Purchased from them twice in the past year. The staff were very helpful and DIYer-friendly both times. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Mask mandate. 2 people at a time inside. Asked for two products. Did not have either. Would have had to order them and it would require me to wait several days. I did not even wait for an estimate. Nice enough staff. Person at the counter even left to go inspect with their eyes that the lack of product was not a computer glitch. Cant complain.

The staff here is great. They found us the best price and even helped my wife strap the steel lengths down on her car. We will be coming to them for future metal needs.

Cant get past the front desk. Go in to see about some metal and have to put up with the third degree first. Asking me personal questions before I can even learn whether they have what I want. This outlet has never been user friendly. They always act like a customer is a pain. New management or a change in the company culture is sorely needed here.

I love the place. The people arent very nice, like at all. But the selection is good and the guys are knowledgeable. They are the only metal place I have been to so I cant speak on price. I use their metal to build custom computers.

Its more weird than anything else. I just found these guys to supply some steel for one of our jobs, and the first order was fine.. the second time Brad quotes me, I call back to pay and hes charged me 25% more when I get there. I asked what happened and he said he told gave me the new price when I called back, no explanation why the change. Smug guy--guess he just isnt looking for return customers.

Needed some 3/4×3×1/8 thick aluminum coupons for weldind got a 100 pieces for about 45$ Most places dont deal with these small orders but was great to deal with at less than .50 apiece, Ill mark them down for my go to projects!!

Lady in the front is clueless. I tell the size and thickness. She tell the employee to cut the wrong size and said I told her to do so. I told them if there a camera and if she correct I would buy them all lunches. Very rude and she shouldnt be working in customer service. The employees that does all the heavy lifting and cutting are great. Need to let her go, that how I felt about it.

I like this business for the variety of aluminum and non steel product they sell. I also like it that they have a warehouse area you can browse for cut ends as well as full length stock. The workers in the back warehouse are quick to help you with your specific cuts and the front desk writes up your invoice. I have not shopped a lot of aluminum suppliers in the Portland area, but my impression is that their prices are a bit high.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are comparable to online sources, but without having to wait for shipping. Saturday hours are very convenient for those who work regular Monday-Friday jobs.

I needed 4 panels of 6061 aluminum, an item they have on hand. Was quoted a decent price over the phone, and per request, provided credit card number to hold item. Drove clear across town, and surprise, surprise: quoted price was for 1 panel, price for all 4 was at least double what another local supplier charges, and as an added insult, they went ahead and charged my credit card anyway after I left empty handed. So IMO: 1-overpriced rip off outfit; 2-dishonest business practices. Im guessing the 2 go hand-in-hand.

Went in on Saturday and got the steel I needed cut to size for no extra charge. I also picked up a few pieces of scrap or end cuts, charged by weight. I will be back for more and will recommend. Thanks for being open on saturdays!

The lady at the front desk was very polite but the gentleman in the shop was rude disrespectful against peoples medical conditions and I will never use them again

Neanderthal customer service. I walked out after 30 seconds of dealing with guy behind the counter. Immediately found a competitor who was happy to receive my money and I placed the order. So many better choices locally.

This is not a store for non professionals, if you ask any assistance they will send you to their website, the lady answering the phone and at the reception desk has no idea what customer service means, they have great selection and are fast and reliable if you know what you need exactly

If I could give less than a star I would. Drive 35 minute to come here and walk in the door. Say hello do you have a list of products and prices. Rudest women I have ever met says “nope” with no other assistance. She wanted us to leave. Told me to go online. Absolutely terrible. Don’t waste your time.

Disgustingly expensive!! I showed then a copper pipe and ask them to cut me a circle of copper with 1 inch diameter and after 30 min waiting they guy brought me a 1x1 inch square and asking me $10 for it! they can not even understand the difference between square and circle!

In the past I used an other steel yard service, I tried this one first time and will be the last time....
