Ben Franklin is the most complete craft store Ive been to! I usually head straight for the bead department- its unbelievable, they have everything! They sell semiprecious and precious stones, crystal beads, findings, etc. I love it!

Such an interesting, full-to-bursting creative place! So many ideas! So little time. 😆 The staff were great and tried to help me find what I needed, even though I needed nothing and bought everything. Im glad that my first visit coincided with the garage sale! I dont live in the area, so I hope to finish with everything I got before I get the chance to go again! Brittney was great help at checkout and very cool to talk to (she gets it, this craft addiction we deal with). I was too star-struck to notice anyones nametags, so thank goodness for at least getting the cashiers name on the receipt. Everyone was very nice, but the brunette stocking the woodcrafts also deserves a shout-out for being funny and friendly. Ill be back next Im in Redmond! I cant wait to get started on these projects.

I came here for some turquoise beads and found African Turquoise and some Sleeping Beauty nuggets! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff with a great selection of beads! They are also willing to help you order more of a specific item.

Nice big fabric section with lots of variety.

We love Ben Franklin for Christmas decor and picture frames. We got these great red cardinals for our outdoor tree and little white birds for indoors.

While they didnt have what I went there for it wasnt for lack of try. I was approached by three separate women. They creatively helped me find something that worked...

The staff has always been super nice, and they have almost everything you need for your basic and not-so-basic art projects and framing. Its not as big as some craft stores, but they have a good selection of fabric arts supplies for their size.

A crafty- persons heaven.Helpful staff.New, beautiful products and ideas abound.I purchased some beautiful yarn and a beginners how to crochet book and supplies.Masks are encouraged, and CDC recommendations is the guiding principles.

I have been to the store exactly 2 times. The first time was by myself and what seeking shopping assistance because I am visually impaired and nobody came to me. I had to call them in order to get their attention. After that the experience was good. The second time I went I took a friend and they were pretty helpful. It’s a pretty great place to find ideas for crafting. Apparently they do lessons but I’m not too sure about that.

Katie was incredibly helpful with product selection. I learned a fair amount. Jenna went above and beyond by looking up the product I had selected, and found the better alternative that the store carried while I was shopping, and then went as far as getting it for me, finding me, and exchanging products for the best option. Wendy gave me incredibly helpful advice on how to mount my artwork. I redid the part she recommended, and it looks way better. Thankful for this store and its helpful staff. I Appreciate all their efforts.

Great selection for crafters of all levels! Fun project kits for youngsters and good quality materials for more intricate projects. Jewelry/beading section always has wonderfully diverse selection of natural stones and charms, and there are conveniently located gift items for a quick gift purchase!

Great place to find craft ideas and the materials to make them. The people there are really friendly and helpful. If you have an idea in mind but you dont know the materials to realize it, they can help you. Frames, craft, knit, sew, paint, draw, wood, stickers, general decoration, and more. They decorate according to the season, so you can find many ideas. They also have some workshops.

Shop local. The jewelry section employees were super helpful while I looked for specific items. Plus this store carries loose semiprecious stones.

THE Go to place for frames. Wendy, Jo, Michael and the entire team are all super professional, friendly and patient. I’ve had a number of paintings framed here and the work is excellent and done with care and usually in a reasonable time as well. Highly recommend if you care about quality framing.

Beginner crafter and needed assistance picking stuff out. Since you cannot shop in the store, you must call to place curb side order. I thought this would be difficult as I didn’t know what I needed, but the lovely lady was helpful, patient and friendly. They went above and beyond and gave me the best “dealers choice” fabric out there (I told her I bought a sailboat so the fabric had buoys!) So thoughtful and made my day! Thanks again!

The Redmond WA Ben Franklin is one of the better stores in the Ben Franklin chain. Very well maintained by its employees and management this store has a nice selection of crafts and is well supplied.

What a great place! Brings back lots of memories..and fun to share with my daughter while looking for craft supplies for both of us.

Is this the last Been Franklin? This is the way craft stores should be run. The staff is fully engaged. The inventory is interesting and complete with items the big box competition does not carry. We will be back to shop more. Sept 2020: And we have returned several times since. With pandemic shopping questions, I wanted to update this review to let everyone who has not been in recently that the store and staff are still the very best. Im adding several more pix to show their great inventory and shopping.

