On the date of 9/1/2021 My daughter wanted to return a headset that she bought for the playstation. Alex, which is the manager asked us for the receipt but my daughter didnt have it, so we asked Alex if she can locate the item in our account and she said yes. When she located the item in our account, she told us that because we didnt have the receipt she couldnt refund our money just store credit so I asked her for the return policy so she decided to look for it in her website. Because she couldnt find it, she told me that we cant return the item because its passed the 30 days. Even though it was passed the 30 days, I asked her for the return policy, she couldnt find it so she decided to call customer service for help. When she asked customer service to help her locate the return policy, customer service couldnt even locate the policy themselves. so she decided to google the policy, when she google it, she found the policy in Wikipedia and I told her, if its not coming from your website, I wont accept the policy. Then she started making excuses that the system was down and she couldnt return it which it was lies. When I told her that i was going to call corporate and decided to contact customer service in front of her, thats when she decided to return the item. Instead of standing behind her customer service and trying to prove me wrong, she should of just return the item. She also tried to red flag my number and my account for no reason at all just because she got mad that she couldnt find the return policy and she knew she had to refund me the money instead of store credit. Its not my fault that she doesnt have the return policy in front of her, she handle the situation wrong and lied to me telling me that the systems were down when her employee clearly was returning and making transactions with his system. She has poor customer service and tried to red flag my account. FYI I spoke to her in a nice respectful manner. I admit that it was my responsibility to have my receipt but it doesnt mean she has to lie and argue with me. Hopefully corporate can help correct this issue so It wont happen again.
Clean, tidy, a bit small though, so dont expect much by way of pre owned games.
Wonderful experience the Gentlemen working today went above and beyond to help us.
Great service and prices
Great staff to handle my sons gaming needs.
Very small location, not much onsite.
Not enough of anything there low items need restocked
Great customer service! Friendly staff.
Great customer service...
Great customer service, good specials plenty of inventory.
I have been going here for a few years now. Some of the employees even recognize me. I always get excellent service here, even if they dont have exactly what I am looking for. They will tell me which location to go to.
Great customer service. Really friendly staff and its game stop so they dont need to be. Enjoyed this store
This place doesnt respect announced working time.
Love that its local. The employees are all very nice n helpful.
They didnt answer their phones. When I got there, their registers didnt work. I waited around for a while and then left.
This is a small store for the location it is in. Because of this, the selection in the store is limited. However, the staff is friendly and will help you out to find whatever you are looking for. I would try out a different GameStop than this one, especially since a lot of their stock was sold out or on clearance.
Always a good gaming experience, kids get what they’re looking for every time. Dog friendly walk through Victoria Gardens.
Great experience, store clerk was really attentive to my needs. Also made good suggestions based on products I asked about and products I showed interest in.
Great customer service
Located in Victoria Gardens. They have new and old games in good condition. Havent had any problems with things I purchased.
Customer service is great i do recommend shopping during the week though you have a better chance of viewing the latest video games.
So I went online to check the trade in for some phones I had. I found that it seemed simple enough and I got my quote for $27-42 depending on the condition. I didn’t see really any other specific details. I went into the store located on Foothill blvd. I had 4 phones all were unlocked and ready to be plugged into there checker to make sure they are not stolen. I am then told by the store manager that she has to call Loss Prevention because she thinks there is a policy on trading in phones. I asked her where this policy is and she did not seem to have it or even know it. She leaves to the back and returns a few minutes later stating the limit is 3. I asked for life, per customer, per day? She didn’t seem to know. I then asked to have the number of the District Manager and was told she doesn’t know if she can give that out. She calls Darren (sorry if I may have spelled that wrong). So Darren says hi and how can he help. I tell him what I have felt with this far. So I ask him what is the trade in policy on phones? He says he doesn’t have it in front of him because he was at home. I informed him that apparently LP had made a decision and they know it. But no one can supply me with it. He informed me that LP makes the decision. So he asks me to give the store manager my info and he will contact me ( he actually did email me so I will give him credit for follow up). So after this I say to the Store manager ok so what are we doing. She says 2 phones. Takes the 2 and does there thing. Then tells me actually I’m only comfortable doing one for 10.00. So I do it at this point I am very unhappy. So it would seem that online prices are apparently different from store systems. Also that no one but LP knows this somewhere existent policy. And they can change their minds when ever they want ( in fairness their website small print does basically say this, shame on me for not reading the small print). While I do respect a business to run how it wants. I do think people should be properly trained and maybe be a little more clear to consumers. With all of that said they actually did me a favor really. I found other retailers actually give considerably more. So for that GameStop thank you for denying my sale. But seriously you presented yourselves in a very disorganized fashion.
I always go there and its great
Great place to relax and walk, just be mindful that the narrow corridors behind buildings smells of cat urine due to the feral cat population, I would avoid these areas with small children and stick to the main streets.
Best one stop shop for all my used game needs.
Great place to get games and game accessories
Good selection on XboxOne games new and used. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
Where they call men men even if the dress like a Whamans
Awesome fun and finds here! Knowledgeable staff.
I went on the GameStop website and reserved a pop to pickup in store. Victoria Gardens showed up as the closest to have it in stock. A few minutes after reserving I recieve a call from a GameStop employee telling me they lost it and can’t find it. I asked her if it shows up to let me know. A few minutes later I get an email confiming my Pop was reserved and ready to pickup. I call the store back, Brad picks up and I ask him to confirm that the email was accurate, his response was you already got a call, we told you we don’t have it. I replied with then why are you sending email confirmation telling me it’s ready to pickup, that their is an option to tell the consumer it’s not in stock. He had no good response and said the email was a fluke. Well Brad I hope your corporate office finds my complaint a fluke.
Got good service and deal!
Quick and easy
They got good prices
Got what I needed great service
Went in and manager told me a collectors edition game I wanted to preorder wasnt up for preorder yet, so I preordered the regular version(which was up for preorder). He said hed call when the collectors ed. was up for preorder. He never did so I called the store and he said the collectors edition was sold out for preorder so I lost my chance to preorder it. He never told me it was sold out when I first went to the store to preorder it. Sucks being lied to.
Great place to buy games. Often feels very crowded
So unorganized...game release is at 9:00....at 9:10 manager is busy pushing sales...I will Never preorder a game here...did not set up anything for the customers ie contest..giveaways??? ....Ps ..line still not moving...9:15
Great Selection of Used Games
Even without long lines they take forever just to get to you and Gamestop is trash always will be just like their trade ins even though they sell it more than it is worth
Excellent service
This Game Stop never has the used games behind the counter that they have displayed on their shelves. The staff are rude, and wont help you with anything. Wont go back to this Game Stop again.
Wouldnt let me buy an amazon gift card with a gamestop card
A Little pricey unless you buy their used games.
Great service.
When you have no future
I Went in the store, found my game, bought it. Went home played it. The store served its purpose.
Pretty cool place
Walked in and asked how much credit I would get for trading in a Xbox one controller. Was told a specific amount after disclosing that the controller was a older one. Came back with the controller and suddenly the trade in credit is half of what I was told
Low staff and long lines... Its ridicilous
Theu said if I have to trade a game in I would have to let them see it
It was good
I just cant with these people..
Very short staffed here. 1 employee and at least 5 people in line.
Had what i wanted
Staff was friendly. These stores lack older games though.
