The pharmacy here is really not helpful at all, I will never recommend wasting your time to visit here. The CVS covid vaccine appointment system online was not working to book my appointment so I called CVS customer care to help book the appointment, they said that it wasn’t working so I can do a walk in. I came to the store at 10 am when the pharmacy opened and the first thing they said was it’s only by appointments so I ask to help me book one because it’s not working for me, they told me I have to use the online system to book it. The one that doesn’t work. I’ll find another way to get my shot. Thank you but no thanks!! Very disappointed.
Poway CVS pharmacy just recently remodeled and it looks brighter, open, and cleaner. The windows are clearly labeled with dropped off, pick up, and consultation. The right side is the Minute Clinic and there are a few chairs spaced apart for waiting area. The service is hit or missed depending on who you get and what time of day. I called to place a refill rx and they had it ready same day. They use texting feature to communicate to remind you to refill, when pick up is ready, and any delays.
Super helpful and very friendly.
If I could give this pharmacy zero or negative stars, I would. They never have any of my meds in stock, they suck at billing, rude and unhelpful. I wish that this wasnt the only pharmacy that is convenient to me. I miss the right aid pharmacy in El Cajon. They were more competent. I hate this crew.
The pharmacy is fantastic! The pharmacist always takes time to answer your questions and assist your needs. Store staff is always friendly and helpful.
After receiving a call today that my prescription is ready I arrived to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. When I arrived they informed me that they didnt have insurance on file so my medication would be very expensive. I explained I do have insurance and that they have it on file. After looking they found I do in fact have insurance on file, but it had somehow fallen off, but my insurance requires a specific brand....which would mean a new fill and still needing to wait for the pharmacist to finish lunch. Also this is the 2nd time a circumstance like this has happened to me at this pharmacy. I left and immediately transferred my prescription to Rite Aid.
The minute clinic staff has been incredibly helpful the past couple days. And great people!
Very helpful staff. She even came around the corner and helped me find what I was looking for. (It was on the top shelf. Fir someone that is 52 that was almost out of my reach...lol wish I got her name. Thank you for showing me the mouth guards. My dentist stated the last time I was in that I might be grinding my teeth at night.Nd this might help me.
Always good and clean!
I am so dissatisfied with this pharmacy. Never in my life have I ever had such troubles every single time I go to fill my script. They’re always full of excuses and beating around the Bush. I called to check the status of my prescription and after 30 minutes on hold the call disconnected!! I had my phone sitting on my dresser, on speaker and it just randomly hung up!! I understand that things happen so I just figured I would stop by the pharmacy on my way home from running errands today. After waiting in a long line, I was directed I would have to go to the drop off window line. The girl who helped me was super sweet and told me to “give her an hour to get it filled BUT next time I should call first”. I explained I had called earlier and was on hold for a good while before it disconnected and I just decided to come stop by instead of waiting again. I had stuff I needed to do! I wasn’t even mad that happened because I know that those things happen sometimes. She apologized for the inconvenience. I did some shopping in the CVS before leaving and as I’m checking out, I get a phone call from one of the pharmacist who was extremely aggressive and rude to me as soon as I answered. I was so taken back by her entire vibe and how she immediately started getting mouthy with me. She explained that “She talked to me earlier and I had gotten rude and went off on her and hung up on her” and I told her I did no such thing! That I don’t appreciate her tone and that I had my phone on speaker and i wasn’t even touching my phone when it hung up. She told me “well because of your attitude your not getting your medication!” I asked her if she was serious? That we never had that conversation and I can’t believe how unprofessional she is being towards me right now. She then told me “well we’re not carrying your prescription at this time.” It’s been one thing after another with this pharmacy. I moved here 10 months ago and ever since I switched to this particular cvs I had regretted it so bad. Having to wait days to get my meds filled. Inappropriate comments from the staff when I go to fill my meds and they don’t have them ready on time. I am just overall so tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt!! And the pharmacist Calling me and going off on me was the final straw!Do not bother getting your prescription filled here!!
This was the most painful experience of my life. I went to get a a COVID test and they took about 50 minutes to do it. It was so simple and the lady couldn’t get anything right. The other time i got a test it took 15 minutes. THIS IS CRAZY.
They have a few good people there, but many go out of their way to make you miserable. They have made mistakes with my prescriptions on more than 1 occasion, then they act like it’s my fault. They say just 5-10 minutes and it’s always over triple the wait, I’m taking my business elsewhere !
I called to ask about the rapid COVID test without insurance, how much I need to pay in store etc. The old gentle(?)man at the pharmacy repeatedly told me, after I said EVERY sentence, that ALL the information is online (of course I checked online before calling you) and NOBODY in the store would be able to answer my question. I guess that is not surprised because NOBODY is trying to help out.
4 hours to give me the pain killer prescription for my son who had a surgery today.... How is possible that....
Kevin at the minute clinic is very helpful.
AVOID LOCATION......Awful experience with the minute clinic/ covid testing. I sat in a parking lot (as instructed by them) for over an hour past my appointment time, no one came out to advise that they were over-booked or running behind until an hour had passed. Multiple people were waiting wondering what was going on, terrible customer experience. When you try to call it takes you straight to the pharmacy or front store, No one had any information and they said there was no phone number for the minute clinic other than the call center. Awful.
