We have been doing business with these guys for 20 years. I love their service! When you have their tires or wheels, they change out the winter and summer tires free. Just went on vacation and checked out our truck and trailer. All at no cost.... Fantastic service!

Last time I checked this was a family business. I took my 3 kiddos almost spent a hour in here to be told my kids needed to sit and be quiet. I was walking around with them. Yes their voices can echo in their. But to be told by a employee for them to be quiet no thank you. I will spend my money somewhere that treats kids with respect.

I called the other day to get the price of repairing a nail/screw infected tire; the person I spoke with said flat tires were fixed/repaired FREE as long as the problem was not in the sidewall. NEVER at any time was I told this was only if the tire came from Schwab. After getting there at 0740 and they opened at 0800 I was the first one in, it was 50 minutes later that they fixed my tire, after waiting more than 20 minutes to get my vehicle in. OK, I assumed if they were doing it for free I was not a priority, but I went back in to make sure they didnt need anything else, when I found I owed $20+ for the repair, thats when I was informed it was only Schwab tires that were free. If you charge, be UPFRONT about it ! Its only by chance I went back in, otherwise I would have driven off thinking I had a free flat fix ! ! !

I made an appt at 2pm for new brakes on my truck. Dropped the rig off at 930am and headed out for the day. Got a call at 3:15 telling me I needed new rotors all the way around...$1800!!! I dont have an issue getting new rotors if I need them... Just dont like that huge price dropped on me unexpectedly. My issue is that this very truck has been to this same Les Schwab center 3 times in the last 10 months for over $4000 of work and ALL 3 times Ive asked them to check the brakes. Never once did they tell me I would need new rotors. Im pretty sure they didnt get worn out in that 10 months and any major wear would have been visible in an accurate inspection.Their website specifically says that when they inspect brakes, they inspect the ENTIRE brake system. Arent rotors part of that system? Then when my husband questions them about this, the guy literally says they dont check the rotors. Hello!!! Really. Then the guy back peddled and even admitted hed worked on this truck before! Again 3 times Ive had the brakes checked. They even told me the last time this spring that they were at 25%. Why then didnt they look at the rotors so I could have been prepared for a huge bill and would have budgeted appropriately. Makes me worry about other aspects of their work. Ive been a Les Schwab customer since 1993. But this center is lacking in something. Very disappointed.

Not so happy with this Les Schwab Tire Center. This would be in reference to our horse trailer. We had taken the trailer in twice within less than 3 months, being in reference to the left front axle. The 1st time they indicated the problem was due to the electronic brakes and everything has been repaired. The second situation was very similar and tire had to be replaced, but the tire shop in Helena indicated the problem was do to a bent axle. We went to Les Schwab in Rathdrum to see if I could get reimbursed for the tire. The manager was friendly and indicated they dont do axles and we didnt get reimbursed for the tire. So we took the trailer to Eagle Manufacturing and upon just seeing the tire, he indicated you have an axle problem. Even the shop in Helena even indicated on their paperwork, bent axle. So having the trailer at Les Schwab twice in Rathdrum, they didnt notice this, when two other businesses did. I feel since the trailer was in twice in reference to the same axle, they should at least recommend that the axle should be checked. Pom

Although helpful staff should incorporate digital tire gauges to be more accurate with tire pressure for todays newer vehicles.

Spent 2.5 hours waiting and still couldnt pull in my van to get tires put on. Catered to the flat tire people, even after I was first. Also, not a good idea to do appointments on top of walk ins.

Super disappointed in the customer service and prices here. A 4 hour wait and the tires were double the price of Discount or Walmart. I should have went to Discount. They have lost me as a customer, I will not use them again.

Got my tire patched, was told it was free, came down, went to go get it patched, and they informed me that I had to buy their tires in order to get free patches. Not even 3 hours after I start driving, my tire goes flat. Ended up coming back again, they told me that I needed to get a new tire, and wont refund me the patch since it was temporary, also will not refund me for the tire that got damaged

Dropped in without an appointment about 15 minutes after opening for a winter tire switch over. My tires were not mounted. I was told about 1.5 hours so I elected to wait. It took 4 hours...many times longer than it has taken any other Les Schwab I’ve gone to for the last 15 years. The staff was pleasant and courteous. I will continue to use Les Schwab as I have for a very long time, due to the almost universally good service, I just will not use this location again.

Worst Les Schwab I have ever been to. All staff was extremely rude. I have been a Les Schwab customer in Bonners Ferry for 25 years and have always been treated with respect. This place is just pathetic.

