I sold my car to this fine establishment today. Took less than 5 minutes to do so. I had the impression that I would get $100 cash for my car, which was fine, but the gentleman I sold it to said they actually buy them for $275. I was amazed. I walked away with almost triple what I expected. If you need to get rid of a junk car, please sell it here and support this honest business! (They also have three very friendly dogs!)

I really like their selection and the folks there are super friendly. The prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is the vehicles are crammed in there making it difficult to navigate.

I called to see if theyd buy my junker car and they gave me a quote on how much theyd pay for it and said if I found a better deal anywhere to let them know. I had already called around, so I knew they gave me the best offer. I drove my car straight over, signed over the title and they paid me. It was so easy.

These guys are Great. Ive purchased a number of good parts at great prices from them as well as sold them a number of wrecked cars at reasonable rates..Really cant think of anything but good things t say about this yard and its staff.

Called in the AM to find out how much I could get for my little old car that I no longer use, simple as 123. Drove it to the location, went inside, signed over the title and got my cash. Simple and easy! Thanks guys:)

They had exactly what I needed. They answered the phone, and verified that they had several of the model and year of car I was looking for. There was no charge to wander around their lot looking for parts. Their prices were amazing, and I walked out with exactly what I needed. Ill definitely go back!

Fantastic great selection of cars, you have to pick and pull your own parts but the prices were unbelievably cheap for what I purchased.

It amazes me that this is just one of the several businesses that could care less about getting back to you when you need something. I wanted to purchase a 1986 Honda transmission that they had and after several calls and attempts to order I just said the heck with it. Would not return my call so I gave them a call two more times without response. They obviously dont need the money!

Hit a deer on our way up to Utah to visit some family. Deer had ripped our passenger mirror off the car and we needed a new one. Called and they said they had one left and it was exactly what we needed. Price was more than fair and pulling it was easy. They were even kind enough to let me borrow some wasp repellent for the wasps that started coming out of the mirror. Great guys and helpful!

Only been down here a couple times when I couldnt find what I needed in Salt Lake. Both times the owner was incredibly nice. Pulled what I needed and was asked what I thought was a fair price, both times accepted my offer. The vehicles here are not on stands like other yards and are usually packed pretty close together so making your way around can be a little difficult, maybe not the best place if youre looking for suspension components and I doubt youd be able to get an engine hoist in there, but for smaller items this place is fantastic.

Needs a little better organization but always have had what I needed and have great prices!!

Our company had a misunderstanding over a cylinder head recently and State Street was very kind when I called to talk about the issue. They are good people who do the right thing and have excellent customer service.I really hope that they will accept that we want to make this right with them and that David will remove the review he left about our business (Accuracy Auto).

This place is great! I believe it is the owner that runs the parts counter and he is very friendly, honest and reasonable. I have been to many recyclers and self pull yards and they have by far the best prices in the the state!!!!! They have saved me a ton of money. I send people their way all the time.

Been going here for years to get parts for my cars, they arnt to good at looking up parts and/or picking parts for you, but if you search their yard yourself, bring your own tools and pick the part yourself they are an amazing group to work with and give amazing prices. I hate going anywhere else. This is the place to go!

Horrible customer service. I called on Monday to get a part. They said they had it, and said it would be ready on Friday. I called on Friday to make sure it was ready for me to pick up and they said they dont have the part. What? Why didnt they call me to tell me they dont have it so I can find a different one. Ive been waiting all week to pick it up and scheduled with the mechanic. Then on top of that they act like Im the one being difficult?! Dont waste your time with them.

Best Used Part Yard In The State! They literally will not let you pay until you are happy with the price! They also do fast safety and emissions and since they arent out to make a buck off Repairs, like other shops in town, they will be impartial. Love This Place!

This morning 2/5/16 State Street Auto Wrecking pulled my daughters car off the side of the freeway because she slid off the road. She doesnt have any experience with this kind of thing. The company truck driver didnt communicate with my daughter about anything she needed to do. After hooking up to her Mazda he proceeded to pull the car while it was still in park and the E- brake on. Then after failing to move the car he shook his head and got out to talk to my daughter.I see that this company has mostly high ratings.However our experience is a dont use again.$175.00 for maybe 10 mins of work. I understand its a tow, its expensive. However some common courtesy and intelligent communication will go a long way.Adios, State Street Auto Wrecking

Sweetest guys ever at this shop, I wrecked my car and it was towed here. The insurance company that I had was taking forever to get it towed to the body shop but a guy at State Street Auto called and had it picked up for me and really helped speed up the process because Im from out of town and was in the middle of a roadtrip and they made my day!

Watch your pocketbook. They towed our car after an accident. They picked it up Saturday evening. They were already closed so we couldnt access the car. No way to contact them, no way to pick up the car. Then Sunday they were closed. By the time Monday morning came and they finally opened, we had a $120 storage fee. (Charged 3 days even though they werent open those days, and charged us for the few hours late Saturday night and early Monday morning that they were closed. ) What a racket! Holy cow. Call someone else!

I have always found something i was looking for, and sometimes more... Sometimes i even look forward to the searching.

Never have what is needed ever though they say they do when on phone,,then you go in to them and then find that no parts available..

My sons car was damaged in an accident. When he asked the driver to take his car to the nearest Ford dealer the row truck driver said he couldnt and drove away with his car. He tock it up in their secured yard. Little did he know their daily storage fees are ridiculously high. Since when does the tow driver have the right to ignore the requests of his client, then bill for services not requested?These guys take advantage of unsuspecting college kids.

Revised my review from 3 to 5 stars.My last review was 6 years ago and when I was a much less competent mechanic.Been going there for years and I still see the same great people there helping out the best they can. Recently bought another motor. And although it needed some parts swapped between the two and I didnt know exactly what I was getting (vin verified mileage) it seems to be working out okay. Also the sweet dogs there are awesome. And its a good ol fashioned junk yard. You get what you pay for. Sometimes junk is junk and other times its a treasure.pretty un organized. purchased a ready to run motor from them. part of the engine casting was broken, the intake manifold and parts were missing. the powertrain management parts were mixed with those of an earlier model year. about the only thing right about the motor was the casting number on the side of the block. would not recommend purchasing powertrain components here. parts can be unreliable. fine for small stuff. careless parts handling and organization though. its like the kind of scrap yards you see in hollywood. but the guys there a pretty nice. last i was there it looked like half of the yard was better organized. hopefully better things will come from the future there.

Show us the part... asked for a tool to make sure it was straight... didnt even bother looking for one or helping us after he pointed it out. I guess they dont want a sell anything.
