First and foremost... This company knows what customer service looks like. I almost all the reviews before stopping in and 99% were amazing. People bash that they did offer a free oil change for a great review as well a couple cars had problems but thats neither here nor there.. I was not made aware of this until the last second after the sell was concluded. A review is always earned and they more than earned this. I will not take advantage of the free oil change because I would have already given them a 5-star review and I will continue to buy cars from this company, being a Successful business owner myself, I respect everything this family represents. you buy a used car because you need something NOW not forever! there is no such thing as a forever used car without a few bucks put in to it of course. Choose these guys first!

Buying a car from this dealer was a delight. I love that they dont jump down your throat immediately after they see you step onto the lot, but rather wait for you to come inside to tell them you are ready to test drive a car. They definitely know their stuff when it comes to Subarus. The lady that worked with us was super personable which made the process of buying a car much less stressful. 10/10 would recommend!

Jacque was such a huge help when I was shopping for my new car. She was extremely knowledgeable about what I was looking for and extremely genuine when I asked questions and when she was talking about the inventory. I didnt feel like I was talking to a salesperson, and I so, so appreciated that. After I test-drive my car and knew it was the one, they replaced the slightly damaged windshield and a mirror that was damaged and then checked the car out for another thing we noticed, all in the same day. Very appreciative of her helpfulness and kindness during this experience. I love my new car!!

They knew I was looking for a car, so as soon as they had a good car for me they contacted me and they held on to the car for us. For starters I was searching for a particular vehicle which I searched on CarGurus which is pretty helpful I must add. So they notified me via email to let me know that that vehicle was local near my area of town. So I checked it out online and later paid the guys at Truck-n-toys a visit. Lets just say that the staff is about as good as it gets far as customer service skills and making you feel completely at home. Jacque is an all-star. You definitely will be fortunate to meet this lovely lady. Everything went perfect, I got the vehicle that I was looking for and its amazing to say the least. **THEIR REVIEWS ARE ARTIFICIALLY HIGH BECAUSE THEY OFFER A FREE OIL CHANGE FOR A GOOD REVIEW.**Our initial feeling of this place was great... until it wasn’t. Their whole motto is that they sell you a great car, that is in great mechanical shape, as they have fixed them up themselves by their certified mechanics. Within LESS THAN 24 HOURS of driving our new car off the lot, the check engine light came on and the interior lights/headlights were flickering on and off. We called immediately and they told us that it was probably the catalytic converter and that they would cover the labor if we would cover the expense of the part. They eventually agreed to replace it free of charge. The battery was also bad, which was replaced. We got the car back and it ran fine for TWO DAYS UNTIL THE RADIATOR BLEW UP, leaving us stranded on the side of the road and having to pay to have it towed. We have not even received the license plates for this car yet and have been without a working vehicle for almost the entire time we have owned it. I highly recommend reading some of the bad reviews that warn against these same things.

I purchased a 2010 forester from them in October. It started dying on me and faltering bad that night. I brought the car into them and they told me it was the aftermarket exhaust Tips. Not the problem. I had to pay for an inspection and brought them the work order from the mechanic shop. There was an air leak in the intake manifold. There is also an oil leak from the engine bay. They took it into their shop for a two hour repair and held it for seven days. Which would be cool but it was not fixed! same issues as before. They do not look at the cars before sale, don’t be like me get the vehicle inspected before purchase. This is me reaching out to TnT my car is not in operating condition please give me a call and make this right. I have a very detailed account of my money and time spent on this fiasco that I will be updating this review with in a short while.

Got my new forester here, prices can be a little high at first glance but well worth it when you see the care they take with their vehicles and their service. Jamie took extra time to explain some of the finer qualities and challenges of subarus to me and was very helpful working around my schedule. They also did a lot of major and minor service work on it and were never pushy about the sale. all in all excellent service. :-)

I would recommend taking the vehicle that you are considering buying to an independent mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection. You, like I did, may find issues that were not disclosed before doing so. It takes a special kind of person to knowingly take advantage of someone who was in a horrible car accident and has a limited amount of money to replace a totaled vehicle.

Ive had several Subarus in the past, which I have really had good luck with. When I totaled my wifes 2009 Forester, I decided to never buy another car unless it said Subaru on it. We stumbled across Trucks and Toys on the internet, so we drove over from Spokane to Post Falls just to see what they had. The sales gal, Jacque, was extremely helpful and the used car lot experience was absolutely superb. We drove off in a 2006 Forester that was about as good as you can get for a car that is 14 years old. Now that we have burned up a couple of tanks of gas, I cant find any issues with the car. We are absolutely pleased with the quality and the really fair price of the vehicle. If you are looking for a great Subaru, go see Trucks N Toys!

