My husband and I have a service contract with this company that was transferred from previous owners of our home. We recently had a tech visit for our A/C on 8/13. I spoke with a representative inquiring on what the billing would be, in advance of having someone dispatched. I was told that the visit would be $109 and would be further discounted 15% with contract. I was assured that there would be no additional charges unless parts or repair were needed. At the end of our techs visit, he stated he believed we need a new compressor. He proceeded to write a bill for over $300 dollars that included restarting the system as well as a discovery of problem charge. Obviously, we took issue with that billing, as he never informed us of any additional charges before taking actions. We refused to sign the billing issued, as I do not agree with the additional charges. We followed up on 8/17 with the associate that I had had initially spoken to. Said associate ( Allison) stated that she told me the $109 was only for the first 15 minutes of the visit, and after that we pay hourly. Eventually she adjusted the bill to around $220 with the 15%. I still did not find this to be acceptable, since I did not agree to a 15 minute visit for $109, we are well aware it would take more than 15 minutes to resolve, and its ludacrious to imply that wed agree to that. My husband followed up as I was unable to reason with Alison, and he was disputing in a professional manner, however the associate became irrate. She said she understood that I was refusing to pay my bill, which I corrected her stating that the billing was incorrect and I intended on paying for the service initially agreed upon. Her assumption was that I was upset that my A/C was broken on the house I just purchased, which is not the case. It is a matter of transparency when doing business to be upfront with service and costs, which I took issue with in this transaction. Moreover, its offensive to trivialize my legitimate concern with the service. In our conversation, the associate was unprofessional and ultimately hung up on me without resolving the issue. I asked for the owners information which she did not provide, I also left a message on the owners voicemail. This email is to provide visibility to the conversation, my intention is to pay my due as discussed, and to formalize a complaint on the representative who was condecending/rude/unprofessional to us. My hope is the owner will reconcile this situation with us, and we wont have to cancel our services. The person I spoke to said she was the manager, but later added she was not the owner.

Everyone that I have ever dealt with at Elite has always been very polite and helpful. Sheila is great, she is always cheerful and very helpful when you call or in person. And you cant find a nicer, well mannered and personable person than their delivery driver - Pete Fenstermacher. He makes driving that huge truck look like hes driving a Mini. The test for Fuel Delivery Service is when the weather turns cold and icy. Elite passes the test with 5 stars. Their friendly office staff and prompt personal service sets them apart from the customer service departments that are not even in our state. The pricing is very fair and we are very pleased with them as a LP Provider.

Everything they have done for me has been prompt, courteous, and professional. They are very friendly in the phone and thoroughly explain every detail of contracts, fees, and so on. Their service people came on time for delivery, burner, and ac services. Even came almost immediately when there were problems. They are knowledgeable and open, relatively affordable for me as a homeowner as well.

My husband and I have had Elite fuel for many years for oil heating. When we moved out of Reading we were delighted to find out we could still have them as our provider at our new location in Bernville. There were times we had to call them for servicing the heater for a problem and they were out the same day. Sheila in the office is terrific and always pleasant. Our delivery service is great, we never have a complaint about it. We couldnt use any other company.

Elite Fuel Service has provided heating oil for my family for many years. Ken and the office staff are great to work with. They treat all their customers with respect no matter their situation. My mother-in-law was on a limited income and Ken and the staff treated her great. I will always recommend Elite Fuel to my family and friends, keep up the great work.

Ken is very helpful. Even though Elite couldn’t provide oil service to me as soon as I needed it, Ken was still very helpful and recommended an alternative method to heating my home since none of the heating oil companies would be able to make it to my home until the following week and I was running low on oil. He was patient, kind and caring, even when I called back for additional advice after my pipes froze due to the low temperature in my basement. Since I can not attest to their delivery service capabilities, I’m only rating Elite with 4 stars but customer service was definitely a 5!

I have been with Elite Fuels for years … From the moment they took over a Warranty Issue with my water heater that another company was giving me hassle in honoring … To times where their Drivers have unexpectedly gone out of their way at the end of their day to deliver oil to me when through my own neglect I had let the tank get way too low …. To their annual cleaning and maintenance of my Oil Burner keeping it in great condition …. I recommend them to everyone who asks …. My experience with them has always been exemplary !!!!

After waiting 10 days for Thrifty Propane I called Elite and got same day service at no additional charge. Sheila was Wonderful!!! and helped me order the exact amount of fuel that I needed to stay within $2.00 of my budget. I am totally thrilled with my experience with Elite and plan to be a regular customer going forward.

Leaving this review because I cannot get a hold of the owner.If you don’t want to be valued as a customer this will be the company for you to get services from. If not don’t bother. The customer service rep is rude and unprofessional. Not willing to explain to customers why he/she is being charged the amount they are being charged.The rep did not bother to explain why we were being charged so much. Even if it was a misunderstanding on either part, they should have explained it thoroughly.As far as delivery goes they’ve done good. But you guys need better customer service. Propane and oil isn’t cheap and the last thing you want is some snotty person answering the phones !You guys just lost 2 customers ! That’s worth over $800 of propane every month ! Way to go 👏👏FYI I’ve called to get a hold of the owner and left voicemails. No one has gotten back to me and when I called back to speak to the owner the rep said “you’ll never get to speak to him he’s never here”

Everyone we have interacted with has been professional, prompt, and friendly. When we call for oil delivery they send someone out as soon as possible. We utilize their budget plan which has always been fair about determining our monthly payment and have been willing to lower it based on prices.

Its rare to find companies with true customer service these days. Elite Fuel Service provides that and much more. Ever since I ran out of oil several years ago, theyve been taking care of me. The employees are always polite and respectful. They have saved me from many cold nights when my old furnace wasnt quite doing its job and put up with me, kindly, until I learned that I need to be on the automatic refill plan. I highly recommend them if you are looking for oil service!

There service man changed a motor on my furnace and never discussed it with me and charged me 500.00 . The first week it didnt work rite, I had to call them back, they charged me again for a service call . He said he had to bleed the line which he never did. Then I ordered 150 gal of fuel oil, and they had the driver fill my tank . I had to pay the bill of another 188.00 or they were gonna send it to a collection agency . I will never deal with them again, and I dont recommend anybody else to deal with them ether.

My furnace died on a Friday night I called on Saturday and they were out within 2 hours and got my heat on. Very dependable and willing to go the extra mile for their customers.

None of us will soon forget this winter with its record breaking temps and dangerous wind chills. I was running low on oil and since I was selling my home I had cancelled my contract with my previous oil company. I frantically called NINE oil companies to get a delivery before I ran out. Elite was the ONLY company that called me back (after hours) and got oil to me the NEXT day!! Not only that, but the woman who spoke to me explained how to check my oil level, go get some kerosene, and dump it in my tank to prevent running dry and getting air in my lines. This single mom could not be more appreciative!!! Thank you Elite!
