Been a musician for 14+ years and have known of this place. Honestly has a great atmosphere and good selection of guitars and basses. This shop and the one in Chico are fantastic. Bought my Kc-550 180w Amp for almost $400 off original price online. Great products, and great service

Very friendly employees and a great selection of instruments. Some arent tuned the best but thats an easy fix. They let my brother try out various electric guitars while me and my mother worked our way through the ukeleles, keyboards, and acoustic guitars.

Customer service is essential to me. I expect friendly staff that listen to me and try to help me. This is not that store. With unimpressive prices and staff, they convinced me not to go back.

I was blown away by how amazing the prices were for a mic stand. I had been searching everywhere and not wanting to go through amazon and for $25 what I got, i could resell for $60-$100 on amazon. The stabd us sturdy, heavy duty, and metal pretty much all the way.I couldnt have found a better deal ANYWHERE.

This is the best music store in the Redding Area. I arrived early the morning of my visit, maybe 10 minutes early and while I was waiting Bernie opened the store early just so I could wander in.I talked to Bernie who was the best person I think I could of talked too. I told him I had a budget and he showed me numerous guitars, then showed me good starter Amps and while I wasnt able to afford everything that day, I wasnt pressured into buying anything but his knowledge definitely helped me and I will always go back here if I need help.

The people are friendly and down-to-earth then theyre able to help me with whatever I need. I think them as music friends!

The best in town.

The only place in Redding that carries digital pianos - and a great collection for pianists or aspiring pianists to try out at that. I headed to this store with a particular model in mind. Thank goodness Sally (the piano expert here) was there to point me in a better direction - one that was more suitable for my needs as a proficient pianist. I came out of the store with a model that is so much better than the one I had in mind, so I didnt waste money on something less appropriate for myself. All the staff members here go out of their way to help you and set you up with the very best equipment. Fantastic prices too!

Bernie is amazing! Listen to him, he knows what hes talking about. I took my guitar there because it wouldnt hold a tune and he found that someone changed something on the guitar that was keeping it from staying in tune. Aside from that, the strings there are surprisingly cheap!

Good for lessons. John is a great guitar teacher who teaches both of my boys!

I visited the store yesterday and regardless of the obscure questions I asked regarding audio recording they answered succinctly and in detail which made me happy because their specific and thorough knowledge/experience was put in a way that was easy for me to understand and I doubt I would have received such great customer service elsewhere!

Its nice when I call in that I already dont want to come in the man I talked sounded very low energy and just not really caring about what I needed or what I was even saying IDC if your so busy which you werent that you dont want to take calls but Im not coming in to have you or anybody else be rude and not really care about what Im their for, so eventually I just say its ok I can probably find something then leave feeling disappointed. Seemed like a good reviewed guitar store but not when you barely want to say anything but uhhhhh we might have it butttt. Not the bad review type of person but I was irritated that it seems every guitar store was being not happy at all and rude. I have to drive far to get to Redding just to be directed to a hardware store which isnt a bad idea just the lack of helpfulness and compassion for what your doing
