We went for some plants and it is end of the season. They put high price but plants are not healthy enough. Expect better collections and quality.

I just went there to pick up some spray paint. It was a good price and easy to find.I wish someone in my neighborhood would give me really good reason to spray or release at a reasonable price.(free) there is photo of the sprayer.

Russ at the Pro counter and Kurt the delivery driver were wonderful in my last two transactions at Home Depot. I was pretty much done with ever shopping there but made an exception for an outstanding price on two large deliveries of mulch, and both times I dealt with Russ and Kurt. They were friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful. Because of them I’m willing to try shopping at Home Depot again.

Went today to purchase 1500 worth of windows. Found someone to finally help us. They then told us they had to help someone with blinds and they left. So we left and went to Lowes. As we left home depot I told the lady at the front what had happened and all she said was ok! I know everyone is short staffed but where is the customer service! I cant stand my local Home Depot! More than one time I have been burned by them. Most recent event and last for sure, I only go in to home depot if I absolutely have to. I went in for a cordless dewalt pole saw, they are advertising if you buy a dewalt power tool for 149.00 or more and you get a free matching battery. They wouldnt honor the offer, no apology, nothing at all. Customer service didnt seem to care in the slightest bit. I should have listened to my gut and NOT went in there.

There was no assistance in electrical at all waited for awhile our contractor finally just came and got what we needed. Your price was double what it was at mernards but they were out of what we needed.

Went to the paint section to find concrete sealer and while walking down the aisle to go to the help desk and the employee all but ran so he didnt have to deal with us.Eventually a woman came and showed up where the sealer was and told us that it comes in 5 gal. Buckets also. Then she walked away with another customer when we still had questions we were asking.5 gal. Buckets and lids were falsely priced also.

I had issues in the past with home depot, however some of the sales items are at a great cost, however menards blows some of there prices out of the water. Home depot as well will not price match same product unless it is exactly the same manufacturer of the product. Exact same flooring different brands the lost my business to menards for that reason.

I went to Home Depot with a plumbing question on 1/3/2021. My experience was not great, but also not terrible. First connecting to their guest wifi proved difficult; it took 4 attempts and it finally worked (it is called AT&T Wifi, using IPhone to connect to it, go to your Wifi settings screen, wait for several seconds on the wifi screen after connecting and eventually a popup will appear when you can accept the terms and use the Wifi). Staff were very accessible and generally friendly, although in the plumbing section the staff member who assisted me was not able to answer my question and did not offer to find another associate who could. (They said no one else would have an answer). Prices seem a bit high; I feel for household items I could do better price wise at Aldi or Walmart, and tools and equipment seemed comparable to Ace Hardware (no noticeable savings). They certainly had a large selection of most anything Home Improvement, but I find I can usually satisfy my needs at my local Walmart generally or Ace for specialty. The one item I specifically asked for - a basin wrench - they had one model in stock that was $24.00 (seemed expensive) and their cheaper model was out of stock on the shelf (cheaper mode was still more expensive than Harbor Freights). Unfortunately I don’t see a reason to return to Home Depot unless my local Ace is out of stock on something I need ASAP and I can’t just order on Amazon and wait for two days.

Matt sold me my first riding mower. When it was delivered I called him several times with questions and he was always polite about it. Plus very knowledgeable. So i went back to him when i purchased my Tuff Shed, lawn furniture and grill. No where else gives that kind of service.

Usually get great service. Recently attempted to purchase a string trimmer online but there was an issue. When I called the store here in Quincy, female employee said trimmer would still come and I could pay upon arrival. A week later, I called to check on status and different employee told me it must be paid for FIRST in order to ship. Ordered new one and went to store when it came in. Store offered curbside pickup so I called their number. They told me I have to come in to get it? When I did so, they handed me receipt and put in cart for me to push out. Is this what curbside pickup is, because it seems like regular pickup to me? Still like store and employees but seems like some training might be in order.

Lumber, power tools, fasteners, even flooring home depot is most often #1. I usually always try home depot 1st before going to menards or lowes.

Store is great! Clean, friendly smiling faces! 4 of the 5 employees who helped us, find hinges, screws and gate handles were wonderful! Great help, very friendly. HOWEVER.... the Male behind the counter who checked us out at the pro service counter was very rude, and wasnt very patient with 2 women(myself and my mom) on a first time purchase of Fencing materials. I personally felt like he was very sexist and didnt believe women should be buying such items. That is just my opinion but C could have been having a bad day. Still no way to act when it comes to customer service.

Sign outside said facemasks required....they were not. Many customers without masks. Store was also dirty, kinda like Dollar Generals.

Went to home depot in Quincy Illinois to buy crown molding and went to check out. Asked about military discount and was told yes we do honor it. The discount we got was 52 cents on a 200 charge so we asked about it was told that only certain woods are given with military discount which we of course did not know which ones. Lady told us to go to customer service and hopefully they would Give us the discount. Instead we were told that if we were given the discount that they would be paying us to take the crown molding! So we asked for a refund and told them we would go to Lowe’s from now on And they would be happy pay us to buy from them. So Home Depot you lost good customers over a lousy 17 dollars that we saved, because you think “you had to pay ya to buy your product” to any military folks go to Lowe’s you will save money !

Called Home Depot and had them hold a range for us, which that went fine but while I was there I told the two men helping me that I was interested in a dishwasher and not one of them offered to help and it took me asking 3 people to find stick on backsplash.

Nice store but sometimes can be hard to find what your looking for and employees are rarely around to help you find what your looking for. Store is usually as clean but this isnt my 1st choice for hardware!
