Its okay, but honestly of all the escape rooms we have done it was second to last in our estimation. A couple of the puzzles were broken. All of the props looked really cool
Was so much fun!!! Challenging, but achievable!!! Very creative and well thought out! We did the prison escape, excited to try others! I hear the Egyptian tomb has sand everywhere! Def recommended! 👌
I experienced my first escape room here, while I had family visiting from out of town. I highly recommend this place, as the puzzles and rooms are very well-themed, and range in difficulty levels to allow you to build your way up to the more difficult rooms. The staff were amazingly helpful when we needed to use our limited requests for hints. If you have never, or even if you have before, tried an escape room, Flee and Escape is the place to go!Special thanks to Phil C. who was our guide, and who I would personally ask for him again-- knowledgeable and friendly, and went above and beyond to show us a good time and even let us see a sneak peek at other rooms we were interested in if they were not currently in use.
Ancient Egypt: Lots of broken puzzles and old parts. It was probably a decent room when it was new, but feels like they stopped maintaining it.
Being an intermediate level nerd for escape rooms I would say they have fun clues in most of their rooms. The clues are perfectly non-frustrating and logical.
This was my first escape room, and I had a great time. The puzzle was challenging, but not unsolvable (with a hint or two requested from the staff). The staff were super friendly, gave us clear instructions and expectations, and were happy to chat us up afterward answering questions about what we could have done better, etc. My only critique was they should have a program where we could get a discount on another room if we booked before we left.
Great friendly staff! The escape room was unprepared though. We had three pieces of the room not work like they’re supposed too which caused us to waste time we could’ve used to beat the other parts of the room. It was still fun besides that.
It was a Fantastic escape room, We did the prison break scenario. The staff is friendly, helpful and the complexity of the rooms were enough to keep us driven yet not have the feeling that the rooms were impossible to solve. When we asked for a hint it was fast and efficient staff new we needed a quick answer. It was our groups first time and we were 2-3mins short from successfully escaping the room. We will be back and I highly recommend Flee Escape in Redmond. You have 6 Escape rooms to choose from and if you are not into escape rooms check out their VR gaming pods. If you have a bad experience its because you didnt communicate well. Remember this is a team work game. The more you are involved the better of experience you will have with Game. I recommend players to work their way to the hardest puzzles if not experienced. Thanks again for a great experience Flee Escape.
The Ice Walker room was a huge disappointment. It LOOKS cool, but half the puzzles werent working. It was really frustrating not knowing if we werent doing a puzzle correctly or it was broken. Half way through I was just ready to be done- it was the opposite of fun. Also, I hope they disinfect the rooms better than they clean their bathrooms... We have done a lot of escape rooms in Seattle (and lots of other cities) and this was one of the worst. Would not recommend.
It was fun and clever, but the room was hot because it was not well ventilated. Also an error in the hints cost us time. We still had a fun experience in the end, but it definitely could be better.
I recommend this place who has never done an escape room. Decently prices, fun experience.
The room was fun and staff were pleasant, but a couple of the clues were missing/incorrect. If we hadnt asked for hints we never would have escaped the room
It was fun and just challenging enough to not be easy but also not impossible.
Honestly surprised with how highly rated this place is. We did the Game of Thrones themed one and meh. Could have saved our $80. The puzzles were not great at all - weve done 20+ escape rooms around the US & Canada. You also have to keep your mask on inside the room the entire time (which is fine) but at one point you literally have to blow on different parts of the puzzle... so whats the point of wearing a mask?? Honestly dont recommend this escape room. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Have been there 1st time but had lot of fun. Will again visit sometime later this year.
Puzzles were good, themeing was fun. But, the staff wasnt super responsive or clear, there were multiple puzzles that couldnt be solved because the room was improperly prepared. We were not given all the items going into the room. We lost 30 or 25 minutes to staff error. Could have been fun, was kind of a disappointment.
