I like Orvis best when there’s sales. Orvis is a particular style, for particular people, almost the go to store for Princeton faculty, and that’s not a bad thing. Allot of dynamic colors, but limited styles. The customer service at this particular location is outstanding. There is allot of pride in keeping this store beautiful to the eye, with an exceptional shopping experience.

Got my Orvis helios 3f and lots of other things here over time. Employees are nice and knowledgeable high quality products. Overall great place.

Hands down - the staff here are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I only visit this store once or twice a year to get birthday/holiday gifts for my husband, and they are consistently so helpful and kind every single time. My most recent experience was with Steve and Bruce. They helped me with an order I placed online for pick up but then failed to pick up in time. Nonetheless, there was no hesitation in their willingness to find my item as soon as I got there. I left the store feeling great! True customer service is at Orvis of Princeton for sure!

Really enjoy my semiannual visits here. Like their clothing line. Reasonably priced. If not in stock, they will have it delivered to your home. Dropped my husband in the fishing department. This kept him busy. Try it.

Tucked away in the Princeton shopping center a little fly fishing gem great knowledgeable staff very friendly the fly tying supplies covered the need for the current season. price point was fair for in store retail overall a very enjoyable experience

I shop at the Orvis-Princeton Store frequently, and have always had a positive experience due to their friendly, helpful sales staff. From sending rods in for repair, helping with fishing equipment/clothing selections for myself & my family, to product returns -- Bruce, Jeanine, Rick, Simone, and John have always been there to help me. The Orvis Company has always been known for their outstanding customer service. The Orvis-Princeton store staff extends that customer service!

Excellent customer service. Sue was great over the phone and Jeannie assisted in the purchase of the Riverton Leather Jacket. Very friendly and made the exchange process so easy. Great store !!

Great store. Marsha helped me buy a Barbour jacket last year. I love wearing it so much that today we stopped in and she helped me buy a lining for it so I can wear it all winter.

Expensive, but great quality and a distinctive style. The store is well laid out and a pleasure to browse in. There are usually good sale items.

Poor customer service. Wanted to use the restroom and this lady came down chasing me( There are no signs that the restroom is off limits for customers) as if I was a shoplifter. Very rude and shocking experience.Good selection of Barbour jackets.Orvis clothing quality has good down overall in recent years.Bought an expensive leather briefcase and zipper broke in one day.Trouser shrank in one wash.Robert and Simone who work there are always attentive and courteous.

Great customer service. Bruce (fly fishing pro) was full of helpful advice, and really providing me in the direction based on my needs. Will be visiting again soon!

I better land some fish on these fancy flies, is all I can say. I get the sense that Im out of my tax bracket when I come here. Also, its more of an overpriced clothing store if Im being honest.
