I booked a car with the car rental part if the company for my mother and have been having a problem getting back the remainder of her deposit. We extended the rental for her for 1 extra day and was told that the total was 36 dollars and some change and the drop off day was moved to Sunday. We went on Sunday and dropped the car off and I took pictures of the envelope the lady told me to put the keys in and lock the vehicle and I did that and they were closed on Monday because of a holiday. So we did everything she told us to do and she should have gotten approx 62 dollars give or take back from the deposit but still hasnt gotten it back. I called and spoke to a lady 2 times and the first time she tried to tell me we didnt pay a deposit but we did I have the paperwork from the rental, then she tried to tell me the cost for the extra day was 60 something dollars but I called when I extended it and spoke to a different lady and was told 36 something. and even if that was the case she should have still gotten 34 bucks back give or take a little. Im going today to speak to a manager of the whole store. Because I feel that my 74 year old mother is being lied to and taken advantage of. Otherwise we have never had any problems with this company they are a good company otherwise. My mother in law regularly rents from them and has never had a problem.

No one is perfect, but the true test of an organization is acknowledging when they make an error, and making the effort to make it right. They have had our vehicle fir 10 days. The car came with the Ford certified preowned warranty. We are still without a replacement car and we are constantly being told that the warranty company wants more information. I was just informed that the car engine has to be torn down which could cost us $850 if the warranty decides not to cover it. But the warranty company will not approve the repairs without it being torn down. Which to me seems like black mail. No parts have been ordered so no matter what the warranty company says I’m stuck with having to wait months before we can get a running car. After the car was purchased just a year and a half ago.

I also have a recall thats showing on my ford pass app for a door lock actuators.I dropped my truck off and Dunn called me a few days later stating thats not the problem, its not the actuators, its actually the door latch. I then asked him could they just fix the actuators problem since its a recall on it and see if that fix the issue he stated that Fords standards wouldnt allow them to do that. Have always been a Ford Truck fan. Own two F150 and one F250. Went by service department because my 2018 F250 brake lights and rear turn signals were out. Told to check back in a couple weeks. You got to be kidding. Took it somewhere else and they had me fixed and out in less than 30 minutes.

**SERVICE DEPARTMENT** I own a 2016 Ford Fusion titanium. On May 3rd 2021 I took my car in for service because my check engine light came on and my number 3 spark plug had broke off in the engine. It took two (2) weeks for my car to even enter into the shop being that they were backed up with other costumers ahead of me. On May 18th 2021 Service Rep. Amanda Danford reached out to me to inform me that my car had been fixed and that it was ready to be picked up.That evening after work I went to pick my car up and I spoke with Blake and he advised that my car was ready to go and that it was fixed. The total came to be $1692.11, I paid cash and went on about my regular day. That next day I went to start my car up to head to work and while on the way to work the check engine light came BACK on. I called once I got to my office and they advised that I could bring it by as soon as I can. I left work and proceeded to take my car back to Long Lewis. It signaled that it was the same misfire. They cleared the code and told me to monitor it and that it was good to drive. That weekend the check engine light came back on and my car did not start. That Monday May 31st 2021 I called and informed them of that incident and they allowed me to bring my car to the shop on memorial day. The next day they called me and advised me that I would need a brand new engine that would cost me up to six thousand dollars to repair and that I would have to pay it. I entrusted them to fix my car the first time it went into the shop. I only drove my car because professional mechanics told me that my car was good to drive. Do not take your car here for any kind of repairs on your vehicle. They cannot be trusted!

I was so anxious purchasing my first car but Marcus made my process so easy because in my 85 years of living, I have never experienced anything like purchasing a car. Especially getting accustomed to a newer model vehicle. However, Marcus was so patient and understanding during the entire process. He also was very knowledgeable and made my experience so personal. We took our Ford Escape hybrid in, they ran the code, and said that one of the modules in the battery was bad. They didnt have any information on what module was bad or check anything else. Then, when we went to pick it up (same day), I waited for 30 minutes while they looked for the paperwork. They never found it, but still charged us $130 and gave us the same information AutoZone couldve given us for free. But even AutoZone can give you a printout of the error at the end. I would NOT recommend going here for anything.