The escape room I played wasnt really good. Escape room puzzles should be hard to spot or understand but once you do, it should be easy to solve. The puzzles here were rather easy to understand but hard to solve. Everyone knew what to do, just not how. Thats not fun.
Prison break was fun, the ice walker one not so much
Truly Awful! My wife and I booked 2 rooms here, The Lift and Steampunk Submarine, and we were unfortunately disappointed more and more until the moment we left. We have played 250+ escape rooms and though the rooms themselves do not rank as the worst we have played, the company as a whole is by far the worst we have experienced. When we arrived, we were told that one of the rooms we booked, Steampunk Sub, had gone down due to the previous group accidentally pulling some wiring loose. This was fine with us, as the staff offered us the Egyptian room as a replacement, but we soon found that the lazy and sloppy construction of their games may have been to blame for tone of their games to so easily go down. The two rooms we did play had at least one broken feature/game component that we were told to just skip in the game. In both rooms there was an opening or compartment that exposed the loose and dangling wiring that was not just within reach but also close enough to game pieces that it was easily pulled or tangled while just trying to play the game. The Egyptian room had more electrical tape either loose around the room or falling off of various connections than I thought possible in a single room. Seriously, if it doesnt work the first 100 times maybe try fixing it a different way. Electrical tape and sand dont mix, it will not stick. Also, most of the puzzles were lazily put together and either the result of incompetent toddlers hard work or a drunk who had somehow talked his way into making them believe he was an electrician. The only saving grace this place had was its amazing staff. They were enthusiastic and tried to make our experience as good as possible. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and courteous attitudes. They are the sole reason that we did not ask for our money back, as it was clear with the staff that worked this hard it could only be the owners that would allow such a dreadful display. The staff is too good for this place. They work harder than I have ever seen a staff work for owners who clearly do not care.
What a let-down. While the prop quality in the room was pretty high (we did the Game of Thrones one), the design was really crummy. Each puzzle had to be worked on basically in sequence, so having any more than two people made it really awkward. Not only that, but half of the puzzles didnt work properly and we wasted time trying to figure out something that was impossible. The worst part, though, was that this place has the NASTIEST bathroom I have ever seen. Seriously, guys, clean your toilets.
First time in as escape room with my daughter and 2 of her friends. This was a fun adventure, challenging and a great bonding experience. We did the Prison Break and needed just a few more minutes to make it out. We were sooo close!! The props and clues were helpful and tapped into everyones different strenghts. This is definitely a team effort where cooperation and thinking outside the box are key. I highly recommend our guide Phil. He went over the rules well and was very encouraging seeing as none of us had done an escape room before. We used all 3 of our hints which helped us move on to the next puzzle. This was great interactive entertainment and a memorable experience. Will definitely be back to FleeEscape to try another room!
Did ice walker, prolly one of the most frustrating one we have done, we hate linear room btw, and this was one of those, when two people stand there soliving puzzles, rest of us just doing nothing. We have done all most all the rooms in Seattle, this one is pretty much a copy cat of quest factors GOT room in downtown, whats worse, half of the puzzles were broken, the change of the room was so subtle sometimes made you wonder if you did things right or not. First chained key was so short got everyone so angry, what a bad start, it was aligned in a super weird angle and would not get in no matter what, and we dont typically use force so we called, and the staff came in just jam the key into it impaitiently. There were swords on the wall and appearently you have to press them, who would do that? Its not a keyboard. A lot puzzles in the room are not connected and seem like they were just ramdomly put together. We called a few times for hints and staff were cold and indifferent and not helpful, we will not be going back.
I was not optimistic about doing an escape room with my work team, but this place proved me wrong. It was a challenge, but not too challenging. We finished steampunk submarine in 45 minutes, using 1/4 clues. My one complaint was that it was pretty hot in there.
Great escape rooms. Lots of details, challenging rooms, tons of variety. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be back!
My first ever escape room. Did not get out in time, but the teens and 20 year old had a great time. Not good for a 60 year old. My head hurts. 😫Could not take pictures - sorry.
