Its Wal-Mart, 5 star is just a register or three open away!

This place has went downhill no one ever answers the phone.. no one helps with automotive.. on the phone over 40 mins waiting for someone to pick up no one did. and no one helps pandemic has. made it worse

Within about an hour of filling a prescription there for the first time, I started getting automated calls.The first was an automated voicemail saying they would call back to verify my participation in this telephonic harassment.The second time when I picked up it was an automated system with no option to not verify or to unsubscribe, or be placed on the do not call list. Repeating over and over press 1 to verifySpecifically while I was in the store I opted out of notifications,twice, when asked.Automated calls with no option other than verify participation in order to get more automated calls, with no option to opt out or be put on the do not call list. Clownishness like this is exactly why people opt out.I could type a wall of text to convey my annoyance, but in short:*They know the system is faulty.* They keep using it.* Because they are not allowed to stopusing it.*And once it decides to start calling* there is no option other than press1 to verifySecond visit: They said they took my number out of the system, but I just got another call. So Im driving back there again.Third visit: The staff was trying to be helpful despite my snappiness during the second visit. They have no idea why it keeps calling me, my number is supposed to be gone.It appears that using faulty technology to fix faulty technology really doesnt work very well.

Sparta Walmart must treat their employees like dirt. The poor cashier was obviously just thrown into the self check nightmare. She was almost crying out for help saying I cant do everything This is the second time I have been there and had the same experience. I pity their poor employees. Its that Walmart could care less about them. I cannot have a peaceful shopping experience at this store. Most of the time, I just want to get out of there ASAP. Why do they take some nice naive person who is trying to earn a living and just chew them up and spit them out and hire the next one. Shame on you, rich Walmart heirs.!!! Horrible. I am just sick about it!!!!!

This store has went down hill the last 6-12 months. Use to be I could find everything I need there. Know Im lucky I can find half of it. The building is starting to look ruff and worn. Sad it use to be my main go to place. Not so much anymore.

Rantoul IL store needs help. Saturday and 1 check lane open with people in line thru mens clothing into jewelry. Self checkout eliminates jobs and does not provide customer service. It took 35 minutes to check out.

They really need to clean up the place and stick the shelves better, not to mention the employees are rude.

I was driving on I-57 when I got a flat tire. The tire was ruined so I put the spare on and drove to the next exit to find Walmart and went to the auto center. I bought a new tire, the guys in auto center got it put back on and I was back on the road pretty quick.

THIS supercenter out of town (visiting my FAM) had EVERYTHING I thought🤔 I needed and then some, I literally had to pull myself and daughter and brother out of the store or we would still be shopping and not back home now lol!! oh yea, everyone was friendly, store was clean, and like usual everything was in different places, so we were in a egg hunt trying to find the golden one, but WHAT a treat trying to find it!!

Not enough check out people. Shouldnt have to wait for the purchase of a few items.

Dirty and quite ghetto, no carts, no wipes, they arent keepong stuff clean and no way to do it yourself. People who work here do not seem to have any pride or ownership of the store, just employees.

Brought in a tire that needed patched. The people waiting on me were quick & professional. The tire was completed within 20 minutes and on my way. Great service!!!

Used my link card. They charged my debit card the full price. Had to go to customer service. She had to punch in my purchase manually. Took awhile.

Until that company start making a 0 tolerence for not wearing mask in all Walmarts especially Rantoul and they start answering their phone at all hours. They will get 2 stars, but actually 1

Tire center is horrible.They want to charge me $95 for a $60 tire. Oscar is very unprofessional and cant keep his stories straight, tells you one thing, walks in the store and tells you 3 more different things when he finally came back out. I will never buy here again.

The staff had no idea how to fix a cash register issue. Mind you this was not a self checkout. Somehow the problem was turned towards me. I do not work at wal mart...seems like on Saturday night no one does. Idiots!

The pharmacy staff is absolutely amazing. Ive only been going here for 6 months and they know me by name. I was with my last pharmacy for 3 years and they didnt know my name.

My only complaint is when Im waiting to check out and the line is longer than all get out. Oh. And when people decide that in the middle of said line, they decide its break time.Hilarious.

Can you believe that they would be out of Tidy Cat Litter? They need help as dog and cat food was in short supply. One person took off a coat she tried on and threw it on the floor. Shelves were in a disarray. People are nasty!

