Horrible experience! Do not go to this place! Sales reps do not know what they are talking about, and will try and wiggle out of any and everything they have suggested. Suggested a amp that was entirely two small, when I called to have a conversation about it after purchasing, the rep got upset because he thought I wanted to exchange it! Simply wanted to know if there was an amp bigger so I didn’t blow this one. Do not spend your money here! I definitely won’t be back!

This place is a great place been going here for years been knowing about them when they use to be in banister Mall always had great products and perfect in there craft. Til this day I still go them and it’s 2021 tru to the game 💯

I have gone to this place a few times over the years and every time they make me feel like they dont want or appreciate my business. They are over priced with a limited inventory. Shop online.

Did not have the stereo I wanted (was listed as in stock on their website) so he tried to sell me an alternate that was a reasonable swap, only problem is he added 30 bucks to the price. (Same price I expected for the model I wanted - however the model he offered lists for $30 less) not a great first impression. Bait and switch with a little price gouging on the side. Look, I know stock is low and I know you want install customers, but this is just bad business. Ill never shop here again, too many alternatives.

I went to Car Toyz a year ago to install a remote start in my daughters car. We were very happy with the install and have been enjoying the remote start since. Just today we had Car Toyz install a Car Play radio system in the same car and couldnt be happier. The price is what I was told and the install was very professional and was done on time when he said it would be. Would recommend them to anyone wanting car electronics. Ill probably have them install an amp for my motorcycle this summer. Spend your money local!!!!

These people do not have customer courtesy. I had bought a new amplifier for my truck. It had a whine sound. Wanted them to fix it. He asked me if I could bring it back. I agreed. Big mistake! The little weisel working the counter accused me of damaging the wiring. I told him I pay to have work done. He called me a LIAR to my face. I wanted to deck him but he wasnt worth it. I wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire! They suck!🤬

This place hooked it up. I think they did a nice clean job in only an hour and a half! They got me a loud booming bass system for the price a big name audio place in Independence quoted me for INSTALLATION. I got same day service and install. The system slaps and its installed clean. It came with a 1 year warranty. I definitely plan on coming back for a remote start and LEDs some day. Thanks so much guys. Seriously

Not satisfied I went here to get my audio installed and they will continue to do the work with out telling you extra stuff you need and now I need a new battery. Horrible and never again

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!! Its a money trap!!! My vehicle caught fire dealing with these shady individuals!!!! They are all about shortcuts and making money. Ive had to have all the wiring pulled from my vehicle, just to find out they no longer carry the junk wiring anymore. The brother at the front desk has a sarcastic attitude and has very little knowledge of car and audio equipment! I knew I should have done an about face when the installer made me feel uncomfortable once he find out I was a veteran from Operation Enduring Freedom. His response was you know Im from the Middle East. Not that it matters to me I just wanted a good install. All in all stay clear of these shady characters if you want nice quality work!!!!

I had a great experience with the Car Toyz team. They worked very hard to get my stereo into a car that had been wired aftermarket. They told me everything that was needed as they worked. Very honest and easygoing. I would recommend them to anyone.

I went to this place to get a replacement for my CD player which was not working, but the am/fm radio was working fine. when I picked up my car the AM stations would not come in and only a couple of FM stations. After a bit of negotiations they give me a refund minus $100 labor. I later with the a place in Independence and received a new system. Basically I paid the place in Raytown $100 to break my auto antenna.

I have been going to these guys for years. They are very reasonable and extremely helpful. I took my wifes car to them for a remote start and the got it done for half the price of most shops. recently took my car to have stereo installed and it looks great. Highly recommend !!!!!!!!!!!!

Generally a good place. Better off bringing your own stuff for them to install. Their products are very overpriced. The last time I had them put speakers in my car, they did it wrong and it kept draining my battery. Because of that, I had to get that problem fixed elsewhere, along with a new battery.

They blew my alternator and my battery so I had to call tow truck they have the worst service I would not advise going here

Spoke with them about installing new radio, said to be there first thing in the morning, I showed up the next morning and they were closed. Called Topeka store and finally got someone to show up in Raytown. Said they had emergency so couldnt open, wife had baby, but they have more than one employee. Ended up haggling with them on price as initially told one thing then that changed. In the end I was okay with the price, but the problem was the job that they did looked HORRIBLE. I have several pictures after they worked on it and after I took it to the dealership and had it fixed. It looked like a teenager had worked on it and in fact that is what happened. I tried to fight just the labor amount on my charge card for bad workmanship, and they responded to credit card company that I knew what the cost was going to be. I mailed all the pictures to the credit card company and they said that yes, it was a terrible job, but I didnt include a second opinion. Not sure why I needed a second opinion when it was obvious by the photos that it was awful. Anyway, if you go make sure it is someone that is actually qualified to work on your vehicle that does it or you will have a mess too.

Caused significant damage to my sons dash while installing a new stereo and now lying about it stating it was already there prior to the install. Buyers beware... I will end up in court over this! :( Any reputable company would have documented the damage prior so they would not have been held liable.

I came in to get a very nice sound system in my car and Im more than happy with what I got, the service that I got from Moh and the cartoyz staff was most definitely a 10/10! Cant wait to upgrade more things in my car!

Recently had a radar detector installed. It had many parts and so far so good. I would recommend trying to get a firm price prior to installation they seem to fluctuate.

I had a speaker system install in my new truck, there was damage caused to my hood because my truck is lifted and it hit the over hang of the building when they opened the hood . When I tried to address the damage issue with them Im was told nothing will be dont to fix the dent / scuffs they caused.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE.REPLY:Since I cant respond to your reply, I have spent a great deal of money on my vehicle and I know everything about my truck. I washed it the day before bringing it into your shop and I hand dry it. There was never any damage on my hood. I washed my truck a couple days later and saw damage that wasnt there before you installed my speakers, so please dont try to twist things. You caused the damage and then tell me you wont fix it. I will be filing a small claims in court since you make pure business decisions and I will also spread the word to not do business with you.

Brought my car to get 2 speakers installed. Told me he didnt know how nor the time to install speakers. Not a good audio business to turn away work.
