My wife called yesterday to make an appointment for an Oil change. She was told 10am tomorrow morning. I dropped the car off today and the appointment wasn’t even made, but they had her information in the computer! 12:00pm dropped the car off. I called to check on how things were around 3:30pm and the car wasn’t done yet. I come back to the shop after walking 2 miles because the bus broke down only to walk in and my car was still in the same spot where I left it. It is now the last car they’re working on before they close and on top of it they want to charge me more $$$ because the manager typed in the wrong oil type for our vehicle!!!! It is now 6:23pm and I’m still waiting!!!!! Unacceptable

Great business and people. Honestly, run poorly. Time management skills do not exist. 4 hours almost for 4 tires to be changed out and balanced. Ill give you 20 minutes per tire to remove the old and put on the new tire. They could do more work and be highly profitable if their staff wasnt so lazy and unorganized. Unfortunately I am on their time and dont care about the money they make but expect high wait times. This lady waited 2 hours for an oil change she had scheduled. Wow. Wild.

Appointment for 1pm to mount new tires and balance. Come back 530 check if my car was done and wasnt touched yet. Was told when i came in that my car is the last one going in and that it was going in, in a few minutes! 6 hrs for tire mount and balance what is the point of an appointment in the first place. Always under staffed and every time you call they instantly put you on a 10 min. hold!

They do a great job with my car. Always done on time, sometimes earlier than expected which makes it even better!! The prices are fair and staff are friendly.

Had my car serviced at the NMain in Providence, RI, shop this morning. Eric, Bryan and Daniel did a great job of getting my car serviced and spotting a couple of repairs that needed to be made and they checked with me before taking care of them. I felt completely informed of what to expect. However, when they were finished (sooner than I expected), I did get a surprise with the bill. They had forgotten to mention that they were running a special 15% OFF Discount right now! So my big surprise at the register was a pleasant one as my charge, even with the two extra services added on, was LESS than I anticipated. I highly recommend them for tires AND service. But, make sure you call to make an appointment first. Folk know theyre great and if you just show up without an appointment, theres no guarantee that youll get seen the same day.

Dear Firestone owners and employees,I want to express my deepest gratitude for the service I received today from Liam. I came with a car sensor showing a tire pressure problem. I was guessing that it was the front driver side tire, because it looked a little low to me. I stopped at 2 gas stations on North Main Street and both had “Out of service” signs above the air pump service stations.I am a 68 year old grandmother and have some back problems inevitable for people of my age so it was hard for me to bend to even check the tire pressure with my little device.I stopped at Pep Boys and they had no appointments available for today. I need to drive to Boston tomorrow and I really was not looking forward to getting stuck on the highway with a flat tire!Liam listened to my story and offered to help right away. He did not have a lift or a tech available at the time, so he himself checked and adjusted air pressure in all 4 tires ( 3 were too high and 1 was too low!) and examined the tire that was low on air for possible nails and such.After Liam’s intervention the dashboard display stopped showing a problem and Liam refused to take any money, just smiled and wished me luck with my trip. If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been doing business with Firestone for years. I recently started going to the providence location and had nothing but issues since. From extremely slow service to a lack of communication. First visit, had an appointment and it took them 20 minutes just to check me in. Today, I scheduled an appointment the day prior and was never called to be made aware that the appointment was cancelled. Drove all the way to the shop for nothing. Terrible service, will not be going back there again.

Ive had 2 alignments done here. Service is good and honest, and they generally get it done quickly but they seemed understaffed both times Ive been. One time the alignment was done quickly but it took close to 30 minutes to get my keys and check out. That said its during a pandemic and they probably have limits to how many techs or front staff they can have

Thing went very good.

Went in for a blinker light replacement, I was told my headlamp assembly had melted connections, and was unable to take a new bulb without a new $500 headlight assembly. Decided to wait before placing a parts order. when I inspected the headlights myself nothing was melted, or severely damaged. After talking to a few friends they were able to fix it without any new parts other than a bulb, as the bulb clip had simply become dislodged. Disappointed, will not be recommending this firestone to anyone. Shame because customer service is great...

My parents have always trusted their vehicles at Firestone. As I got older and had my own vehicles that needed maintenance, it was a no -brainer. The people at Firestone take care of me and my cars.

Call the day ahead for a front end alignment appointment at 1:00 p.m. the next day showed up at 12:45 went inside checked in and gave the guy my keys I sat in the lobby and waited until 1:37 when they finally pulled my car in. They pulled my car out of the garage at 2: 20 and parked it I sat there staring at my car until 2:37 when the guy yelled at my vehicle was finished. The work that they did was great The alignment was perfect, but the waiting and miscommunication between garage and front desk is atrocious I dont understand the point of making an appointment if Im going to sit there another 40 minutes after my so-called appointment

Going back for BMW rubber and alignment. Solid reputation, last alignment was deadnuts (literally checked it myself). In and out no hassle deal. The Transforce ATs on my GMC have made my decision.

They said they couldn’t find my car cause it was “inbetween things” it was in the parking lot between two yellow lines.

