I am very sadden that this great store will be part of History in Quincy, Ma.You can get everything you need for a function of your choice. I have always found what I needed and more. The staff is fantastic with great care in your excitement of how you look in your pick. I go there for one thing and because I love fashion, I leave out with much more. Well wishes for them all.
Grandasia is an amazing store with a wonderful staff! The owner, Phi, is truly the most professional and sweetest person! She puts smiles on peoples faces and you can see that she LOVES what she does and cares for her customers! She will go above and beyond to make you happy. My wife and I met Phi when we walked in her store over 12 years ago looking for dresses for our wedding. Since then, we have been going to Grandasia for dresses and other products. I have three daughters and would have loved to get dresses from Grandasia for prom and weddings just like their mom. It saddens me to hear they will be closing. Phi provided good service and great dresses. Most importantly, she gave back to the community and treated everyone that walked in her store like family! I wish Phi, Grandasia, and staff the best!
We took this picture to document our first appointment to look for a wedding gown. Our group included the bride-to-be, mother of the bride, maid of honor, and mother of the groom. From the moment we entered, we were treated like royalty. We had a room all to ourselves, with our personal attendant, Jasmine, and such a choice of gorgeous gowns. We never felt rushed. Or pressured. Quite the opposite. My daughter found the one, and then basked in the glow of all the customers celebrating with a round of applause. Phi, the owner, is extraordinary, as afterwards I had questions about the order and she answered every one so promptly and so courteously that I was reassured my daughter was in the best hands! I would send anyone here for prom, bridal, formal occasions with complete confidence. Make this your first stop!
Grandasia has been absolutely amazing to my family and I over the past 5 years since we started shopping here! First, my older sister got married in 2015 and we got her wedding dress and all of our bridesmaid dresses here. Then came back for my prom for an absolutely stunning dress and now back again for the most perfect wedding gown for my own wedding! The quality and uniqueness of each dress was outstanding with very low prices and the customer service was the best Ive ever experienced. Walking into the shop, I get a very warm welcome every time. The staff always has a huge smile on their face, making the dress shopping easy and comfortable. When you find the dress you love, you get to hear a gong and you walk into the middle of the store where everyone claps and tells you how beautiful you look. I will forever come back to Grandasia whenever I need a dress, even though I live an hour and half away. I highly recommend this dress shop to anyone and everyone I know! This shop is wonderful! I was looking for a recital gown and I always have difficulty finding formal dresses in my size. Not only was there a huge selection of beautifully made gowns in a size zero (in an amazing array of colours, too!) but the staff were all wonderful! The woman who helped me pick my dresses was so patient and kind! The owner was on the floor and available for questions and went above and beyond with giving us a discount since one of the dresses I chose needed a very small repair (one of the hooks had come loose). I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone in the market for a prom/evening/recital/ or other formal occasion dress, it was a fantastic experience!
An amazing place to get the dress you want and didn’t even know you needed. The dresses all have a distinct flair that you won’t find elsewhere. This store took the time to help me find my dream prom dress. Each person was patient and extremely helpful. I felt confident that I left with the perfect dress for me. Found a prom dress, staff was really friendly and helpful. Tons of dresses to choose from. Very nice environment to be in. You can try on multiple dresses and help get fitted into them. They even suggest dresses that they think would suit you.
After searching online I found my dress for my sons wedding at Grandasia. When I called they made an appointment for my visit. The staff was very helpful. After trying on many dresses I found the perfect one. The seamstress did an amazing job fitting the dress. I am very happy I found Grandasia and will come back again.

My wife and I took our daughter to Boston, Massachusetts to visit a college that she got accepted into over the weekend. While we were up there we decided to go prom dress shopping with her. We went to Grandasia because a friend of hers recommended her after her own experience at the store.I had a wonderful experience from start to finish at Grandasia. The customer service was one of the best I have ever experienced; it was second to none. Phi Du the owner and the whole staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of prom dresses and bridal gowns and the music is so wonderful. My daughter was treated like a princess and I was even treated like a King. They have a man cave area that I sat in while my wife and my daughter were looking for dresses; they even provided a reclining chair with a blanket so that I would be comfortable! They stayed past their closing time with us just to make sure that we had what we wanted with no hassle and no pressure. I would recommend Grandasia to all my friends and family and anyone that is looking for a bridal gown, prom dress, or any other fashion need. It is truly a wonderful store and I would drive 4 hours again just to visit it.
I was really nervous and stressed out to find the perfect dress. Yet, the instant I walked in I was greeted by so many friendly employees that ensured me that I’d find my dream dress thatll give me bragging rights. I came all the way from New York to find the perfect dress and they were able to give it to me to take it home on the same day. Not only did I find my perfect dress, but my sister, cousin, and a friend were able to find dresses for themselves without feeling uncomfortable. Its the best stress-relieving shopping experience I’ve ever had, and I will definitely come back if I need a dress for anything!

