Id give a lesser rating than 1-star if it was possible. We walked into to a store with 1 customer and 4 employees. We were told they were only taking customers with appointments because of staffing issues. The manager told us 3 employees called out sick.We sat on a bench a little ways down from the Verizon store for a while, trying to find other options of buying a phone and saw maybe 2 customers go in the whole time. Then as we walked by to go to our car, we heard and saw two women go up to the customer service person at the front and say that they had been having problems with their phone. He asked if they had an appointment, they replied no. He found them a representative to offer them assistance, who proceeded to show them around the store looking at new phones.I figured maybe they had some cancellations, so we went back in. We walked around, looked at the phones and no one approached us. Meanwhile, another customer walked in, without an appointment, and got help.I wrote this entire review, waiting inside the store and wasnt approached once to see if we needed anything. Maybe its time for a new carrier, I guess Verizon is comfortable with the amount of customers they have and dont want my money. Womp womp...On our way out I told the manager, in his otherwise empty store, to not have too hectic a day, being overwhelmed with customers and all. He showed us his tablet, indicating the many people who have appointments that are on their way in. I let him know wed been on the bench and seen that they had only a couple of people enter since then. I didnt mention that wed seen two of his employees hanging out in the back. They had staff and one customer at this point. Who knows why theres excuses being made? Maybe they wanted an easy day. *shrug

Had an amazing experience thanks to Victor Mendez. Helped me with new plans, new phones, deals, accessories, repairs and kids watches. What normally takes over 2 hours he got completed in 30. Wish all my Verizon experiences were this great.

After 15 years they let me down for the last time, poor service, no phones, misleading information, strange sales approach, cocky attitude, and a lack of appreciation for the customer. For Verizon-why do you not offer deals that reward loyalty? Went to T-Mobile, just across the corridor, 4 Iphone 12 Pro Maxx,, better experience. Adios.

Never have the phone I want. Not very knowledgeable in the new products. Over priced. Associates dont seem to know what there doing. Never waited so long to just switch phones and then have to call Verizon back and spend another hour fixing what they broke. Also, when did my password change? They keep saying my pin is wrong and its been the same for five years.....dumb. honestly I thing 5G has done scrambled everyones brain.

One star is to many. Horrible experience. They let my wife leave without even setting up her new iPhone. Then theysell her a charger that doesnt even fit the new iPhone. These associates really struggle at what they do. Verizon all together is going down hill. Switching to T-mobile.

I spent literally 4+ hours with Verizon phone agent on a large transaction with multi-device upgrades and account merging, thought that everything was all taken care of, so I headed to the South Hill store, thats when I found out that everything was done incorrectly by the phone agent, then more time wasted trying to correct the issue but the store was near closing time. So I returned the next day with irritability, thinking that itd take few more hours, but thats when the store agent Micheal saved my day. He understood the technical issues quickly, worked through a very complicated transaction with calm and professionalism. Micheal really reversed a bad experience to excellent, thank you! (loyal Verizon family)

Justin was a tremendous help sorting out some strange billing and rebate issues. He went so far as to call me several weeks after I was in the store to confirm that everything was resolved and to see if there was anything else I needed help with. Excellent service!

He stayed past his scheduled shift and had a very pleasant conversation with me. UPDATE::: IT IS NOW AUGUST AND I HAVE STILL HAD NO CONTACT IN THE ISSUE AND AM STILL PAYING ON THE DEVICE. I HAD GONE IN TO TALK TO THEM AGAIN, GOTTEN A CALL THE NEXT DAY AND THEN NOTHING. SO I AM NOW PAYING TWICE ON A DEVICE I ALREADY PAID OFF!!have bought numerous things from this store, and would have rated them 4 if not 5, till this. Went in on Feb 24th to pay off an Iwatch on my account since in was unable to do it online. Even though they werent really taking cash due to the pandemic they were kind enough to do so for me since its what the customer service number was saying I needed to do. Jump to today, Im looking at my bill and realize Im still paying on said device! Call customer service and they say they see an email requesting a buyout bit nothing was submitted after. So In my eyes this store LITERALLY STOLE MONEY FROM ME! Im really hoping its some small error on their part but the fact that its looking like I have to pay something I already paid is ridiculous!

