We had quite a pleasant meal here. The food was good, and the people were nice. As a vegetarian, I was so grateful to find out they use no lard in the food. Also nothing comes from a can. We would definitely eat here again! Thank you Alma.

Incredible service and even better food! I’ve been here multiple times and we have been treated so well every time! If you are lucky enough to have the place to yourself, talk to the owners. They will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meals. My personal tip is get a side of the verde sauce! It is incredible!

So delicious! I love the mole enchiladas. My son always gets the chimichanga. The best part, though, is the wonderfully friendly atmosphere. The husband and wife team are always here. I called ahead for dine- in and she cheerfully took my order and it was ready right when we got here. Lovely, relaxed feeling little place.

Found this gem looking for a vegetarian friendly option. They dont use lard in the refried beans. The food is very, very good! The mole sauce is top notch. Prices are very reasonable.Alma, our host, is the owner along with her husband. Super sweet lady! Ill be coming here again to try some of their other dishes. You really need to try this place if youre looking for fresh, delicious Mexican food 😊.

I love Mi Cielo restaurant it’s my favorite restaurant! Every time we walk in we are greeted with warm kindness and laughter. The food is amazingly delicious every time. I’m so thankful to have a restaurant to go to every week that is consistent and is made by people who care about who they are and what they do. They help us decide what we want to order because everything on the menu is excellent. I’ve almost ordered everything my favorites currently are Flautas and the Picado. I wish I could go every day thank you for taking such good care of us so wonderfully!
They made us feel like home at Mi Cielo with their friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious and they make all of their sauces, broths, etc in house. We will definitely be back to try their breakfast.

Has always been one of my favorite local restaurants, but sadly at least when we were there on a Thursday night send to have gone down hill. Only one other group in the room at about 6:15 pm and it felt to me like we were intruding not welcoming. Chips were very small serving but quite stale so plenty. My wife asked for a small change and got a grudging I guess. The food was pretty good, I had their Chile relleno which was good. Prices were probably too cheap for today. Maybe just a bad day

Hands down the best Mexican food in Central Oregon!! The owners are a married couple who are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating that know their Mexican food in every way you’d hope when looking for someone else to do the cooking that day. Their verde sauce is phenomenal and something as simple as refried beans, they’ve managed to perfect. Not to mention the special of the day carne asada and the chili verde “wet” burrito. And mole sauce that is second to none. Highly recommend any day!

Soooo. Have always wanted to try Moes Egg in Redmond. Found ourselves on a 30+ min waiting list as usual. Decided instead to try Mi Cielo because who in their right mind wouldnt want Mexican food for breakfast? All I can say is WOW. From the amazing Bloody Mary to the impeccable food I just cant say enough. From the moment we walked in it was a memorable experience. The owner is a breath of fresh air. She was funny and welcoming. Asked what the Crispy French toast was and she says its delicious thats what it is. Of course we ordered it. And it was. Had the Chili Verde Omelet. That too was delicious. Ordered the Spicy Omelet, to die for, even had tortilla chips in it. The green sauce was traditional and yummy. I really felt kinda sorry for all the shivering patrons at Moes. They could have had the best breakfast of their lives just 2 doors down. Please go see these wonderful owners and enjoy the amazing food. We will definitely be making this our weekend breakfast spot. Maybe one day Ill get to Moes without having to wait forever, but until then this is the place to be on a Saturday Morning! Well done Mi Cielo! VERY WELL DONE!

My husband and I found this place a few years ago and we have been fans ever since! The owners son was there when we first started going and he was very friendly and a great waiter. The salsa is fresh and delicious. Everything weve ordered has been fresh and so flavorful. The green sauce is the bomb! The owner (Alma) is there regularly now and she is the sweetest lady. Happy to support the mom and pops. Go check it out! It will become a favorite for you too.
Raw chicken and food poisoning. The chef tried to square up with my husband when he showed him the raw chicken in our food. The chef just kept yelling that the chicken was boiled and how dare we accuse him of serving raw chicken. The chicken was pink and gummy, clearly raw. We received half a refund by the woman there who was trying to hold back and calm the chef down. Not worth the risk.
This place has very good food! Their customer service is not the greatest! The young waitress that attended us didnt seem to like her job, not very friendly... Other then that their food is really good. The mixed drink I ordered didnt have enough alcohol like it should. The place looks nice, when I went we were the only ones in there.
I LOVE this restaurant! The food a great and the owner is absolutely AWESOME! We come for the food but we also come to see the woman who runs it! Every time I am there, I want to hug her on my way out! She is a rare gem! I highly recommend this restaurant!