Very easy to work with. We have been Les Schwab customers for over 15 years. Whenever we have had a problem they have handled it promptly and professionally.

Showed up 5 mins. before my appointment. They didnt get in my car until 7 mins. after my appointment scheduled start time. It took them 50 mins. to do a summer/ winter tires on rims swap. Unbelievable.

Very overpriced. I brought in two trailer rims with worn out tires on them, size 480 - 12/6. I told them I needed new tires, and I didnt imagine they would be too expensive, so I didnt ask for a price. They said they would take care of it and call me when it was done. The good news is that it was done quick, within about an hour. The bad news was they charged me $65.99 per tire! They gave me a Tread Star brand tire, which seems to be unique to them. After my shock, I came home and searched for tires. Similar tires are $32 at Discount Tire, $33 at Tractor Supply, and $23.94 at Walmart. After taxes, fees, stem, etc, my total was $156.33. It would have been less than half that if I had just gone to Walmart. I feel ripped off. Ill never go back to Les Schwab without having done a price check first. They are friendly, however, and quite efficient.

Les Schwabs is the only place to go for tires and related services. Friendly helpful staff. Great extended service. All of our vehicles run on their tires. Highly recommend:)

Excellent service and workmanship! Jeff was great. Allignment requiring offset ball joints up front on an 05 modified/long arm suspension Wrangler. Solid job. Jeep hasnt tracked so nice in years. Highly recommend Rathdrum Les Schwab.

If I could give a negative star review I sure would! I went to Les Schwab to have my snow tires taken off and the factory tire put on. I was told the time would be one and a half hours to complete the job. No problem. I left the business and came back two hours later. As I waited an additional half hour and no one calling me up I went to the front desk and asked how much longer of a wait it would be. Then the person I was speaking to said to me we tried calling you to offer you a priced to prolong wear on your tires but you didnt answer so we never started on your car. My response: I didnt want anything else done to my tires other than what I said when I checked in. All I wanted was remove my snow tires and put my factory tires back on then balance them. You should have just done what I asked for. No apologies no anything. Then Im told it will be an additional 45 minutes. I called George gee to schedule an appointment for the same service. Les Schwab was charging$145. George gee$69.the very same service.I told the employee that I want my tires loaded up in the back Im not having them do the service. The lady at the front desk was rude and just walked to the back not even asking why the problem was. The employee that failed to do his job in the first place loaded my tires gets in my car and backs out quickly then hits my brakes hard enough to make a screeching sound. His hands were filthy and he got dirt and grease on the inside of my car door.This was the poorest business Ive delt with when it comes to something like this. Please save yourself a stressful day and avoid doing business with them at all.!

I wish I would have gotten the name of the fellow who switched tires. He had a great sense of humor and finished the job quickly and to their high standards. Im very happy with the service at Rathdrum Les Schwab. 🙂👍

I’ve always gone to Les Schwab for my seasonal tire changeovers. Before Les Schwab started doing online appointments I would spend 2 hours waiting for my car to get done. I finally tried their appointment system online and it is amazing!!!!!!! It shaved 2 hours of waiting off my plate! 10/10 recommend scheduling appointments online with them. It helps out a ton and also helps them out! Thanks Les Schwab for getting me in and out in no time!

Went to Les Schwab Tire in Rathdrum Id this morning. I wanted to get my tires checked and rotated, I had a warning that I had an underinflated tire. I was told it would be 2.5 hours. I waited - checked after my 2.5 hours and was told, it would get done today but they didnt know when. Not the kind of service I have had at other Les Schwab dealers. Poorly managed.

So thankful for Les Schwab and their employee, Corbin. Last night about 15 minutes after closing, Corbin took care of an immediate situation and let me park my dream car in their garage that night and took care of it all this morning. Thank you!

If I could do zero stars I would. We came in needing a skidsteer tired aired up. The manager told us about an hour. So an hour and 10 minutes later we came back and were told it hadnt even been looked at. They said it would be another hour their best guess & and said he was doing us a favor.... I didnt need favors, I needed a job done and would have paid for it. We went over to another tire shop who took care of us instantly. What is sad is even the other tire shops know Schwabs messed up tactics. Thing is - we were willing to pay money/be paying customers! We were on a time schedule and were lied to. Unless you have 8 or 10 hours to waste, I would stay FAR away from them.

I deleted my negative review because one thing about Les Schwab is that they do work hard to correct any issues or problems that come up. The estimate for the wait time today (one hour) was spot-on and I got estimates that I requested before I left. Thanks to J.T. who came out to my house to work on the car.