Im not sure that this is safe for people that dont carry guns or are not able to defend themselves. The store has become very very dangerous. The security guards are on the take. And the theft is out of control. And the employees are actually in control of the managers. It is a very scary place these days.

Trying to get customer service AND OR tire and lube to answer their phones...been trying for 2 days now, multiple times a day DURING business hours and have yet to have someone answer. I dont live in town so im not able to just go down there to have a couple questions answered.

This WalMart really SUCKS, shelves are poorly stocked w/ workers walking around doing nothing. And the service counter is atrocious w/ people who dont know what their doing, and forget about the check out lines, 20 lines w/ only 3 open and people waiting for 20 minutes just to check out.

About 23 registers only 2 open, about the laziest multi billion dollar place I’ve ever seen. If your employees you pay are too lazy run a register downsize and use all self check out and only 2 registers like they run must of the time and stand around and talk like the so called ‘managers’!!!

Think Ill be going to another store. Ive LOVED Walmart for YEARS..but I WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! IF I wanted to be a CASHIER, Id get a JOB as one.. when I shop BIG ($300-$500) I DO NOT want to ring it, and BAG IT myself!! Ill spend my $ ELSEWHERE.. so LONG Walmart.. Ill stop by for a FEW items, but NOT BIG SHOPPING TRIPS

The store was picked apart, it looked like shopping during the Christmas holiday period. Difficult to sift through items on the shelves due to the disarray.

I bought a blue ray player and it stopped playing blue rays they i just want to exchange it for a working one he said it only rang up for 17$ and thats all that he could do Im so unhappy with this store ill drive to Champaign before i go back in there

Its a good place to go and get anything you need for home or for a birthday or getting a bike.

As it seems to be the norm due to the pandemic, some shelves were pretty bare. I was able to get what I needed or I found a substitute. Employees were stocking shelves in the grocery area. Produce was well stocked and fresh. I do enjoy the Rantoul Walmart because its friendly. I enjoy the man who is at the door as we leave. He puts a smile on my face.

Turned into a disappointment. Seems like all the employees left. Cant find anyone when you need them.

Awful I would never go there. I. Cant even give them 1 star. Made an appointment 2 weeks in a row and when I there they told me Noone was there to do it and never called me to tell me so I drove 40 minutes twice for nothing. Then stopped ro grab something and hear the employee bad mouthing me to another employee. All I said to her this is the second time I drove here. I will not be going back.They wont let me post this without giving atleast 1 star, but they dont even deserve that 1.

I like walmart in Rantoul better than any other Walmart in champaign or urbana. But I went to Walmart to purchase my groceries for my Sunday dinner and some snapple of course.

I tried to return something that I bought for 19.97 and the lady gave me 5 for it. I was trying to explain it was wrong and she wouldnt listen. I then brought another item that was the same and show her it was wrong. But wouldnt listen we asked for the manager and went online to show her the price cause it was a collector toy item when the manager came she refused to listen and let us explain and said that its not her fault we didnt have a receipt and was really rude and accused my husband of yelling when all he was just trying to do was explain. Im an assistant general manager at a restaurant and would never treat a customer like that. Even if she wasnt going to help she could have at least listened. I never been treated like a criminal because I was trying to give my husband what he wanted for his birthday. If ur planning on returning better make sure that you have a receipt.I took it back to Walmart in urbana where it came from and got what I payed for it. They have some scam to rip people off

3 managers try to help me I was trying to buy a Box of paper which was $17.33 clearance.They expected me to pay that price when there was only 4 packs a paper in the Box now the Box normally costs $28 for 10 reams of paper. half of that is $14 which there was only 4 reams of paper Walmart trying to screw customers is what is happening and this is Walmart in Rantoul Illinois. 3 managers and not a resolution how stupid can Walmart think the customers are. Then I call corporate to complain and there is kids screaming in the background. Hmmmm. 03/15/2021 And weeks later no one returns my complaint as said by the call home center representative. Lmao. Walmart what a JOKE9/25/21Oil change and Walmart broke the oil filter housing. Pushed my truck into the parking lot and said it was on me to fix it.Called corporate 3 times in an hour and still nothing.Walmart will be paying dearly for this .

I visit this Walmart location at least once a week. I always receive excellent customer service! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean every time I go and shelves are always stocked. (with the exception of product that is sold out) I highly recommend this location for your Walmart shopping needs!