Grandasia is the best bridal and prom store out there. Everyone I drive by something manages to catch my eye. I visited the store a few days ago and had the most amazing experience. I was greeted by Mr. Jay the distinguished gentleman who took me to a very experienced sales consultant. My sale consultant listened to my interests and delivered a phenomenal dress. The staff is extremely welcoming and experienced. I have been to many bridal stores and this by far is my favorite. They have a great variety and are extremely well priced. Based on the wonderful experience I have had with the owner Mrs. V, the delightful gentleman that greeted me and the amazing sales consultants I would recommend this store to everyone! I was surprisingly impressed.
I purchased a prom dress about 3 years ago with my oldest daughter and had a great experience. So, we wouldnt go anywhere else for my youngest daughter attending Jr. prom this year. I cannot say enough GREAT things about Grandasia!! Years back I got a prom dress from them which was amazing and most recently my wedding gown. Jack, Phi, Jasmine and all the staff are very welcoming, kind and very accommodating! They truly offer best service around, they make you feel like extended family and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is more than perfect. I felt like a celebrity when searching for the perfect dress. I cant thank everyone at Grandasia enough for making my dress search the easiest, stress free part of my wedding planning so far! Came here a year ago with a friend and saw how many beautiful dresses they had. Customer service was amazing. Came back to find a dress for a military ball and found the perfect dress with the help of the employees. I would 100% recommend this place for whatever event you are attending.

We are from North Carolina and we were in NYC for vacation and drove to Boston. We googled prom dresses in the area and we saw Grandasia. We went in and was greeted by Jay. Then we were introduced to our consultant. My daughter chose a few dresses and started trying them on. We were offered water. We were checked on several times. My daughter found her dream dress and the owner came over to adjust straps and discuss alterations and shoes. Then we made our purchase and we were given the gong. With all this being said... This is the best dress shopping experience my daughter or I have ever experienced. Amazing staff. I cant compliment everyone enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a gorgeous dress. Grandasia Bridal is the absolute best place to get your wedding gown and prom dress. I have been in different stores no one was good as grandasia Bridal. First of all, it has the best customer service. The staff is super friendly and not pushy like at some other stores. Second the price is the cheaper than everywhere. I bought my wedding gown there and I asked them to make a jacket for my dress and Mrs. Phi made a wonderful jacket. Everybody loves my dress. I highly recommend to any one!
Took my oldest daughter to this store on Saturday to purchase a sweet 16 dress along with a host of family members and friends. BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. This store is massive, dont let the outside fool you. The woman who worked with us was amazing. The selections were great. When my daughter finally chose her dress, everyone made such a production about everything - she felt so special and cared for. Cant wait to pick up this dress next week. Dont go anywhere else. Do not pass go. Dont collect $200. Only go to Grandasia - you wont regret it!
Grandasia Bridal in Quincy is amazing. First of all, the accommodations that they are willing to make with you are fantastic. I showed my mom a picture of my “dream dress” and she reached out to a few places, including Grandasia, and they were the only company that could get it. Also, on my last dress fitting I had an entourage of the most important women in my life, and they had the “diamond suite” ready for us, no questions asked. The staff is so friendly and warm and the seamstress was outstanding. This was literally the dress of my dreams and they did everything they could to make it perfect on me. My husband and I got married in Venice, Italy and they helped me pack the dress up so that it would get very minimal wrinkles traveling and now they are cutting the dress into a high-low for our celebration with family and friends! I HIGHLY recommend Grandasia, they are phenomenal.