Ive been sitting here for an hour and my truck hasnt moved an inch despite the fact that there was one vehicle in front of me. Theres absolutely nothing fast about this lube lane at all. Sign says no appointment necessary but the first thing I was asked is do you have an appointment?. No, but I can read pretty well, am I in the wrong lane? If you plan to have your oil changed here, pack a lunch. Or book a hotel room across the street. Better yet, save yourself and go to an actual quick service oil change place. Add injury to insult.... I bought this damn $90,000 truck here. The 1 vehicle in front of me is a Chevy Tahoe. Great job servicing YOUR customers Long Lewis.

My experience was beyond Acceptable! I know this review is lengthy but I was just so impressed. I had just got back from a 4 day road trip & somehow acquired a slow leak in my right front tire. I knew I was needing new tires soon but did not look forward to the inconvenience of shopping around, checking out what that particular tire distributor was going to offer such as road hazard, rotation options, convenience, financing options & the most important the customer service that comes along with maintaining my vehicle. Might I mention, my vehicle was not even purchased from this dealership! I called & requested a price on tires & was transferred to the Service Dept. A very nice, informative lady named Vickie answered the phone, asked me what I was looking for in a tire, got my tire size & within minutes, I was emailed 3 different quotes with finance information. I let her know my decision & was answered back with a phone call to set up instructions. I had mentioned to her I had a slow leak & she offered for me to stop by there on my way home & they would look at it, so I did. I pulled right into the Quick Lane service & was greeted by this young lady who was in fact, Vickie, the lady I had been conversing with, she called out to this very nice serviceman named Daryl & he suggested we put it up on the rack so he could look at my tire. There was a dark spot on my tire about the size of a silver dollar & within that spot was a chunk of rubber missing with the metal radial strips broken, he said it was unbelievable that I didnt have a blow out. Vickie said wow, that is just something & said we really dont want you driving on that tire & your tires will be here in the morning, so let me see what I can do. Well she went inside & next thing I know, she comes out with a offer of them giving me a loaner car & when I got off of work the next day, my new tires would all be on & ready to roll! Wow, just wow, I have never been so impressed by a dealership especially one where I hadnt purchased my vehicle from! I give this place both thumbs up!! Thank you!A new Customer!

These people have had my Suv in the service department for over a month! They dont know whats wrong with my car! The warranty company stated that my Suv has been in the service department way too long for the staff and tech not to know anything!!! Get a call everyday with the run around from customer service!!!!!! I would not recommend any customer having their car repaired or looked into from this location!!!! Had a reservation ion that I booked two weeks in advance. I call the day of to make sure it was ready. When I got there the lady at the desk stated I had no reservation. They also said they didn’t have the car I reserved nor did they have any cars for me to rent. Then we they get a car they give it to me on empty and the lady tells me I have to return it on full. Very rude and unprofessional. Never had this problem before!

This dealership does not operate with integrity. Do yourself a favor and find another Ford dealership to work with!

I have had various issues with the services department in the past. This last service on my truck didn’t start off very well. However, when Long Lewis Ford was able to get to my vehicle, they performed the needed services very well. The Services Department Manager talked to me when I picked up my vehicle and made a sincere effort at restitution.My last experience with Long Lewis Ford on 4/05/2021 was very disappointing. Seems like they can only program genuine, expensive Ford keys/fobs for my truck. So, a twenty minute job took over 4 plus hours. Then the people over there seem surprised when I was angry when I was making my payment. I really like Ford Trucks and I was hoping that they would do better job this time around. I guess they probably would have treated me better if I had bought my truck from them.Well, this last experience with Long Lewis Ford will not happen again. I’ll take my vehicles somewhere else for services and I will definitely not buy a vehicle from this dealership.