Second great experience. Was misquoted by $150 but they honored it. Very nice people & thorough. Diagnosis & fix may have saved my life... My previous mechanic totally missed it. Will continue to use them!

Post Falls was swamped with business, couldnt fix my flat tire until two days. Rathdrum Les Schwab got on it after I drove 20min. They fixed the leak in an hour, while I waited.

Called to ask how much tire rotation was, they said free, I asked even if I didnt buy the tires there, they said yep. Came in and they charged me $32 because I didnt buy the tires from them. Might as well go to Walmart.

Absolutely horrible! This location has worse customer service than McDonalds. The last 3 times I made a payment on my account I went in and got set up to do a tire balance and rotation, all under warranty, and was told it would be about an hour and a half. All 3 times I waited over the hour and a half and they had not started it yet. When I complained to the person in the store all he did was ask if I wanted my keys back. No apology for not living up to what they said they would do, not being honest about wait times, this location is one that ruins the reputation of the rest of the company. Other locations? Definitely go there. This one? STAY AWAY!

Great tires and wheels. Prices are high. Purchased new tires had them mounted on new wheels also purchased new sensors 2 days before actually having installed on vehicle. Took 3 hours to have the new tires, wheels and sensors installed on vehicle. Might not have been so bad had they just explained the situation! Difficult to recommend an operation that works like this especially when they charge as much as they do. Sad face☹️

I called this store to get a price for mounting tires that I had purchased on line. The tires were for a piece of heavy equipment that I use on my ranch. I made it clear that I was bringing the tires and rims to them. I was given a quote over the phone by an employee. The quote was acceptable and I advised the employee that I was enroute with the tires. When I arrived at the store, another employee waited on me. He refused to honor the quoted price I had received and instead quoted a price well over double the phone quote. When I challenged the discrepancy in quotes he stated that since I did not buy the tires from LS then I was not entitled to the phone quote price. I told him that I had no problem with the policy of charging more for mounting the tires that were not bought at LS, however, the employee I spoke to on the phone was well aware that I was bringing MY tires to be mounted and he quoted the lower price. Based on that quote, I made the 10 mile drive into the store. Therefore I maintained that good customer service should dictate that they honor the quoted price. After several minutes of argument, the employee finally agreed to honor the lower quote, although it was clear that he was not happy about it. I will not patronize this LS again!

I love this place. I drive truck, so frequently we need our tires fixed or changed, these guys are always Johnny on the spot, they get it taken care of and speedily to boot.But today, I just had a stupid flat tire on my car, a screw felt the need to bury itself and cause a day long slow leak. They pulled my car right in, removed the screw, patched the hole, all in under 20 minutes. How much? No charge, Sir. They fix flats for free.Now I suppose the only way they could have made this a better experience is by throwing in a free lobster dinner, but even so, they always get my business.Thanks guys!

Went in to get my snow tires on. Just a quick swap of tires. Called ahead to see how long wait time was at 11. They said about 2 hours, I showed up at 11:30 they took my keys and said I’d have about 2 hours wait time. No biggie. I got up to ask about my car around the 2 hour mark they said 3 hour wait time. Alright that’s fine no biggie. Got up again around an hour and a half because a girl who was here afternoon I was got her keys back. I was confused so i asked again how long the lady told me again about 3 hours. I told her I’ve been here since 11:30. Didn’t care super rude remarks and just not a very helpful lady. It’s now almost 4 and still my car has not moved. I don’t recommend coming here if unless you want to be treated poorly and waste your entire day being told the same wait time over and over. Poor service.

Les Schwab has always been my go to for tires and service. This will no longer be the case after several extremely negative experiences at the Rathdrum location. Professionalism and customer service are poor at best. The lady up front is rude and the employees in the back are nothing short of sluggish with no concern of time. Will not be taking our vehicles here again and would not recommend this poorly run establishment to anyone.

I am a now former longtime customer of Les Schwab, I live in spirit Lake and normally have taken my car up to priest River and have always felt like I was treated fair, I just started taking my car to the new store in Rathdrum last year. My first visit was a good one, so I decided to return again this year when it was time to take the studs off. Seeing as how I already knew the cost was going to be around $55 I was all set. Walked in is greeted quickly, the store looked nice everything was going fine, after they looked me up in their computer and took my keys the $55 price popped up on the machine. At which time I offered to pay, but was told will just have you pay when were done. No problem I thought, so after a short 45 minute wait they had all four tires swapped and I was ready to go. When I went to pay the salesperson behind the counter informed me that my bill was $81.00, so I inquired as to why it had gone up as I have always paid around 55 or so to get them swapped out. At that time I was informed that because I had not purchased the tires from them it was a special price. I informed him that at the time I purchased my tires Schwab didnt have them in stock and I was forced to buy them from one of their competitors, and that I had never been charged by the store in priest River or their store on my previous visit this special price, I was told there was nothing that they could do about it, so I decided to do something about it buy writing this. Good luck to the rest of you as I did not have the best of luck with them.