Making an appointment, standing in line, and in general going to this store was completely pointless. Whoever was serving us, dont even recall being introduced, was more confusing than helpful. They basically said they couldnt do anything and we had the option of waiting in the store to call or we could wait at home to call for help ourselves. If you go here, expect no help. At this point I think Ill just switch completely and let the other company cancel it for me.

Ok I admit I was WRONG my sons phone IS working GREAT. We did not listen to everything the sales representative saying. Thats why we were having so much trouble with my sons phone thank you version and the representative who sold us the phone. I learned one thing that is it pays to listen to everything a sales representative tells you.if you dont listen you write a bad review than having to apologize for the bad review. I am giving them 1 star purely for how kind the man helping me was. Other than that it was a bad experience, they didnt activate my new phone or tell me how to when I asked. They also did not transfer my data from my old phone to the new one, even though they are supposed to do that. I do not recommend going here for help.

Ive been going to this location for years now. Jeremy has been my go-to guy. Hes taken care of my needs as a business customer as well as with my personal lines of service. Hes always attentive and courteous, paying close attention to the needs of my family and myself. Whenever Ive gone in, hes made me aware of new services, making sure that Im getting the best bang for my buck. Ive even sent my daughter in to work with him directly when she needed help with her phone and I wasnt available myself. Ive never felt pressured or up-sold, and I would recommend to anyone considering Verizon to visit Jeremy for their questions and needs.

My wife and I went into the store with 3 young kids, knowing full well it was going to be a bit of a circus with them while we tried to get our plans set up. Everyone in the store was great and very helpful. One associate even brought my son a charger just so he could keep his tablet running. Victor was awesome. He got us an awesome deal and saved us quite a bit of money. My wife and I are very grateful for Victors help.

I’ve been with Verizon for many years for my personal use (especially with this particular store) and the service has always been perfect! Looking for a change for my business lines, I was hooked up with Justin (who handles business accounts, same location) and I have to say. He truly goes over and beyond for his clients. He has always been there to help me with any questions or concerns! He doesn’t try and “sell” you on stuff that you don’t need. Which is refreshing. If you just need a personal line, I don’t think you could go wrong by just walking in, but if you need a new business account... ASK FOR JUSTIN!

Our daughters phone was stolen, we got a new phone right away, but couldn’t get service to connect to it. I spent hours on the phone with Verizon and finally decided to go into a Verizon store. My son and I went shopping on Jan 18, 2020 and our representative, Stetson, was a very positive person and very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in and steered my son in the right direction when he was unsure of what product would suit his needs. He assisted us in a very timely fashion and I feel he is by far the best representative Ive dealt with in that particular store in years. I feel the So Hill Puyallup location has changed for the better in recent times. Weve been going to this store exclusively for years and our experiences in the past havent always been this great. I have been with Verizon for years. The South Hill location has a rep there named Brie. She has always been so helpful with any issues Ive had whether its technical difficulties or billing. She always make sure that I have the plan that fits my family best and keeps me updated on any changes that I might want to look into for my plan. I would highly recommend going to this location and asking for her she is extremely knowledgeable about all products and services! I refer all my family and friends to her because I know they will be taken care of not just that day but with any problems that arise.

I went this store because I need talk to people working there to change my current phone plan. They refused me to go in a store because I fed not make appointment before coming. No customers in a store around 4:30 on 9/23 and at least 3 people were working. They told me to come back after make appointment or call 611. It was ridiculous and worst customer service.

I’m not one to normally give bad reviews, but I think that this time a bad review is appropriate. Customer service is abysmal, especially one guy who works there who said he was from from Hawaii. Slicked back hair but I can’t remember his name. He had the nastiest attitude, it felt like he didn’t want to deal with me and just wanted me out of the store. Has quite the temper as well. The manager seemed nice enough so that’s why I gave 2 stars instead of just one. I will not be going to Verizon again

The employee rushed us and told us to come find him after we transferred a line. Which by the way was all remote so he didn’t have lift a finger. Before he walked away I told him after we did that we would like to get an upgrade and he said oh yeah sure. Then when we told him we were ready he said oh okay and started talking to someone else and made us wait again. Worse experience of my life, I’m not here begging I’m actually paying you and this is how you treat me. Worst experience in my life. Ugh. Verizon should fire Peter Ortega for poor costumer service and clearly caring very little for his job and company.