Excellent service. A lot of these bad reviews are for the service department, which we didnt use, but everyone we encountered was extremely nice. This place deserves more credit!

We came in and meet Justin, he took us to the truck, we drove it, he helped us make the deal, and helped us all the way through the process and “my wife says I’m very hard to please”, Justin did a great job,. In the deal on the truck we negotiated a new set of tires, another clean up, he tried his best to make me feel comfortable buying a used truck. Even though my credit wasnt the best with a little cash for down payment got approved for a certified car that has less than 25000 miles on it. Tyler James was so helpful through the entire process even coming in on his off day to close the deal. Myself and my wife went yesterday looking around at this dealership. They let my wife only test drive ONE CAR and it was a 2016 Hyundai Sonata. The Salesman BAILEY MANN tried to throw her in this particular car only. It took FOREVER to get an answer and STILL DO NOT have an answer. Took my car to the service center on Thursday. I had an appointment. Courtney email me with my appointment confirmation two days before. I went Thursday morning to drop off my car and the customer service was not pleasant when I arrived. I had to call several times Thursday morning for updates on my vehicle, no one thought to call me to let me know the status of mu car. I called Friday morning about 10am and finally spoke to Chris in the service department he is the guy that was suppose to check me in on Thursday morning but he was late so another guy checked me in. Chris told me he was going to call me today to let me know the status on my car. Courtney called at 3pm on Friday and was letting me know that no diagnosis have been performed on my car, they were still doing the safety recalls. I appreciated her phone call and I told her about the incident on yesterday how no one called to give me updates and I asked about getting a rental car and she told me I would need to speak to Chris about the rental car and that they had no way of contacting me (I left my number when I made the appointment and also my email address). Chris got to the phone he is no help what so ever I would have had a better customer service experience going to McDonalds . I asked him would I be able to get a rental car and he tells me no they have no rental cars and it would be Tuesday until theyre able to look at my car. I let Chris know this is the reason why I made an appointment and this is the reason if he wouldve called me i couldve prepared myself for the weekend trying to get transportation so I can get to work.Everyone says it is best to deal with local businesses but with customer service like this I would rather drive to Birmingham.Update: I got a phone call from Mrs. Vicky at Long Lewis dealership and she helped me with my issue. She also was very friendly, helpful and apologized. Mrs. Vicky put me in a rental car so I can have transportation to get to my weekend job.

First time, 4 hours for 30 minutes basic service. Second time, get recall done, 9 1/2 hours. Third time they had to come pick up my vehicle and bring it to the shop to fix the mess up on their repair. Told me they would drop off a rental bring my truck back and pick up the rental, I had to take the rental to them and pick up my own truck. I will never set foot in their place ever again. Ill drive the extra miles to Montgomery to get any work done.

I recently bought a 2019 Ford Ecosport new from here and have been having troubles with the rotors rusting and a defect in the tag spacing. The service manager was very helpful in helping me to get these issues resolved. I am now able to get my tag plate fixed and new rotors put on my car. After 2.5 months, 4 different dealerships, and numerous texts and emails, they were the ones that finally made a deal happen with the best price on the truck and best trade-in value on my Wrangler. We found what we wanted online at Long-Lewis which was approximately 80 miles from our home. From our first online contact, it was a good experience. Super responsive and accommodating after the original salesman I worked with departed without notice and I was left wondering why the Mitsubishi I had negotiated was never delivered. But another salesman stepped in a week later, honored the original deal, and Im now a happy owner of a new car delivered to my home. Did all the negotiations via email and the phone. They answered all of my questions thoroughly. Price couldnt be beat and this was one of the few dealerships in the area thats actually in the business of selling cars to serious buyers and NOT playing games!

