I ordered the iced coffee, chai latte, vegan peach and jalapeños bacon scone. Everything was on point. I thought the scone would be dry and hard but it was not at all. The scone and donut paired well with the drinks! I thought the doughnut would be on the firmer side, but it’s actually soft which is what I prefer more!I also liked the local artist artwork that’s displayed around the cafe. There’s a cute little children play area, too!

Their brioche donuts are excellent, my favorite was the Cherry Limeade, it was a wildcard order but Im so glad I went for it!

Placed an online order for pick-up at 1pm and didn’t realize that they closed at 1. I called on the way to see if there was any way to still pick up about 10 minutes late and they kindly brought it out to us when we arrived. The donuts were delicious and the first vegan doughnut I’ve found since developing allergies to dairy and egg almost 10 years ago!

Knead provided our wedding dessert and favors! We were able to select several flavors and donut bases to suit our partys taste. The Knead team was creative and flexible- when we suggested doughnut holes as a favor, Brit helped us getting them bagged and stamped with a custom sticker that we ordered online. Overall, the doughnut quality was excellent and the customer service was prompt and delightful. We highly recommend Knead for your dessert catering!

Love the variety of donuts offered- mostly speciality donuts. They have a few samples for you to try too. We got the passion fruit donut, green tea, donut holes and cinnamon roll donut. The passion fruit is delicious, the donut was very soft and fluffy. And it actually taste like real passion fruit... none of that fake tasting chemical. Totally recommend coming here for a sweet tooth!

Now this is a place to get donuts and coffee!My son was told by many that this place beats all others so he had to get my opinion too.If I lived in the area this would be my place of choice. The coffee was hot and delicious but the jelly donut I got was far superior than any other jelly donut on the planet. The jelly is actual jelly and not that cheap sugar gunk from a jar. I dont recall what my son got bur he also enjoyed his.The persons behind the counter were also a cut above the rest. So pleasant and happy you came in, so glad to help, so nice to see.The building its housed in is a bit out of the way but easy to find. The architecture simply beautiful. You havent experienced coffee in a comfortable friendly like this so, hurry on over and get the enjoyment I did.They also sell their coffee so pick up a package while there.

Their savory popovers and other pastries are good alternatives if youre not into donuts, and weve always had good interactions with the staff there when items sell out.

Some of the best specialty donuts there are in the Northeast. These are high-quality donuts unlike some places that just put unique toppings on an average donut. I drove an hour just to try these donuts… They were well worth the drive and exceeded my expectations.

What delectable donuts!! We tried an espresso old fashioned donut as well as a brown butter pecan. The espresso had small flecks of espresso embedded throughout the donut, giving a subtle hint of coffee flavor that reminds me of that ever winning combination of dipping a cake donut into a hot cup of joe. The brow butter pecan donut was a beautiful buttery brioche donut with a pecan and brown butter glaze, this topping is probably one of the best toppings Ive had in a donut! Will definitely be back.

Where do I begin... First of all its in the really cool building downcity Providence. The donuts look amazing and taste even better. There is no wrong choice and if you are still undecided they have taste samples. I was in Prov for 10 days and I went there 4 times (didnt judge me :)) just go there !!!

Delicious donuts with an interesting variety ranging from traditional to more exotic offerings. No long lines. Decent coffee and complimentary ice water. Clean store with plenty of space to sit. Very kid friendly. Courteous and helpful counter personnel. Free samples! The donuts are pricey however, otherwise five stars.

I’m still in shock that Providence has so many great places to get donuts and Knead is no exception. The brown butter pecan is probably one of my all time favorite donuts. It’s not overly sweet and goes perfectly with a great cup of coffee. Came here to finish up some work and the vibe was super nice. Make sure you stop by and try some donuts out!

Knead donuts need to expand out of Providence. Their dark chocolate glazed donut is the best Ive ever had! I wish I was around to try their night cruller donuts, but next time! This location has free parking while youre at the establishment, so definitely take advantage of that.

The donuts were enjoyable, and there were plenty of good options. There was no line even though it was the morning on a weekend which was good. Wasnt a big fan of the coffee, and for two donuts and a small coffee it was around 9-10 dollars. Would definitely go back.

Knead does solid flavors: their fruit flavors in particular are so bright and fresh whether in jam filling or glaze. I usually can’t decide between fruit or a sweeter treat, like Boston cream pie or brown butter pecan, and opt for one of each (hey, nothing wrong with leftovers!) Some of the best doughnuts I’ve had in a while. I always appreciate when the doughnut itself stands up to the creative toppings and fillings. We tried a brown butter brioche doughnut and an espresso old fashioned. Both super yummy. But that brown butter!! SO good. They had so many flavors I wanted to try and would love to go back if ever in the area. Cozy space too. Wasn’t too impressed by the coffee though!

