Family donut shop. Regular fare but the donuts are definitely made with passion and love. Sweet it is. Our favorites are bear claw, apple fritter and maple bacon bar. Of course the curlers are nice bite sized sweet sins if you can get your hands on them. Wont talk too much about customer service, its a donut shop pick the ones you want pay and move out.

Wow is all I can say. Delicious donuts and coffee. The staff is super friendly and the prices are insanely low. The cruller puffs are a must! This might be one of the best donut shops I have been to. It is very local feeling and a great experience. I wish I could add a 6th star. It IS that good. Come early on the weekends or you will be in line out the door! The locals know!

If you havent tried Sunrise Donuts and Espresso, then my suggestion to you is, DO IT! This place is fantastic. It is a lovely establishment and the staff is wonderful. Did I mention the donuts? They are delicious. The donuts are pillowy soft and melt in your mouth. You can tell that these are made fresh daily with fresh oil, and it makes all the difference. That may seem like of course, who would use old oil well if you are like me and have had more than one donut in your life then you know what I mean. On top of all the delight, you can get out of this eatery on a normal day my wife and I had the joy of having these donuts at our wedding. The staff was incredibly helpful with our order and made sure that our order was available on time. Not that it needs to be stated but the donuts were a hit!

We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for coffee. The ladies working were fast and very friendly. Even though there was a line out the door, I was in and out in under 15 minutes. The apple fritter was so good! And my coffee was just right. Im very glad we came in and would definitely recommend this little shop.

I love this small family owned donuts store. They have the best, soft, and fluffy glaze donuts. The ladies are always friendly and nice. I love their wide selection of donuts if you get there early enough. Ive not tried it yet, but you can order online in advance to have your favorite donuts ready for the next day or later.

Yummy. Cloud-like, fresh, delicious donuts. Great price, and great service. Went @ 8am, and the line was only a minute or two.Fritters are amazing. Jelly-filled had a little too much in them, but its not like I will only give 4 stars for that. Better than big chain places.

40 cents extra charge for credit/debit card payment. The size of the cup for the price was much smaller than other cafes I have been to in the area. Coffee was not that good either (the women behind the desk literally made my coffee in less than 2 minutes without any enthusiasm). Id rather go to another cafe nearby that gives me better coffee, a larger cup size for the price, and does not charge extra for paying by card.

I dont go to donut shops very often, but these were some of the best pastries Ive had in years. The donuts were light and fluffy, fresh, and not overly sweet - allowing the topping or filling to shine.Filled donuts were a proper ratio of filling to dough, the bacon maple bar was a good balance between salty and sweet, the fritters were light and the fruit pieces were small, and the buttermilk was perfect and light and not heavy at all.Service was friendly and quick, and the shop was clean.Five stars.

We we’re just passing through and wanted a decent donut and an iced coffee drink. The 4.5 star reviews from Yelp made this stopping decision for me. The ladies were very friendly! We got an iced white mocha with almond milk, and iced matcha green tea latte with almond milk and they were delicious! The donuts were fresh and so soft…the maple bacon speciality one hit the spot. Highly recommend this place. It’s definitely worth a try 😊

The old fashioned donut I had tasted fine, but was super dry. Fortunately we also ordered the blueberry fritter and cherry fritter, which were great and for me made-up for the disappointing old fashioned. Our 9 year old twins really liked the custard filled and cinnamon sugar donuts they got.

Went here instead of Top Pot and we were so happy about that decision. We got 4 donuts, a ham and cheese croissant, and two lattes for 15 dollars. We will be coming back

Basic donuts. Got the donut with sprinkles and the log with bacon And a Ham and cheese croissant(warmed up). Had a chai latte, and my son had chocolate milk.Dont expect customer service if you are Black.It is obvious they didnt want us to eat in. I wanted everything for eat-in, including Mmhh latte, but they placed everything in bags and my latte in a to-go cup.No offer for a copy of my receipt.And the Out of order sign is a farse. The restroom is functional, theyd just prefer to keep the public out.. Meh. Would bypass the while establishment if you are darker than burnt caramel. But its prefect if you are more of a Caucasian human. They have lots of smiles, greetings and customer service for Caucasians.