During these times of Covid where we cannot sit down and eat the food hot and fresh right at the restaurant... You have to take the food out and by the time you get home it is usually cold.That being said... Mi Cielo makes excellent quality hand made foods and the best sign of good food is being able to eat it cold and having it still be just as delicious as it is when its hot.I live in Madras and its about 30 minutes to get home from this restaurant. My food was delicious even after the 40 minutes it took me to get there and eat it. The Mexican fries were a delicious snack for the ride home, and the chimichanga and burrito my partner and I got were so good even cold! We loved it and it was still a little warm after getting home.Thank you for being open during these trying times. We really enjoyed the service and the food.

This place is my favorite! Absolutely love the wet burritos and the Tres Amigos Platter. The family makes all their sauces fresh in house so you cant go wrong but the most popular sauce is definitely the Chile Verde tomatillo sauce! You can have your burritos smothered in Chile Verde (green), Chile Colorado (red), or the special seafood sauce (white).If you want, you can also have the breakfast burritos smothered in these sauces or Celestinos delicious sausage gravy! If you arent in the mood for a massive mouthwatering burrito or its your first time and dont know what to order then I would recommend the Tres Amigos. This platter comes with three of the signature dishes including Chile Verde, Chile Colorado, and a Chile Relleno!Now you need to understand that all of these ingredients are made fresh in house. So Celestino spends hours hand sorting and preparing the beans (with no lard) and sauces all fresh while Alma make the chips and salsa fresh daily with her own special recipe.This has been one of the best places to eat in Redmond or even all of Central Oregon for 10 years now! Cant wait to have it again and highly recommend Mi Cielo Mexican Restaurant next time youre in town.
Take out is great and easy. Placed an order picked up fifteen minutes later and good to go. Burritos are plenty and delicious.

We love this Restaurant, an Amazing Dining experience. A GREAT FRIENDLY atmosphere. With Amazing food. French toast is not something we would have typically gotten here, but we did and it was Great. If you dont eat here you are missing out.
The couple that runs this place is delightful! The food is amazing. Great portion sizes without sacrificing quality. Their burgers are fantastic, the Chile Verde is a favorite of mine, and you HAVE to try the chocolate raspberry churros. The prices are what you would expect, the service is wonderful, and the food is flavorful and filling. Definitely a favorite of mine.

We went in for breakfast everything we got was amazing & homemade. Alma helped us & she was so nice & accommodating, definitely coming back!
To start the service is very accommodating. So while we wait I will talk about the what Im seeing. The decor is pretty much like any other Mexican restaurant. The music, wall art are nothing one hasnt seen before. Expect for the odd and rather unnecessary hanging holiday bulbs from the ceiling. But one doesnt judge by the decor so I digress. As we are the only two people eating here at 5:30pm I should be a tad nervous. However I will await the food arrival before I pass judgment.Okay, so plating needs some work. Flavors are very mild. Lacking proper seasoning and flavor. Not a hit that would bring me back. Very dry proteins are the worst.

I had the crunchy french toast which is the absolute best french toast I’ve ever had ever. My sister had the homemade gravy and biscuits and they were also incredible. The lady who helped me was such a mom and literally such a sweetheart and the environment was so welcoming. I would so so recommend! ❤️

The food was ok it was not up to standards as authentic Mexican food the steak had no flavor and the chicken was dry and had no flavor .also the salsa had a lot of garlic so it overpowering everything and their was no real flower tortillas so I gave them more stars then the should. customer service was good the prices are too high for the quality of food.

A family kitchen in down town. Found this place a few years ago and have done our best to stop once-sometimes twice-a week. The staff is a tight family unit that works hard to meet the needs of even the most difficult customer. The food is fresh and we never leave hungry. With a few strict dietary needs, this establishment has taken the time to remember our favorites. This place is home!
The chips and salsa were GREAT. Salsa tasted fresh and the chips were hot.the chimichanga is great but the cheese couldve been melted but everything else is great. Service was great. Our server was funny and was fast.

We saw this place while driving by on our way to the airport and decided to stop after checking the great reviews. We were the only customers at noon on a Saturday. The owners son greeted us, brought us menus, waters and chips and salsa. I ordered the enchiladas with the Verde Sauce and my wife ordered the fish tacos.Fish tacos: I think you should have low expectations ordering fish tacos in Central Oregon anyway, but my wife said shed give them 3 stars... we make better ones at home.Enchiladas:They come with beans and rice. The beans were good (4 stars), the rice was kid of dry and clumped together (3 stars), the shredded beef and shredded chicken were 4 star and the pork with verde sauce was the best of the meats, but still not quite 5 star.Chips and salsa: 3 star, fresh salsa, pretty mild, but fresh ingredients. Chips could be warmer and fresher but pretty good.

