An overwhelming selection of vinegars and olive oils. There is no tasting or self-service but the staff is friendly and helpful and the store is clean and organized. If you want to try several flavors, you can put together your own custom trial size pack and do your own tasting at home. The prices are comparable to what you see at the Farmers Markets and online.

We stopped here because of a Portland Walking Food Tour and loved it! Im not really an oil or vinegar gal, but my husband is and I had fun too! Sampling the different flavors proved to be more delicious than I anticipated and we ended up picking out a sampler pack that we were able to ship home. That staff was super helpful and we were glad to have stopped here. So unique!

If you enjoy cooking, and regularly use olive oil or balsamic vinegar, a stop here is an absolute must (no pun intended). They have more than several absolutely delicious vingars that will leave you wishing you brought bread to dip. I highly recomend the Sicilian Lemon white venegar.

I found Benessere when I visited Oregon, and knew I’d need to order myself some of their amazing products. I ordered a set of 6 oils / vinegars to be shipped to me, and unfortunately, one bottle broke open in the mail. When I called to let somebody know, that’s when Chris picked up. He let me know that they would replace it, and that he’d call back for more details. When he called back the next day, I explained how the lid had broken, and the whole bottle of traditional balsamic had spilled out into the cardboard packaging. He told me that he had already sent out a replacement, along with 3 other bottles as a gift to me. I am so thankful that not only did I get a quick resolution to the broken bottle, but a generous gift as well. I will be checking the mail with much anticipation. If you use a lot of olive oils and/or balsamic this place is actually a pretty good deal.

There is an amazingly diverse amount of Oils and Balsamic vinigars at this place. They allow you to sample the different flavors so that you can get exactly what you are looking for. This is a great place to find something different to serve with bread that will blow the minds of your family or guests.

I and two other ladies made a stop in this shop on 11/18/2017 as part of a Chocolate Decadence walking tour. The shop has a wonderful chocolate balsamic vinegar that is worth tasting and the rest of their products are quite good as well. The issue I have with the bad service we received. The employee who was there to help was a young lady with shaved bald head (description included to identify the employee who provided the piss-poor service). She clearly didnt want us in the shop. She ignored us when we arrived, was dismissive of our tour guide and when she finally came over to present the sampling a of chocolate vinegar and oils was quite rude and disinterested in our presence; think along the lines of a middle schooler who needs an attitude adjustment.Newsflash, we are prospective customers. One of the ladies on the tour bought some vinegar and I wanted to purchase the chocolate vinegar as a gift but I refuse to spend my money where Im not wanted. I will seek out and find quality chocolate balsamic vinegar elsewhere.

Olive oil good. Through I found they dont always open at 10:00 so I wasted a trip. Need to find a new store.

The harissa olive oil is especially great, and awesome on pizza! You can get 2 ounce bottles if youre traveling on a plane with it and dont want to check a bag!

Moderately interesting place of youre a connoisseur of oils and vinegars.