Very interesting set ups and fun experience.
The room was pretty organized but just had random buttons that were just red herrings. We also spent about 30 minutes trying to match up a music scale and fit gloves on our hands. One of the puzzles malfunctioned and let us pass without actually clearing which was a large waste of time as well. It wasnt hard to figure out what to do it was just hard to get it done.
We had a team outing here. Very different experience. Staff explained rules very clearly, and he was very attentive and helped us with clues when we needed. You must experience this game at least once. We played prison escape here and it was fun. You can see wear and tear on few equipments and that can give away few clues. They need to fix them some day.
Get service, the room had a couple glitches, but the staff fixed them as we went.
I did the Egypt room here once and that one was overall well done. So I came back and did the Ice Walker room which was a major disappointment. Half of the puzzles were broken (magnets not being magnetic, heat-sensitive buttons that dont change temperature, a ouija board-style puzzle that didnt land on the right spaces for a solution, one puzzle that required more crude/brute force when they yell at you not to force anything at the beginning - the employee told us how to solve that one) and one employee even said that the management doesnt care to fix the broken puzzles. Also another employee (that can talk with you on the walkie talkie) yelled at a member of our group to put their mask back on (they had it off for all of 5 seconds) after the employee had said you will need to take off your mask to complete the puzzle with a blowing exercise. He then just auto-completed the puzzle for us without asking us first. So unprofessional, especially for how much you have to pay to reserve the room. Additionally, even if all the puzzles were working, with the Ice Walker room, you have to solve each puzzle in a particular order but there is no clear direction of which ones come first (its certainly not front to back in that room) so we spent most if our time trying to figure out a puzzle that hadnt been “unlocked” for us to solve yet (but there were lights and it seemed like we had all the pieces to solve it?). After this experience I’m never going back here again.
We tried the Egypt room. They had sand on the floor which was a very nice touch and a few large props we could interact with which we all pretty cool. But overall it felt like a letdown due to meh puzzle design, a slew of technical issues, aging props, and a lack of narrative tie in.We lost confidence pretty quickly when one of the puzzles was out (and it looked like the most interesting one) which the game master didnt tell us until we asked soon after starting. There was also an issue where they gave us the wrong materials so they had to come in partway through to replace things. These made us immediately lose confidence and made the whole experience a bit of a letdown. We had chosen Egypt since it was supposed to be one of their hardest rooms, but it felt like most of the time we were stuck on esoteric issues rather then the puzzles which, with one exception, were all pretty quick and straightforward for experienced puzzle solvers.Overall, there are much better escape room experiences in the area, and this one left me a bit disappointed.
Really good place, several of the traps were already opened which ruined the mood a bit but the puzzles were unique!
Absolutely awesome. I took my 3 closest friends here for my birthday and had no regrets. It was everyones first escape room, so we were absolutely dreadful at it. While it must have been painful to watch, our guide helped us out so much, and nearly walked us through the last bit of the Deadwood room. Would definitely come again!
I LOVE the rooms here. Very well designed and thought out. Truly a lovely experience. Ive even done a couple rooms several times. Never gets old!
Poorly organized and the flow between one puzzle to another was terrible. Sometimes we didn’t even get a response when asked for a clue.
The rooms are very creatively designed, sufficiently challenging and the staff are always friendly! Parking is limited but Ive never NOT found a nearby spot.
We had a blast! We went for a team event and out of the 6 attendees only 2 of us had done an escape room before. We got out of our room and we felt great, energized and more cohesive. The employees were great and had clear, easy instructions to follow and very clever puzzles. Cant wait to go again.