I had a fantastic experience today at Grandasia. I needed a dress for a national pageant with a quick turnaround and they were more than willing and able to help. The staff was friendly and treated me like a queen. They helped me pick out gowns and let me try on as many as I needed. They helped me find the one and I could not be more thrilled. The service and the generosity of the staff was just amazing. The dress I chose did not need alterations but the in-house seamstresses were kind enough to look the dress over before I left. I highly recommend this for any pageant, prom, or wedding needs. The gowns are gorgeous, they can be tailored for you, and the in-store experience is fantastic. I will definitely be back here for all of my future pageant/gown needs!!
I loved the whole experience I went through at Grandasia. Everyone was extremely friendly and always made sure that I was comfortable and liked what I was wearing. I found the perfect dress and they helped me through ordering the right size and fitting it perfect to my body. I brought my daughter to Grandasia for her prom gown. From the moment we walked in the door (even before), we were treated wonderfully. After ordering a specific size and getting her dress home, we realized that the dress was not going to fit. We went back to the store and Phi, the owner, saw my daughter in the dress and knew a new one had to be ordered. She brought over a similar dress in a different size and low and behold my daughter fell in love with it. We didnt order the different size, we ended up with a different dress. The exchange was effortless and the people there were wonderful. I would definitely go there again.
I went into the new Quincy Center location to browse wedding dresses because of their beautiful window displays. The full-length windows in the historic Hancock Street building allow Grandasia to showcase the gorgeous dresses they carry, dresses which look just as beautiful on as they do on the forms. Phi and her assistants were great. They listened attentively to my budget and the styles I wanted, and they treated me like their only customer as I tried on many different dresses. In terms of selection, I couldnt be more pleased. I tried many lace styles, which I thought I wanted, before Phi suggested I try a full silk dress to change things up. Her expertise was obvious - I fell in love with the Justin Alexander dress she recommended. They were accommodating enough to let me come in a second time to try it on again before I committed to the dress, and it was still perfect. I am so pleased with my experience; I was thrilled to be able to support a local business, and I cant wait to wear my dress on the big day. I would highly recommend Grandasia to any bride in the Boston area looking for an excellent experience and the perfect dress.

Me and my mom went to the store to look for my Junior Prom dress Saturday. Without realizing that they didnt open until 12 pm, we showed up at 11 am and were kindly welcomed into the store. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. There was no pressure put on me and my mom whatsoever, but I still did find the perfect dress for me - I absolutely love it. Im so glad we went to Grandasia! I even recommended to all of my friends at school to go look for their dresses there because I loved it so much. Great experience.

I️ have gone to like 7 other places and this is the place where I️ finally found the one. Being a plus size girl is so hard and here they had a variety to choose from. They also have this really cool gong that they hit when you find the right dress and even though I️ was embarrassed they made me feel so beautiful! I️ 100% recommend this place!

