I came to buy battery, but they said they couldnt test my old one as they short-staffed and their store closes at 6pm instead of 9. just a waste of time

We either made out $40 or were jacked $40. We bought four rotors for a car. The rear rotor boxes read the correct size on the box, but seemed too small to fit. I could physically drop the new rotors into the old ones. They seemed to be factory sealed. We went back to the store and showed them. The guy behind me in line says that it happens to him routinely. Of course the new rotors were $40 more.

Dont go there cheaters and I am going to take them to the court. Lying all the time even general manager Anthony cheaters everyone. I bought the battery and after he installed same battery sign came on.i want to return battery and get my old battery . he doesnt want to give my old battery which one was also good

The store itself is not bad, there is good selection and the prices are reasonable. I was looking for a tire pressure gage and they had about 20 different varieties all of various ranges and types, which is better than I can say for most stores. That being said i feel that the store is understaffed because to buy 1 item it took about 10 minutes plus there were two people working the line. This seems unreasonable to me. I think they should hire more cashiers to help expedite lines and provide customer service for wandering customers. Not a great experience here.

Staff was not very quick. Alot of people i. The store and the staff was talking and laughing not helping customers.

HUGE shout out to Will. He helped me with everything that I needed and more! Please give Will a raise as he is the model employee of the store and all stores everywhere. He has made not only my day better but also my life. I asked about a windshield wiper I needed and he politely told me I was purchasing the wrong one and then recommended me the correct one. He is doing the work of God.

Good guys that will go out if their way to help you when they can...Its always a good idea to research your specific part using their website before going in...This helps them tremendously & saves you valuable time and possibly money...

These chains stock a lot of parts and if they dont have a part you need chances are their neighboring advance although parts will have it and they can have it there for you that afternoon or the next morning

The store is open when I need it. They have all the common stuff I would need for my car, lawn mower and generator. Its more than just a store. Its a service to the neighborhood:)

The store is very neat and clean but the customer service is impeccable. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. My husband wasn’t sure about the engine oil that our car required hence the sales man came to our car even though that wasn’t required and told us which one we might need and came out for the second time to help us with pouring it into the car.that was a total unexpected service and we should have given a tip but we didn’t have it on us but he totally deserved 5 star rating!

We walked in to find car parts around front light and they didn’t have it, so we had to order online.We ordered the car parts online with stuff in the store and we also had to pay right then.Stuff said “ we will call you around tomorrow’s evening.” that have never been happened yet.We went there 2 weeks later after we ordered it.And they still didn’t have the parts, also said “ you didn’t pay yet.”But we can make sure that we paid it on record of bank.So we paid for nothing now.It’s very disrespectful and unresponsive.

They didnt want to wait on anybody in there they were too worried about what who was having what for lunch and who was going to pick up their lunch at what time and you got to order by this time I tell you that was the worst one I ever been in

Helpful staff, clean store. Didnt have my exact part that I needed (metric vs. standard) but carried a similar part that hit what I needed done.

Staff is friendly and helpfull. Place is clean and organized.

Clerk was accomodating, gave me in store discount for a part that i could have ordered online. They did not want to lose customer and i appreciated savings.

This Advanced Auto was good at first but this new manager should not be in charge, totally clueless. The oil tank is ALWAYS full, he “forgets to call” come on this job is not that had however he is totally incompetent. Basic refunds are a problem and his answer is to call the 800 number… What a joke, his answer is to drive to Autozone in NY to get done what this Advance Auto of Ramsey is unable to get done!

Great location, I was able to order on line and find out of this location had my products available in house.... 1 hour later it was at the counter waiting for me... and I saved money but purchasing it on line....

Totally disagree staffs are accommodating. Went to the store 30 minutes before closing time(9pm) and was told they would install battery 1 hr before. Also, could not help correct my online order at the wrong store. If Sears or Macys can process order from different stores nationwide, why cant Advance Auto Parts? Or, these guys just want to go home in a hurry.FYI.... I was the only customer at that time. Also, prior to coming to the store, I talked to Danny about the availability and installation of the battery and closing time, he did not mention that I should arrive by 8pm for the installation.

Very helpful staff. Just needed a few bits and ends, and some new wiper blades and I was in and out in under 15 minutes! Would absolutely reccomend this location if you need to grab something quick for a project or something. The staff werent at all phased by the list of seemingly random items I purchased, and even lended some advice for the project I was working on!

Great stock good employees ample parking and they offered to give me a hand.

Lazy customer service. Claiming they cant/wont read check engine light codes because of Coronavirus. Theyre still advertising it as a service and a whole bunch of other services but wont do this one. Shocking really

They send 20% off coupons that dont apply to anything. Wait on line for a half hour to buy a quart of oil. Their counter help answers phones while checking out on customers in line. While they do try to be thorough it stalls the checkout process frustratingly. Why not have one register designated for non lookup quick check out customers? Not my favorite place for autoparts..waiting 20 mins online 9nly 1 person in store soing everything..

Terrible customer service. Erica and Guy with gray hair cant be bothered to come from behind counter and help you. 3 times there and I was only customer in store and it seemed like I was bothering them for help. Last time I was there I spoke up about lack of service and was told by Erica See You Bye!!! She did not try to look for item on computer or check aisle to see if item was there. Other guy just smiled and thought it was older customer that way. Please dont visit the store if you want customer service.

I rushed in 1 hour before close for a new battery. The staff was very helpful, I was able to size/buy the new battery and have them install it right there and was done within the hour.

The guy at the store told me I needed a certain type of battery which ended up being the wrong battery, when I went to return it he said I can’t return it since I installed it in my car already. So now I’m stuck with a 175$ battery that I have no use for.
