Tim was great from start to finish. I had my heart set on a forester that wasnt in my budget but he helped me find a car that I am happy with and met my budget!

I called ahead from Northern NJ to make sure that they had a Tacoma on their website still in inventory. From the call, I had received constant updates from Chelsea while I was making the 90 minute trek out to Reading PA. She couldnt have been more helpful on the phone. When I got there, she paired my wife and I up to work with Joseph N to take out 2 of the three Tacomas that they had on the lot. The first truck wasnt a fit, but Joseph got me comfortable with his extensive knowledge of the vehicle. You can tell that the man is a go getter. He was so friendly and genuine during our interactions. I have been to many car dealerships, but this time around, I truly felt welcomed and knew I was in great hands. The dealership has a policy to set you up with every piece of information that they have on the vehicle, which definitely puts your mind at ease when getting a vehicle. Following the sale, I wasnt just pushed out the door to the vehicle, they made sure it was freshly detailed and took a picture of me and Joseph with the new truck. I am so happy with my new truck and Joseph, Chelsea, and Brian definitely set me up to succeed with it. The following day I was welcomed by a call from Joseph directly congratulating me again. It was a long drive to get out to Reading for me, but well worth the trip for the experience and comfort throughout the whole process. I bought a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium with 93k miles February 2019 for $12k. Buying experience was good, nothing bad during test drive.20 miles off the lot and the low coolant message comes up. After 4-5 times taking it to their service dept to get the it fix turned out the engine was bad and was replaced. From the time I bought it to the time it was finally resolved was 2-3 months.The fuel pump also needed replaced from the tank level sensor not working at the low end.Now trading in the Escape for a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport at a different dealership May 2020.The replacement of engine was done for free but severely reduce the value of the vehicle.** Tim was very helpful during the experience.

Bought a 2014 GMC Terrain. Took 3 weeks to get it off the lot bc it had issues. Should’ve been a red flag. Drove it off the lot... leaky front tires, rusty shocks, camera issues, etc... right off the lot! Driven rarely, have it not even 9 months and I had to get a jump 2 days in a row 3 weeks ago. They kept it overnight, tell me absolutely no issues. The last 5 mornings I’ve had to get it jumped. Took video as proof. Now “the battery is bad”. $160+ w/their “discount “. Woman argues w/me that she called me and left a msg (bc I hadn’t heard from them). She didn’t. Then apologizes bc she called the wrong number (she checked when I asked for proof). And for some reason she constantly brings up someone else’s acct every time I’m in there. She can’t even get my name right! Don’t leave a msg they never call you back. Completely disgusted. Sold me a lemon and cover nothing... even w/the extra coverage I pay for. Never again!

I was looking to help my mother sell one of her two cars after my father had passed from COVID in March of 2021. I went onto Kelly Blue Book to get an idea of what the car would sell for which prompted more than a dozen car dealers to start calling and email me. It was far too early to entertain offers since we didn’t even have the title yet due to having to straighten out my mother’s estate. Eventually the emails and calls stopped as I wasn’t responding to them anyway... all except for one. Chelsea at Autoride of Reading kept at it and I honestly felt bad that I kept ignoring her so I finally called her back. We spoke at length and she couldn’t have been more friendly and personable. I told her when we received the title that I would be out to see them first and that’s exactly what I did. Autoride of Reading then offered my mother more for the vehicle than she had expected so she was absolutely thrilled. The entire staff was very nice and I never once felt that they were going to try to low-ball us or pull any shady tactics whatsoever. The whole process was so much easier than I even expected. I just want to say a heartfelt “Thank You” to Autoride’s staff and especially to Chelsea for being so incredibly patient and kind. Five Star customer service here. We had searched and searched for a good, used, older Jeep. We made the trip from Frederick. MD to Reading, PA because of a Jeep we saw on CarGurus online and conversations with the dealership. Buyer beware of predatory loan practices and coercion tactics employed to make you buy a particular vehicle. Not sure if its the dealer engaging on purpose or not with Credit Acceptance Corp., the biggest auto loan scamming company with more BBB complaints than any other. If you have less than perfect credit or need to finance do it through you own lender of choice. High pressure to finance a car you absolutely dont want with unacceptable terms that make you pay twice the sticker price at the end. The cars offered are however, descent, use cash or dont bother.

