House of Design is The best place to go to during the Holidays. If your in Red Bluff this lil gem of a place is well worth a visit. They all sorts or Christmas decor and Holiday gifts that would appease anyone. My favorite is the very unique way the Display Christmas Trees upside down!

Spent a pretty penny here.Loved it, until I checked my receipt after arriving back home in Chico.I was so excited after my purchases, that I didn’t even think of looking at the receipt.(My Mistake)One of my purchases was a beautiful mermaid doll. I asked the price & was told it was $324.00 .The receipt said $399.00, a $75.00 dollar difference. After searching for a price tag on the doll, I discovered there wasn’t one.I called back the following business day to speak with the manager & was told by whoever answered the phone, that she would help me.After explaining what had happened, she said that I was charged the correct price & that People make mistakes, so the quote was wrong & there was nothing she could do about it.GREAT way to do business!So BEWARE, check your receipt as soon as you get it, if shopping here.I will not go back !! I came here passing through town during the Christmas season and just WOW, this place is incredible. Inverted Christmas trees filled the edges of every walkway making it feel like you are exploring magical pathways. Most of the gift and decor items seemed very unique, not something you would find at Walmart. The prices even seemed very fair! I was expecting to over-pay considering the uniqueness. I heard she may be closing up soon, so hurry in before you miss this experience.

I look forward to seeing it every year. It’s the best Christmas/home decor store I ever been in. And I’ve been in many. There trees stand out far above any department store. Your in amazement when you walk through the door.

Beautiful items and store. The manager is a bit of a snip, so I dont go very often. The other gals are as sweet as can be. This wasnt just once it has been everytime.

Great selection all year round. I always go here for inspiration for my own decorating. Great staff, always nice and friendly. A little crowded sometimes, but that just shows how popular it is.

An amazing design shop nestled in an old but fully restored library building. Its fully packed with neat design stuff, the landscaping outside is amazing, and the history is fun! Very cool!

Great place to find unique items. Its compact, be prepared in the event of a sale for little room to move. After the holidays you can expect 50-60% savings.

I want to live in this store...they have such nice decorations and home accents for purchase...some things are reasonably priced, others are quite expensive, but the service is great and they had iced tea samples! I need to get a bonus at work so I can go hog wild in there...
