Best place for me. I know the place for a long time and although not always everything perfect, still one of the best in town. The employees here are super nice and over all I can tell you it is a store you want to try.

The Good fortune supermarket is best for Asian food grocery store. I have found a great variety of Asian food, fish, vegetables, fruits here in the store. The shop is also quite clean and has plenty of parking spots though it is not obvious from road/outside.

Go to 99 instead. Cleaner, more products, better pricing and better customer service.

This is a review on the restaurant side and not the supermarket. I went to this place on Saturday and ordered 1 roasted duck and one chicken. I asked for the guy to cut the duck for me. He did but did not give me the whole duck back. I saw him left many pieces of my duck behind the cutting board to give to the next customer who ordered a plate of rice roast pork and duck . Buyer beware, maybe this a typical way they run business here but I will go to Boston to get the roasted duck from now on. If you insist on getting your roasted duck/chicken from here. Do yourself a favor and cut it at home so you know you’re getting exactly what you’re paying for.

Im new to the area and this is my favorite Asian supermarket in the area so far. It was a breath of fresh air since I was at another Asian market prior to. First things first, they have a parking lot with plenty of parking! Good Fortune is my favorite because its the cleanest and most organized Asian market Ive been to in the area. Theres something about organization that just soothes my soul. They have everything I was looking for and more. Theres a great selection of dry goods, snacks, produce, seafood, and meat that youre only going to find in an Asian supermarket like Chinese broccoli, Yu Choy, live fish and shrimp, chicken feet, fish sauce, fish balls, etc. There are several check out lines and I didnt wait in line very long.

I LOVE THEIR PRODUCE! The freshest produce in this part of Quincy. Shaws, nope. Star Market, nope. Stop and Shop, nope. Kam Man, nope. Roche Bros, nope.Go here for the freshest produce. I havent even mentioned the Seafood! The freshest caught seafood!!! My new favorite place to shop for food!

Prices on produce are usually better than most in the area. The staff is helpful and check out time is usually terrific. Extremely happy with most products.

I rather go across the street to Kam Man. Although this place has things that Kam Man doesnt have, the employees that work at the seafood department arent well-mannered at all. I honestly dont feel like typing out a story, just know that I felt like they were trying to scam my mother. I was not having it. They have a good selection of things but Im good on this place. Ill just continue to go to Kam Man.

This market has wide variety of groceries, fresh vegetables and fresh fish. I usually go here for the sea food. Some times I have hard time communicating with the staff and also understand what some food is as most of the products doesnt have english names on them. Over all this is a good place for everyday grocery

Dont trust this supermarket.they often charge the original price when they have special price.we caught them so many time., we need to be very careful.

Good price, but bad service. The worst check out management I ve ever seen. Theres no enough space for the line to check out that make me feel uncomfortable.Update: good price of the veggies and meat is the only one reason that attracts me. However, the worst attitude of the cashier really makes me angry.

At a time like this, probably not the best place to go grocery shopping. Especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings. No social distancing. The aisles are small. I dont believe they sanitize commonly touched things like fridge or freezer handles. Also, most of the carts have messed up wheels.

A bit small by supermarket standards but well stocked. The seafood department is a bit filthy however and areas near meat department stinks a bit. They do have a pretty good BBQ department, albeit its a bit small and often runs out of certain foods.

Fresh seafood assortment is great and they also have a nice meat, Vegetables and fruits fresh is well sometimes you have to look for mold on a few fruits due to the humidity.

Good things you dont find anywhere else and descent prices.

I went early Sunday morning, probably 45 mins after they opened up, and saw something that I could never unsee. I saw how they handled and placed the fish on the ice. All the fish were out on the floor, some stacked on top of each other, in various DIRTY, plastic crates that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. What made me cringe, and almost throw up, was witnessing one guy accidentally place his whole foot, with boots on that he’s been walking God knows where with, inside the one of the red snapper crates. When he saw what he did, he took his foot out, grabbed those very fish and proceeded to place them on the ice for you and I to purchase. I left with the quickness and vowed never to shop there again. I’ve been shopping there a for about a year and mostly during the COVID shutdown and have, for the most part, been pleased with my purchases. But, what I saw made me rethink my decision to eat fish ever again. They are unsanitary and I don’t trust where they store their products or how fresh any of their fish really are.I WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN! I will just learn how to fish on my own.

I love this newly opened Asian supermarket in Newark. It has a variety of goods. I think its so far the best one in Delaware.

The produce and selection of Asian foods are very good. They also offer competitive prices compared to Kam Man for certain items. The butcher section also sells some good chicken.

I just like their dishes. I always get awesome service here. The place is clean and the employees are always very kind. Will come visit again.

I dont mind this place but it can get a bit pricey the more things you buy. However, meat and fish here are fairly priced and you have to watch for deals which take place weekly

The Supermarket is clean but they dont have the kind of seafood that we always buy like milk fish, red snapper and other deep sea fish. We like the supermarket now that the parking space is wider its easier to park.

Fresh produces. Love the option of having fat or lean barbecue pork or fried pork from the deli.

You can get fresh vegetables and fruits here. However there is always a bad smell (due to fish I guess) inside the store.

Bustling Asian supermarket with a big produce department, plus butcher, fishmonger, groceries, bakery, and sundries.It can be crowded on the weekends, and the parking lot has a bottleneck. Good prices and lots of Asian produce that is not often available locally. Accepts credit cards. Still uses plastic bags.

Hard to get in and out but lot of parking. Cleaner than most Asian markets. Great selection of veggies and produces. Very good price on veggies and fresh during peak time such as weekend.

Best place to buy vegetables in Quincy. Hard to find staff who can speak English. As long as you know what you are looking for that is good enough.