My husband had found them on line. We wanted to surprise our daughter with looking for a prom dress, while on her birthday trip to Boston. Our home is out of st.ate. She had borrowed a dress for prom the last 3 years. This experience of buying her dress at Grandasia far exceeded my expectations. We had wonderful experience. I would travel to come back here again.
My wife and her family came to Grandasia to find her wedding dress, reception dress, and bridesmaids dresses and it was a great success. While I was not able to see my wifes dresses I was able to see the bridesmaids dresses and accessories that were picked out. The great service from the owners and to the young ladies working the floor it is an exceptional place to be for all of your formal needs. I highly recommend this place a million times over.
UPDATE: THE THIRD PARTY THAT THE OWNER IS REFERRING TO IS THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! Everyone was able to get my emails but somehow not Grandasia they only got my email until I asked for a refund? Originally she said I was just using the reviews site to get attention and pretty much called me a liar. She called my bluff and actually said If Ms. Buffong can submit to BBB and myself proof of all the missed emails, as well as phone records indicating that she had placed the calls to Grandasia on 4/26/20 and 4/30/20, then we would be happy to issue her a full refund to her credit card account. If that indeed happens, then I truly apologize for all the inconveniences Ms. Buffong had experienced with Grandasia and genuinely ask for her forgiveness. If for any reason Ms. Buffong cannot submit proofs for the claimed missed emails and phone records, I am still willing to issue 100% refund to Ms. Buffong’s credit card account, but with the condition that Ms. Buffong must clear our Grandasia name on the internet by a) removing her misleading negative reviews on Google and Yelp; b) agreeing to not post any negative reviews in the future on any review sites related to this purchase and c) we close this case at BBB and hide it from the public view. I most certainly did not agree to remove any review and sent proof of emails once again immediately to the BBB. I received a full refund just 24 hours later on July 23rd because it is my understanding that she must comply with BBBs decision. I thought all was done until August 29th I received a call from Grandasia once again asking me if Im satisfied with my refund and then asking if I could remove my reviews! I hung up. I then received another call so after quite a few text messages back and forth both apologizing and stating our cases (life is too short) I was offered the dress free of charge because I was told the store will be closing anyway and she wanted to offer it is a peace offering. In the end I told her to donate it to someone in need and low and behold the conversation went right back to removing all reviews.I BLOCKED GRANDASIA! This is when they decided to reply below. Shameful. They can manipulate some into filling out reviews in their favor but my reviews will always be my HONEST shopping experience. Only reason they got one star is because the dress was beautiful and my daughter felt like a princess for 15 minutes.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very Very Disappointed! I have driving by this establishment over the years with my daughter and she couldnt wait for the opportunity to shop for her prom dress there. Everything went well and she picked out a beautiful dress. I put down a $50 deposit and then made 2 more payments over the phone to pay the balance off. With all the disaster of Covid-19 the prom was cancelled, the store was shut down and Grandasia refused to make an exception and refund our money less the deposit. The dress was not a special order, it as in the window of the store and was not altered in any way. My daughter is headed to college and will never get to go to another such formal event in many years to come. She might not even be in the same state! I explained all of this via email to Grandasia and their reply was NO REFUND BUT THEY WOULD GIVE US A STORE CREDIT FOR 80% IF WE REPLIED BY 5/1/2020! They then stopped replying to any of my emails. As of 5/18/2020 THEY STILL HAVE BOTH THE MONEY AND THE DRESS IN THEIR STORE! SHAME ON THEM.

I have had just the most outstanding experience at Grandasia!!! I found my dream bridal gown near my parents home in NY, however I knew I couldnt get the dress there and travel in to NY for every fitting and such. I did some searching and found the dress at Grandasia. Phi quickly responded and set up an off-hours appt for me since I was rushing to purchase and order my gown. She was so sweet and took the best of care of us. She recommended a custom cut for the gown since I needed much larger in the bust than anywhere else. She measured and clearly wrote everything out for me and for the designer. A few weeks later my dress arrived!!! I just had my first fitting two days ago, and my dress fits LIKE A GLOVE! I dont think it could possibly fit any better and its all thanks to Phis precise measurements and communication. I am so excited to continue working with these wonderful people on my dream gown. Hands down, I would recommend this store to EVERYONE I know! LOVE Phi and the gentleman who escorted us to the bridal suite and took great care of us, while we were there. They are wonderful, I cant say enough positive things!

I came in five days before my prom because the dress I ordered online from a different store didnt turn out well, they not only found me the perfect dress but they also had my dress altered for me within three days & it came out perfect! We have just purchased my baby girls Senior Prom dress and I am glowing almost as much as my daughter! We had no expectations and the store and staff BLEW us away!! Greeted on the street by JD, we felt right at home in the cleanest and most inviting store we have been to in two years. The staff was always available, but not in a overbearing way at all. Everyone was having a great time, laughing with each other and experiencing all the beautiful dresses. Each dress is carefully displayed on the racks and someone is there to help with the fittings and to suggest other styles. Tony ended up bringing us THE dress, and we cannot believe how right he was! We ordered my daughters Prom dress on line. The day it was to arrive in the mail we received a notification that the order was refunded. We called Grandasia and the woman over the phone was so very kind. The next day we drove from the Cape and looked at the many dresses they have. Within 20 min we had my daughters prom dress. My daughter and I were on the hunt for prom gowns and had found Grandasia Bridal through Yelp. When we walked into the store we were immediately greeted and impressed with the gorgeous displays. The staff is outstanding, we had individual care and help throughout our time, the dress selection was extensive and we were able to find the exact dress my daughter had in mind. Highly recommend Grandasia to anyone looking for formal dresses and gowns for any occasion!
These guys are great! I wish I knew about them when I got married. Gorgeous dresses (my mom and aunt got them here for my sisters wedding), quick alterations, and fantastic staff! Well all be back any time we need dresses! :-)

Got my prom dress from here last year, and got so many compliments on it. Great, friendly employees who dont smother you and force you into buying a dress. Every time I drive by I see brand new dress styles in the window, theyre always getting new designs. Theres always a dressing room open, and a dress to try on!

