This is simply the best Trek around! I love the people and the bikes even more. They are always patient with me and helpful. Having been a customer for 5+ years, this feels like family.

Been going here since 2012. Its nice to walk into the store and get a warm welcome every visit. The service is fast and the staff is always super friendly. Its nice to see the same familiar faces are still working here and even some new faces. I cant say enough great things about this store!

The service at this Trek store off Durant was fantastic! Was greeted immediately by Bo upon entering. Saw that I was carrying a busted wheel and was brought back to the repair department where Kale was waiting for me. Did a thorough job of diagnosing my problem and wrote up a work order for the repair. Great experience. Thank you!

I had my bike serviced recently for the first service included with my bike’s purchase and everything was really great. We checked my alignment when I dropped it off and they explained what they were checking for and we discussed what issues I was having with it. I was able to pick it up in a couple of days before the next time I was due to ride in prep for a race coming up, so everything worked out perfectly. All the staff is really great!

I purchased my first road bike from Dave and he has supported me since day 1. Even went out of his way to help me find it (long embarrassing story) when I lost it. Went to N Raleigh store recently to pick up supplies and was helped immediately with a helpful but low pressure sales associate. Highly recommend!

David always takes care of me! I was having some serious bike fit issues and he got me squared away. I went from having severe pain and not being able to finish 15 miles one Saturday to finishing 50 miles pain free the following Saturday. My bike is in great hands with the team and keep me racing fast!

I took my bicycle in for a relatively easy adjustment. I knew there would be an issue or two because I tried to do it myself and could not. Trek got me right in, and Dave the service manager, got me done and out in 20 minutes while I waited. This was Friday evening at 5:30. How nice I did not have to wait until Saturday to get my bicycle back! Thank you Dave!!

We went in looking for a bike helmet and some bike accessories. Ken was amazing!! We are new to biking and he was so patient and helpful. Although with the shortage of bikes, they didn’t have the desired model. he was able to point us to a store in North Carolina that fortunately did have one. Brought my bike in with a broken rear derailleur. After a quick inspection we found brakes were shot and bike in need of a major tune. Had everything done in a week as promised and the bike literally looked brand new when they rolled it out. Very pleased. Ready to ride all summer!

2nd flat in same tire after minimal use after first flat was supposedly fixed and sealed by this shop. Couldnt fix or prevent against either flats due to $1500 bike being shipped out from manufacturer with cheap, non-removable valves/core stems. Trek quality has plummeted. Two bikes purchased over a 4 year span, same poor quality, same car dealer buying experience. Buyer beware... water bottle and mount not included.

Serious Attitude malfunction cause I wanted to order parts and do work myself not wanting to wait weeks for someone else to do it. We were looking to purchase a new Remedy it WILL NOT happen there.Also no one had mask over their face when I walked in no one had mask on in back. Pull your mask down and sky falls.Hypocrisy has no limits.

Just bought a new bike from Trek Bikes N Raleigh and I am very happy. Dave, the store manager worked diligently to find the exact bike i wanted (in GA), and have it assembled and set up quickly. He and his staff have been very responsive to making a few adjustments and changes I needed. Businesses like this who respect customers always get my business. Oh, and, that Tony guy is a real bike professional who knows his stuff. Happy to be working with these folks.

After 25k trouble-free miles, I brought my Madone in for detailed service. While talking to Nate, he inspected my bike, didnt find any major problems, and proposed replacing just the worn parts and cables. The turn around time was two days, and the staff had my bike ready for the weekend group ride. I returned it Monday for a minor adjustment which was performed quickly while I waited. I would highly recommend Trek North Raleigh and while gladly bring my bike back for service, hopefully after another 25k mile.

Sales and service staff are exceptional. No reason to shop anywhere else. They answered every question I had when purchasing my newest bike and more. Now they are giving me a much needed service on my old one.

Ive purchased several bikes with Trek of North Raleigh in the past 6 years. Its been great working with same core guys there at the shop, Nate, Pryde, Cole, and Tony. These guys are passionate about riding, and theyre on top of the latest technologies and trends in the industry. They never steered my wrong with their recommendations, and always put me on the right bike for what I wanted to do. Im not easy on my bikes, but the service dept keep me rolling. Most bike manufacturers are making great bikes these days, so the big difference is the people in the bike shop you work with. You cant go wrong with these guys.

Watch your receipt very closely. Will quote one price in person or ove the phone and then another higher price will appear on receipt. Will try another shop for future needs not at all pleased with service. Went in for simple tire replacement was charged more than quoted price in addition got home from shop ten minutes away to a flat tire. Took it back and they made no attempt to make it right. Young gentlemen doing the work could most certainly use a lesson in Good Customer Service.

The new management has revved up the customer service to new heights! Ive been waiting for a new bike rack for 6 months and Dave made it a #1 priority to fill my order. He pulled up all the stops and within a couple of weeks, I had my bike rack and was out on the trail again!

