Clean store. Good looking produce. Meat looks fresh and good cuts. Low amount of foot traffic. If you sign up for savings it will be very beneficial. The cost of food is very high right now so I recommend using the online app to help save money.

This place is so very clean and well organized. The veggies are fresh and beautiful. I have bought meat from here and it has always been good. Love shopping here. Only downside is when you order on line they jack their prices up so beware 🤔

Stopped in yesterday with my husband to grab a bite. Made the mistake of using the restrooms. Both the men’s and women’s restrooms were FILTHY. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. There was debris all over the floor and grime everywhere. Not to mention the smell. Does anyone in management care?

I usually take my 2 five gallon water jugs to fill up there. Its right inside the door. Easy in and out.

It is an average Safeway. Not to pricey and they have a wide variety of almost everything I need. I do appreciate that this Safeway is cleaner than most I have been in.

Their ad had a very good special on bakery good so I called the store to inquire about its availability and was told that it was valid and they would be upping the production. When I got to that part of the store they had a light small sign saying that the ad was incorrect. I did not purchase those items but told a very nice clerk Jill who shared it with the manager who was not of any help.

This is an awesome store. Dont look like they have supply problems.

Friendly, familiar faces welcome any and all who enter. As a west coast icon Safeway has stood the test of time. I remember some of the staff from the Anderson store who served me and my mom in the mid 80s. If you like a good, clean, well managed place to shop, you can never go wrong. Love my neighborhood Safeway - they have great products with excellent selection for decent prices. Staff is friendly with the exception of the gals who work the customer service desk. So as long as you do not need assistance in the customer care department youre good!! Safeway any day over Grocery Outlet, WalMart, WinCo and all those other bargain markets. Get fresh local products at your neighborhood Safeway!!

I love the online pay and pickup service...but often they are out of products you may really need. That part is frustrating.

Had to pick up prescription for husband. Store marketing baked goods in pharmacy causing aisle congestion and NO social distancing. Very disconcerting! Very poor marketing choice. Grocery shopping somewhere else for a while. Questio ing whether they care about customers.

$5 Friday deals. Clean, well stocked and friendly staff. I drive a little further to do my.weekly shopping. Even further to do my monthly stock up.

Jordan who works in the Deli department is very attentive, efficient, and friendly. He has excellent customer service skills and helped me choose food items that were delicious and affordable. Whenever he is working at the counter I know that itll be a smooth experience as he aims to deliver speedy and high-quality service with a smile!

Normally get gas at safeway as I worked at this one for many years. When they went to the 1 way direction they had hoses long enough to reach around your standard pickup. They they decided to put new pumps in a while ago, and for some reason they changed the numbers around on the pumps and shortened the hoses. What used to go across the bed of a tundra and be in the normal position, now barely reaches and you have to have the nozzle upside down. They might reach if you get about 6 inches away from the pump, but God forbid you have to pay at the pump. If you have a truck and cant get in the right way do yourself a favor and just pull in so the tank fill is on the correct side.

Great store, superior pharmacy staff, extremely helpful for sure. I would give Safeway a 5 were it not for the fact that the grocery staff has changed in these past several years and the level of professionalism has certainly dropped. Also, produce not always the freshest anymore as well as the higher prices you pay to shop here. The service doesnt justify the price difference.

Good fresh fruits and veggies, they still require masks to be worn so you can pick up groceries that have been touched and breathed on by who knows how many people. I know they pretty much have to require them just in case that one lunatic traces some illness back to them. Its a good thing there were never any viruses around before last year, humanity would have never survived this long!

All Safeways are the same. The stores are always disorganized, and the people always act like they would rather be somewhere else. They just always seem to be the easiest store to get to, so that is the only reason I ever end up at one when out of town.

The staff at this location are great, however, the stores prices are way too inflated. Their selection of products isnt any better than a lot of other grocery stores in town but many items are 2 times the cost of similar grocery stores. The parking lot is a nightmare. Theres a great deal of traffic through the lot, both vehicles and pedestrians. A lot of homeless people around regularly, but especially at night.

I love Safeway in general for finding specific or hard to find food items. Their prices in general are a little too high for me to shop on the regular, but my absolute go to for hard to find food items since they have an excellent ethnic selection etc.

