Mike Torti has been great to work with to get us setup with propane for our standby generator. He helped answer our questions and responded to emails and phone calls within a short time. We waited several months for our generator to arrive. Once it did, Mike worked with the installers to coordinate when the techs would be out to install the tanks and complete the connections.Kent and Kyle were great technicians! They were on time, informative, explained our fuel monitor system and answered our questions since we are new propane customers. Two of the nicest techs weve met! Happy to experience the same stellar service we also receive from Santoro for our heating oil.Thank you, Santoro!
Scott Reed and his trainee Cyrus did a great job finding the problem and fixing it. There were multiple things wrong and they were able to find solutions with all of them. They even stuck around and made sure the baseboards and radiant floor heating started up and stayed on. 10 out of 10 will recommend Santoro Oil to my friends and family!
After a horrible experience with a different propane company, Santoro Oil has gone above and beyond for me. Mike Torti is highly responsive and makes sure everything is taken care of the right way. He returns calls and emails when he says he will. He also followed up after my tank was installed. The technicians, Kent and Kyle, called ahead of time and were very prompt. Ive been a Santoro heating and AC customer for over 20 years and their service gets better and better. They consistently go beyond my expectations. When we run low or out of oil, they respond right away and get us up and running quickly.We were thrilled to be able to move to them from our previous propane supplier for our standby generator so we could get the same high quality of service.I probably shouldnt mention it; but their prices for oil and propane, and their service plans are at least as good as, if not better than, the competition; particularly if you factor in the great service.

What an amazing company Santoro Oil Company is!!!My central air system didn’t seem to be functioning properly over the past weekend. As a woman in her 50th year you can imagine why!!It’s one thing to be sweating bullets all year round everywhere you go, but no way should this be happening in my own home!!I decided to google air conditioning services! Who would have thought SANTORO OIL would offer AIR CONDITIONING service! Well guess what?? They DO!!I immediately sent an email requesting just that.I received an extremely professional and pleasant response from ANGELA! My wife and i stopped by their main office today to discuss their home heating plan options as we are new to having oil as our home heating and we were thinking of becoming new customers of theirs. My wife and i are in our late 50s and have health issues, so we are strict about wearing our masks during this serious covid pandemic. As we entered Santoros main lobby, we were greeted by the nice receptionist who made sure she put her mask on. She told us to wait for Christin who would sit down with us to discuss the programs they had. Out comes Christine with no mask on. She directs us into their cafeteria where right there on the door there is a sign that states that people must wear a mask in that location. We felt disrespected as she apparently had no concern for our health.,
Had problems on 2 consecutive days with my 3.5 year old boiler. On the second day during the fierce snowstorm, Junior arrived and calmly said he would get to the fix as to why I had no heat. One and 1/2 hours later, Junior solved the problem and I was able to feel the room temperatures rise to a comfortable temp shortly there after. Been a long time customer of Santoro Oil.
Great service. My heat went out, spoke to the dispatcher instantly without being put on hold. A tech arrived within 10 minutes of my call and fixed my problem within an hour. He also fixed another minor problem without me needing to instruct him.

Had a water heater installed did not work called 24hr hotline nobody answered till the next mourning. They came next day and could not explain what happened very rude and intimidating towards me.

Jay explained everything and was very efficient. He provided a safety lesson. He worked to be sure that the new line provided the highest level of efficiency for the home as indicated by the nice blue and purple flame on the stove burners. He did a full safety check and replaced the valves or caps required on the appliances in the home to meet code. He was neat in appearance and highly qualified for the position. Santoro Oil has been our oil supply company for many years and we have been happy with their service throughout, however it is our most recent experience with Santoro that merits their superlative rating. On a cold Sunday morning our heat went off and Santoros quick response was noteworthy on a weekend. It seemed that the problem was fixed but later in the day the heat went off again and it became clear that the problem was complex and required coordination with a carpender and several days to solve. During this time Santoro technicians came daily to fill an emergency oil tank so that we had heat. The issue also required the input of several of Santoros most experience technicians; Mario, the dispatch coordinator was always available and so helpful in coordinating this and the team that completed the work. Rob, Irving and Junior did an amazing job with the final installation, they were efficient, careful, meticulous and their work was beautifully executed. Rob was called away to solve another emergency and returned after the job was finished just to check on the job and to see if we had any questions. The quality that we experienced throughout this time was not only Santoros professionalism but their care. We have so much gratitude and appreciation for all of the essential workers at Santoro who keep us warm and safe.