Had a set of tires installed here. Theyre too busy hustling you for a $16 light bulb than paying attention to the job at hand. Apparently the tpms service doesnt actually involve doing anything to the tpms sensors or checking for their functionality. You return a customers car and none of the tpms sensors work and your completely unaware...but that $16 license plate bulb. Super important. Dont take your car here unless your just looking to get taken advantage of, theyre not concerned with the job theyre getting paid to do. Just how many other little things they can run the bill up with. Ill never walk into this one or another Firestone ever again.

During an inspection they tried to convince my wife that the calipers were leaking, then when I showed up they magically determined that it was lubricant I placed on the calipers when I replaced the brakes. Shame on you all for trying to take advantage of someone.

They checked my flat tire for free and quoted me for new tires.

.First and last I had a 7 am inspection appointment and I was waiting in the parking lot to find out that they are temporarily closed!No courtesy call? I should have paid attention to the awful review and service at this place.I would not recommend to anyone .

Ive only owned my current car so I have very little knowledge and experience. I was helped by Paulo(not sure about spelling) and he explained what needed to be done and why in a way I could understand. He worked with me to get me what I needed without killing my budget. Very understanding staff which I was so thankful for because I have incredible anxiety about car repairs. I originally decided on this shop because they are open past 5PM and I will definitely be telling everyone what great customer service they have. Thank you!

Have dealt with these nice people for several years but will no longer be using them for car needs. Have regularly been given conflicting information, prices always far more than initial estimates.

**DON’T EVER BUY A CAR BATTERY FROM THEM***I went to have my battery checked that I bought there and they installed for me about 2 weeks right before my 2 year covered warranty was going to expire I told them I was having issues with the battery dying out completelya few times they charged me a service fee to check the battery and do a maintenance check which they told me I had to do they checked the battery and advised me it was fine, mind you I never saw them test the battery in front of me. My battery died again TODAY I was told I had to make an appointment to have my battery checked that it maybe a few hours, I brought the battery to AUTOZONE myself they told me the battery was no good, Highly disappointed in the inconvenience and customer service I received, I went back to them and told them my battery was no good and received 45% discount on a new one when I knew my battery was not good 2 months ago they made me go into the warranty where I would have to pay more money for another battery instead of giving me a new one when I really needed it not when it was convenient for there pockets ***MORAL OF THE STORY I DON’T TRUST THESE PEOPLE DO NOT DO BUSINESS THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY!!!!!****

The technician asked me if something else was wrong with the car, just so he wouldnt have to fix the existing issue with my vehicle (which is under warranty). Took my car in 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment. Im 99.9% sure the issue will still be happening because the lack of experience is definitely here. Dropped my car off at 8:30 this morning to have 2 tires replaced, asked that they have it back to me by 4pm today. Made an appointment and prepaid for service 2 days ago.It’s 6pm and I have called MULTIPLE TIMES with no answer. This is the only way I can think of to get in touch with Firestone since they won’t pick up. I now have no ride to pick up my vehicle and no car. I would like a call back today.

Went to Firestone with a flat, because we had free tire coverage from a previous purchase. The issue was not with the tire, but with the wheel. At pickup, the cost was $375 EXORBITANT!!!!! I was made to sign a form during checkout that said I was aware the price was raised, when there had been no discussion of prices at all during repair. And for all this, they gave me back the wheel with the same old tire on it, even though I had free tire replacement. Same thing happened to another wheel a week later, I took it to Tony at A to Z auto repair. He was able to fix the issue for less than $200! And he added in a new wheel for free when he heard what Firestone charged. Never getting work done here again. Much more satisfied with my new mechanic.

Never go to this store. I went there for inspection and they told me the control arm needed to be changed (plus lots of other recommended services, totally $1000+). I went to another service station and they said the control arm is OK and so I got the sticker! Besides, the part and labor are quite pricy.

Well ive been going to this Firestone for a long time. The guys are always super helpful and friendly. They make it hard to go elsewhere.

My own experience was great. Got there first thing in the morning. Had 2 new tires installed and the best of the used ones installed on my spare. Was on my way in about an hour.

I dropped my car at 11.30 a.m. for a schedule service at noon. Came back at 3.15 p.m. to pick it up and it wasnt ready... The answer I got was... Is not ready and wont be for another 2 hours or so... terrible! I wasnt using a walk ins service... They failed to honor my appointment. I had to reschedule the appointment. Very disappointing and disrespectful. My time is as valuable as their. I have to comeback because I bought a lifetime service for alignment, balance and rotation.

My husband needed a new battery for his car so we went to OReillys and staff was super helpful while installing the new battery my husband tripped something and it needed repair. We took the car to this place only because of their convenient hours with work. My husband was quoted over the phone $415.00 for repairs he agreed, but when we picked the car up the bill was $550.00, and guy tried to tell him we had wrong battery for the car and tried to sell him one of those. DO NOT GO HERE HAVE TO CHARGE PATRONS TO PAY FOR COMMERCIALS AND BECAUSE CHAIN SURE COMMISSION INCENTIVES ETC...STICK TO MOM AND POP SHOPS!

