Bought a 2015 CBR1000RR at a steal. The service Ive received was top notch and I definitely felt like I mattered as a customer. Unfortunately, that bike was stolen a few months afterward. I was devastated because that was a milestone purchase for myself. After insurance paid for the bike and then some because I got such a good deal on the bike, I went back to Poway Powersports. I told Dave what happened and I left with a brand new 2017 CBR1000RR that day. The second purchase was also a fantastic deal and I felt just as good about the new bike purchase as I did the last. The price is right, theres no B.S., and I will continue to be a patron of Poway Powersports any time I want another bike. The service is great and theyll get your bike up and running asap. I have always had a good experience even if Im window shopping.

It is always the people that make the place! So, I go in to rate a retail place by, would I hire him or her? Looking at scooters for my much better mirror reflection. Talked with Allen. No, he doesnt own the place. But he was pretty good, actually really good. Personable, knowledgeable and actually likes his work. Heard him on the phone with a ...do you have call.. & he nailed it. Got the name, phone #, purpose of call while he wrote it down on a posit note. Impressive. When 20+ places sell the exact same thing and $$$ is identical you have to evaluate it by less tangible things. Allen...A+ (well done), is the place clean (yup), does everyone look busy (yup), do they talk to each other as a team (yup), is there an inventory (yup), are other customers angry/annoyed (nope), did my online reviews due diligence equal my actual experience (yup).So why 4 stars not 5. Needed to give them somewhere to grow to make my customer experience even better. If you are in the market for the brands they sell, I would travel to Poway at this place to buy it. And if you are lucky, Allen will be your sherpa.

Ive been riding for over 50 years and have bought lots of new bikes, and Poway Powersports is by far the best buying experience I have ever had. Why? First of all, the price was by far the lowest with no dealer set-up fees and no added dealer mark-up. The other Honda dealer I contacted wanted $1300.00 more for the same bike that I bought from PP. Also, the sales staff was professional and friendly as were the parts department guys. I met the owner, Dave, and he is a TRUE motorcycle enthusiast and that shows everywhere at this dealership. I dont usually take the time to write a review but I felt compelled to do so because of the exemplary service and integrity that I experienced. In my opinion, there is no better choice than Poway Powersports.

Purchased a 2021 pioneer 1000-5. Trailerd back to Bullhead City, the machine overheated within a few miles. The guys at Poway didnt leave me hanging, Melo and his mechanic showed up here a few days later to assess its problem. For anyone looking to buy a bike, I cant recommend this place enough. I worked with the owner Dave and Whitney, from finance, to get my sale completed. Dave is the definition of straight shooter. I live in the city of Orange, and had to drive to Poway to pick up the bike. Even with the traffic and my round trip drive, my purchase was still the fastest experience Ive ever had when buying a motorcycle from a dealer. After getting a financing app completed over the phone/internet, the bike was waiting for me the very next day. Whitney got us through the contract paperwork and out the door in no more than 15 minutes. I got the price I wanted, and there was no BS haggling, and absolutely no dealer mark up to fight against. This dealer fully followed through on any claims and offers they made. Dont waste their time, and they wont waste yours. I would say if this place has what your looking for in stock, you definitely want to give them a call.

This was my first time purchasing a brand new bike and the commute from LA (100) miles was well worth it. When I called I spoke with Melo . Then I dealt with Whitney. Just purchased a 2020 KTM Duke 390 from here. Great experience with my sales rep Tony as well as their finance guru Whitney. They were able to work out a great deal for me. I felt no pressure to make a purchase and Tony was very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had and even let me know that he was there if I have any questions in the future. I just bought a bike here yesterday, and I couldnt be happier. The whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Everyone from Dave, to Ryan, to Lilly were informative, friendly, and helpful. Dave worked with me on the actual purchase negotiations. He was super responsive and very knowledgeable. He was not pushy, and I feel good about the final price we agreed upon. Ryan in the parts and accessories department helped me find the gear I needed, and again he was very knowledgeable. (If youre not sure which one is Ryan, he said that hes the good looking one.) At the end of the process I was a little pressed for time, and Dave along with Lilly in the finance department worked quickly to take care of me. I would recommend Poway Powersports to anyone. I was not surprised to find out that most of the people in all of the different areas of the operation were industry veterans. You can tell that you are dealing with professionals. This is not a fly by night operation.

I came into Poway Power Sports a few times before deciding to buy a 2018 KTM 500 EXC-F from them. I worked with Dustin who was great. He was patient and gave me a lot of his time. He was very knowledgeable about the brand. He answered the questions I had about the different models and ultimately helped me decide on the 500. Dustin went over the bike when I picked it up and answered service questions I had.The customer service was the reason I bought from Poway Power Sports. They also had the best price of the three dealers I called which was a nice bonus. On top of having the best price, I was given a deal on the aftermarket parts and riding gear. To top it off, Melo gave me a deal to good to pass up on a Switch Hauler so I could transport my bike on the back of my van. I cant say enough good things about my experience here and will refer my friends and continue to do business with them.

Dave is the best salesman I ever had! He is just the coolest guy ever that really knows pretty much everything about motorcycles. Dave will tell you the truth, he is fast, and he will not waste your time (which is the opposite of the experience I had at three other dealerships this past week so I walked away). Dave really knows his craft and he even advised me on financing. He called Honda Financial for me and worked some magic. I walked out with a mega, steal of a deal on a new CBR1000RR with 0.7 miles on it, complete with a Yoshimura carbon fiber tip and a titanium sleeve for a fraction of the price. I just walked in here and literally got ignored by the lazy POS sitting behind the counter. Note to you: When a customer comes into your store who is ready to spend thousands greet them. If you are with another customer say, Excuse me sir. Ill be right with you when Im done with this customer.You just cost the business thousands of dollars with your attitude that Im someone not even worth saying hello too upon entry into your store. I would recommend changing this approach to customer service. I will take my business elsewhere. Good luck

I gave 2 other dealerships the opportunity to beat their pricing and neither called me back...Kenton who delivered the bike made sure all my questions were answered and was very helpful. Best experience I have had buying a bike. The general feel at the dealership is “make yourself at home” as was told to me by the guy on the Honda side while I checked out some other bikes. Considering there is a pandemic taking place and I am sure they have challenges like everyone else, you would never have guessed it. I will be back.