Ok
This was a very fun and interesting place to go to and it challenges you to really think about whats going on and what you have to do! 10/10 would recommend again👍👌
Being an engineer who likes puzzles, Ive always been searching for good real-life room escape games among different cities. FLEE is a new addition to the Seattle area. I started falling in love with the design, atmosphere, and the wonderful immersive experience since my first visit. They offer 5 different rooms, each with different themes and difficulties. The experience were so well crafted and it is totally different from paper/math puzzles made into real life. Instead, youll see all sort of puzzles, tricks, devices (sorry I really want to say further, but I dont want to spoil your fun) which you would need everything you can find from the room to help you escaping.Being one of the first visitors Ive tried 4 out of 5 rooms and there are multiple times I found myself just wowed for how smart the puzzle design is. I came with different group of friends each time and everyone has different level of problem solving skills. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, everyone is having fun and everyone ended up enjoying a great sense of achievement (even for the rooms we didnt manage to finish). The whole process takes one hour, so even if you are visiting Seattle, it is a place which worth your time, and you wont find it disappointing.Oh last but not least, I found escaping room is a perfect team building event for friends or teams who look to build trust. The whole group need to collaborate, each contributes to their best and eventually made an escape from a locked room. It is awesome, isnt it?
I have came here multiple times with friends and family. Each time was amazing, the staff are friendly, and the escape rooms are amazing. I wish I could write about all the cool, parts about the puzzles that make it so fun, but I dont want to spoil anything. It also makes a great place for a birthday party, if you ever get the chance, check it out.
I tried out one of their theme rooms, called Prison Room. Its one of the best escape room I have tried.I will try to give a detailed review without giving out any spoiler here. I like the theme decorations and design of the puzzles. All of the puzzles can be solved through logic and the clues given in the room, in a way that I dont feel frustrated while trying to solve the puzzles. The puzzles are also very well connected to the main story theme. One plus thing is that the staffs are very nice and my whole group was very well taken care of.I highly recommend this place if you want a brain workout! Cant wait to try out other rooms they have!
Pretty fun! Weve been there twice already and planning to go again today. Weve done prison break and museum heist! Doing dream traveler later!
We have hit almost all of the FLEE Escape Rooms. They are so much fun and the staff is always really friendly and informative. We love this place for group date nights!
One of the best escape rooms in Seattle, tricky puzzles with innovative solutions and clever twists. Some of the rooms are better for big groups than others, as there is a lot more opportunity for parallel problem solving. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that some of the rooms are not in the best condition, mainly due to previous players yanking things off the wall. Attention to detail in their rooms is top notch, without spoiling anything the Ancient Egypt room is particularly well done.
Competitively priced. Weve done 3 of the rooms here. Have liked them all. Lots of fun and challenging! Staff very pleasant.
We played the Traveler’s Dream room. Let me start off by saying: this was not as easy as I expected. We were having so much fun that we didnt even feel the time going by, so make sure you stay focused on the overall objective! The puzzles you will be solving are all doable, but require you to think on your feet because of the time limit. I personally enjoyed the challenge of it. The “mysteries” in the game were diverse and included pictures, music, voice recordings, hidden objects, and word riddles just to name a few, so you will never feel bored. Overall, the game is exciting and I would highly recommend others to try it out.
First time at an escape room, and all four family members had fun (15yo, 17yo). The room was challenging but we got out. Only complaint was the person telling the story to set up our adventure was also on duty answering requests for hints from other rooms at three same time. Will definitely go back and try the other four rooms.
Great set of escape rooms - love all the different themes. Puzzles are challenging but in a good way. Ive seen previous reviews of people saying staff was not very friendly and those are bogus. Weve had a good experience each time weve been there (seeing different staff each time)
Made a reservation for our son’s birthday party several weeks in advance, so he could have a fun time with friends to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately we received a cancellation email the night before his party. When we emailed to ask why the reservation was cancelled, we were told it was because they had a “sudden, major renovation” in most of their game rooms. They then asked if we wanted to reschedule for the following day (?!?).At this point I went from disappointed for my son and frustrated at the inconvenience, to furious that they had the gall to outright lie to us. As someone who project manages renovations for a living, I’m quite aware that it takes serious time to plan “major renovations.” This wasn’t “sudden” and if it had been, it’s impossible to believe they would just have it ready the next day (I’ve dealt with emergency floods, etc., too). So my son’s party is cancelled because these folks can’t plan and obviously don’t care about their customers. They’ve lost our business forever.
