I had recently purchased some deeply discounted sconces from another retailer in town. The fixtures were missing some hardware and had some scuffs. Fortunately I was able to fix ‘em right up with a trip to the hardware store AND a visit to Globe Lighting, where a very helpful associate, Jordan, knew exactly what I needed (a shade ring and spacer). He was pleasant on the phone and very confident the solution would work, and when I came in, he proved it! Very happy with the final result and I couldn’t have done it without them. Highly recommend this location!

As a local designer that has been in business for over 30 years it was a pleasure to walk into the showroom in Northwest and see a familiar face. Especially after what weve been through the last year. The last time I had visited was February of 2020 for a large condo project and yesterday I walked in and was greeted by Jordan, he was the last person I had contact with for over a year at this location. My client and I had a very pleasant experience, found everything we were looking for and Jordan of course was incredibly professional and courteous. My client said to me while we were exiting the showroom that she would like to come back & have Jordan assist us when we redesign her kitchen. To me thats a good sign of customer service.

He helped me problem solve and find the right parts to fix it, and did it on the house. Wow! Globe is now my first destination for any lighting needs moving forward. Globe lighting was the biggest help while building our home. Avery jumped in as soon as we arrived and got to know us and what we were searching for. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely smart when it came to finding what we wanted and staying in budget. Shopped here for the first time today. I thought the quality & variety were terrific, the prices Ok - upscale, but neither wallet breaking nor bargain basement. Much more diversity of style than is reflected in the website.After making two slow independent circles, I accepted input from staff who had offered but had not pressed themselves on me. Terri was very informative & articulate with an expanded awareness about choosing a piece relative to our setting & style. Im likely to get my piece here.

Went in for 2 table lamps. Had called ahead and Quinton Chaney helped me over the phone. He said he thouht they had what we needed but if not it would be online. I went on hoping for a small part for a halogen can light. They went searching their parts bins and found me a replacement. No charge, even though the different people helped me over the course of 15 minutes or so. The service is appreciated.

I really love globe lighting. Worked with them on a commercial project out of their Portland store. Excellent service. The very thought of having thousands of light and fixture options is daunting let alone getting it right. My personal experience for my own use has been on and off. They seem to never be able to find my name in their system and orders have been lost or delayed or reordered because of wrong item. Non the less I will work with them in the future.

They have lots of light fixtures, and since I am now doing a water damage remediation that is turning into a major renovation of the house, I am in need of fixtures. The staff is very helpful, and Ill have to go back when I have more time to finish selecting the ones I want.

Not only do they have really nice fixtures, they also have great staff. I was really amazed that the president of the company helped me with a difficult to assemble fixture with a mis made part. He corrected the problem right then.

Just had a horrible customer service experience. I purchased a lamp that they then gave away to another customer. Of course, nobody told me and I waited by the front desk for a half hour until I could get service. No reason, no apology.... nothing. Thanks for nothing Josh. You guys could use some real service training and learn how to recover when things dont go right.

We went to half-a-dozen lamp stores in Portland. Some with fantastic design (and corresponding price stickers), but it was at Globe Lightning Supply that we ran into a sales person who was a technical expert. Exactly the advice we needed!!

Always a wide selection of lighting options and most of them not inexpensive. There is one room of discounted items, but the selection is limited (as one would expect). Friendly staff when you need them. Will return when we are ready to buy.

Was referred here by another shop, unfortunately this place did not have what I was after. Not that big of a deal...However, I was very disappointed by the condescending tone of the rep and his unwillingness to listen to my description. Luckily, they are not the only place in town.