I had a good experience purchasing my new street bike from Nate at poway powersports. I was a bit discouraged since they were selling a “honda demo bike” with 3,200 miles on it as NEW without any paperwork on maintenance for those miles. Nate reassured me there wouldn’t be any mechanical issues, so far so good... Fingers crossed. But you can’t really beat the lack of dealer fees here.I’m rating 4 stars because the staff was not abiding by california state mandated mask requirements, not a single staff member wore a mask. I understand that after 7 months, it’s easy to assume this whole pandemic is over. Unfortunately the harsh reality is that it is not. The very least your staff could do is wear masks. I think it’s important for potential future customers to know this information prior to coming here incase they are high risk.The gear selection is pretty limited and the gear section of the buildings had a strong odor of marijuana each time we visited.

I bought a used Victory Cross Country from them, and it was a great experience. They sell new Hondas and KTMs. They are a new dealership, but the employees are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and honest. Yes, I said honest! They have low prices and dont do the crazy price markups (like $1750 for freight/prep at Temecula Motorsports). It was refreshing to not deal with the high pressure salesmen you get at other dealerships. They even gave me a fair price for my trade in. This is what the experience of buying a motorcycle should feel like. Thanks guys!

I am Poway resident, and like to support our local businesses whenever possible. I occasionally need parts my vehicles, and have made a few purchases over the last couple of years. I and others could easily purchase everything on-line and save money. My most recent visit was a couple of weeks ago. There were two guys working behind the counter with no masks. Additionally, there are no partitions of any sort in the counter area. Regardless of what anyones personal beliefs are about Covid-19 and public health, basic respect for your customers demands that facial coverings should be worn at all times. I purchased a KTM SuperDuke through Poway Powersports late last week, and it was by far the best experience Ive had with a dealership. I didnt have to sit there for hours and haggle with people, and I got what I wanted, for the price it was advertised for. Initially I showed up on a time crunch (not knowing I was approved minutes before showing up) and these guys did everything they could to try to get me what I wanted in the short amount of time. I later decided to cancel my appointment as it wasnt the dealerships fault for my poor planning. After finding that out, they took the time to go over everything with me, and it was extremely reassuring that a number of the people working there, came up to me saying they owned a SuperDuke and I would never regret it. All around, I will be recommending this dealership to anyone that I know in the market, as well as being a long time customer myself.Thanks Guys!

I bought a bike here a while back and I can say that it was a great experience. Dave took care of me in finding a good bike for what my needs were and made the whole buying experience fast and easy. They have a great selection of bikes, quads, scooter, and even electric bicycles and were willing to go the extra mile to obtain bikes that arent on their showroom floor if needed. I have been going to them for all my needs for a bit now and its allways a chill experience. Knowledgeable and friendly, they had what I needed and i was in and out quick.

After I bought a 2015 SuperDuke at KTM Murrieta, they closed down shortly after so I needed a new place that could officially service my bike (many places wont as they arent authorized, certified and all that.) I took it here as it was still the closest place I felt I could trust to do the work proper. Ryan in service was awesome, one of the best service managers Ive ever encountered. He also helped me put together a new exhaust I wanted for an insanely great deal and I scored a KTM jacket that was heavily marked down. Boris talked to me after about the work and showed me some tips and tricks and mods on the bike. They communicated continually throughout the service process and did everything they could to keep costs down (and this was mostly all on just on a standard tune expected mileage tune up.) Im serious when I say the bike runs at least 50% better as when I brought it in. I now hear RJ from the former KTM in Ramona works here now and Ive known him for years - super awesome guy, so now ( a year later) my bike needs another service theres no doubt Im taking it here (even though I just discovered KTM Murrieta has reopened.) Im sure Ill have another great experience.

I dont always take the time to write reviews but I felt compelled this time because I had polar opposite experiences yesterday when out shopping for a new bike and these guys deserve some big kudos. LADIES, if any of you have ever shopped for a new vehicle on your own, you can feel me when I say its normally a nightmare experience. Pushy sales dudes trying to take extra advantage and very little respect when we want to take time to think. This was NOT my experience here. Dustin was who helped me, and he answered all my questions and then some, ran some basic numbers on the bike I was interested in and came back with a great offer. He didnt try to upsell something I didnt want and most importantly: he RESPECTED me and my choice to want to shop around just a bit more because they were the first store I went to. He of course tried to secure a price that would make a sale right then and there, but when I wanted to head on to do more shopping I wasnt harrased with a ton of price haggling. I went to what is likely one of their biggest competitors here in town, and it was the exact opposite experience. Nice sales guy there, but then the haggling started. I said FIVE times I wanted to think about things because honestly, I was just shopping around and while I could outright buy a bike Im not in any rush. Unfortunately I was pressured every time I wanted to walk out, to buy a bike right then. A typical high pressure sales pitch that soured my bike shopping experience. I am going to head back to Poway Powersports today and do a more thorough negotiation on the bike I was interested in because, whether a sale is processed or not, my initial shopping experience with them has earned my respect. Thank you Dustin for making my shopping experience so enjoyable yesterday and for your help!

New dealership but very friendly and helpful and experienced management. Ive shopped lots of SD area motorcycle dealerships, but I bought my new bike from these guys.
