The checkers are nice. However, I have a cart half full of food around 7:30pm and I have to do self checkout! There is not adequate room to do self check out. So, either the room to put food needs to be bigger or they need to keep a lane or two open. Also, should I be seeing a price drop in food because we are checking ourselves out? Kinda like Win-Co does.

Specifically, the deli here is absolutely terrible. They seem annoyed when you ask them to do their job. They never have eggs. Last time I asked for a breakfast burrito the oven wasn’t even on. The rest of the store is fine in my experience. I come here two to three times a week as I work in the area.

As a Communications major, I find it EXTREMELY important with how employees communicate with their customers. Literally the employees are so inconsiderate and don’t have proper communication skills. I asked one of the workers a question, and he was still walking and seemed like he was trying to avoid me. I asked him who else I can ask my question and he pointed out to guest services. I went to guest services to ask for help, he right away said “no I can’t do that”. I only asked him to check if they have an item in the back because the product I was looking for wasn’t on the shelf. Horrible experience. It shows how low their quality is.

One of the worst deli departments in the area. Came in to buy a sandwich and there was no one up front, when I finally find someone the guy says he’ll be right over but then decides to attend 3 other customers who showed up after I was there. As they came he blew me off and I had to wait over 10 minutes to make an order. Had to go find another employee and she was nice enough to take my order, her name was shaina. Two days in a row the service here is terrible. If you don’t like working with people then maybe find another job

I wont normally review a grocery store but Lia in customer service went above and beyond to resolve my product issue on Saturday Oct 30! Well done!

Awesome store, reasonable prices for members not for outsider, the difference in prices is large. But otherwise a good store, I like their soups (though limited varity) and salads.

Not my favorite location some of the staff can be pretty rude and customers are even worse. This location needs more handicap parking spaces since parking in handicap is almost impossible here, very limited spaces. Thanks to a bit of kindness from an employee or 2 it keeps my rating at 4 stars. I drive to the Kirkland location rather than shop here. It’s much nicer and friendlier there.

Aaron was really helpful got to help me prepare the cabbage in smaller lb and the asian women here who works at the check out was really friendly my dog was having a bad day and she was able to calm her down 💖 thanks so much I got what I needed here ☺️

On October 16 @ 11:20am I went to customer service to pay my bill thru moneygram a lady behind the counter tells me they are not longer doing that, the only thing they do is send money through western union or money order that is it I try to explain her the sign right over her head it says they do hv service and I can pay my bill here she keep refusing that and I ask her to speak to her manager and she say she is the manager and I just left.worst customer service !

I don’t like this place.1) the guy working the self checkout stations, he decided he was going to have a conversation with the service desk while walking backwards runs into me and the cart then has the audacity to have an attitude towards me!2) another time I get a phone call while in line the cashier yells “HELLO what do you want” 🤦🏽‍♀️ this was a business call as I was on call for work and was being called in!In these cases honestly this is environmentally related, management I feel does a poor job not keeping track of their employees and the lazy manner of which they operate.On another occasion the lady in the deli section was great, very kind and helpful to help fill a simple order of chicken but we needed 50 pieces. 🤷🏽‍♀️So if I can avoid this place I do!

Love Safeway and dont go to the Redmond store very often. One of the reasons is the produce isnt as fresh as the Duvall store. My Mom picked out grapes & I didnt realize she didnt open the container prior to buying and when we got home realized they were bad.

Safeway is always good with their deals and their prices I end up going there for one thing but leave there with so much because of the deals the sales. And their employees are very friendly and helpful almost array of sunshine

I love this town. Everyone is so friendly. I was on a rush looking for some items that I couldnt find and Jenny told me where they were and there they were! I didnt even ask her and she approach me. I instantly felt the sense of community with employees like her I am coming back to safeway and make it my home grocery store. 🧡

I like my neighbourhood Safeway. But this latina employee is rude .They also have limited inventory.If there is a popular weekly sale item it will be out of stock the second day .