The folks at Trek North Raleigh are incredible with customer service like no other place Ive ever shopped at. Ive been in with various issues, mostly small, and they never seem to get annoyed. Recently I took in a fork that I bought there that wasnt working properly, so they sent it back to the manufacturer for what we both thought was going to be warranty service (ie no charge). When it came back, there was some confusion and the manufacturer ended up charging me $100 for a fork service, and wouldnt process it as a warranty claim. Of course I wasnt too happy about that (it wasnt Trek North Raleighs fault though). But I didnt want the Trek Store to get stuck with the bill and so I was going to pay the bill since theyve always gone out of their way to help me solve whatever problem I have. Pryde and the guys at Trek wouldnt let me pay, because they wanted me to be happy with the service, EVEN THOUGH THIS WASNT THEIR FAULT! Instead of buying bike parts online, I would strongly recommend anyone to buy from their local bike shop if at all possible because the one thing Ive learned after buying several bikes and doing a complete rebuild on one the past few years, its this: you WILL have issues and you WILL buy the wrong parts at least once, and its going to make it so much easier when you can just take that part back to your local bike shop and they will help you figure it out. The Trek North Raleigh store has the best customer service!

Similar to the reviews below, we were charged more than was communicated when we initially took our bikes in for an assessment/checkup. After a quick look over, it was communicated that we needed to replace a brake part, we asked to install kickstands, and add a mirror - totaling $110. Returned to pickup bikes to a $300+ bill because they performed their basic service on both bikes ($90/bike). Owner argued with me that his workers would never do work without communicating it was going to be done. Reached out to corporate to share this experience and they put me in touch with regional manager (Bob) who said it would be a learning experience for everyone - but offered nothing else.If you choose to use this shop, get ALL work being done in writing because their customer service is less than accommodating when services are done that you do not agree to having done. We were given a $90 labor credit for a future service, which is a wash since we’ll find a new bike shop who communicates better and, more than anything, values their customers instead of arguing that their team members/staff were right instead of the customer.Edited: I believe the shop has changed owners, or at least managers, since this review. We received an email to come in and shop with the new management, but we haven’t been in yet.

Trek has won my business today. After an unfortunate drag off our camper back in June, I brought the damaged bike to The Bike Guy & was told that they could fix the bike. Well, today after many phone calls back & forth about the progress of the bike, my husband went down to The Bike Guy to get the bike back. At first, they couldnt even find the bike. He brought the bike to Trek & they repaired the tire within minutes! We waited three months for this bike. Thank you Trek!!!

I walked in there tonight on a whim. Im from Raleigh, though just visiting the area for a few days. When I walked in, I was treated not like a customer at the end of their day, but like a friend. There were no sales pitches, just friendliness. The owner walked me around and talked to me about his stock more in a Hey, how cool is this! sort of way and not in a, You have to buy this before Im interested in talking to you sort of way. Its how a bike shop should be. Ill definitely be back in tomorrow to spend some money and any time Im in Raleigh will no doubt pop in. Places like this need to be patronized.

Bought a bike from them in February. The lockout on the forks broke. Sent it in to get fixed under warrenty. They lied about replacing the forks. All they did was replace the plastic selector switch. Clearly that wasnt the problem bc the problem persisted. Now the owner refuses to do anything about it by lying about wanting to make it right. Hell tell you want you want to hear to get you off the pk hone and will never call you back. Has stepped out when I show up. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. They do not stand behind their bikes and they clearly dont want my business.

I get all my bike maintenance done here and they do a great job. I had my bike tuned up for RAGBRAI and experienced no mechanical problems at all on the ride. They provide timely service at reasonable rates.

Worst new bike purchase of my life. I have purchased about 10 high end bikes from Trek in my life. Sadly this experience was terrible. The mechanics here are great but GM not.Get everything in writing.Even then, watch out.

I am a mechanical engineer and a salesman and I wasnt going to overspend because someone through a bunch of adjectives at me. Nate did an outstanding job in a consultative manner, giving me time to choose, making sure I rode the full spectrum of bikes, including his personal ride. I feel fully educated on the nuances of different frame types, then I went to other stores to test ride competitive brands, and now I know why Trek, and this shop, enjoy their outstanding reputation.

Ive been in a bike shop, or two.Trek Bicycles of Raleigh is among the best shops with which Ive done business. They have professional bike mechanics as opposed to people fixing bikes. Came in with questions and looking for cheap parts and they gave me the great service I would expect for someone dropping way more money. First time in, but will definitely stop in the next time Im in the market for a new rig. Very nice well kept shop.

This bike shop has great Trek bikes but is lacking in customer service. I ordered a bike June 8 for my son’s birthday which would arrive July 2. When we went to pick up the bike, we were told it would be another 4 weeks. No phone call, no communication. Isn’t that precisely why we shop at local, small businesses?

My bike is 33 years old. I had not used it for five years, they got it back up and working 100%. The price was fair and the work excellent. They were quick, all was done while I waited. I highly recommend them.

Sales staff was not very knowledgeable. Staff was also very snobby. Drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the holly park Trek store. They had a much better inventory and the staff was much more professional and helpful.

Ive owned Trek bikes for decades now. Ive always had good fortune with them and have always been pleased with the vendors. This time, they went above and beyond my expectations. I showed up at the store five minutes before closing on a Saturday afternoon. My son needed the bike for the next day and they willingly stayed after 45 minutes to fix his bike. They were super pleasant and couldnt have been more helpful. I wasnt an annoying customer to them. I was a fellow biker in need. Good people!
