The burger was pretty good. Comes sliced in half and held with wooden picks. I think this is a chain in the western states back home. Never had it but heard of it. Never thought I would see it here in Korea. Its best to get the set menu with the fries, soda is an extra ₩3000. Comes with a cute ketchup smiley face.
After many hamburger houses near Express Bus Terminal, I visited Johnny Rocket after a long time. There are two stores in the express terminal. There is one place in Pamie Station Square and another small shop in the food court on the first floor of Shinsegae Department Store. I visited a store located in a food court. Its a late lunch and a meal, so dont worry about calories. Smoke house with cheese, smoked bacon, onion fritters and smoked barbecue sauce. I was giving a discount including a drink. We visited acquaintances and ordered garlic burgers. In the case of Johnny Rocket, the hamburger menu includes French fries, and drinks are ordered separately. For 2,000 won, you can turn your french fries into an onion ring. Its quite expensive, but youll get a greasy and savory hamburger. The smoke house was very satisfying. In the case of garlic burgers, the menu was developed to suit Korean tastes. Garlic Tteokgalbi has a strong patty. There are so many delicious hamburger shops these days, but I still think it is one of the chains that faithfully reproduces the taste of typical American hamburgers.
It is not the tastiest burger in the world. It was rather difficult to settle because there were a lot of visitors. Also, the price is the most frustrating. I did not have a drink on the menu and the hamburger and potato chips. I asked them to order separately. But if the hamburger is cheaper, it is not. I ordered a hamburger that looked a little better, but it was over 12,000 won.
I ordered a set of hamburgers, but they are good enough. (I think the quality is much higher than Lotteria) The good thing is that the food court in the Shinsegae Department Store is literally a war of seats, but the Johnny Rocket store is only available to hamburger buyers. (Its a natural story in a way, but...)