The food was definitely frozen and microwaved! It came out of the kitchen 3 min after we ordered! It tasted fine but it was way overpriced even for a cooked food, not to mention microwaved food! The server was very nice and she talked to us for some time. Overall it’s a nice place with good people but food needs an upgrade.
This place has been my favorite place to go ever since I was in the 7th grade I love it the food here is so good and the owners are such the funniest nicest people you could ever meet I never regret coming here and as long as they stay open Ill keep on coming here.
We have been a few times for lunch and dinner and experienced the best customer service here in Redmond which is hard to find. The owner is your server and is personable, down to earth and informative. She has always explained to us what we are ordering and how it is prepared as they make most of their ingredients in-house, from scratch. We went in for breakfast this morning with two of my teenage stepsons after looking at their extensive breakfast menu online and finding out there would be something for everyone. We were all pleasantly surprised and impressed with our meals and again the fantastic customer service! Definitely our new go-to breakfast place here in Redmond along with lunch and dinner! Best Mexican food in town! Also, their homemade tomatillo sauce is INCREDIBLE!

This place is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Central Oregon, and definitely in Redmond. They may not cool things exactly like they do in Mexico out of needing to cater to the tastes of the local community but you can tell how fresh their ingredients are and the effort they put into it. Dont come here if youre expecting a bunch of bells and whistles and decorations like some jerks who are overly critical on here, but you just cant go wrong with the Chile verde wey burritos.

Good food and good service. However, I ordered a very expensive tequila, but when I drank it, it tasted very low grade. I asked the server to bring over the bottle and sure enough, it was a well drink. She explained that they didnt have what I asked for so gave me the closest thing. Im. No, a $12 shot is NOT the same as a $40 one. She ended up bringing me something else that tasted better. However, that one was NOT on the menu. Not sure how they keep track of their booze. When I got my bill, I was credited the $40 and charged the $12, which means they were going to charge me for junk tequila!
The family the runs the place are awesome! They are always courteous and friendly. The Deep Fried Cheesecake is the best!
My boyfriend and I stopped in to Mi Cielo this evening and had an amazing experience. We requested a cocktail that they dont normally serve, and Elma was overly accommodating, making us the drink with no qualms, it was delicious! The food was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious! We will be back again, thanks to the dedicated owners and the great cuisine they have cultivated here in Redmond.
I came here for the first time with a friend who has eaten here numerous times. She said its the best in town, so I thought ok lets try it out. Was she ever right!!! The food was Delicious and the services was great. I got my order just the way I special ordered it and more then I could eat. Now I have dinner and lunch tomorrow. Alma was a gem to visit with and our food was hot and extremely well made. I most differently will be back and recommend this place to all my family and friends. 5 Stars

Was looking for a good Mexican food place in the area and found this place. Drove here from smith rock (even though it was the opposite direction we were heading) and it was worth the drive. The food was great, we had burritos, chimichangas and enchiladas at our table and every one was more than satisfied. To make it even better the lady who took our order (who Im assuming is the owner) was great, she had a great attitude and made us laugh with conversation, we even got to meet her husband the cook. Would recommend to anyone in the area and when Im in the area again Ill be back.
Wow. We were in town from Portland, and needed to provide a group of 10 dinner. We ordered rice/beans, and chicken fajitas. The entire crew was extremely well fed, and so very, very happy. We will not miss eating here whenever we are in town. The owners are beyond helpful, thoughtful, and extremely particular about the food they are providing. Gracious! And, we even have leftovers (yum!). Do not miss this opportunity.

First Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in Oregon and I’m so glad that I went with this place. Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! And they don’t give you little portions they give you huge portions to where you will have something for lunch the next day( unless you decide on a midnight snack lol) seriously though, very good food.

Fantastic Mexican food! We enjoyed a chili reeno burrito and some cheese enchiladas smothered in a fantastic green sauce. Many of the menu items can be adjusted to become vegetarian friendly. The service was great despite only having one server on duty. This place truly is heaven!

I love the seafood enchiladas with creme sauce. It is to die for! I know Stino is cooking for me and that matters. Alma lovingly brings food to the table and I enjoy talking with her and her calling me Luv.
Mi cielito didnt meet expectations on the contrary, service was slightly below average. Food I ordered garlic shrimp and it look very bad the shrimp look so tiny and not appealing, my wife ordered grill chicken and it had no flavor not even salt. Im sure theres better options besides this restaurant.
I really want to like this place. The salsa was good (although I could use some heat!). I had a margarita. It was ok. Maybe a bit overpriced because it tasted just like something you would make at home. We had fajitas. I thought the flavor was a little bland. I will definitely try this place again, but would order something else.
