My husband and I were both very pleased with the attention and high quality service we received at Fleet Feet. Our new shoes are great - perfect fit, very appropriate to our needs, great looking, and though we were introduced to insole upgrades, they were not pushed inappropriately, and when we decided we liked the shoes best as is there was no hard sell. We had appointments, and there was not a soul in the store when we arrived, but immediately customers started pouring in one after another. The two staff people there handled it all cheerfully and smoothly, and never neglected us for a moment. Thumbs up all around.

I went in to get actually fitted for a pair of running shoes today in preparation for my first half marathon. Chris helped me today and was such a great experience long story short. He didn’t pressure me into getting the most expensive shoes which was incredible. Chris was incredibly kind and helpful when it came to what I was looking for and what worked best for my feet. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and make sure you ask for Chris when you are there although I’m sure the rest of the staff is just as knowledgeable and kind. First time visit and I had the entire store to myself on a hot summer day! I was greeted by the person working there and they spent a dedicated amount of time with me to figure out the best fit for running. I got to try on many different brands to figure out the feel and comfortability that I was looking for. I ended up going for the whole package and purchased the socks, insoles and shoes! I cannot wait till my order comes in the mail!

BEST. STORE. EVER. I just got home from my visit at Fleet Feet in Portland and I cant wipe the smile off my face. I have been dealing with some knee soreness while walking and running and knew my shoes were to blame. I have incredibly high arches and have never found a decent pair of shoes that are appropriate for my feet. This store was my last ditch effort before just going to an orthopedic specialist to get expensive inserts. So glad I went and got to work with Jacob. He listened to my concerns and went to work getting my feet analyzed (not just watching me run like other stores I have been to) in order to find out what issues I am having and find the right kind of shoe. He is a miracle worker. Brought out 3 pairs, all of which were amazing, but 2 that have changed the way I see shoes. Then he added some inserts and viola, heaven! If you care about your health and are willing to invest in the right shoes, go to Fleet feet. I cant recommend this place and Jacob enough!

Ive never had a better experience at a retail storefront. I went in just looking for my next pair of running shoes and left with a great pair of shoes and scans of my feet with every size (unit) and reference I could ever want. On top of everything they provided their customer service is second to none. Incredibly welcoming and friendly will not mean pushy. They just want you to get into something youre happy with.More details below.I had to go in twice because I insisted on buying the wider pair that ended up giving me a lot of friction and hot spots underneath my feet from the extra wiggle room. When I went back in they were super understanding and helped me find the perfect size and insole to get me out running comfortably again. Whatever Chris and the other employee (sorry I just spaced on your name!) that were closing on 05/11/2021 are currently making is not enough for the level of service they provided! I will 100% be returning and referring all my friends to your store from now on.

Went to Fleet Feet for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I got my first ever fitting because I was tired of wearing shoes that didn’t feel good on my feet. I was helped by Caroline who did not rush me and explained everything in detail. I would definitely recommend fleet feet to anyone.

Walked into this place cos I’m training for a half marathon and needed new running shoes. I have very flat and wide feet so I was worried about what they would have. They did a digital scan of my feet and showed me my pressure points and exact sizing of each foot. They had me try on different insoles for flat feet and two different pairs of wide running shoes. They were super knowledgeable and had the inventory for my exact feet/sizing. Already tried out the new Hokas and insoles I ended up buying on a long run and I can definitely say they felt like I’ve had the shoes for years. Very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this place!

I am old-school and was used to a foot measuring device that’s shaped like a yellow submarine and a shoehorn for every shoe. This was my first Fleet Feet visit. But Chris at Fleet Feet carried me gently and interestingly into 21st Century shoeshopping. He is so smart, so well informed, so engaging and the result, for me, was transformative. He made, what would have been a rather complicated statistical evaluation of my feet’s needs, a very comfortable, informative personalized engagement. Fleet Feet is my new go-to shoe shop!

David was very helpful and made the experience of getting new shoes really enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, listened to what I had to say and was very friendly. He was happy to recommend products based on his own personal experiences, but I never felt like he was pressuring me into buying something or being condescending (which I think can often happen at sports shops). Also when I first walked in I was greeted immediately in a very friendly manner, overall the process was very comfortable (both the atmosphere in the shop and the shoes!) and really great. Also, the 3d imaging of my feet was really interesting and David was able to explain everything I asked about.If youre interested in getting new running shoes and want to invest in something that is really going to work for you, definitely go to Fleet Feet PDX!!