If youre into crafts then this is a one-stop shop! Huge selection of your standard art needs and project supplies as well as some harder to find items like genuine crystal beads for jewelry-making. The staff is very kind and will JUMP to help you out. Normal prices for a craft store- Im happy theres no corporate markup! Its located on Rdmond Way in Redmond Center- opposite end of the lot as the Trader Joes. They have a huge parking lot to the right of the building if you need it.

Best craft store around! The staff always has cute example projects, they can answer any question you have and are always willing to offer advice. The store is well organized and clean, and they have a great selection of any craft item youd need. Ive been shopping here for 20+ years and its always getting better and better!

Eclectic selection, local store.

Ive never been to a Ben Franklin so I was pleasantly stunned by the selection and quality of goods in store. They stock many kinds of art and craft supplies including: woodwork, photo / picture frames (on discount!), sewing, knitting, painting, fabric, decorative paper, origami and chiyogami paper, beads, jewelry, and more. They also have a small furniture / home decor area. Everything is clean, neatly stacked and organized. Nothing smells bad here.They frequently have discounts on items throughout the store, and many things on clearance. I got a few 8 x 10 frames that cost $6 - 9 each, quite a steal considering the normal prices of $20 - 35 at other stores. Their pricing for paper and stationery supplies is also reasonable, $14 - 25 for packs of Japanese gel pens and other specialty pens / markers. Some paintbrush sets were as low as $7 for a combo, even better than Goodwill for the quantity and quality. Many items are also available in kid size or kid friendly packaging - with prices to match. Its amazing.Most of all, the service in-store was next level and really makes this place stand out. I was approached by staff at least 5 times during the few hours I shopped, and they genuinely cared about helping or assisting customers. They were very helpful, kind, and professional, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I will be back again.Pretty much the only caveat is that their supplies come from selected brands and not others - for sewing enthusiasts, I did not find any Clover items. For jewellery artists, there was largely Fireline, Darice, and TOHO... Some Artistic Wire but not a lot. So its definitely a place to check out for many projects, but if you have specific needs, this store may be more of a stand by than a staple.

Friendly, helpful, highly knowledgeable staff. They have EVERYTHING you could possibly want in your wildest dreams. A much better experience than the chain craft stores, but probably slightly more expensive.

Great selection thoughtfully and pleasantly organized in layout of store with a full range of artsy, cute, sometimes a little silly fun kid-friendly and adult-friendly arts and craft supplies, but the store’s collection (while not the biggest store of its kind thus potentially not home to every craft supply one may be seeking yet still very comprehensive) spans the full range of creativity needs for young and old, serious artists, kiddos (and, let’s be honest, plenty of adults) funding magical sparkling delights around every corner; there really is something for everyone and both the layout and the genuine friendliness and kindness of the individuals who work there create a comfortable, warm, fun shopping experience! I was also surprised by some of their really unique collections of items (e.g., these amazing printed small bolts of cloth that had been sourced and curated by the store displayed beautifully - reminded me of places I’ve traveled in Japan, Korea, etc. as well as gorgeous prints of florals...something to catch the eye of anyone). Worth a visit no matter one’s age and a really, in a way, quite uplifting, light, genuine, wonderful shopping experience that will give you pause before heading for the big chain stores in future!

Friendly, helpful staff here! I started out in the fabric department. The woman working there that day was super helpful and attentive. She showed me some blanket samples in the store to give me an idea of the options i could use to make mine. She then caught my mathematical error when trying to estimate how much fabric I would need for my project. (Phew!) It showed that she was truly listening to me and interested in my project needs. What great customer service!My next stop was to look for embellishments to make another project sample that they had in the fabric department. I needed help to find two of the three things that I needed in other departments. Again, the people working at Ben Franklin were super helpful and friendly.I really enjoyed my shopping experience at Ben Franklin and I look forward to going back there for more inspiration on new projects.I went on a weekday, which is a good idea if you need some extra assistance as I know that they can get pretty busy on the weekends.

Crafts and supplies from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Great place to get the supplies for most crafts. The people working there are tense and asking a question could be uncomfortable at times. They seem put out and inconvenienced. Unfortunately this is a normal. We still go there to get what we need and it works great - unless sometimes when we need to ask for help. Could go either way.

