year and implied I was an idiot for not knowing this as it is just like getting the oil changed in your car. I wrote Edelen about the fact I had spent a lot of money at their company and it was surprising to me they didnt stand by their installs or even have more courtesy. They didnt even bother to respond. I wont be going there for the new windows and doors I need.

Completely unprofessional. My service tech was Kevin. Kevin was argumentative, he walked into our house wearing dirty black shoes on white carpet, he spit in our yard (not out of anger, just because he is someone who spits a lot and apparently spitting in customers yards is acceptable to him), he grinded metal 18 away from a shelf of paints, paint thinner, and other very flammable items, forcefully tried to upcharge me with the garage door in pieces...and got loud and angry when I refused the up-charge.... saying, quote youre unreal, in 26yrs ive never had anyone deny this added charge.When I called the office to speak with a manager, the manager was very polite but informed me Kevin was their only tech guy and they couldnt reprimand him in fear of Kevin quitting. I actually laughed at his honesty. Doesnt change the fact Ill never call this company again.

I would put no stars if it let me! The springs broke on our garage door. My father had used Edelen in the past, so I gave them a call. They seemed knowledgeable and professional over the phone so I felt comfortable setting an appointment with them for two days later. Kevin pulled in to the driveway and seemed ill at ease from the start. Because the garage door was not working I had to walk him through the house to get to the garage. My two dogs were in the yard because I wanted to make sure they wouldnt get out of the house if he had to go in and out through the front door. Unfortunately it was the WORST experience I have EVER had with a contractor. I should have gone with my first instinct when I met him at the front door and never have let him in the house. I have never EVER felt uncomfortable or unsafe with a contractor before in my life. I even brought the dogs in to the house while he was there for added security, only to have him almost let them out when he left!!!! Thankfully he was off the property, the dogs safe, and the door locked within 10 minutes. I already called another company to do the work. I am shaking and crying but my dogs and I are safe. DONT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH Edelen Doors & Windows !!!!!!!

Jackie was extremely helpful when I needed to order a few windows that I would be installing in my house. She took the time to explain the differences in various product lines and went through the specs very carefully with me before placing the order.

Agree with others about zero stars. Worst customer service ever. We bought all the windows in our house there. On several occasions we have needle replacement parts and get zero help or response when we call and email. They are completely unhelpful. (This is the first time I have given a bad review on Google.)

Originally went to Edelen over 12 weeks ago and picked out eleven doors for our home remodel. I arrived with door measurement and after a while in their showroom had picked all the doors to go in out house. Steve Heuseric told us give me a few days and I will have your quote ready. Well here we are with not so much as a call back or response to any of my numerous emails. I was recently able to get a hold of the owner and was told he would speak with Steve and make sure he got back to me. That was three weeks ago and still nothing. Wow really! I guess a $20k+ door order isnt worth their time. Atleast contact me and let me kow what the issue is. Absolutely worthless company. So dissapoined we spent all this time to get doors ordered from them and they dropped the ball. I see now why they are rated so poorly everywhere on the web. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
