Both gals up in front have been super helpful and make sure I have everything I need before I leave the store, I think their names are Cristina and Sara? overall Im super pleased with their customer service.
Thanks so much! My scrollsaw was misbehaving. I brought it in expecting an overhaul and they fixed it on the spot by tightening some bolts on the rocker arms. No charge, happy customer
This is a copy of what I sent the DeWalt Company in regards to how I have been treated by Spears Construction Supply for their customer service for the repair of a Dewalt tool.On 1/6/20 I tool my impact driver into Spears Construction Supply in Portland Oregon.Just a little history, in the past, I had grown used to having my tools serviced, sometimes while I wait at this Airport Road location. I have been made aware Spears Construction Supply now owns this and they no longer consider themselves a true Authorized DeWalt Service Center? This confused me, on the DeWalt website I am directed to Spears as a certified service center.Upon dropping my tool off, I was unaware that there has been a change of ownership and that there have been issues with the relationship with Spears, the procedures with DeWalt, animosity between Spears and Seattle DeWalt, etc... I was told my tool would be ready last Thursday 1/9. I called in and was told that it wasnt ready, they were waiting for a part from South Carolina and that I should expect it today. I called in today and found out my tool has been shipped to somewhere in Seattle (1/10) and even though the usual turnaround from Seattle is five days, my tool is missing somewhere in your system and they cannot give me a date to expect it. I was also treated rudely by Daryl, who is I guess the owner of Spears, and that he would call me later today with the whereabouts of my tool. He didnt call me back and when I decided to call in, I spoke with him and he apologized/transferred accountability, and offered me a new tool - I reminded him that I sent my tool in with an accessory (non-DeWalt) bit index attached to it. I was given no date or whereabouts of my tool and told to complain to the Manager in Seattle.Daryl described issues he has been experiencing with DeWalt and the Seattle location and basically blamed everything on them. I told Daryl to get my tool back and also informed him I no longer want to deal with him or his company.I am a successful builder, most of my essential tools are DeWalt, I have no time to deal with this. I have little tolerance for companies that do not do what they say they will do, or who are rude, or that blame others and try to transfer accountability. I just want to trust my tool platform, this includes your service side of your company. I understand that maybe Daryl and Spears Construction Supply is an anomaly and that they shouldnt really be flying the flag of DeWalt as a Certified Service Center, thats fine - but fix your relationship with them or sever it.I want to know who the regional manager is for DeWalt in Oregon (PNW), I want this message to be a complaint against Spear Construction Supply, and I want my tool back.Respectfully
***** 5-STARS Wow ! I have nothing but good things to say about Spears Construction Supply. Ive been going to the DeWalt service center store on Airport Way for years to take care of any warranty problems with my DeWalt tools. Now Spears Construction Supply took over the old DeWalt store I was skeptical at first that we wouldnt get the same quality customer service.I recently went into Spears Construction to return a DeWalt impact because it was still under warranty and they replaced it in seconds with no questions asked. Ive been into Spears 3 times and all 3 times Ive had the best professional customer service. I highly recommend the using Spears Construction Supply for any DeWalt tools that need to be serviced or replaced. thanks
Very responsive to my needs; never any complaints even when I call and ask for something the same day. Andy is an excellent sales representative and has been a great source of information when it comes to safety supplies. I would recommend Spears highly.
Best of the best working up front