We just purchased an 04 Subaru Outback with low mileage and plan to take a weekend road trip. Such super nice family owned business. Very friendly and fun. Love their new building, so comfy. 5 days later: the next day we discovered the cruise control didn’t work, took it back. The tech took it out and came back and said it’s not working. They would put a new switch in it. So we got an appointment, took it in to get the new switch in, another technician took it out, he says it’s working but he said they squirted something in it and it’s working??? Please tell me why if a 35 point inspection was done on this car they did not know the cruise was not working? So now we have a cruise control that does not work all the time 😟. Not exactly thrilled with fact that we “could “ get the switch replaced but it would cost us for the part but and they would cover the labor

They can offer customers more services. 5 stars for products & customer service. Free parking & handicapped entrance. They even send me a card for my birthday each year!

Would not recommend this dealership to anyone, they are very nice but they do not stand behind that vehicles.I bought a 2009 subaru outback with 125000, 2 hours after picking it up I had a p0420 code which they helped out a little bit, a month later the radiator blew up in sandpoint and it is currently at the mechanic, worst car buying experience ever! Please save your money and just walk to and from work!6 month Update- 6 months ago around 11/2 months after buying my Subaru Outback from trucks n toys the headgaskets blew, upon purchasing the car I was told and it was advertised as having new headgaskets. They took 500 off of 2500, do you think that you should have to pay for false advertisement? I believe that trucks n toys are inadequate to sell used cars. I would recommend going to Parker Subaru or Dave Smith and getting pre-owned or go the private sale route. Trucks N Toys are great on their customer skills until you buy the car and have problems that had been hidden. *WARNING* They sell money pits, go somewhere else!!!

I am not very happy with my experience with this company. I bought a 2005 forester from them back in May, and was told the head gaskets were good and they had replaced them. Then it started having problems in November. I took it to a certified mechanic and he found out that the head gaskets need to be replaced. I took it back to Trucks and Toys and they checked it themselves and told me the same thing, but are wanting to charge me full price to fix the same head gaskets they told me were good, because the warranty only lasts 30 days. To me that says they do not stand behind the work that they do as a company and do not want to take care of me as a customer. Therefore I will never be going back there. I will also never recommend this company ever.

I purchased a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited from here May of 2018. I had done my research for about 4 months prior to purchasing my car, researching this particular car and seeing it on Craigslist advertised for about a month and a half. Luckily, the day I called, it was still available and Jamie helped me through the buying process (which was easy because I paid with cash). She was very friendly, and even stayed late to show the car. I purchased the car that night, and picked it up the next morning. I was even offered a free first oil change in exchange for a 5-star review, so I did it on Facebook. But, since leaving that parking lot, I cant stand behind that review any longer.Immediately after driving it off the lot, I noticed the drivers side window wouldnt roll up - working intermittently. I drove it right back to the dealer where one of the mechanics told me I would have to pay for the switch and theyd replace it. Obviously, this was not okay with me, but Jacque came out and let me know that I can come by and have it replaced free of charge. I thought that was great of her to take care of that for me.No more than 30 days later, I discovered that the A/C did not work. I did not notice until June, in 80+ degree weather. I never had to use it prior to this time so of course, and it felt cold the day I bought the car (it was chilly that evening). Another $200+ expense out of my pocket. Of note, this Subaru has dual climate controls with A/C as it is the Limited Edition. I spent money for a feature that I had to repair.The car was on empty when I drove off the lot, which was really unusual for any car buying experience I had ever had prior to Trucks N Toys. Anyway, I filled it up, and I noticed every gallon or so at the gas station the pump would act as though it was filled and stop filling. Although it was frustrating I figured it was maybe the pump I was at. Nope! The car has a defective fuel tank system and I have been quoted no less than $700 + labor costs to repair it. For the past year, Ive dealt with the problem and every time I fill up, it takes no less than 20 minutes. This would be impossible to miss upon the thorough inspections that I was told had occurred.I paid $9,000 in cash for this car, not including out of pocket expenses. As much as I do not want to think I was scammed because they were so kind, unfortunately the receipts keep piling up and speak for themselves. The ladies there were unbelievably kind, but I will not do business with them again, nor suggest them to friends or family due to the lack of integrity and unfair experience that I along with a few others I see have experienced.

