Its a great locally owned shop. The owner might not stock your tires, but he will get them and make sure they are there next day. Prices are pretty good too.

I want to start off by saying that I do not take writing this review lightly. I’ve gone to this shop often for most of my oil changes, a couple batteries, and a light repair here or there. Ive referred friends and people online here. The shop is generally friendly and locally owned. I’ve never kept a car long enough where it need tires but one of my current cars finally needed them. After some research I landed on a particular brand (major brand) of tire for my car after reading about the manufacturer warranty which includes free road hazard, peer reviews, and on the opinion of the shop owner and decided to purchase from here. There were cheaper options online and through “discount” tire shops at the time, but I wanted to support a local business, especially this one, since the price wasn’t drastically different.The service appointment and install both were a good experience. The tires are great and perform very well. This is where the good experience ends. A couple weeks later I unfortunately picked up a screw in the road somewhere. No worries, the tires come with free road hazard. Just contact the dealer you purchased from and they’ll take care of you. I called the manufacturer just to confirm my situation was within their guidelines and they said, “you’re covered”. Take it back to the original place of purchase and they will be able to replace the tire. However, I’d be responsible for mounting, balancing, and disposal fees. Fair enough.I called the store and was told “I don’t honor that because I’ve been burned on those ‘things’ before”. It was basically “period of story” conversation and tone. So, I call the manufacturer to see what my options were, and they even reached out directly to the store to entice him to help and assured him he’d be made whole (likely even more as I’m sure there are other incentives being a dealer for them). They got back in touch with me and I was told “he is completely unwilling to assist you”.The silver lining is that as an exception, the manufacturer is taking care of me directly and has offered to reimburse me for the purchase of a replacement tire.At the end of the day everything worked out. There is just a minor inconvenience of having to go to another shop to purchase another tire and have it mounted and balanced. It should be noted that this dealer who is unwilling to help is a “Gold” (preferred) level dealer for this tire manufacturer and is expected to honor the manufacturers warranty.UPDATE: I called Discount Tire to purchase my replacement tire and they offered to take care of me under warranty. This is above and beyond by them as I didnt originally purchase the tires from them. I know where to go for my next set.

Just purchased snow tires here. Price and selection were both better than other places I checked. They were able to install the tires the day after I called back to set the appointment, and were flexible about meeting my needs to get in and out quickly. I recommend Berghammer Tire and Auto.

The reviews say great customer service I beg to differ. Brought a car and then the original diagnosis was not the problem. Thats all right you would think that they would call you and tell you that your car was not going to be fixed or try to find out what else was wrong with that and try to order parts. So we show up to pick up the vehicle that supposed to be finished and were told that the car is not fixed and were closing and were not open on the weekend. I guess where Im from that is not constitute great customer service. They may be good at tires but I would never take a vehicle there again.

I have purchased tires from them and had my brakes replaced. Great customer service! I have also picked up a nail in my tire twice in the past 6 months. The got me in right away, fixed my tire and I was back on the road again without missing work. Thank you!!

Overpriced hourly rate. Passive aggressive customer service.Was told by guy at the counter that sometimes its not even worth fixing the AC. This was after I spent $900 with them to fix my AC.Turns out the AC stopped working a week later. Had to argue with them to re-fix it for free.AC stopped working again a week later. I didnt bother taking it back to them. Wish they would go the extra mile to find out the root cause of customers issues.1 extra star for the cool aquarium near the front desk.

Had my daughters RX8 done recently - they were able to beat what I found online for Blizzak tires - and got them in and mounted as fast as the big box store tire places.The entire staff is very knowledgeable about their business and is more than happy to help you find the right tire - not the most expensive - all the time.I have access to a full auto shop - and am still switching much of my car stuff to them!

I had been shopping around for new tires but when my tire started losing air the other day, I was able to pull into Berghammers and they had my spare on, new tires ordered and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes!!! (Thank goodness!!! I had two people depending on me for rides that afternnoon!!!) The next day, I had my new tires put on and they were $100 less than the two other quotes I had received. Thanks so much guys!!!