In the first place, on two items I needed, there were only large sizes available costing me more money than I chose to pay. Secondly, not only was a customer allowed to run around the store unmasked- including past someone recovering from pneumonia-but an associate was helping them. Thirdly, when I tried to fill out a Walmart survey, their site said my receipt (marked 9/3/2020) was more than a week old and disallowed my participation in the survey.

Woman with the short hair in the pharmacy needs to be spoken to. Everytime I go to pick up my meds somehow they’re not ready or my insurance doesn’t cover it when it does. She talks to where everyone in line can hear your business.. disappointed

I’m in walmart anywhere from 3-5 times a week. Always forgetting something or running out of something and having to run back. The isles are always pretty well stocked and the items that they run out of quickly, you would think they would place a bigger order. (Staple Items - Diapers sold by certain count, All size Formula Canisters, certain Food products; ETC. Rarely use the bathroom, but when I have to it is always clean and looks nice. Typically several check out isles open PLUS Self Checkout, which I love. (So much quicker!!) Ive only ever had one bad employee experience and I haven’t seen that employee working in about a year now. But (Edith) I think is her name, the elderly lady in self check out is a Gem! She’s the nicest and very quick to help. I’ve never witnessed a single employee without a face mask or Face Shield on. There is always a couple people in the front counting people entering and exiting and bringing in carts. (They could sanitize the carts and handle bar better!!!) And the elderly gentleman at the entrance/exit is always so cheerful, nice, kind and polite. He always makes you laugh. Which during the times we’re going through is very nice. I do think it’s time they have the store open more hours. It was 24. Then 9-6, then 8-8 and now it’s 7-11. But living in Rantoul or this being your nearest Walmart/store/grocery store, we need a place open Incase we run out of essentials I.E. - formula at 3 am or have a sick kid or ourselves that need medicine past 11pm and before 7 am. (Non-Covid related - OTC Medications) But overall, the store is great! The people are nice and the selection of products is growing! Sorry this is so long but I saw some posts that just totally dragged this place and I have never had an experience where I felt like they deserved a 1-3 star review. So 5/5 from me!! Please get back to 24 hours soon! We need it!!!

Clean parking lot not like Maple Grove in Rantoul which is a hell hole Maple Grove has deep potholes everywhere people please be careful when you drive in that parking lot I dont know who owns it but theyre not taking care of it

Went early this and was in and out in 20 minutes. Their store was clean and well organized. There was plenty of workers to help find what I needed.

Took my 91 old mother for the first time in 4 mos. due to COVID.Im 64 and very susceptible so was very surprised that they have workers who take seniors around the store and help them. Clint was the employee who took his time and was patient and understanding.Thank you Clint and Walmart.

Walmart is what it is, a big box store. While I would prefer to shop at mom and pop stores, sometimes time doesnt allow it. I go here only when necessary.

Store is always out of stuff we need never stocked. Usually always a mess. They only had 2 registers open with long lines. It was around 11am and the cashier said hed been there since 6am and hadnt had a break.

I like shopping the different Walmarts to see whats new in theirs!

Clean and organized. The employees are very nice as well. I was looking for diapers and they didnt have any out on the floor. The employee checked their inventory and let me know when they were expecting their next delivery.

No cashiers. When going to check out there was 1 cashier working....3 cashiers with a lane closed signs....the one cashier working had a line of 12 people wanting to check out. I asked to speak with a manager and was directed to the service desk. when I got to the desk there were 4 associates at the desk just standing there talking. I asked for a manager and one of the associates said I am....i asked why there were no registers open and was told they were working on it BUT THE 4 OF THEM JUST CONTINUED TO STAND THERE. I would of just left my cart there but my spouse pointed out that if I did that then the irresponsible associates (at the service desk) would not of cared if we purchased or not..very very disappointed!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Cashier was very rude and wouldnt listen to either my friend or I. And she put my friends shopping into my cart keeping in the store because of problems with my friend doing a return.

First off the last couple of times I have gone to the pharmacy around 9:00 a.m all the pharmacist are on break. so Im waiting 30 minutes for six people to come back from break for insulin. They need a better system for this. They need half go on break then when that half comes back the other half goes on break. They also have a very rude cashier. Its like she doesnt want to work there.