Purchased a truck from AutoRide on 9/10/20. Called ahead and made an appointment letting them know which vehicle we were interested in and that we were bringing in a trade-in and that we were prepared to take the truck home with us. When we arrived we were the only customer in the building. The sales process & trade-in evaluation was a little slow, but as soon as we were provided with the trade in amount, we said lets do It. Well let me tell you, the process after this was Super Slow. Reggie (our sales rep) processed his paperwork, and we were sitting there for 1 1/2 hours waiting on the paperwork to be completed by the manager. We didnt even need financing. I finally talked to the Sales Manager, and he said: Oh, we are currently writing up 3 vehicles and are very busy, and well get to you as soon as we can. The whole process took 2 1/2 hours. Its not supposed to take this long to purchase a vehicle. Reggie was nice about it & apologetic, and most of the wait was beyond his control.Updated 9/21:AutoRide has evaluated my situation, and taken steps to correct the long wait times we incurred. We were given a personal phone call apology from the General Manager, and a nice little gift for our inconvenience. This is a class act rather than trying to defend the situation with excuses.Thank You

For questions we had that she did not know the answer to, she was efficient and found out almost instantly. Not only was she knowledgeable but she was friendly, humble, down to earth. First of all, I research everything... I had a list of 10+ cars within a 200 mile radius of home, including condition, miles, fair market value, asking price, etc. Most were listed at well over fair market value, and the sellers were unwilling to budge on price. Furthermore, looking for a used car inevitably causes you to have to communicate with some unethical people; All very stressful indeed. In contrast, AutoRide is the best used car purchasing experience you could have, I believe. The car was priced at fair market value, and is in great shape. I drove 4 hours each way (through New York City even) to purchase this vehicle, and it was worth it! Everyone I corresponded with at AutoRide was responsive, respectful and ethical. Special thanks to Chelsea, Brian, Tim, Yinette. Tim even showed me another classic vehicle that I was interested in seeing just because it was interesting to me (with no desire to purchase); Now that is dedication to customer relationship if I ever saw it! I found two of the same vehicles 2012 Mazda 5 that I was searching for back in March. Unfortunately the current situation ( world shutdown ) had put everything on hold till recent. I called on Thursday to a very patient sales department and made an appointment. Last Friday ⁶/⁵/²⁰ I was able to come in and figure out which one if any were coming home with me. The sales dude Jeremie Moyer was very kind, helpful, and patient. After a short test drive in the first vehicle I had made my decision. Jeremie was on top of it, taking care of everything while I waited anxiously patient ( outside of course ).He approached me for whatever paperwork, information, or questions he needed. Frequently apologizing for the way we needed to do business (social distancing). He even offered goodies of drinks and snacks.I was in and out of there in less than a few hours. Not surprised to see such high reviews after visiting this place. Seriously, the nicest independent used car lot/dealership Ive ever seen. The place was sparkling clean. The vehicle we came to see was ready, clean and running when we got there. Salesman (Sam) was super nice. Manager (Brandon? Bryan?) also was super nice and not high pressure (they work on salary, not commission). I didnt even end up buying a car there (they didnt have exactly what we wanted...although the car we saw was nice and priced very fairly I thought) but I still felt like I needed to write this review because the experience was that good. Next time I need a used car I will come back. GREAT job AutoRide, keep it up.

Will definitely come back to Auto Ride when its time for my next car! I dealt mostly with Ryan, who was great. Very open and honest about costs, process, etc. No surprises. The offer for my trade in was more than fair, and higher than Kelly Blue Book. Very happy with my experience.

This dealership came highly recommended but when i went over i first was passed off to a less experienced sales man when i expressed my strict budget and my strong stance on not financing.I was constantly being told financing is what Id have to do.After being shown two lemons in my price range with significant damage I chose to take my business elsewhere where i wasnt told what I had to do rather i was sold what i wanted.Thank goodness cause I got exactly what i asked for in my budget at another dealership and am actually going back to purchase a second vehicle.

The people here were very nice and helpful. I felt welcomed by the employees there and the sales men made me feel like they were actually interested in helping me. They had a lot of patience with me and were willing to work with me to solve any issues we came across.