The Santoro company from the sales representative to the installers, to delivery men and also billing representatives, are extremely professional and gracious. The set up was done with safety in mind, looks so much better, and I am using actually less propane than I have in twenty years. I am so glad I switched to them. It was pretty impressive to see Paul take about ten seconds to determine that my lack of hot water was not caused by any problem inside my oil burner, but to a failed mixing valve outside it. It was also reassuring to see that you have hired a young woman who graduated at the top of her class from a technical institute. They were both a pleasure to deal with. We have had Santoro as our oil and maintenance company for many years. Other than oil deliveries we usually do not have any problems with our burner. Our most recent positive experience however made us realize how fortunate we are to have them as our full service provider.We all experienced extreme temperatures last winter. During the coldest period, our pipes in our bedroom addition froze. We were convinced that the original builder did not have adequate baseboard in the room. We called Santoro for an estimate on the baseboard. The serviceman assessed the situation and simply increased the water temperature on the furnace. With that he said to call if the we had anymore problems. Another company might have given us an estimate and we would have believed it was the only way we could alleviate the problem. The remainder of the winter was uneventful except for routine oil deliveries!!!We truly believe we have the most dependable and above all honest oil company servicing our home. Thank you again!!!
Paulo was was apologetic for the delay as he had several calls that day even though I had no issue with it. He was thorough in trying to determine the issue for the boiler triggering a need for a reset. He explained the work he did and also relayed a part on my unit was no longer used and put a request for a newer version. Further, I was provided a written summary of his work before he left. Definitely pleased with Santoro in comparison to the previous company I had a service contract with.
Ive been really happy with the service from Santoro Oil. I recently had Paulo out to do my annual maintenance and was really impressed by his work and how thorough he was during that process. Ive also had a really great experience any time Ive had to call them, with the front desk staff always being friendly and helpful.
We changed to Santoro approximately 2 years ago. We had the same company for 10+ years and had a rude employee come for a cleaning and we decided to leave. Our next choice was a small “local” company and turned out to be our biggest mistake. Long story for only 3 months of service but the bottom line was that they did NOT offer a service plan and said lots of companies who do... just use parts they take from other jobs.... After 4,000 of work with them in 3 months and admittedly a “part” that they took from another house to fix an emergency leak... we THANKFULLY found Santoro. From the first representative to the service team members and the billing staff... they have been gifts from God. We are so lucky to have become members of the Santoro Oil company. Their Service plan has turned out to be the best we’ve had thus far. We plan to sell our house this summer and will highly recommend Santoro to the buyers!
Over-priced, not so good customer service, and no forgiveness fees! I have saved so much time, peace of mind, and money by changing service. So sorry, but just trying to help others make an informed decision, as we all need to save where we can! Hopefully they have improved! Good luck.
Arthur was very kind and courteous. He asked to use my back door so he didnt have to carry anything dirty through my house. I was surprised but very pleased at this request. He was nice to my dogs and was very patient with their barking - he said they were being very good! After he was done, he came and knocked on my front door to give me paperwork. He told me he shut the back gate but asked me to check it so my dogs didnt escape. He was super nice and a pleasure to have work on my furnace. He was quick, polite and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. Thank You!

We have been a Santoro Oil customer for over 15years. During that time, I have received caring and courteous service every time we have called. They are extremely knowledgeable of even old boilers like the one I used to have. When the boiler finally failed, they recommended another one within our budget as well as one that is necessary for the house our size. The installation was extremely efficient and VERY clean. We not only have a regular service contract with them, but also they supply the oil and delivery is always with a day of calling them. They also have good weekend and holiday service. Santoro Oil is great!We love Santoro---great prices, great service, and very honest. We used to have White Oil, which was great, but then Superior took them over. Over time prices went up and service deteriorated.We shopped around and decided to choose Santoro because they are they are a truly full service oil company. They run their own maintenance teams--They DO NOT farm their service calls out to other companies. Lo and behold, some of the White Oil employees moved over to Santoro, so we are happy to know we are working again with smart and reliable folks.

Danny did a very good job, real attention to detail. Did not mind answering my questions about the furnace, my air conditioning system, etc. Nice polite young man, a real asset to your team. That was a review from 2017-18 heating season. Now for 2019: Last heating season (2018-2019) I believe was the first time that Peter Congdon completed the preventive servicing of my furnace. I did not have to make any service calls whatsoever during that season because everything was properly tuned up. I realize parts fail, things get out of adjustment with use, etc., in a typical heating season I usually make several service calls, last year was a pleasant surprise. Maybe it was luck or good technician service, and I would not expect every heating season to go without any service calls whatsoever. I would say this man deserves an OUTSTANDING rating! I have been a customer since 1992.
What can I say. I made the decision to switch to Santoro Oil s few years ago and Ive never looked back. The company provides service that is second to none and they are responsive to my needs. Honestly, I cant say enough good about Santoro.

