Walmart is cheaper on most things. Clothes are decently priced, variety is garbage but they get an extra star for being one of the few places to sell those soft comfy fleece pajama pants. Cashiers jump into action when lines get long, plenty of parking, good location.

Its a good store for stuff you need at a decent price. You just have to to go there and see if they have what you need. The staff do not always know what their inventory is. Sometimes youll find what you need, sometimes not.

Looking at those ships waiting to unloadAt various seaports yet this store has no problem loading its shelves with quality products from China.

Affordable stuff, with occasional nice surprises. A mix of odd lots of expiring quality items and their own house brand cheap merchandise. Great place for many gardening supplies, but recent supply chain issues and shopping crazes mean advertised garden items are often sold out or unavailable.

This ones a little oddly organized and the in/out is too cluttered and not particularly visible...but still has lots of fun and useful items at good prices.

Very friendly, asked if needed assistance and helped those that needed help. Only issue I would have and its not really one, is the entrance and exit a little confusing.

Great place to get good items and if your lucky some great finds. They have deals that sell out quick. So if you see something you want in their weekly flyer get right down there. At Oceanstate they have candy, wrapping paper, detergent, and even some furniture and their products are of a way better quality than alot of merchants for the price.

Always find something good here. If you’re in the market for K-cups, they have decent coffee at good prices pretty consistently. Can’t argue with that.

I hadnt been in this store for years went in to get a refresher of what exactly they sell i found some nicely priced champion shorts for my husband because he likes to wear them around the house but they have an assortment of different items that you can purchase foe your house yard office etc its a cool place to browse

If you are disabled, dont be ever work here. This sub human person was suppose to observe me for an hour at most. My now former Boss Angela iadmited to me she went over to the observer and started talking to behind my back with things I never told her.. instead of asking me my side of the story Angela hoped that the person could come back . No chance. Angela said she could support me on my needs. Dont think so if she could not ask me about be. Ok place to shop, but never to work.

Have a variety of items cheap that Ive seen for a lot more at other places! Have a lot of health foods also like Bob Mills Flaxseed, etc! Some things that they always have in the weekly flyer they didnt have in stock! But Ive only been there 2x!

Very quick service--Always plzd with customer service all around--cashiers always pleasant--always find what I came in for--prices extremely on point.

I find cool stuff here.

The store is kind of claustrophobic but if you look around you can save some money. I only needed disposable aluminum pans. Got these loaf pans for .27 ea. Also got lasagna pans for.60 ea. I believe round cake pans were only .22 ea. All those items are way more expensive at the supermarket. They also had these rugs for what I thought was a good price.

Easy to find. A lot of inventory that was very neat, for a change. Didnt have what I was looking for but the customer service experience was great!! Actually walked the store with me looking for an appropriate substitution. Which we never found and it seemed to bother him more than me... And I traveled 50mins to get there!!!

I love Ocean State Job Lot and this one is huge. Its packed, but well organized. The staff is friendly. I reserved something I saw on line to be picked up later that day. There is olive oil, coffee, bird food, art supplies, socks, comfy pants, hoodies, sleds or pool toys depending on the season, toys, planting supplies, grills covers, outdoor furniture, agave, honey, spices Polar soda and more. Most things they carry all the time, reliably. A lot of brand names. Ones you wouldnt expect. Bonus: this one has a Marshalls right next door.

Reminiscent of the way they used to be, this Job Lot store is small and old but it carries some hard to find items, such as warm winter accessories (fluffy hats, thick gloves and socks), interesting and uncommon household decors, and typical to the chain some gourmet consumables. Worth a quick visit to grab stuff.

Prices are good and reasonable, however the store itself isnt kept clean as I saw several mice throughout the store. Also, parts of the floor were sticky. It was like this the last few times I was there.

Look this is a spot where one can schlep around for a possible deal. What I mean is its a hit or miss, be sure to check dates and such on food type items and quality check on other items...if that matters to you. If not just go buy anyway. This can be a good place to stock up once those quality checks are done, if the price is right & you know a bargain is in hand. Dont be fooled that just because the item is in this store its automatically discounted - NOT SO - do your due diligence, cause all these stores want our pocket jingle it is choice who it goes to to. I went in for a quick visit to buy Stretch Tite plastic wrap, which they sell for less than other stores. It was in stock. I bought it.The staff there are friendly and nice. If I were the manager, I would provide staff with toothbrush and paste, combs and brushes, so that they could wash and get their appearance as nice as their attitudes.

This particular store was a decent. The staff here was pretty nice. I found what I was looking for and other things I didnt intend on buying as well.

Bit of a treasure hunt - fun, but dont always count on finding something specific. Prices are usually bargains. The Newport Avenue is smaller than most in the chain, but the staff does a stellar job of packing a lot into restricted space.

Unfortunately its hit or miss with the store Ive gotten gifts and theyve been missing pieces and the manager was a complete jerk and said what you expect is ocean State Job lot like Its the Dollar Tree! That are very good at repackaging items so you never realize that somebody else had bought and it broke in it or didnt return all of the items!