I bought a beautiful dress the bust area was too small. I came to Grandasia bridal with the intent to sell the dress and the manager who was wonderful informed me that he was unable to do so, but they do alterations. I came back the next day with my dress and they came up with an exceptional idea so my dress can be worn.I needed the dress the next day and they got it done. I highly recommend Grandasia to anyone. They also carry array of beautiful dresses and bridal gowns!Stop by for any formal event or if your getting married. I know I will be!

Grandasia did a wonderful job helping me find my wedding dress. They were so helpful throughout the appointment, made me feel comfortable, provided options as they learned what I liked, but werent pushy. We even went well over our appointment time limit and I didnt feel rushed at all! At the end of my appointment, I narrowed it down to two dresses, but just couldnt make the final decision that day. They were not pushy to make a sale and force a decision, but told me to take all of the time I needed. When I made my final decision a couple of days later, they made time for me to come in right away and try it on again. I also wanted to make some modifications to the dress and they were so flexible to agree to do so. Wedding dress shopping can be overwhelming and stressful, but I didnt feel that way at all at Grandasia. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dress for a special event!
This place is fantastic. They are extremely clean and have some of the best customer service ive had in a while. The owner recognized me from a few years back when i bought stuff for my wedding in 2013.

Grandasia was great! I rented the Qua (Kuo) and it was perfect. It was just what I was looking for the morning Chinese tea ceremony. The people was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for all your wedding needs.
In a search for the ultimate tuxedo for my sons wedding. I traveled about, only to find disappointment. Thats when, on a tip from a girlfriend. I discovered the hidden gem of Quincy Square. Grandasia. As I walked in the entrance of what was once the entrance of the old 5 and Dime,Woolworths ahh, but I digress. Suddenly Im submerged in a well of melodious far-eastern instrumentals. Venturing further into the show room, I was transformed into a magical array of colors cascading from above in the forms of silks and satins, by the art of designs. Dresses and gowns dominate the landscape, at this point, I meet the owner. She attends to me, with a personal touch. The staff are more than helpful, they make you feel right at home. I was shown a large variety of tux selections. Phi, the owner fitted me herself. The price was very reasonable.When I returned to pick-up, I tried the tux on. It fit perfect, in fact I was said to have a slight resemblance to a certain secret agent 007. I had a great experience at the Grandasia, I enjoyed the interaction of my business transaction immensely.

They helped with every aspect of helping the bride to be find a dress, accessorize it, and to even reconstruct a veil that she loved! I came from Long Island, New York just to check out some dresses for my sister’s prom. I couldn’t help but fall in love with all the dresses. At NY I’ve always found similar dresses almost every store. At Grandasia, I can guarantee you will find something ONEE OF A KINDDD!!! And a dress that screams ME!! I found a dress that was size 4, I’m a XS and very petite. Everyone here helped me get it to my figure and not just XS. Please check them out!! You will only find yourself here more often than you think!

Grandasia is absolutely THE place to get your prom dress this year. They have the latest styles including the exclusive, brand new, Jonathan Kayne collection. The dresses here are beautiful, and the service is impeccable. All associates are friendly and helpful, and always have a fitting room available for you!
This place looks a little over-the-top from the outside, but it has an AMAZING selection of gowns - both bridal and formalwear. The person guiding me through the bridal gown selection process was extremely helpful and when she realized I didnt want to spend a fortune, she found me a unique and beautiful last-of-the line, floor-model dress that was discounted. Needless to say, I LOVED it and it got me the price point I was looking for. They do charge for alterations, which is posted, but they didnt mention the price of the alterations to me until I was picking it up (ahem, how much??!) but overall a great experience. I would HIGHLY recommend buying a bridal or formal dress at GrandAsia.