I had a poor experience at the Redmond Ben Franklin’s. The public bathrooms are closed. This inhospitable experience was very uncomfortable and although I have very much enjoyed shopping at this store before, I did not have time to mull over my purchases and ended up leaving before purchasing anything.Second postI HAVE NOT BEEN BACK TO BEN FRANKLINS TO SEE IF THE BATHROOMS ARE OPEN, HOWEVER, THEIR RESPONSE TO MY COMPLAINT WAS SWIFT STATING THEIR PLANS TO AGAIN ALLOW USE OF THEIR BATHROOMS. I APPRECIATE THEIR SWIFT RESPONSE AND IT SPEAKS OF THEIR INTEGRITY AS A BUSINESS WHO LISTENS TO THEIR CLIENTELE. THANK YOU BEN FRANKLINS!

This is a wonderful store, and bonus points for being VERY dog-friendly. It always has what Im looking for, has a magnificent jewelry section, and in this time of COVID, they make it easy to do curbside service.

I meant to share at the time that they had really cool postcard options when a lot of places have zero. I know its not super popular but I know theres a small group of us who really like to send mail and just collect postcards and this is a cool place to go in general for all of your crafts and needs.

Lovely selection of crafts! The yarn section is smaller than other places but they have very lovely or hard to find brands (they carry the malabrigo yarns, rios, sock, and caprino) and they have patterns available in case you have yarn but would like a project to work on! Staff is very helpful and they have a fantastic selection of unique fabrics and supplies for even niche hobbies.

The bead/jewelry section is fantastic and the lady who runs it/places the orders really knows her stuff- very helpful too. The sewing department has a lot of fun squares for small projects, including face masks. Framing department is clean and easy to order through. Phenomenal craft paper and sticker collection for scrap booking. Overall one of the best craft stores on the east side.

I bought a couple items this visit and was met with friendly helpful employees. I bought an air plant that is soon to bloom. I asked if I could mount it to my planter with hot glue, which she didnt know so she asked another employee, its perfectly safe to use hot glue to mount air plants. Also picked up this amazing planter for my art studio.

The crafts store has almost everything you might need. I needed some strapping and they had 5 different widths. Perfect for my use case. Friendly staff who will help you find anything.

Ben Franklin is a great spot for all your crafts! They always have exactly what I need for paper crafting, knitting, jewelry making or even just general crafting! And the staff is really wonderful too.

Exceptional yarn selection for a craft store! Not only did they have the usual suspects (Lion Brand & Aunt Lydias), but Malabrigo, Cascades Yarn Co, and Plymouth! It wasnt a wall of acrylic and nylon! Actual wool, cotton and bamboo, as well as silk, alpaca and camel.

The staff is always prompt and knowledgeable, and even when they dont know something theyre willing to go above and beyond to find out. The selection tends towards the wide, which admittedly can make it a bit difficult to find items on your own especially with items they only have a limited selection on (I wanted to get rubber blocks to create my own custom rubber stamps, and there were only a few in an unmarked middle aisle), but being able to find something for any projects I envision and having staff that know their business easily makes up for that minor inconvenience.

Locally owned. They did an exceptional job of curbside service during early phase of Covid. Continue to offer comfortable shopping.

Huge fan of this store. They have a solid selection of products, really friendly and helpful staff, and great project suggestions. They are a little smaller so dont expect to find everything you might at a larger art store, but I always go to Ben Franklin as my first stop in craft supply shopping.

This BFF (Ben Franklins Friend) continues the Original Bens work of civil improvement and Enlightenment exploration. PLUS, the Staff is exceptionally bright and helpful. Covid practices fully met.

A little pricey, but good for generic craft materials. if you need printmaking supplies, go somewhere else they do NOT have any so youll be plum out of luck. they have basics for most other mediums though :)

I love the seasonal holiday decore to choose from.You can choose from endless selections of premade Covid masks, or choose the material to make your own, not to mention dress it up or customize the heck out of it with add ons.I was sad that they would not permit me to exchange my used Covid mask for a new one nor try on the new one to see if I liked it before making the purchase.:->