If I could leave zero stars I would. They gave my son an appointment to get a Covid-19 test, then said they didnt have it on record after we showed up. They are the ones to make the mistake, but we had to pay for their incompetence. I will never step foot in this establishment again.
Gross no toilet paper in the bathroom and it smells disgusting. Also there is no febreze to spray the bathroom to make it smell good. That is no keeping the bathroom clean, there is a baby changing table in the bathroom.
DON’T GO HERE!! You’re literally risking your health. I’ve seen other reviews saying the same exact thing. They texted me that my prescriptions were ready. I showed up and not only was it not filled, they had absolutely none in stock. I take anti epilepsy medications. I could have a seizure after one missed dose. None of the employees cared, were empathetic or tried to help. This is a very irresponsible way to practice. I worked at Walgreens and this would never happen. This might be the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I have chronic illnesses. Ive been to several different pharmacies a few hundred times for medications over the past 26 years. This is dangerous and careless. I believe management is doing terribly as well. DON’T RISK GOING HERE.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Worst Pharmacy in CVS I have been to. First off, this CVS has uninformed employees who do not know how to communicate. Secondly, This is my 3rd attempt and 2nd day coming in and they still don’t have my prescription ready I’ve been waiting for so long. I also had to call my insurance company for them even when they had the correct information about my insurance.. they seemed too lazy to figure out the reason why my correct information was not going through their computer. If someone needs medication in a certain time they need to reconsider this place as a go to, very unprofessional. Walmart has better service. I will be buying my prescriptions elsewhere that is professional and kind. Also a side note.. cvs always has the worst products in their stores, very cheap.
Horrible pharmacy. 4 prescriptions in a row they couldnt manage to get right. And they were the exact same 4! A grocery store pharmacy is better run and one of the pharmacists at this CVS even admitted that a grocery store pharmacy uses a better supplier. Apparently this actual pharmacy doesnt want to spend the little extra money or time to have decent supplies OR customer service!!!
Hubby had kidneys stones. Dropped off prescription. Was processed very fast. Was told it would be ready in about 15 mins. Went next door to grocery store while prescription was being filled. Received text in less than promised 15 min time that the order was ready. Both associates very friendly, professional and empathetic. CVS is a go to store for many necessities and will now be the only go to for our prescriptions.
KEM should be nice, helpful and flexible.
This might quite possibly be the worst pharmacy in the entire world. We were notified our script was ready for pick-up on an important medication, and update n pick-up... The script was not ready, nor did they have it in stock. Not to mention, they had no clue when they would actually have it.CVS corporate, this location is bad and putting people at risk. You should step in and figure out how to fix it before someone gets hurt.
Rita and Nick are very helpful and they know their store and products!
This had to be one of the worst experiences. The pharmacist was so rude! They told me to come to the pharmacy because my prescription was ready so I did. And apparently I was standing in the wrong place and ended up getting berated by the pharmacist for being in the wrong location and then laughed at by the tech. I will never be back!
Associates there have no idea what customer service is. I get better customer service than Walmart and that says a lot tbh. There always seems to be more than 2 cashier workers but always seem to have 1 cashier open only. Ive been going to this place for almost 10 years now and never had a worst time but since August 23, 2018, ive stopped going. They were so rude about my CVS membership wasnt acting right so i made a new account. The discounts still didnt work even tho they are buy 1 get 2nd 50% off. I said if its too much trouble i can take my business else where. The manager at that time looked me in the face and said okay bye in front of other customers. I was so dumbfounded i said my farewell and left without being rude back. Went to Walmart after haha and even tho they have long lines, bad customer service in general, and busy all the time, id still much rather shop there than the Poway CVS. That experience i had with not one but two employees within a few minutes before i decided to finally leave. If you want to contact me in any way about this please do through gmail.
This is the worst CVS I have ever been in. I go in there often and the staff has been nothing but rude to me everytime I go in there besides one employee. They are impatient and huffy when you ask them questions. They also tend to sell expired food. I would NOT recommending shopping here at all.
Good sized store.
I went in and got a TB test....haha you cant get it unless you pay first...$28.00 and then you have to go back to get it read and pay another$28.00 you cant get either done unless you pay first....so after paying both times....they send a bill to my house...I hate lying deceitful companies...and I will expose every evil deed done that I am aware of....its time for some accountability in companies...they didnt even rate 1 star if you ask me
Bad C.S. at the Pharmacy on the phone. Kept me on hold for 20 mins and I dialed through another phone, answered me in 5 mins. I mentioned that I need to hang up my other phone on which you have kept me on hold for 20 mins. Person on the phone replies me HURRY - UP....
The worst service at pharmacy and 15 min to wait after all
I had to get an emergency prescription filled. Not only were they helpful in every way possible, they filled my prescription faster than how long they said it would take.
Service is real bad they text you that you have refills ready for pick up you go to the place and they make you wait and the pharmacist have a real bad attitude bad for cvs
Keep it up!!
Minute clinic does not respect appointment time
Pharmacy is ery nice to me