The Rathdrum Scwabs is about one of the few Schwabs left that tries to still operate under the old When you come in we come running policy.

Horrible experience! I paid a lot to get my breaks done and a few months later my breaks were making an awful sound I had to go back 4 times and my breaks were never fixed. Instead of going back to the same place or the 5th times I went to the one I Hayden and the problem was fixed!

Brought my tires in to be changed and was giving a pour excuse that my tires are old and HAVE to be replaced. Took them else were and they said they were just fine. Les Schwab was going to charge me $14 per tire for balancing plus $6 to put air in them. What that...I will never come back.

Very disappointed in this store. My husband stopped into the shop to see if they would tighten a rim on his truck after he was flagged by a driver to tell him the rim was falling off. The manager told him no that he wouldnt have his shop tighten it. When my husband asked why, he was told by the manager that if he tightened it he would be liable. My husband explained that if he drove off and the rim fell off he could possibly kill himself and others. The manager absolutely refused to do it. Considering we just bought a new used vehicle that needs new tires, you can bet we wont be going to Les Schwab in Rathdrum. This isnt the first time weve had issues at this particular Les Schwab location. Maybe the corporate office should have their managers learn some customer service skills. We wont be back!

I have never seen their come running service that is advertised. Three times now I have taken a car for a rotation or snow tires swap, had to leave the car because the quoted wait was hours, then I get a call at the end of the day saying they wont do the work because my tires are to worn. Tires have wear bars to indicate when they need replaced. I am not going to prematurely replace my tires that have not met the tread life warranty so that Les Schwab can make a sale. At the very least I expect someone to inspect my tires when I drop them off rather than make me wait all day only to have to take my car home and change my item tires in the street in the dark because Les Scwab wasted my whole day. THREE TIMES on different cars and different tires. A long time professional mechanic looked at my tires and told me they were plenty good for more use. I have since shopped around and found better prices and far better service.

Horrible service and wait times. Dropped my truck off on a Tuesday afternoon for a single u joint fix and was told it would be done Wednesday mid morning .. mid morning was told they had to get a hub from dodge and it would be in Thursday morning and it would be done mid morning Thursday... understandable. ......mid morning thursday after taking the day off work to pick up the truck. was told the part wasnt going to be there til 1pm and it would be done at 4....called at 4 was told theres other trucks ahead of me and it might not be done today. Bs. It better be done its a hour job with hand tools and they put cars in front of mine and mines been there for 3 days. This has happened numerous times at this location dont take your rig here for repairs if its your only transportation it will always take substantially longer than quoted...days longer. And jacks an idiot worst manager in a customer service position that Ive dealt with ...perfection here I come.

While I love Les Schwab here in Rupert, ID and feel they are an amazing company. I was less than satisfied in Rathdrum.I dropped a tire off and was told it could not be fixed and they sold me another tire and wheel. The salesman told methey would get right on it and get it mounted and ready. I went home and came back hours later, only to find out they still had not started my job. It set me back, cost me time and money as I was miles away from them and they did not seem to care. This doesnt happen where I live now. But inRathdrum, :(

I would highly recommend Les Schwab! A few months ago I had started noticing a weird noise coming from the back passenger side of my vehicle. So I decided to take my car to a mechanic to have it looked at. Well after issues with getting the mechanic to double check that my car was still under warranty (the guy didnt believe me it still was, even after I showed him all my paperwork) and explaining what type of noise I heard and where it was coming from, I was told they could fix it.I had also asked them to go over everything else on my car just incase as I had planned on taking a small road trip soon.Well, long story short. I ended up paying out of pocket almost $2000, and thats with almost $1500 worth of items covered under my warranty, for them to fix my car.I picked up my car at 5pm (just as they were closing, they locked the door just after I walked outside).As I started to drive away I noticed that the noise I had heard was still there!! The mechanics office was closed at this point and they didnt answer the phone.On my way home, frustrated from spending almost 2 grand that I really didnt have, I drove past Les Schwab, I decided to swing by and see what they would say! Couldnt hurt, after all I just blew $2000!!They took a look at my car and within 2 minutes, they found the problem!! After all the BS I had been through with the mechanic, the guys at Les Schwab found the problem! A broken lug nut! The guys a Les Schwab had it fixed within 30 minutes!! And it cost me less than $50!!The employees at Les Schwab on Government way, are all amazing and incredibly honest people!