Super fun! Very immersive escape rooms. I would definitely visit this place again. There is enough parking spots and there are plenty of dining options nearby.
Exceptional escape room and I’ve done 10 in the last four months. Really lived dream traveler. The staff had a slow night and let us stay longer so we could complete the room. One of the best. Highly recommend.
Very fun and immersive. Multi-room escape rooms, neat traps and tricks that are a step above your average escape room. Lighting could be better (very dim inside the rooms - for immersion but its really hard to see sometimes)
Fun escape room. I ended up doing the Dream Traveller room with a group of 5 people. It was a fun experience but felt a little too easy considering the escape rate. Nevertheless, good fun and the people there are friendly.
It was a lot of fun. Brought my son for his birthday. We escaped the room before the hour was over but there was no congratulations, no way to go you did it, just okay thanks for coming. That was a let down. We saw pics on the wall and thought maybe those were people that escaped but they didnt even congratulate us. I gave them 4 stars because the actually escape rooms were cool, although some puzzles you could not figure out with out the hints.
We are from Toronto and there are so many room escape places that Ive been to with a group of friends, but this one is so far THE BEST! We went in as a group of 6 and all of us had a great time and really enjoyed it! The staff at FLEE were very professional, friendly and welcoming. I love their themes and mind puzzles as they add a twist to the whole experience. Whether or not youre an experienced escaper or just starting off, this escape place is definitely a must-go-to place! My friends and I are in town for another week, we are returning to Flee again for a different themed room before we head back to Canada.
I have been to a few puzzle rooms on the east side and this one is the best in my experience! The rooms are very well thought out and exercise different problem solving skills. Lastly, the owners are very nice people and they make sure that you have a god time! There are some neat surprises too :)
This place was awesome. We brought purchase company here for a team building day, and this was a totally fun and engaging event. High production. Value, friendly staff, and totally affordable. Highly recommended.
We had 8 people (adults + kids) in the dream changer room. 4 people is a better amount based on how small the rooms are. The puzzles are very serial, so some of us puzzles solvers spent a lot of time standing around uselessly. The youngest puzzle solver heard the audio message from one of the clues, and didnt relay the information, so we ended up unlocking the final door to escape without actually solving it (with plenty of time to spare). It was very unsatisfying. And when we wanted a hint, the fellow running the room (who was very polite) was too busy helping people in other rooms so we never got the hint. There was one guy running 5 rooms the afternoon we visited - there should have been at least 1 more employee. However, he did take the time to go over the remaining clues so we at least had a full understanding before leaving. The clues and puzzles were decent, and I enjoyed them, but this room is my 6th favorite out of the 7 rooms Ive done. I would have had a better time with a smaller group.
What an awesome experience! We were group of 5 and had a great time sorting through the clues and figuring out the puzzles. It was the first time any of us had tried one of these, and this particular room kept us on our toes. So much fun finding the clues to solve through logic. Overall a great time!
These rooms are well thought out, with the right amount of difficulty, hints from the staff are optional (not impossible to solve without hints like some other outfits). Great teamwork experience for all.
Had a great time sharing our escape with our son for his birthday. Happy to say we made it out in under 60 minutes! The puzzles were a little challenging so we did use our lifeline for some help here and there.Exiting the challenge was a bit anticlimactic though. I think it wouldve been nice to receive a badge, a button, or get our picture taken and put on the wall (which had other groups pictures on it). We basically just made our way to the front waiting area, turned in the walkie talkie, and was told to have a nice day.Still, a good time - one we will definitely come back to and try one of their other challenges.
Went here with a work group. The puzzles were fun, but we went through them quickly, probably had a few too many people for the room. My main issue was that a couple of the sensors werent working, causing us to waste time before we realized that we needed employee help, and two of the doors did not make it obvious that we solved the puzzle to unlock them.