They Want your car! - until your recall is complete. I had to endure 8 months of rental vehicles while awaiting my airbag recall. During that time, I received emails from them telling me how much they wanted to buy my car. I told them they could look at it and give me a price when I brought it in for the airbag fix. Well, when the airbag part finally arrived, I brought the car in for the repair, but they didnt bother to look at the car. I now want to go ahead and sell it (now that I finally can, since the airbag is fixed), and emailed them about having them give me a quote. They never even emailed me back. I get it... they really only wanted to buy my car when it was costing them money because they had to keep loaning me rentals. So, now that the airbag is fixed, they dont really want it, and their We Want Your Car! emails were disingenuous apart from wanting to no longer having to loan me their cars. Ill get more selling the car to a private party anyway, so I wouldnt even have been annoyed enough to leave a negative post if they would have even just emailed me back and told me they werent interested. But seriously? You dont even email a guy back? Quite the slap in the face. Im even in the market for a new car once I sell the Fusion, but I obviously wont be doing business with a place that only pretends to care about you when they can get something out of you. Again, just even have the decency to email me back and say youre no longer interested in buying the car, but dont just flat ignore someone. Thats rude, and bad business.

What a huge difference from dealing the the great, small, hometown family feeling you get from buying a Honda from the Long Lewis Selma location .The experience from trying to buy a Ford product here was totally different and not in a good way. This dealership is your typical big, impersonal, fast talking dealership you can find anywhere in the US with kind of cocky, full of themselves sales people. We will not be buying any car from this location in the future. We are very disappointed in the usual evasive sales tactics and will probably be buying from Honda or Mazda in the new year.

Bought my 2016 F150 in for a warranty issue. Dropped the truck off at 7:00 am. Last thing I said to the service rep was do you guys have time to change the oil, filter and rotate the tires? He responded, yes no problem. I even laid the locking lug nut tool in the console before leaving.Get the call around 1:00 pm, my truck is ready. I go in to get the truck, the rep said, youre ready to go. Expecting to pay for the oil and tire rotation I asked if they did it. He, shook he head and said, man Im sorry, I totally forgot to tell them cause I had already made the ticket out before you asked if we could do it. He then asked if I wanted to do it then which was appreciated but my ride had already left and I wasnt about to spend the rest of the afternoon waiting on something that should have already been completed during the six hours it sat on their lot.This is totally unacceptable and just another bad experience Ive encountered when dealing with the service department and any warranty work asked to be performed. Each time Ive brought this truck in for anything, the service department has scratched or scuffed the outside and inside of the truck.Ive purchased 2 trucks from this dealership and expect better service.Had to have a headliner replaced earlier this year and that turned out to be a month long process and a total nightmare.This is the last time I buy from the dealership or have any service work performed there. And rest assured, if asked by anyone I will definitely refer them anywhere but Long Lewis. Totally disgusted with this dealership.

Gilmore ford is absolutely the best dealer in the river region as far as Im concerned. I recently purchased a 2014 Mustang GT from them I have done business with them in the past as far as used cars and maintenance and such but this was my first experience with the new car department. the sales staff at Gilmore Ford is absolutely the best period. they noticed me immediately and greeted me in a very professional manner. my sales person Jimmy Lowe was straight forward and honest about every aspect of the purchasing process and everything went smoothly. when everything was said and done I couldnt have been happier with the purchase of my 2014 Deep Impact Blue Mustang GT probably the best decision I have ever made. Two weeks prior we had been a part of a bait and switch on a brand new car for my husband in our local town 2 hours south. Lee OBrien and the amazing finance department were able to get us out of that awful deal and put my husband in a GORGEOUS Mitsubishi Lancer that we had brought up from the Montgomery location. We are both over-joyed by the Long Lewis customer service that was displayed to us. My husband is now in a fantastic car with no regrets other than if we knew this store existed we would have never even stopped at our local store (that continues to be a nightmare on our other new car we bought only 2 days prior to my husbands bad deal) and Long Lewis would have sold us two new Mitsubishis and we would have been MUCH happier than the nightmare we were and are living. I cannot recommend them enough!!!
