The baker at Vons did an amazing job on my daughters horse cake! She helped me transform the stock photo into our dream cake! She was friendly, helpful and showed that she cared about my special requests.

Check out is efficient and the store is easy to move throughout for a quick purchase. Frozen aisle never seems to have the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor of Ben and Jerrys ice cream in stock. Have my suspicions that theres supply out back, but employees dont have the desire to check. Overall experience 3/5.

So sad that this Vons is now closed. Came in during their closing down sale and most of the items were 50% off. Made out like a bandit and was happy to find out that all the staff got relocated to different stores and their jobs were not lost.

Good groceries, but not the best prices. Their sale prices are good, but I hate having to use both the stupid card and their online coupons that you have to load to your card...

Vons is a great neighborhood store. Always the freshest veggies and fruits. I just love their deli. They make delicious deli sandwiches.

We shop in Ramona but today in Poway and Vons is on the way. It was clean and stacked with just about any time you would need. We picked up some cheeses, cracker, summer sausage and other things. Stop by, the shopping is great.

This is another great store to do your regular shopping. Produce is good and they have a good variety. Their bakery and deli offerings are also good choices. Their prices are good but may not be the lowest. But the ease of access and proximity make the higher prices reasonable

This is an excellent store, but is a little smaller than some others. It, therefore, has less shelf space and just a few less product choices. It certainly has friendly and helpful employees.

UPDATE: Permanently closed.Used to be a pretty good place, but intense competition in the neighborhood has driven it down quite a bit. With the new Chic-Fil-A opening, I hope Vons management does something to attract and keep the flood of potential customers that will be only 500 feet away. Its a golden opportunity for them to bump up the customer count.

This Vons isnt the largest around but it is clean and organized and Ive never been without getting everything I needed. The employees have always been nice and helpful. Their prices are as you would expect. You can save a few bucks if you are a member of Vons club. Plenty of free parking. Its my go to grocery store when Im in Poway.

Conveniently located in a popular strip mall in the heart of Poway. Easily accessible and visible from Poway Road. This is a large store with many items to choose from and there is plenty of parking.

Atmosphere, a change from the flooding overhead florescent drone. An actual grocery store not a place to get tools, computers and food. Its always in and out quickly, with the card youll get lots of great savings!

Different lay out than my local vons. It took some work to find a few things but seemed like a good store. They had customer appreciation going on and we got some free cookies.

Always more expensive than other grocery stores unless you use their member card and gas rewards. However, this particular location has a recycling center behind the store that has good prices for bottles, cans, glass, etc. and their partnership with Vons lets you turn in your recyclables and then exchange a slip of paper from them for instant cash from Vons.

Been shopping here for years. This is a well-organized, clean supermarket. I eat organic whenever possible, and the organic produce is plentiful and priced more reasonably and of a much better quality than Sprouts, which is just around the corner in the same shopping mall. They are quick to open a new register if there are more than 3 people waiting in a single line. I highly recommend this supermarket.

Your Telephone customer service sucks. I called to have you check stock because the better Vons on Scripps was out of stock for what I was looking for. You guys never came back to the phone before I ended up at the store. Its 8:40 in the morning, with about three customers in the store and you cant check stock?! You have more employees standing in the corner by the bakery giggling, than you did customers and you cant check stock.

They are suppose to be able to provide money orders, however they only have v one person trained on them who called in sick, so on a Saturday i am unable to get help here. And besides that, the guy up front was crazy rude when I asked for a money order. Vons is the worst if you need any help as a customer, and this is just more proof.

This is a very small Vons. It should probably be a Pavillions but they dont do that anymore. For the basics, its fine but they tend to run out of sale items quickly. Very good beer and liquor selection but the Scripps Poway Pkwy store is much better. Otherwise its a clean store with friendly staff, most particularly the meat department manager.

European butter,Coffee and Brownies saved money,without even havin to worry my lil head with Crownie! lol

Just because there arent any cars in the parking lot doesnt mean that they are closed. Meaning that when my girl and I went grocery shopping at 9:00pm and yne lot was a ghost town.

I have just experience the worts costumer service at Vons, I do understand about your policy, but if is a policy all your employees should know about it and do their job without manager asking from register to register if I bought (paid) for the fruit that my daughter was taking out from the grocery bag. I was felt so untrusted as a costumer and when I reach out to the manager Joshua, he just simple did not care and said that is team work.... instead of him listen to my complain and make me feel care as a costumer, he just did not even care.. first tome I come here and will never come back, I would better rather to drive couple miles and feel happy and value at VONS in Scripps Poway!

Store is clean. Its an older store with not enough employees, there is always a wait every time I go, wait for the deli, wait for the register...they made a mistake, I had to wait for them to handle it.

Usually more expensive when compared to Walmart or Smart n Final. But the smell from pastries, cakes and other freshly baked items in Vons has to be the best thing with Vons!

Nice vons but not very big at all. Sometimes its unfortunate that they are as small as they are bevause they wont have anything that the vons on scripps poway parkway will. Good service but I usually shop at the scripps poway parkway location.

I am a local resident and I have to say that this particular Vons store is the most inefficient and slow store that I have ever seen in my life. I have been in the store at different parts of the day and night, on different days of the week and it is ALWAYS under staffed. Most of the time there is only one register open, and I have never seen more than two registers open. The lines are long as a result, and yet nothing is done to remedy the situation. I go there for a particular product that I have difficulty finding in other stores, so, I guess you could say that I go there for convenience,,,, but it is never convenient. I am hoping to find somewhere else to go. I have had it.