Really good service. However, they really need to offer service on Saturdays. It is inconvenient to wait for a repair man during working hours M-F. Many employers will not allow you to be late or call out due to personal issues. Please offer Saturday hours. It would show compassion on your part as well as being realistic as to the times we all live in.

I was very satisfied with the overall annual maintenance service provided by Santoro. The office contacted me to schedule an appointment and had availability within a reasonable timeframe. My prior provider would charge me but never contact me to set up the appointment and when I would call the availability wouldnt be for several months. Second, Paulo arrived within the two hour window. He was friendly and completed his work quickly and kept the area clean. With many companies, the window passes and I never even receive a call until hours afterwords. Just the courtesy of respecting my time given the sum of money I pay makes for a winning business relationship. I am looking forward to considering Santoro for an upgrade to my system in the future with the understanding you value me as a customer.
JT called before the appointment time to let me know he was on the way, he supplied with an approximate arrival time. When he arrived, he explained to me what he was going to do to repair my problem, and gave me an approximate time to complete. John actually finished the repair in less than his estimate. He cleaned up the work area upon completion, and explained what he had done. All in all this was a pleasant service visit.
Our most “recent experience” with Santoro Oil was not due to any problem per se – just the annual cleaning/tune-up. . . and the service tech was great! I was not physically there, but my wife tells me that the technician was on time, was very personable and friendly, and did a wonderful job cleaning up after himself – very important to any home maker! (We have had NO issues with the boiler and heating system since then.)We have been satisfied and loyal customers of this firm through its many mergers and acquisitions over the past 30+ years. The few times we needed to call Santoro over the years, they were very responsive and prompt -- once at 2:00 AM when the heat went off, they were there within 30 minutes. We don’t plan on ever switching!

I had them come and check out and sign up for service. I also set up an appointment to get a price on a new furnace. They were supposed to come yesterday afternoon. I waited and nothing happened. I got no call to cancel. If that’s their idea of service, I do not want to deal with them. I got a lock on my drop so they can not come without me to open it. I will not, and do not want their oil, or service plan?

Cant speak to their service, but not happy with their sales process. I called the main number to get pricing and payment information for our new home - was given a cell phone number to call Tony - I left a message for him and didnt hear back that day. In the meantime, I spoke with and signed up with another company for a year. Tony called me back a couple days later and I explained that I had since gone with someone else (he may have called earlier in the week, but never left a message). When I told him who we had gone with, he told me Id better make sure I knew what I was getting into with this particular competitor. I said we had already committed to the company as I needed to make sure I lined up an oil delivery for the winter, so there wasnt much I could do at that point. He said, do me a favor, Google complaints on this company, its a good idea to see what other people have experienced I told him it was too late, we were already customers with that company. While he may be correct in that people have had bad experiences with his competitor, it seemed pointless try to have me second guess my decision to go with another company, when I had already explained we were committed. It was a lost sale on his part, and his reaction came across as sour grapes. It really rubbed me the wrong way.

SANTORO has made living with oil a nightmare! As a first time home owner I had a decision to make on which oil company I will go with, I chose santoro due to the reviews on Google. I called and a sales rep or technician came to my house the next day, he was professional and set my wife and I up as customers claiming our rates will never go up from the price point from which we discussed. Upon my first oil delivery the oil driver filled up the wrong tank due to the rep putting the wrong tags on the outside, not only did they fill up the wrong tank but charged us more than $200 in order to drain it. It took almost 4 weeks to correct the situation and obtain credit for the mistake. Now with my service my tank gets filled on a monthly basis at the price that was guaranteed to never rise, yesterday was my monthly fill and when I get the bill it was $500 for 3/4 of a 200 gal tank. My price per gallon went up almost by a dollar! Last month I paid $367 for almost a full tank. Whoever goes with santoro just be careful and dont go by just the positive reviews.UPDATE NOVEMBER 1, 2018Company is worse than i thought, went with a different oil company this year due to santoros high prices and inadequate services. Now i get an email claiming i owe them over $200 due to yearly fees, first of i dont want your service nor did i sign up to automatically be enrolled in your program every year. This companys goal is to have you trap as if other choices are not available. Do yourself and your credit score a favor and stay away from these people.
