What a GREAT place is Raytown Repair!! My husband needed his air conditioner condenser replaced in his Toyota Prius C, and the price the dealership quoted was a bit high. We received a recommendation to see Glen at Raytown Repair, and were SO glad we went there!!The folks are all very friendly and helpful, from the moment my husband called to schedule the evaluation of his car through the time the work was done and he picked up the car. The young man at the front desk (Ive forgotten his name, Im afraid) was extremely courteous and efficient. The cost of the evaluation was negligible, and the cost to replace the condenser was extremely reasonable (roughly half of what the dealership quoted). It was just a week from evaluation to replacement, as the part had to be ordered, and Glens work was superb at installing the new condenser. Now my husband is cool and comfortable driving around in the summer heat with functional air conditioning. THANK YOU, Raytown Repair!!

Not as fair in pricing for liquids such as brake fluid. 1 gal was over $40.00 where you can get 1 gal for $14.00!! Big difference and makes me wonder what else they are over charging Senior women who dont have a friend or relative to tell them if hes being reasonable with his prices!! Glad I have a son who took machine shop and worked in one too!! Went in for one thing and then they wanted to fix something else that I didnt go in for!! Polite guy though.

I always do my own repairs but had issues I couldnt conquer so I had them diagnose and estimate the repairs needed. They were given the job as the appraisal was reasonable and finished with my complete satisfaction. I will highly recommend them to anyone. Even the skeptics!

I have taken my 95 Tacoma to them for several years with no complaints. Have been treated fairly and if something came up they would call for a decision. Used to do most of my own maintenance but there are some things I cant do and Raytown fills the gap for me. They have been good to me and I keep coming back.

They are honest! I brought in my car because I was told I needed thousand dollars worth of repairs (this was coming from a major car dealer, after getting an oil change there), to get a second opinion. Not surprisingly, the car was fine. Nothing major needed fixing, and definitely not urgent. Their prices are very reasonable, and they are efficient. Even if you dont live in Raytown, its worth the trip. Nice family, cute dog!

Only auto shop i trust for my repairs

Although the customer service is good, I just have a hard time getting in there as their hours do not accommodate those getting off work at a later time. And also, this repair shop isnt open on saturdays or sundays.

Ive been seeing these people for over a decade and they are personable, honest, and knowledgeable.

I did some work on my car and apparently I forgot to plug the low-side sensor back in for the A/C (obviously didnt know what I did wrong, then.) Took it to them, and asked them to check it out. Tech on the phone said itd be $60 to check the pressure levels. Their phones went out that day, totally not their fault, but they went ahead and evaporated and charged my system, which I know it did not need. My $60 check and plug-in of a sensor became a service I didnt need. Will not go back.I previously had the wrong amount on here; I honestly do not know why. I looked, and their reply of 146 was correct.My apologies for that - it was my mistake.

They told me I needed ball joints and a front end alignment over 700 dollars worth of work to pass inspection, I went somewhere else and the ball joints were fine,it was a 50dollar part,stablizer bar.Very dishonest and I thought I had found an honest shop!