If you appreciate your feet, youll appreciate this shoe store. Its a complete experience of applying science to your saunter. The staff are very attentive. Theyll help you determine what your feet have been trying to tell you and get them just what they need to get you standing tall and bring a spring back into your step. True foot whispers!

Caroline in the Portland, Oregon store was absolutely incredible to work with! Not only were they a WSU alumni, they managed multiple customers seamlessly during a big push, and they had a genuinely great attitude. Caroline helped both me and my partner find the perfect shoes. It was so cool to do the 3D scan fitting and have a professional watch how I walk to determine the best shoe type for my needs. 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends and family!

Foot measuring technology is very impressive but upselling was a turnoff as was staff who had too many customers to help so that no one got enough attention.

Im a plus-size runner & my biggest concern when entering athletic stores is discrimination against my size. I felt SO comfortable and accepted at Fleet Feet. I was expecting your run-of-the-mill running store but this place steps it up to a whole new level. Connor helped me pick out the perfect running shoes that fit like a glove (but like, for your feet)! I took em for a short run this morning and I cant express how happy I am with my new kicks!

Connor was super helpful and friendly! I came in for a fitting appointment and he was very thorough. They gave me some socks to use, a foot roller for my feet, and a theragun for my calves while I waited. They had lots of options for shoes including Brooks, New Balance, and Asics. They have lots of selection for SuperFeet insoles and I picked up a pair of Carbon ones. I will definitely go back again when I need new ones!

Staff is so helpful and patient. I am so indecisive and they made sure I got the right shoe. They understand that running shoes are an investment so they have a great selection and a great return policy. After two runs, I wasnt happy with my shoe / insoles combo and they gladly helped me fix the problem and exchange my insoles for a better fit. Would recommend!

My New Running Store!This place is excellent! There is a large selection when it comes to specific running shoes. I struggle with finding the right fit. I have flat feet and wear orthotics. One of the specialists, Kristen, did an amazing job helping me pick the right show. She listened to my situation and was able to identify some excellent options. Kristen and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I usually buy online, but NOW this is my store (Fleet Feet - Portland/Pearl)!

Meh. The pictures seem to be from another store that had a track in it. This one does not. Its small, didnt have a great trail running shoe section, and it had a VERY limited stock of running gear. Only one or two brands of everything. Probably a great small downtown running store, but we left with nothing, wishing for a larger selection of trail gear, more natural food selections, and better stocked sizes in popular shoes like the hokas. Customer service was good, nice guy.

I have been multiple times and every time, the service is incredible. The staff is invested in getting you the best fit in your shoes. And I love the 3D scanner. It helped me understand my shoe needs in ways that will keep me healthy for years to come.

One note is most Fleet Feet locations sponsors running groups for your weekday short runs or walks. Check in for up to date times and meet locations.One nice feature was an indoor “track” layout on the floor. Great way to get the youngsters hooked on running and being active.Parking can be tough to find with this store.

I love Fleet Feet. They are great to work with. I have knee issues that I thought would have ended my running but my Altras have saved the day! I’ve gone to other running stores but I’ve never felt as if I was being taken seriously.The employees have always taken the time to work with me and help pick out the right product and have never made me feel rushed.I just purchased a new pair of Altras and they didn’t have my size but called another store and they were sent to my house 2 days later free of charge. I googled custom fit running shoes Portland as I have been having issues over the last few years with bunions not realizing until recently that they were due in part to ill-fitting shoes. I am not a runner but I do a lot of walking (city and trail) - usually around 50k per week.The employee who helped me (Karen, I believe?) was wonderful. Knew about foot anatomy and the different issues I was dealing with. Brought out three different shoes to try, plus different inserts, watched me walk in each one and patiently let me re-try the shoes to make my final decision.I felt very pampered and felt like I was getting expert advice in a comfortable, non-rushed atmosphere. I will be stopping by for another pair of shoes before I leave Portland. 100% recommended

This place is amazing.I came here because of the high reviews and I needed a place with gait analysis. This place has an inside track, photo machine to analyze your arches, and treadmills. Chris assisted me in my search for the perfect shoes and inserts. Chris gave me multiple shoes and inserts to try. He also analyzed my gait in each pair.They didnt have the style and of shoe I wanted so they placed an order for my shoe and will mail it to me when it comes in.

I visited in 2009 when they had a different name, and again a month ago. This place is consistently awesome! Had a bad experience and made expensive mistakes at a mall store, and came here to find the shoes I ACTUALLY needed. The saleswoman who helped me was sooo helpful and patient with my indecision and running shoe ignorance, and I never felt pressured or manipulated into buying anything. I walked out with seriously perfect shoes. I’m wearing them now!