There is a lot of club card prices that are really good

Safeway gas. Some of the cheapest in Redding.Good and lots of arrows to point the direction you need to go, but there are still people that go the wrong way. And everyone always lines up to the right side of the pump islands -please know that the hoses have a long cord so they can fit going around the car to the far side (it would help the lines they have If more ppl knew that)

Disappointed. Fresh vegetables were mediocre at best. The onion bends were empty of yellow onions. Shallots were dried and half rotten, cilantro was horrible. Grocery Outlet has better fruit and vegetables!

Great store always clean

The store was great. The pharmacy is awful. The website said they are open at 9:00 but they are not they open at 10:00 but I dont get my meds until 11:00 maybe 12:00 and when I call them they didnt answer. I am leaving them because I dont trust them anymore. I am disabled and I have told them that I have to send my caretaker and I have to pay her to sit there. It wouldnt be so bad but I call them for a week before talk to them and they assured me at would be ready.

Its a nice place to shop just make sure to steer clear of the homless people outside at night. They have a very good selection of products and now they have a mochi bar near the self check out. I thought that was pretty awesome but the prices for each one is a little high when you can get them at another store for cheaper but great idea though.

There are never enough checkers.lines are ALWAYS long. You have to bag your own groceries most the time. Its been this bad for several years and getting worse.

I like to use this safeway vs the other one in town because of its easier to access from the street and less bums.

Very disappointed in their produce for the first time ever. There were little fruit flies on almost all of the produce in the Safeway in Corning, and the quality of the fruit and vegetables was very poor, horrible actually, on top of the bugs.

Big store. Bigger than my regular Safeway. Had lots of products and great prices. $1 avacados amazing. It was our first time there camping in our rv and we needed alot of of supplies. I am from the bay area and we wear masks down here. I counted 23 people in that store without masks. Half of them were employees. It was absolutely shocking. We couldnt wait to get out of there. I like the lakes and being out doors. I would go to whiskey lake again but I would shop at my safeway before I left.

I have addressed this store many times about food handling, and other code enforcement issues, but they just don’t seem to care.I have been a Safeway shopper for decades, but this store makes a difference, I’m not shopping Safeway anymore.They don’t care about the details, they have fecal matter out near their water dispenser, I reported it and noticed it did not get addressed.Too many people are shopping without masks, and I have seen Safeway employees bring uncovered baked goods out from the bakery to load other covered goods onto the shelves.I’m sorry Redding Safeway but you just don’t cover the small details well enough. More enforcement of codes, or I may start licking people in the shin if I see them without a mask. That would be advised against, like not wearing a mask is, so I’m just following their lead,

You go in to buy a few things to get you through the weekend and, you get carded for buying a box of wine with your cover friendly Covid -19 mask and hair that you havent cover the grey in like 6 months because seriously who sees you right now?🤔 so my experience is awesome and for you who dont get it... box wine, grey hair = mature and of age. So thank you my friendly cashier for making my day.

They have some problem keeping stocked on certain things but okay for the most part.

It wasnt too busy so those notoriously narrow aisles werent congested. Everyone there was friendly and courteous.

I observed this station of Safeways is always litter free and clean. I just pull up use my card, pump gas and off I go. When I have gone in, theyre helpful, a few maybe lacking in personality other than that, the price is right, well lit and clean

Ive been shopping at Safeway since 1997 when I relocated from Van Nuys (Los Angeles county). They can be pricey but they have really good sales. The employees are friendly courteous funny the best to be around and very knowledgeable. I love there bakery and birthday cakes are the bomb. I give them my thumb up 👍👏😘🐱💖

It was busy today around 2pm. The shelves were emptier than usual. Mask wearing is mandatory, thank you Safeway. Shoppers seem genuinely concientious about Covid 19 precautions and generally keep physically distanced.

Great produce, well stocked, has Quest lab and pharmacy. Rather pricey but good stuff.

This Safeway is the best one I been to. Employees are nice and friendly. The Deli was amazing. The food looked good and fresh. I would absolutely comeback and shop and eat there again.

The facility is a Safeway, clean, well stocked. It is what I expect from Safeway.The poor staff, probably from covid-19, appear l a bit worn. Almost makes you want to hug them. Im wondering if theyre overworked and underpaid.
