Drove from St. Paul to Red Wing to hike Barn Bluff, and stopped for lunch where our car wouldnt start. Called Riverside and Sara answered phone. Said she would drive to where we were and give us a quick jump, which she did and car started. Then she said there was no charge for her assisting us. She said after we made it to Barn Bluff and if the car wouldnt start again, to call back and she would come out again to help us. Sara you are the best! Not many places would help like you did. We got in our hike, the car started, and we made it home. What a great experience we had by calling Riverside. If we lived in Red Wing, you would be our auto repair place. Not many places would help like Sara and Riverside did. Our car dealer never even returned our call. So glad we called Riverside and received such fantastic customer service!!

Don’t waste your time coming here. They will rip youOff after they don’t fix your car but still charge you for it.Matt the little weasel behind the counter with shirt feet and slender hands made comments under his stank breath to my gf about the whole situation as well. Let’s not forget the window they shattered in my Pontiac g6 that I had in there to get aligned as well. They did fix it after having it for a week. My steering wheel is still not centered after paying them twice to do it right. I’m going to take it to another shop to have it done right. Do yourself a favor and don’t use this place. Tell all your friends as well.

When I did an Internet search for auto repair shops and saw that Riverside Auto in Red Awing MN had 25 years of service - it was a no brainer! I had an emergency ‘car healing’ before taking a 4-hour trip that afternoon and they were very sympathetic and understanding of my situation. I was in and out of their shop in no time. And shortly thereafter, doing my road trip south. I mentioned this to my Wacouta neighbor Nancy and she, too, had an extremely positive experience. THANK YOU ALL!! (PS - the lady that checked me out was one of the most kind-hearted souls you’ll ever meet.)

One of the worst places I have ever taken a car, no estimates given more expensive parts ordered and installed than what I was quoted at. If you want to get played like an old 45, take your vehicle here! It’s pathetic places getaway with this, do the right thing and avoid this business at all costs

Brought my 03 Grand Cherokee in with death wobble, I had it parked all summer because it was unsafe to drive.After a week at Riverside Im confident driving it again.They listened to my concerns and communicated with me very well to get the service the vehicle needed and stay in budget. I walked in expecting a complete front suspension replacement and they diagnosed the specific problem and prioritised the repairs.I will definitely be using Riverside for other automotive repair needs.

I brought my car in with a problem. I was told that I needed both rear trailing and tracking arms replaced along with a new motor mount and new oil change and plugs, etc. Your shop wanted me to get $2500.00 in repairs that the car did not need and had Nothing to do with the problem I brought the car in for. The Motor mount I was shown was in pretty good condition with both parts still vulcanized together, not completely separated as I would have expected. There were some cracks in the rubber, but was certainly fully functional. I was also told that both trailing and tracking arms needed replacing, but the next shop I took it to said they were in excellent condition and showed me as much. You also told me that I would need an oil change even though the car just had one less then 300 miles earlier. Synthetic oil changes go for 5000 miles not 300 miles. But your guy said that I really needed to get one along with new plugs, etc. Your shop also said the car was unsafe to drive and made me feel that my life was in danger if I drove it. So you call this excellent service? I feel that you lied to me, you certainly defrauded me out of my $600.00 for a part that I did not need. Lastly my ignition switch is also screwed up, but worked fine when I brought it in.
