Very prompt service. Best value, they don’t price gouge you like most shops. Communicate extremely clearly (even printed a diagram for better understanding of a shift assembly issue). They keep in contact after services to ensure that all issues were fixed to your standards. Definitely one of the best mechanic shop experiences I’ve ever had.

They fixed everything on my list and even added a new trailer wiring harness so i dont have to use an adapter anymore. I was going to give this place 5 Stars. Quick easy and cheap.Except I paid for a tire rotation and then 2 weeks later Im stranded with a flat and another nearly bare tire, which has never happened because I regularly take my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance including tire rotation and air checks. How did they rotate tires with no useful life? Thats extremely concerning and very dangerous, not to mention negligent.

The guys at Laurel Heights are great to work with. I hit a deer two days before my family’s vacation and had it sent straight to them. Not only did they repair all of it while I was on vacation they made sure I enjoyed my beach vacation and handled the communication with my insurance company. I only had minimal communication with them and my insurance company when on vacation as they worked together to get us all squared away! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else and really appreciate those guys going the extra mile for me!!

These guys are great: true, small-town honesty and integrity. Ive gone in there multiple times for State Inspections and other things, and each time, theyve been honest about what the car needed. For instance, I took a car to a Firestone in the area and they said it needed nearly $1000 of work. I took the same car here and they honestly reviewed the car and said that one, Firestone was wrong on about 97% of the things they said it needed, and two, that Firestone was way-over charging. To further compliment their honesty, they referred me to another mechanic that could do the needed repair faster and cheaper than they could. So $100 in repairs and two hours later, my car passed the safety inspection. I dont like getting my car repaired, but its a lot easier to justify when it actually NEEDS to be fixed for safety or emissions-related reasons. These guys try to establish trust instead of trying to make an easy sale based on fear.Ive referred them to other people too and theyve shared similar experiences where theyve gone in because of being told they needed a certain repair by another shop, only to be kindly informed by this crew that the car is fine and doesnt require servicing. Not many people in the car repair industry are honest enough to turn away work to build trust. Solid guys, good workmanship.

No stress mechanic.

1st. I tried to share info about my car n got yelled at n scolded. 2nd the man I talked to talked fast n was annoyed by my questions. 3rd he quoted me a 880. Price n then additional 60 to replace lights. 4th. He charge me for bulbs that I already had. But he wouldnt use. 5th he charged me to service air conditioning system but clearly said I wouldnt have air. He said my pressure hose was leaking but I got new pressure hose summer 2017. I know it bcuz it was an 80. Hose N I had air no problem Oct. 2017. But in changing condenser n trans lines tgat brand new hose is ruined. In addition for charging to service air conditioning system 100 bucks he charged me an additional 21. For Freon. He charged me a 30. Shop fee. He never told me to fix trans line n replace condenser also included servicing air. In fact I asked him if changing condenser wud effect me having air b4 he started job. He said if I had air b4 he started I wud have air after he finished. He said he was gonna turn air on n c if it was cold n call me back. He didnt. N when he did call back it was to say my pressure hose was leaking freeon so I wudnt have air. Then when he put charge on bill he changed n said I wud have air in summer for a bit but it wudnt last cuz pressure hose leaking. I feel taken advantage of.He charge me 500 bucks for labor. He did have to take off front end to get to area he need to work on. He charge me for condenser n trans cooler hose assembly 300. Bucks.It look like thats 1 big part online. N only 200. I couldnt talk to him to get educated about my research vs his price. But internet said that job at highest should b 367.I am not sure if he over charged me or not cuz he been open 51 years n doesnt have to explain.He said he didnt want to argue but he argued about everything I asked him.In the end there is a tiny slight drag when I accelerate. No way cud he have test drive my car cuz I got it back on Tuesday n roads were icy.But. I could feel power n my car when I step on gas. If not for the slight tiny drag sometime in acceleration I wud think the car was 100 percent.I think the work is great. If not for tgat tiny slight drag I wudnt feel so sick about the 910. He finally charged me. Though he did not replace the lights over my license plate like I requested n he said he wud. 1 high beam 1 brake light n lights over my back license plate.I feel completely uncomfortable contacting them. If the drag gets worse I will. But he made it clear tgat if the same problem still exist something else cud b wrong. N there cud b more charges. I dont have any more money.I think he will deny my asking him to replace bulbs over license bcuz he said one thing n then changed it. It seem his changes were contingent upon somebody listening to him talk to me. Thurs n Friday n Monday morning he was very short n arrogant. Tuesday he was better but my questions led to my being educated. His words n me being told about him being in business for 51 years. However he was a young man n I doubt he was older than 35.In the end I am not sure whether he cheated me or not. The car had a power like when I first bought it which made me smile when I opened up on 435.But there is a slight tiny drag to it. N I dont feel comfortable taking it back in.

The bearings in my rear differential were going bad and they replaced some of the parts that were damaged instead of replacing all of the damaged parts.One month later I had another shop open the rear end because it was making noise.The other shop says it needs to be entirely replaced.Laurell Heights Automotive does not own up to their inadequate repair job leaving me to finance the repair again