I purchased a 2011 outback from here about 6 months ago and have intentionally waited so I could post a fair review and not one based on anger. I want to start with what I think they do well, they are indeed friendly and do a good job at customer service and detailing the cars. I think overall there are some good cars there. I did receive a birthday card months later hoping I still like my purchase.What I want all people to be aware of. When you purchase a car there, you get a $50 gift certificate for a free oil change if you give them a 5 star review, so..... read all 5 star reviews being aware of that and they in no way stand behind their cars after you purchase them.Small things that were noticed, wipers worked but when it finally rained, they had no been replaced like they said. I had a tail light that was out. Fluids were low when I checked them about 2 weeks later.Big thing: the inspection process they claim is so complete, it is not and they in no way stand behind their cars. After driving my car for 2 weeks, I had problems, major problems. I called them and brought the car into have it looked at. When it was shifted from drive to reverse there was a shudder, only when sufficiently warmed up. I also had 2 instances where the car stalled when I pulled up to stop lights. After many hours on the internet, all the forums related to the torque converter. I had them look at it, they immediately said it was a bad axle (which they say they inspect on all their cars). They were unwilling to fix the problem but would be willing to fix it at my cost, which by the was was much more expensive that other places I got quotes from, an yes i was comparing genuine Subaru parts at all places. I then took my car to a shop Ive used for years, they took one look and said definitely not the axles, in fact they had the car up on the rack and went through it with me and compared to 2 other Subarus also up on racks in the shop. I then had the transmission fluid changed per recommendation from 2 Subaru dealers and the shop doing the work. I should also mention that when i asked if Trucks and Toys could change the fluid, they said they cant because they dont actually have the tool, soo..... buyer beware of any transmission inspection or fluid changes because they cant actually change the fluid on 2011 Subarus and newer, yet the Subaru repair shop had no problems. The fluid change made some difference, problem still there and the solution was to replace the torque converter to the tune of $2500 to $3000. Another $2-3K if the transmission was bad. I dumped the car and had to take a loss, which is the best thing I could have done as this car was total piece of S... I should also note that upon research, there is actually a class action law suit on this problem, since the car had over 100K on it, I was not eligible for the repairs from Subaru. For a shop that specialized in subaru, this should have not happened and any interested party should be aware that if given the opportunity, they will dump a bad car to you.

I bought my car here about a month ago, and so far I am very happy with my purchase. One of my friends is looking for a subaru as well, and I have recommended trucks n toys to him. Jaque was extremely nice and helpful, I couldnt have asked for more from her! The services performed on the car before buying it seem be to done very well, however, the alternator drive belt was squeaking badly and I asked them to take a look at it before taking it home. I picked it up and the squeak was still there, so I replaced the belt myself. I would think that if so much work was put into gasket replacement and brakes and and other stuff, a 15$ belt should have been replaced as well. It would have take 10 minutes. Stil 4/5, but couldnt give 5/5 for that reason.

Our daughter bought a 2006 subaru impreza (155,000 miles)from toys and trucks just over a year ago They don’t create an environment that is private. Buyers get stacked up in one room, which causes a bidding war. One lady handles the financing and entire office operations. They will not go down on price. My daughter insisted on buying the impreza, because it had a manual transmission. Unfortunately it has giving her nothing but issues the past couple of months. She dropped $4000 on a newer transmission and new clutch. And the car is still having tranny/shifting issues. The auto mechanics where we go are stumped. They dropped a second tranny in and added an additive, yet the problem is still not fixed. We bought a lemon for around $6000 at trucks and toys. I Do NOT recommend buying any vehicle from this dealership.

Excellance experience at Trucks n Toys! Had them do second inspection on my 2007 Impreza for problems, they were able to come in under cost and found I also had brake issues. In less than 2 days all repairs were completed and when I went in to pick up my car it looked brand new! Very pleased with great staff, friendly and went above and beyond. Beware!!! These guys are absolute scammers!They sent a kid to to look at my Subaru that I had for sale. This young man (Max) told me he was buying with cash and we made an appointment for 8:30 that evening for his dad and he to pick it up. Max said nothing about being affiliated with a dealership. He led me to believe that he was a private buyer that had cash and was coming back to buy it for asking price. Then two guys from trucks n toys showed up at my house and told me all these things that were wrong with. which I know where not because I just had it looked at by a mechanic. They tried to lowball me so they could buy it and then sell it marked up at their lot! these guys are liars and scam artists!BEWARE!!!

I dont understand the negative feedback. These people were great to work with, honest and looked for the car we needed after our beloved 2002 Subaru Outback was totaled.Some subarus can have head gasket problems more than once, that happened with our 2002. Had to replace them twice. The scammers was the Subaru dealership in Bremerton, WA who said they needed to be replaced again, which they did not, glad we got a second opinion from our trusted mechanic. Havent had any problems with the 2008 we bought from here last year. Cant recommend them enough.