The doughnuts and their hot drinks do compliment each other. It is a perfect taste!

Sunrise has the best espresso in Seattle. The crema on their shots is so lush... Im hooked on my triple espresso. They use Caffé D’arte beans so it has that traditional Italian style coffee flavor. If you like a rich bold cocoa flavor to your beans and hate citrusy coffee you will love their espresso. Cham is also the sweetest barista! She has the best energy and always puts a smile on my face.

I also ordered a sausage and cheese kolache and one glazed donut for me. The kolache was for my hound.Very affordable. And pleasant experience. You have a repeat customer ❤️.

Honestly the best doughnuts Ive ever had. Even more, the family that runs the place seem to really care about what they do and the people that walk in the door. We moved away from our house that used to be located nearby and yet I still make over a half an hour trip every single Sunday morning from our new house to go to this place. Totally worth it.

I give Sunrise Donuts and Espresso located at 7299 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE, Redmond, WA 98052 FIVE STARS. I first found this spot taking the 221 bus towards Redmond and Im glad I found it. That day it was raining and I rainbow was showing in that area as I enjoyed A donut and coffee.

I wish I had taken pictures but we were so hungry😅 We were told the kolaches are incredible, but they were sold out by the time we arrived (around 10am on a sunday morning). we’re just gonna have to go back! food we got: old fashioned donut, the puffs, and a ham + cheese croissant. drinks: almond milk chai latte and earl grey tea. the donuts were sweet and delicious, and my boyfriend loooved the croissant. my chai was a little too sweet when paired with donuts, but still yummy. overall I’d recommend stopping by!

I got off at the wrong bus stop and didnt have my phone on me so I wandered into this store and the staff VERY kindly let me use their phone and checked in to make sure I had a way to get where I needed to go. Their blueberry fritter was light, delicious, and not overly sweet and their chai had a really nice flavor! Highly recommend this place with the sweetest staff and delicious and affordable pastries :)

Love the fresh donuts here. They have a good variety and the staff is very friendly. They may sell out by midday so make sure you come by in the morning for best selection. They also have coffee, espresso drinks and other non donut options.

Theyre okay donuts. Had the maple bar, glazed filled, chocolate custard, maple bar, and chocolate bar. I feel like the jelly and custard were lower in quality than I expected. But, really cheap prices. Get the Cruller puffs, those were the best.

I love their donuts. They are super light and very delicious. We bought seven dozen for a walk/run at Marymoor and they were devoured. Id brought them from Sunrise the year before and everyone knew what they wanted and dug in. I like the plainer ones - yeasty with just a bit of glaze, but folks go crazy for the chocolate and maple varieties, too.

Finally stopped by after living in Redmond for past 10 years. Their donuts are the lightest and fluffiest I think I have ever tasted. They have a good selection including bear claws, maple bars topped with bacon, and lemon filled bismarks.

Recently moved from Texas(plano), am glad to stay close to Sunrise.. Wow!! nice Donuts and coffee. Its simply YUMMY!!. Beware this is the only Donut Shop (family owned) I have ever seen to have a SOLD OUT by 9AM weekends. Better you hurry only if you need the best donuts on the area...!!Thanks for making my weekends nice!!

As someone that works at Microsoft and experiences donuts from various places, I consider myself a donut connoisseur.I first came across Sunrise when I was living in Redmond 6 years ago. Its a small mom & pop shop, not your typical franchise or supermarket donuts. I dont know anything about the owners/managers, but its still the same people working there since I went there the first time. Customer service is top notch, they are even Seahawks fans and celebrate blue Fridays!The donuts are made fresh every morning, always light and fluffy. They are more airy, with a perfect even coating of frosting/filling (if applicable).My wife loves the kolaches and donut holes, more so than any other place.Prices are very reasonable for the donuts and coffee.

Some of the best tasting donuts I have found in Seattle. The Apple fritter was full of flavor & soft yet crisp. The Blueberry Cake (glazed) Donut was amazing soft and fluffy and the most amazing texture for a cake Donut. Prices are great as well.

Only available Thursday through Sunday and often selling out quickly, these little puffs may not look like much, but are sure to win you over. Try them, if you havent already - you wont regret it, unless you just cant stop eating them!
