Great store. Great prices. Great customer service that guy Xavier is knowledgeable and responsive on all aspects of the smoke shop bothered him with questions and when he didint know an answer he would go out his way to look up the answer even tho I could have googled it myself.

This place is so convenient for Thayer st has everything you need. Staff is so friendly can’t wait till the hookah lounge is open. Will be a returning customer.

Various price ranges to meet your budget.Staff are super welcoming and have a strong knowledge of their products and the current market. Tobacco, CBD, hemp…all carried here. They have my business for sure.10/10 would highly recommend coming here if you need a shop that’s reliable and doesn’t over price their glass like 99% of the rest of the stores do. Thank you guys!!!

Staff were friendly and communicative, but the vape tank i bought was clearly defective and they refused to refund or exchange it (though the owner did offer to try to replace the broken part, which... Isnt helpful, I already replaced it with a spare and it broke again in less than a week). I also bought a smaller glass piece that broke and had to be purchased again less than a week later. Be careful giving this place your business, its been my experience that they sell overpriced defective junk and I wont be going back.

This place is a little too weird for me, its like the Walmart for smokeshops. Lots of overpriced junk and the guy working there was very RUDE when I asked him some questions. Hard pass for me coming here again.

11/10 experience. My man VJ sold us some goods as I believe the store was right about to close. The experience was dearly appreciated.

This place rocks. Been here a couple times and Xavier has always hooked it up. Threw in a free terp pearl after helping me pick out the best banger for my rig. When I have an issue I know I can come through and these dudes will work something out. Price is expensive but you get what you pay for, the vibes and service are worth it. Get right!

This place is fire 🔥 has everything. I went to a lot of smoke shops in the area and they don’t compare to city smoke. Prices are super low on bongs and when I went to buy my hookah they gave me a good deal when buying everything I needed for it.

If you like getting ripped off this is your place, I bought a hookah that had a crack in it and didnt notice it until I got home. I came back and they refused to replace or refund me. The employee working said I caused the damage which was impossible since I didnt even use hookah once! Employee working there when I came back also wasnt wearing a mask. Not cool

City smoke shop on Thayer st is the epitome of smoke shops in RI. This place is up to date on everything you need. Who needs to shop online when I can walk down the street and get it. Got my puffco peak there and anytime I need an atomizer they always have it for me thanks to the man Vijay always great customer service.

Really awesome store! Im so glad City Smoke Shop opened up here. Ive gone a few times so far and its the only place in Providence I would go for any smoking or vaping products and needs. The location is ideal - its right in the middle of Thayer Street and theres plenty to do in the area! Ive gotten really good deals here on glassware and other useful items - theyve got great prices so its a perfect place to shop for college students (its right by Browns campus). The inside of the store is very clean and sleek and looks cool. But my favorite part by far of the store was the incredible customer service! Every time Ive been there all the workers were really kind and friendly, but I gotta give a special shoutout to one employee named Hardik. He was incredibly helpful and really dedicated to answering all of my questions and giving me the best recommendations for the products I was looking for. He was very committed to making sure I got the most out of my experience as a customer and left with a purchase I would be happy about. And he was great to chat with too! All in all Id definitely recommend City Smoke Shop to anyone in the Providence Area and I will be sure to be back soon

Crazy new shop with Whole lot of inventory. I walked in and I was shocked at the amount of inventory and great prices. Was looking for CBD and didn’t know anything. The workers were clear in explaining what CBD is and how it’s used I felt like I got a great education along with the product. If you’re looking for a well-stocked, educated business then this is the place. I will Definitely be back!

Make sure you check how much youre paying for your stuff! They charge over 20 bucks for Vuse Alto pods and 30 bucks for a battery thats supposed to cost 99 cents, and they act like they dont know it so check the prices before swiping your card!!Edit: all the negative reviews here sound a lot more realistic than the 5 star ones, I personally havent had a negative experience but the staff there is always rude and indifferent. Theres also a really nice smoke and vape shop right on the corner beside Chipotle, its way smaller but selection is good, prices are waaay better and service there is outstanding! And theres a third one on Thayer going north which also seems really nice - so as far as location goes theres plenty of options.

Walked in with my daughter to check this place out. Overpriced and not friendly, man working there was rude and not interested in any of the questions I had about a couple products. And he kept asking my daughter questions while ignoring me, it was really weird. Im glad he was rude as once I found out the price of their cigars, outrageous. I know rent must be expensive on Thayer but I wont be coming back.

Was looking for some tobacco and saw this very large smoke shop as Im new to area. I was appalled at how poorly I was treated, I suffer from a psychical deformity and the 2 men working were laughing and joking about me while I was asking them questions. I was very offended and really upset.
