Great tasting 2 Carne asada with cilantro, onions and Pico de Gallo is just perfect for lunch. Tacos were so good I forgot to add salsa, guess they didnt need it. Definitely recommend you eat here and its the only place in RSM to Mexican candy in bulk, well kind of, more like family size but nun the less this is my go to for authentic Mexican chingaderas! 😉 enjoy

Great takeaway for lunch. Ordered the carnitas combo with pico de gallo and two al pastor tacos with tomatillo verde salsa. Food was ready early and super tasty. Both dishes super flavorful and good portions. Will absolutely be back again.

Been coming here for a long time. Food is great but they are always out of something. Today no sauce for enchiladas or chilaquiles. Look at these burritos? Never seen them so small. Really disappointing. Need to find another place...update they also got the order wrong. Had to drive back and get our money back. Too bad.

I ended up here as my brother had suggested to me to come here to grab some Mexican food. Its mainly a small supermarket with Mexican products. In the back they have Mexican food to take out, which I did and loved! You can also buy different types of meat here as its a butchers shop too.

Not a bad place to get groceries. However, some of the fruits and vegetables are not as fresh as they should be. I stopped buying them from this place. Again, only a few items. I hope they improve on this.

Food is great and they also have the best carne asada at the butcher shop for your BBQ money can buy (although a bit overpriced) BUT they are also really skimpy and unfriendly here. A few times I ordered a 5$ burrito recently and they ended up making me a regular one which I didnt know the difference at the time. Once they actually opened it back up after I went to check out and took stuff out before they sold it to me for 5 without saying anything, really?! Couple other times they tried to charge me the full amount and told me at checkout they dont have the smaller tortilla size for it today...after I clearly ordered the 5$ one and no one said a word. I mean cmon. Only after complaining they gave it to me with a grumpy look on their face.Also the 5$ burrito has gotten smaller over time. Theres absolutely no deal here. You get what you pay for. They just make it significantly smaller and call it a special, its like half the size for 40% less.. Friendliness could also be improved.But the skimping on their special and how they handle their own mistakes really turned me off and I wont be going there again for a while until I crave some of that carne.

We just stopped by and picked up some tamales (pork and beef), pozole, and rice. Very, very good....I will be back. Their meat selection is awesome for the grill.

Just walked down to this place from work to eat. Waited to order when the two workers walk by me and a someone else comes in and was served immediately. I walked out went over to Celindas was served and had a great wet burrito the way I like it. Wont go back to stink Fenix anymore.

The food is not bad, but the pre-made tortilla chips are unsalted, greasy, and taste and smell as if they were fried in old oil. The food is marginally better at El Fenix, but the chips and guacamole are better at Celindas

I normally would give them a 4 or even 5 stars but their service has gone downhill. The food is always good. The problem I have is that they have crispy tacos for taco tuesday there is a sign that say they are 1.5 per taco on tuesday and 1.99 a piece other days. I have been going for years and over the last three months if you try to order crispy tacos any day but tuesday they tell you they cant do it. What is the purpose of the sign. Just say tacos on tuesday only. I know it is a small thing but just seems that the staff has gotten too lazy to make the food you want.

Great meats and they have premade Masa. The meats are well marinated. Breakfast burritos are pretty good too.

The food was good but the service was horrible. My buddy and I got a torta but they only made mine and the bad part was the owner was the one who took our order. And they made a burrito for a lady who came after us, first. And the bad part about that she didnt even wait in line like the rest of us. What happened to first come first serve ! Went for tacos, beans n rice. They had two sizes of tacos. The al pastor was delicious. 4 types of homemade picante sauces. I had the red and the green, sorry I forgot what chiles were in them. Im sure theyd help if asked. They had great pico de gallo also. No combo, but a plate with rice n beans was just 2$ extra. Its a carneceria market so for space, seating is outside. Standard liquor store type drinks. I choose the Arizona teas and water.

The tacos here are the best tacos I have ever had... I get carnitas and carne asada. About the price you would pay for high quality tacos elsewhere, but they give you tons of meat and its so delicious.

Found this the last time I visited my parents for the holidays. Wish I knew about it when I loved in the area.

I really love carnitas; flavorful, moist, and succulent carnitas. El Fenix makes an excellent carnitas burrito. They make it your way... rice, beans, cheese, cilantro, onions... whatever floats your boat. Ive only had their carnitas burrito so I cant comment on their other dishes. This is authentic Mexican food, not the Americanized version. If the rest of the menu is in any way like their carnitas burrito, then it should be delicious. I do know they make their carnitas on site because I asked. Highly recommended.

Groceries are overpriced and old. Meat is overrated. Almost $16 for 3lbs of meat. Have not tasted the food, but I saw that it was $3 for a single taco.