Really nice, we had fun in the Egyptian crypt:)Most of the riddles were medium to easy, a couple of them were really hard! Good enough mix.
Great place and had a great time. Good place to enjoy w/others
Well designed intricate escape rooms. The 3 of us did the Ancient Egypt one. We couldnt finish. It was our first time at any escape room and this one is one of their most difficult so that was not wise. It was still quite enjoyable though. It was the highlight of our Redmond stay!
So... we went as a group of 6th graders, four of us. We did the Dream Traveler room, and.... well... we would have completed it. The only thing in the way? Most of things that could break did break. The flashlight was out of batteries. The door didnt work when we pressed the right buttons. It seriously slowed us down, and we wasted a good amount of hints on those. Overall, not very satisfied with the experience.
My team went there for a morale event and it was fantastic we had the best time
Nice and innovative game room. Guest parking is a bit challenging though.
Very accommodating for a team that wanted to do a 2-person scenario. Quite fun! Did the prison escape room, highly recommended for tiny groups seeking a challenge.
An actual challenge of an escape room, compared to some in the greater Lake Washington area. A bland tip: if you need a code, make sure you have ALL the numbers before imputing. Apparently adding as you go can not input right and eat valuable time.
This place was great. But Sevvy ruined some of the puzzle and FrostyBox typed the security code in too fast...
Had a great time. The staff were fun and helpful. The puzzles were challenging and engaging. Great for a group event.
Fun escape rooms, for a good price! Just make sure you have good communicators with you for a good time.
Such a fun place to hang out. Super nice staff, brand new room and variety of choices. We finish two of the five and definitely gonna finish the other ones.
The escape rooms are really fun and intricate. They have a lot of varying puzzles with some really cool electronics built in. Weve gone twice now, and both times have been great!
A lot of fun. Perfect for two couples. More than 4 persons in the Prison Escape room would be too many.
Best escape room I have been to. It was very immersive and hard!
Had a lot of fun here. Did the Bournes Mission. It was very well thought out and extravagant. Bring your best problem solvers! Good luck 🍀
Smart puzzles and overall fun place. Room sizes are a bit small
Out of all the escape rooms Ive ever done (10-11) across the country, this one is near the top of my list. We love the electro mechanical elements in their rooms, which is quite different from all the other escape rooms Ive ever done and Im glad we got something other than the traditional locks and number combinations. The storyline was quite engaging and the staff were friendly. Wish they would expand to other branches in Seattle downtown.
Fun team building event. Some of the rooms are a lot harder than others so definitely can be quite a challenge. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
We escaped! Fun team building event for 8 people. Also enjoyed going with the family.
Great escape room experience with tricky puzzles and intricate, multi-room scenarios. Many of the puzzles have low completion rates, so expect some difficult puzzles, but tons of fun and great for team and family experiences!
It was fun for the group as we did it as a Corp event.
Very friendly staff. There wasnt a group after us so they let us spend a few extra minutes finishing up our room. Small parking lot so carpooling is a good idea if bringing a large group.
First escape room experience and it was a blast. Good for friends and families. Recommend the Museum Room.
Great escape rooms and energetic staff! The maintenance level and the thematic experience are probably the best in Seattle/Bellevue area.
Pretty fun life size puzzle escape games. Nice people working here.
Wonderful family fun, much more challenging than I thought would live to complete every room!
This place is great. The intro by staff was a bit rushed but otherwise good. The rooms are hard so bring your smart friends.
Had a blast here with my coworkers. We probably had too many in the room but this was a great first escape room experience.
A great place. We really enjoyed it. We highly recommend it.
Had a great time with some friends even though we failed :). Lots of fun and challenging
Lots of fun, loved it. Wasnt easy to get out of the room which gave you a sense of accomplishment.
Weve gone twice with three adults and 2 kids each time. We have had a lot of fun and plan on going again.
I have been here twice and had a great team building experience. A few of the puzzles seemed a bit obscure