My favorite Saturday morning ritual is going to KNEAD! Best donuts in Rhode Island. Their Vanilla Glazed Old Fashioned Donut is like no other I have ever tried. On a day where you need some happiness, you cannot go wrong with a Chocolate Chip Old Fashioned! Brioche style donuts are delicious as well!Lastly, BOLT coffee is my favorite and they serve it here :)

Great regular and vegan donuts! Tried a vegan one when they were sold out of the one I usually get and was very pleasantly surprised that the texture and flavor was equally as good as the regular donuts.

Knead owns the distinction of being one of the most unique and decadent doughnut places I’ve tried. Many of the donuts you’ll find are some variation of the heavy, moist, dense sour cream or “old fashioned” doughnut base. This makes for doughnuts that individually likely posses 50% or more more calories than your average doughnut shop doughnut, and are satisfying to boot.It’s difficult to report on the individual types of doughnut from Knead - their flavors and varieties shift and change - but expect all to be heavy, decadent, and, most of all, delicious.

Picked up half a dozen on Mothers Day. They brightened up a rainy day. The doughnuts (both yeast and cake) were all very fresh.The old saw is that if you really want to know if a kitchens restuarant knows what it is doing order a roast chicken. Its simple but not easy and there is no way to hide if you cant do it right. You could say the same thing for a baked good.Ive eaten a couple of the rival places around Providence and I appreciate both Kneads quality and freshness, as well as their craft. Some rivals go a bit too far afield with their creative flavors at the expense of the doughnut. Knead can get creative on occasion but they also make a really good old fashioned vanilla glazed or a deep chocolaty cake doughnut. In short, they know what they are doing and its delicious.

Nice location, good nuts, and a great asset to this neighbourhood. However, the local yummy mummy brigade treats this place like a creche where their toddlers are allowed to run wild, screaming, and giving all other customers a headache. There is actually a sweet little play area in the back and a small sign asking parents to be respectful of other customers, but these parents refuse to do it. I keep trying this place but inevitably end up leaving due to impending anxiety attacks brought on by the madness. This place should be a lot busier, but these parents are ruining this business.

I recently had my first experience with Knead Doughnuts, but I dont think it will be my last.I just moved to Providence and was looking forward to trying the local donuts and this place was the first on my list. Of course, the experience wasnt exactly complete with the COVID19 situation going, but I got the most important part out of the way, trying the donuts.I went with the vanilla brioche and the cookie milk old fashioned and I have to say I was quite happy with my selection. I have always said that old fashioned style donuts do not receive the credit they deserve and I think the variant I got here demonstrated their versatility and loveliness quite well. I should also mention that I arrived just before they closed and the donuts still tasted quite good, even if they may not have been fresh!I also got a T shirt which looks awesome. Cant wait to come back and try other donuts!

Great stuff at both Knead locations in providence (other store is on elmgrove next to the lloyd santander). Huge fan of the brioches and semi-sweet flavors. Importantly, its reliably quick to pick up. If youre reading this review, its probably much more informative to check out their instagram for daily menu options. Same case with most trend foods today.

We split one gluten free donut and had a sample of the cranberry donut. Best donut Ive ever had and it wasnt even warm. The gluten donut was light and fluffy to perfection and flavors of both donuts were interesting and delicious. We went back to buy a half dozen after lunch and they were closed, but will be back from Boston - we dont even usually eat donuts or like them, but these were so good and executed so well. (I have tried all the best donut spots in Boston area and had one bite and I was finished ; so thought I didnt like donuts until I tried this place by chance).

Get the jelly donut! I dont really like jelly donuts, but their jelly donut changed my opinion. A sweet, soft, fluffy donut filled with a tart jam that I never knew I was missing in my life.

These are by far the best donuts that I have ever had. The flavors are all done so well -- not just sugary, but actually tasting like what the names suggest -- and there is no oily taste or feel in any of the different types of donuts they offer. Plus, the coffee was great, the atmosphere was airy and relaxing. Also, a thanks to the people working the counter for being friendly, patient, and helpful.

KNEAD makes the best donuts in Providence. I think at this point Ive hit most, if not all, of the major donut spots in Rhode Island, and KNEADs cake donuts top them all. Their order-ahead option with curbside pickup is fast and convenient, and service is always great.

Absolutely delicious doughnuts, my favorite is their old fashioned (but really they are all good). We used to love going to the store most weekends but we havent eaten anything outside of our house in a few months. With their online ordering system and smooth/safe pickup process we felt safe getting some takeout doughnuts this weekend and they were so good!

Great spot. Not tons of parking on the street, so you may have to park around the corner. Donuts are delicious and creative. Its a great spot for kids. They have a play area where kids can bake donuts. I recommend it for a Sunday morning or bring with friends.