Not in any specific order, just as thoughts come to mind...The store is very clean, well-stocked with an excellent selection of items.All the reps are very knowledgeable and helpful, willing to answer any questions, and I very much appreciate their personal experiences and opinions on products Im considering purchasing, from gels to shoes to running apparel.Numerous times my friends have heard about Feet Fleet...uh...Fleet Fleet...say that 10x fast...Sports store when I tell them Im training for a 1/2 marathon. The coffee is great and a very nice touch! The reps are very patient while I try on a variety of shoes and run around the indoor track.The 5k, 10K and 1/2 marathon training programs are great, and the coaches are very good and knowledgeable.And everyone seems genuinely glad to see me and great me when I enter, which is a very nice touch, as your customer appreciation seems to be at the top of someones list! Either that or Im spending way too much time in a running store...

I wanted to take the time to leave a review about the great experience I had here at Fleet Feet.I went to PRC a few days before and had a terrible experience there and ended up bringing back the shoes I bought because when I got home I found a dead leaf, dirty bottoms and a warped side of the shoe, it appears I got a return instead of a new shoe, the customer service overall was a poor experience and I didnt get treated very well.Fleet Feet was the complete opposite, from the time I walked in I felt very welcome. Anika the sales person helped me right away, asked me what I was looking for, what Ive done in the past and what I am trying to accomplish.She watched me walk and scanned my feet. She brought out several shoes and explained all the options as well as the difference between the shoes shes suggested and others on the shelf. There was no pressure of sales tactics. They generally seemed to care I got good shoes.I ended up with Brooks Adrenaline. Took them with me to the gym today and so far so good. Ill want to try them over the course of a week or two before I give a final verdict but they seem to be a good fit and her advice was spot on.If you are new to running or at least running with more expensive shoes I recommend coming here. Great service and their prices were the same as Amazon or Zappos. In fact I got mine $20 less then both those sites on sale.

Lots to love at the NW PDX location: great customer service, custom foot scans, a little indoor track to jog on while trying the shoes out, and an impressive knowledge base there with their employees. My first time purchasing at that location was March 2017; we came in again recently in January 2018 and was tickled to see that the same employee who helped me during my first visit was still there to help us with shoes for my daughter. Very impressive knowledge base at that store! Will be returning soon for my replacement pair. There is a FF location that is technically closer to us, but its smaller (smaller Sq Ft and smaller inventory) and doesnt seem to have the same level of customer service and knowledge base that the NW Pdx locale offers. Worth the extra drive!

I was a huge fan of Fit Right NW. When I heard Fleet Feet was taking over, I was concerned that my experience with the store would change. I was wrong - its still the same amazing experience with awesome service. When I walk into the store I get 1:1 help from an extremely knowledgeable runner who listens to understand my unique foot needs, then matches to the best shoe for me - not the most expensive match. I will continue having this location be my go-to for all athletic shoe needs.Outside of purchases - I love the local partnering that Fleet Feed continues to support. From fun free runs to VIP offerings tied to most major runs - great way to support local companies and local runners!

The employees at fleet feet are always extremely pleasant to work with and very knowledgable. I have been fitted and bought my last two pairs of running shoes there and they have both worked out great! I also love that you can return your shoes if they dont work out even after you run in them (which I havent had to do yet).

New to the area, I came into the store for a new pair of trail shoes. Brad was very helpful in scanning my feet, watching me run, and providing me with several pairs of shoes w/ Superfeet inserts. Not only did I leave the store with a new pair of shoes, but also a lot of information. Brad and Rachel (on a different occasion) provided me with information on local running groups, great routes, races, and restaurants. I have always been loyal to Fleet Feet (Chicago), Brad and Rachel have ensured I will remain loyal in Portland.

The main reason Fleet Feet is my go-to running store is the staff who have engaged with me in conversation about running including races, trails, shoe fit, other equipment, training, diet, etc. Really makes a difference that the people who sell the products are active in the local running community. Also carry brands of shoes that are unavailable in other stores (specifically, On and Mizuno). Appreciate that I can return shoes if they do not work for me after a trial-run.

You have the most knowledgeable and helpful employees! Also your return policy is fabulous. I drive 40 minutes and pay a little more than ordering off amazon for the service and piece of mind knowing if my shoes arent right, youll take them back and get me in the right ones!
