This place is amazing, the 2 girls new exactly what I was looking for and were super helpful, I will definitely be going back.

Friendly staff and pretty great deals happening every now and then. Im able to get everything I need in one stop to make my favorite mixed drinks.

The OL website listed 18 bottles in stock that I was looking for. When I showed up and looked for myself the shelf was empty. I was asked if I needed help so I asked and another employed remarked, NOPE!Im sure they get the same questions often, but to me if your are asking if I need help in a retail environment, maybe be a little more pleasant in the response.

So kathy got her dinner, but Tim and I got only the entree, with no sidesSo overall pretty poor rating

Pleasant staff. Like everybody else, have shortened their hours. Only day taken off used to be Christmas-now, do not know. Usually have enough staff to open 2-3 registers, so need to wait outside is usually not long. Masks required, as they should be. Nice selection of spirits

I came to get Apple Wild Roots Vodka, it was recommended with Apple Cider and a cinnamon stick. Unfortunately, they didnt carry that one here, so I got Pear instead.

Visited a friend in Portland for a few weeks and we went to this store often. Always a pleasant experience. There was one thing that stood out. An employee. This young lady was EXTREMELY sweet, quick and very pleasant. You could tell she liked her job. She was so great each time I had an encountered w her. She deserves praise. I always have a hard time figuring out a good combination for a good tasting drink but this one lady took the time to help me and go above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with what I was wanting in a drink. Charged me for a paper bag on two separate occasions without asking. On the second occasion, I asked why I was not given the choice if I wanted to pay for a bag or not. The cashier rudely said I needed make the request before the transaction was complete. I politely asked if there was a sign posted making this known.There was not. I asked for a refund, saying I could carry my two 5ths without a bag. She could not do it herself, and needed to get the manager. I left without the refund, knowing I would make a post of the rudeness/unprofessionalisim.

Card machine was down, had to go pay a fee for an atm then they say what I want they are hold all the bottles for bars. Poor customer service.

I went to the store Wednesday evening to wait in a long line. I got inside and again had 4 people in front of me and watched as the ladies upfront rang people up. One of the women working (in a tank top and jeans) was outright terribly rude to an elderly man with an accent. You can very much understand him and she was shouting and making him feel bad and when I said something to her about his English not being the best her reply was “ she doesn’t have to help anyone if they’re being rude they can get the eff out” to her customer she was helping. The other two ladies were very helpful and nice I’m just in shock about the customer service that was given to her customers. Not welcoming.

Employees always welcome you as you walk in and always say have a great day or have a good one. Always clean if you need something that the owner may not have ask him and he will try to get it for you. Plenty of parking and handicap parking.

Maegan is truly the only reason I choose to come to Division Liquor, honestly the best liquor store in the Portland Metropolitan area by far. Maybe the best in the state of Oregon, definitely recommend stopping by and talking to Maegan for sure, you wont be disappointed, also make sure to tip her well with wells or of coarse as always cold hard cash. Cash definitely talks, so be prepared when you go in to drop a few Benjamins, and also be prepared for Maegans great upselling skills, you think your just going in for a half gallon of R&R and youll wind up leaving with two half gallons of Jack, and a fifth of R&R. Well anyways check Division out, best price around and always great sales as well as a friendly and outgoing sales staff with Maegan leading the pack by far.

Well past the middle of the day, and there were boxes blocking aisles, thats unacceptable in a place thats supposed to be a business. Shelves were stocked, (didnt have what I was looking for though) and the woman behind the counter is gorgeous. I can say I wouldnt want to go back, if it werent so close to my home.

I was Ubering one Thursday afternoon, and suddenly had a hankering for a peanut butter sandwich and whiskey all at the same time. I turned off my Uber app, and went into Division Liquor. I grabbed a bottle of whiskey, and planned on drinking it once I was safely home, although my evening still would have me on the hunt for a peanut butter sandwich. I explained my plans to a strapping young man named “Christopher”. Christopher immediately got excited! He introduced me to a type of liquor called “peanut butter whiskey”! I didn’t bother Ubering anymore that evening, and instead went to Fred Meyer and bought myself some high quality strawberry jelly. Upon arriving home, I put the peanut butter whiskey in a blender along with a few slices of Wonder Bread and the high quality strawberry jelly, and the result was a delicious shot of peanut butter and jelly sandwich goodness! This store is under the same ownership as the store at 122/Halsey. I have to say that I am continually impressed by the customer service that I receive from this store, as well as the other location. Because they are so helpful I try to save all of my business for them. The stores are always clean, they are not crowded/cluttered, all of the bottle sections are visible from anywhere in the store. Can’t say enough about these stores and the atmosphere the owners bring to them. Definitely walk in and give them some business. I’ve visited many stores in the metro area and these two are my favorite.
