The team at the shop are super helpful and very knowledgeable. I am not a local to the area and where able to help me out in a bind. I cannot wait to visit the shop next time I’m in the area.

Really enjoyed this place. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great! I got a flight and loved it. Would definitely recommend and go back in the future!

Popped in on a Friday afternoon. Cocktail and liquor flights available. Fun liquors like pear brandy (very real pear flavor) and coffee from local coffee. Bartender incredibly informative. Liked almost everything I tried and bought three bottles. Immediately texted everyone I know and put it on my must do list for out of town visitors.

Had a great selection of from-scratch liquors and liqueurs. The sample taster provides generous pours and some history and knowledge as you sip on some excellent craft spirits. Inside the actual distillery floor shows some great views of the distilling process. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff.

Melissa is the homie that can tell you everything you need to know. Great environment and down to earth place. Do ask questions to better your knowledge in distilleries. Have your distillery row passport ready!

I am a bourbon and beer man, but damn if these guys dont make the best vodka Ive ever tasted. Actually bought a bottle and have been loving it.The employees were extremely helpful and had a wealth of information about the products, process, and cocktails. The guy helping us was even whipping up mini simple cocktails to help us figure out how the vodka or gin would taste in a cocktail.

New Deal has been making craft spirits in Portland for over 10 years now, which makes them one of the originals. Their original New Deal Vodka is very tasty! And their Distillers Workshop Whiskey was completely amazing--the only problem was the bottle was too small. Their Portland Dry Gin 33 is my go-to gin for mixing with tonic or drinking straight on the rocks. Visit their Tasting Room and buy direct from super nice people and help support the local Portland economy.

Excellent cocktail flights! All the tastings were great, and I especially loved the cascara liqueur, but the mini cocktails were the best! So fun to get to taste so many different delicious cocktails.

This place is one of Portlands gems.Nothing to look at, it is a factory/distillery, after all, but if you want too be way cooler than the cool kids, and also discover something truly special, then make a point to tour the distillery and hit the tasting room.Often theyll let you try one of their new experiments, and the owner/distiller will, if not busy, let you share his vast knowledge.The Chamomile Infused liquor is to die for, and the Hot Monkey is great for those who like that sort of thing.Another good idea is to chat cocktail recipes, you might discover something great to take home and impress your friends with.

One of my favourite distilleries in Portland. Run by down to earth humans who are passionate and down to share their knowledge. Tastings are $10 but $5 of that goes towards a purchase. Their coffee liquor is a staple in our house and their Amber Rum is a treat if you can get it.

Such an amazing place and I love how passionate they are about their product. Lots of new favorite drinks. This was on my chocolate tour today because of the mud runner vodka, a chocolate nib infused vodka. Such an amazing experience.

Of all the distilleries we tried in Portland this one was our least favorite. Nice chill vibe and okay spirits but nothing as interesting or delicious as some of the other craft distilleries surrounding it. Our favorite by far though was the Cascadia - definitely check that one out if you appreciate an herbal bitter!

The staff at New Deal is very knowledgeable in the products sold and the owner is very willing to explain the distilling process. The New Deal vodka is the best tasting and smoothest Ive ever tried. I also had the chance to sample their full line of products, which included the Mud Puddle (non-sweet chocolate vodka), Hot Monkey (SPICY vodka), Spicy Ginger Cello (tastes like candied ginger) and a sweet, coffee flavored liqueur. Of all the places my husband and I visited on a recent Distillery Row tour, this was my favorite.

Maybe its in a warehouse and maybe its an industrial side of town but theres a reason for that: to keep this gem hidden! Oh and because they distill booze there too. The tasting room isnt much in terms of ambiance (again, its a distillery first and foremost) but what is offers is fantastic. Micro cocktails and samples at an extremely reasonable price. Toss in an amazing staff that is passionate and knowledgeable and you cant go wrong. Be sure to ask questions as the staff loves to make answer any type of inquiry and make great drink suggestions and pairings. Youll be blown away by their chocolate vodka for sure.

Vodka 88 is fantastic! I also love the ginger liqueur. They have a coffee alcohol that is pretty amazing and every coffee lover should check out. Staff is amazing and i personally love tasting rooms that where you can see the actual operation making all the tasty drinks they have. Check this place out!

As one of the big names in Portlands now booming microdistillery scene, New Deal continues to pump out quality products regularly. Theyre standard vodkas and gins are top quality and handmade with care and attention. The tasting room was nice and the workers were very knowledgeable. Make sure to stop by here if you decide to tour Distillery Row.

First off, great name. New Deal has really embodied what has been a revival in craft distilling. They make some great liquor and are very friendly and often open their tasting room and distillery to guests.

Great selection of gins and vodkas. Once we walked in when they werent officially open, but they were eager to end their boring meeting and pour us some samples! I came home happy with a bottle of chocolate vodka. If you plan on doing a lot of distillery tastings, get a Distillery Row Passport!

This place rules!!! Very good vodkas and gins and a friendly informative staff. They even started making some liquors that are great, especially the coffee one. Worth checking them out directly as they have a few varieties you might not find at the usual liquor stores.