This is a great place to shop if you like trying new things. I go here to purchase curry paste to make my meals pop. The prices are reasonable and the cashiers are fast and friendly.

Small, tiny but clean and good value

They have a wide variety of items and at a very cheap price. I just dont like to go there because it feels so unsanitary and theres always a bad smell in the parking lot when you enter the building. The parking Id say is fine, but there is a lot of trash littered all around the parking lot. plastic cups, newspapers and sometimes broken glass. Personally I park at Kan Man and then walk over to Good Fortune if I need to get something there.

The prices are fantastic! Very cheap! As a vegetarian I need ALOT veggies and tofu.. and at places like Stop & Shop in Star market the prices are down right ridiculous especially for fruits and vegetables.. plus place the selection is limited.. so I started thinking outside of the box.. so first I had tried Kam manand they are even cheaper but in there more of a selection but its kind of dirty in there and it smells really bad.. this place is a lot cleaner..the only thing that bothered me is they didnt have scales in the vegetable and fruit Department.. and not one person spoke not even a tiny bit of English..when I try to ask for help they would literally see me and completely ignore me..so I looked up on Google how to say some things in Chinese and they seemed aggravated that I had figured that out.. the selection isnt as big in the prices are a little more expensive but compared to Star market or Stop & Shop or whole foods its absolutely way cheaper..for 50$ I walked out 7 or 8 very FULL bags of food! I got atleast DOUBLE what I wouldve got @ a regular supermarket..Even the meat lk the chicken drumstick and thighs, pork chops were WAY cheaper..Im talking .98 a Lb..A when bag of them for $3.00..Fruit lk Strawberries & blueberries were both 3 for 5$! Eggplants were $1.00, Scallions were 2/ 1.00 etc etc..I hope this helps you!!

I find this market better organized and less hectic than Kam Man, the cashiers more friendly, and I can get my shopping done in half the time. Produce is fresh, so is fish.

Fair prices. Lots of produce, fish and live seafood to pick from. I always look for products from Japan. They got some good stuff here but i like KAM MAN MARKET across the street better. The selections are better, its cleaner and the shelves are better organized.

I bought a durian yesterday and I realized it’s bad inside when I got home. I called the store and the receptionist agreed to exchange a new one for me. So I brought it back to the store, then the guy who is in charged of the fruit section said you can’t make an exchange and he said the durian is not bad. I showed him the seeds inside are already turned black and watery, this is definitely a bad durian. He yelled at me in Chinese: what the hell, no return, go away! I was so mad and tried to talk to the manager but there’s no one is in charge! I am very upset and mad with this kind of customer service and people please be aware of this store and never buy stuff from them! The staffs are extremely rude and they don’t treat customers the way it should be!

I have been going to this store since they opened, but today I was very disappointment, I am all about consumer service and lets say I did not have a pleasant experience at the fish section. I was told no by two different man working at the fish department, that I couldnt have boneless Salmon cut in 4 pieces, instead the second man wanted me to buy Salmon steak with bones that I was not interested in. But even worse the man told me no and just turned around and went back to what he was doing. So I rather spend couple extra $$ per lbs and have excellent costumer service, than to experience this form of disrespect. I work with people every day and I go above and beyond to provide the best consumer service possible, it gets under my skin when I receive none in return.

Its like walking into a market in Southeast Asia. Incredible selection. Well worth the visit.

The cooked food counter person was rude and insulting. After getting a $15 reward coupon for cooked food as a reward for spending $259 in the market, the clerk refused to honor the coupon, saying that only one item (a half chicken) was the only thing I could get. This was not on the coupon, nor was it posted anywhere. Before I can ask her what other choice I can have, she ignored me and decided to help the person behind me who was also holding a reward coupon; and she let her have whatever she wanted, while let me standing aside and wait. Ultimately, I compromised whatever she gave me! As I left, she continued to complain about me to another employee. Her behavior was totally unacceptable. I would never buy another item of cooked food from this place again!

Every other time weve been to the store, there havent been any complaints. The smells are to be expected and I dont rate low for that, nor do I rate low for the stock or the cleanliness. I rate low because, this place is just another Gas-Station Mentality establishment.. you know, that 20 year old who has the keys to the convenience store station and is entrusted to close up shop appropriately, but shuts the pumps down and closes the drawers a half hour early? Yup. Theyre listed for 8AM - 9PM online, but walking up to their doors at 8:25PM I was greeted by one of the employees kids, blankly staring at me. That attitude about business is unprofessional.

Google posted open time 8am. Staff didnot let us in until 9am. What was that?

Literally turned the lights out in us 40 minutes before the posted, on google and inside the store, 9pm closing time. Managers car (I assume) was parked across two handicap spaces. Great store.

NEVER again will I go back to Good Fortune! We live an hour and a half away, and we normally go to Kam Man and this was our second time going to Good Fortune. The store closes at 8:30 PM, but store employees or manager shut off all the lights while we were still in the store at 8:20 with no announcements or anything! Pitch dark trying to make our way to the cash register. What a horrible experience, pretty much being kicked out. NEVER AGAIN will we be going back. 👎🏻

4 stars and not 5 because the parking lot is a bit tight and exiting you can only turn right, which can be inconvenient. Other than that, the market has a good selection of east and south east asian produce/herbs, spices, and sauces. The prices I find are a bit cheaper than the prices you would find across the street at the other Asian market Kam Man.

I shopped there today. When I got home, I noticed I was charged item that I did not buy. I only bought 8 items, imagine people who bought a lot of things and cannot check them one by one on the receipt.Shopper beware. It is a Chinese store but you can get vegetables, meat and most of fish varieties and fruits from here. All types of people can shop here to find most varities of kitchen things.