Had a slow leak in one of my tires, took it in, had it fixed and it didnt cost me anything. Ive always loved Les Schwab. They care about you and are always looking out for you.

Over the past four years, I been disappointed at the slow service, charges for every possible thing they could think to charge (we rarely charged for tire repairs and often didnt even charge to put peoples snow tires on - they have always charged me!), disrespectful attitudes of the employees, and less than prompt service or even close to the running to greet you service.Today was the last straw for me. My wife took her car in to have her summer tires put back on that Rathdrum Les Schwab took off last fall. They called an hour later and informed me that they would not put the tires back on because they did not have enough tread. I asked why they didnt inform me when they took my tires off last fall that they would not be reusable at that time. They had no explanation. Nope, they took the tires off, charged me handsomely for it, and put them in bags and sent me home with them without another word.

Went in to Rathdrum les Schwab get my snow tires off. Just a quick swap of tires. I was the first customer of the morning at 7:30. At 9:30 truck still parked in the lot. 5 cars that came in behind me where worked on and my truck was still parked in the lot. I guess being the first one of the day doesnot apply anymore crazy! I asked why my truck was still not worked on and was told there where other cars ahead of mine when I ask that I was the first customer and that other customers came in behind me where already done I was told the my truck was on the list. I ask for my keys and left very upset and did not even have my truck tires changed. Very bad customer service experience. I was told not to do business with the Rathdrum les schwab that they are know for bad service. Lesson learned. I will go back to the Hayden les schwab A+ customer service like I always have in the past. Just wanted the convenience of using the close store where I live.

Dropped my car off at 7 am, was the second car in line. Went back at 4:30 and it still wasnt done. Just needed my snow tires switched out. Granted they were busy, but really 9 1/2 hours isnt long enough? Finally finished at 5:30.

They cross threaded lug nuts on my car, when I called them about my flat. I thew the tire was unfixable, we told them we needed a new tire, when my husband went to get it, the Donut was still on the car, and the technician came out and said heres your new tire. My husband said, Are you kidding me, she works, she works. He put the tire on the rim and threw the Donut in the trunk, not where it goes and secured. We were both pissed off, should have had him demoted, or docked his pay for 2 days.

Ive worked in the tire industry for a little over 6 years, 3 of those years were for Les Schwabs. Not this location though. I purchased a set of used aftermarket wheels and tires privately that were Les Schwab brands and took them to this location to have my tpms sensors swapped and new lug nuts. The manager was awesome, wonderful customer service and easy to talk to. We went out together and looked at what I had to see if they could put them on. He said no problem, lets get it in.So they did. It was in for about 5-10 minutes before The assistant manager, Jack I think, came is and said they werent going to fit, too big... Heres where they earn the 1 star of UNsatisfactory service. He said they bolted it on and said that my truck needed a lift to fit them. They rub so much that I wouldnt be able to turn all the way either direction, and they put my stock stuff back on. So I asked to see where they rub and if they could just trim that area. He pointed the area out where he said they didnt clear.I didnt believe him for a second.I took the truck home, bolted everything on and guess what, I didnt rub anywhere in forward or reverse. Not only did they not rub, but I could keep my mud flaps as well!So, the reason why I give you one start even is because I truly do like the manager there. But jack is a moron and does not deserve to work in the industry that he is MUCH less knowledgeable than his own customers. Either way you look at this, the assistant manager lied to me, refused to SHOW me where the problem truly was, and charged me $16.00 for a service they didnt even perform. Sorry Las Schwabs in Rathdrum, youre employing people who truly are over paid and under experienced.

Absolutely appalling place to go!!!!!!!!! I have been to this place more times than I can count and not one time have I not had to physically walk in the back shop area to look for somebody to help me because they are talking about their day and what they have planned for the afternoon. This is almost every single time! also their unwillingness to talk to you like youre an intelligent person like dude you work at a tire store youre not a genius and just because Im bringing it here doesnt mean Im an idiot either it just means I dont feel like working on it this time. Nothing but horrible over priced service.... if u like waiting 2 hours for them to swap ur rubber out. Place is junk..... go to oerfecrion tire they atleadt have a souk