Traveling from MA to FL. Tire was losing air. Walked in 45min till close. I was turned away despite offering to tip anyone that had to stay late. The issue was a valve stem. A 5-10 minute fix.

I have been coming here for 6 years for service for three different vehicles totaling several thousand dollars. My most recent encounter was so negative that I will never return. I dropped off a vehicle at 7am for a simple oil change. I requested that the vehicle be ready before closing as I needed it to return to work at 7pm. The staff assured me it would be ready and 12 hours for a simple oil change would be more than sufficient. The car was not ready, I was not notified, and when I arrived just before closing at 7pm the staff was rude, unapologetic, unhelpful and abbrasive and frankly somewhat threatening. It was appalling service and particularly offensive given how long I have been coming here. Will never return and I advise everyone to take their business elsewhere.

First time here today and already calling me telling me I need 2 new front tires because it suddenly had a nail in it when I dropped it off there was no nail or a flat tire or even a tpms light on.....$400 is what they want to charge to 2 tires when I only went there for an alignment and wheel balance....they are all a scam! beware

I came in for a state inspection sticker for a new-to-RI car. I called a few hours earlier and was offered an appointment to keep my wait down. I was here maybe 45 minutes from walking in the door, getting some work done (free wifi for customers!), paying, and leaving. Everyone was very courteous, and the waiting area was very comfortable.As a followup, I came back a week later for my 15,000 mile service and the technician tried to tell me my brakes were completely covered in rust from sitting longterm and I would need to repair them. After passing inspection the previous week.

I asked for my tire to be put in the car when I found it odd that they said their was a nail in it and it could not be repaired. The crew performed not one but two hail marys to see if they could find a tire (not the whole set), becuase i had bought a whole new set in the last year from Firestone. When I asked to see the manager Eric about the tire being missing he was smug and unapalogetic. I had used Firestone many times in the past (not this location) but will not be back.

Cost was a bit on the high side but was welcomed with the expedient and professional customer service that was provided.

Bought 8 tires from them for both our cars! Scratched my new wheels and denied everything. Manager never called me back and had to chase him multiple times. Gave my car back in the middle as they couldnt get 2 lug nuts off and i had to go to pep boys, buy the right tool myself and bring it back to them!!!! Manager still told me he would call me back and never did to this day! use another location

Buy a supposedly alignment and balance service for life and now it turns out to be just the alignment. I asked the same person who sold me the service and told me it was a misunderstanding.

DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE. LOOK AT MY REVIEW AND THE REST OF THE REVIEWS.This is the horrible place of business. I came to do an oil change. They called me saying I need a new oil pan. I said no thank you cause I didnt have the funds to do it at the moment I needed to come back that weekend when I did have the funds. The employee is was rude when I told him no thank you. Saying you should do it and it will not be our fault if all your oil comes out. I come back to do the oil pan and the left my two front tire lug nuts loose! Putting my life and my familys life in danger! I caught one tire a few days after. Then a month after the other tire was missing 3 lug nuts and the last two were looses. (Firestone was the last people to deal with my tires). I came in spoke with the manager jay and he was extremely rude about the situation. I will never come back and never recommend them neither.

I subsequently took my vehicle to the dealership (who also had a licensed RI state inspector) and they looked and said there was nothing wrong with the parts mentioned by Firestone.

They are REALLY bad at giving an accurate time. I needed two tires changed and Ive been here 2 hours and counting. An hour per tire with an appointment? I dont know how that is possible beyond them not caring at all about my time.

Very rude and unprofessional service. I ran a state inspection a month ago. They told me to replace three parts: body joints, engine leak and tire alignment. Fail my inspection and give a $1500 repair suggestion. I can believe that and go to another place to inspect the same day, you know what, I got passed!I also looked thru the prices and labor fee of those parts, its 3 times more expensive than others. I would never go to any firestone store. Very bad experience. Your money you decision.

They gave me a quota of $1200 for muffler repair. I went to another auto shop for a second opinion.Guess what? A $150 job. W-T-F?In hindsight, every repair they have done, they must have overcharged me every time.Dont go to this Firestone unless you are one of those rich East Side saps or college yuppies with money to burn.

I was lie to about having a nail in my car and needing a replacement tire and how it would cost me $100, took my car to the dealership down the street (BTS tire) and they fixed the problem for free and there was no nail in my tire. Would never trust any Firestone ever again

Be there for 3 times, and I run into problems twice. They always wanted me to spend a lot of money than I actually need. They even broke a small part of my car when they did the courtesy check . I spend two and a half hours just change one tire because of that. Avoid this place forever, if you dont want your hard-earned money stolen by them.

It’s was 2:30 and they close at 7:00 and I had a nail in my tire, tire was flat and they wouldn’t even take the 10 mins to patch it, they refused so they lose a Customer and now I am writing this review so you don’t shop at this so called tire service place