Unwilling to accept egift cards. Waited in line for a human cashier in order to use my egift card which does not work on self-serve POS stations and manager was called to tell me that it needs to be printed. Ive read other reviews from Safeway customers and believe they simply stated this due to lack of training on how to accept egift cards. Rather than tell customers it needs to be printed, they could have tried to assist in processing the transaction and discovering how to utilize egift cards then and there but no.

Pharmacy Safeway has gotten horrid services here,AMA needs to shut them down,missing scripts for her a .month now,ordered a medicine over a month ago,still not ready for pick up and than they play stupid,,, OMG,,,with is going in here...... . .

A great selection of items and produce. Also being the only one open till 1 am in the vicinity. The only problem being that I have always encountered a box of strawberries or raspberries with some fungus. So keep an eye out for that.

I love this store, specially the timing. Its open till late that means you can go in when its not during rush hours and also shop at your convenience. I love most of the stuff except the fruits. Its always that I have noticed that the fruits have fungus on it (atleast 1 box will have it always for ah fruit). Other than that its amazing :)

This is a good place for grocery shopping and food as well. Tried their Fried Chicken Thigh and Wings and it was cheap and good.During this Covid situation they were providing free (set of 3) reusable cloth masks as well. Well done.

Nice and cool on a warm day, but needed a bathroom and they had the cheapest toilet paper Ive ever experienced; it tore so I constantly got less than a full square. Had I known I would have purchased toilet paper and taken it in with me. Left and enjoyed my giant bottle of water but hoping Id never need to stop in there again.

The best part about this safeway is that it is next to yummy Teriyaki, and I can go next door to said safeway for the best Yaki around.Also, NEVER BUY MEAT OR SEAFOOD from any Safeway. Trust me.

This Safeway location is easy to travel to, full of a wide selection of items from deli to canned food, and there is ample parking. Dont hesitate to stop by for a quick stop for dinner or that grocery run for the week.

There are multiple employees who neglect to wear masks, or wear them improperly, which is weird considering the Covid Safety Precautions announcement that often plays over the store intercom meant to tell customers about the safety measures the store is taking.440k dead and people are still acting like its nothing serious. In any case, as a store employee a mask is part of your uniform. If you cant wear one, maybe you shouldnt be working where there are customers.This is the nearest grocery store to my home, unfortunately the lack of protocol keeps me far away unless absolutely necessary.

Man this store has one entrance closed and somebody meaning the door to count. Walked in and cards just in the doorway in chaotic fashion. Got a sandwich at the deli counter, fast service but told me register was closed. Lines backed up all over the store almost no registers open. Had to go to Starbucks to check out. Are there any managers at these stores?

Tonight, April 13th, at 9:50pm, I bought flowers for my daughter whose birthday was today. The store was closing in 10 minutes; the cashier who charged me asked if I wanted my receipt, I said no because I felt as though the cashier wanted people to leave as soon as possible, which I understand due to the pandemic. Then I picked up the flowers and left the counter. At the main door a worker who was stopping other customers from coming in due to the store closing soon, snatched the flowers from my hand and asked if I paid for them. I am a businessman and have a business in Redmond Downtown. I felt really humiliated because of the way he grabbed the flowers from my hand. It felt like I was some sort of thief. He was in a gray shirt and I think he is the manager. But he didnt have manners and did not know how to talk properly and respectfully with customers. I have been living in this area for 15 years, and I visit Safeway every other day. I only go to Safeway, here I am spending my money, and I am getting this kind of behaviour? This is not a good way to keep a customer. The Safeway headquarters should take action on this!

Horrible customer service. They charged me $1 per lb extra for the broccoli I bought. When I pointed out the mistake, they made me go from counter to counter and wait for 15 minutes+, and finally told me, the price they had marked was wrong. Even if the price was wrong, any decent store would adjust the price on behalf of the customer. Not this store!!! Attaching the picture of my receipt and also the price of the broccoli.

I got double charged for my purchase. I paid for my items, but didnt need a receipt, afterwards I went to the Starbucks kiosk to get some water. The employee insisted that I had not paid for my food ($11 for lunch items) and demanded I pay. I reluctantly did, because my lunch break was already halfway through due to the shopping. If I do shop here again, Ill make sure I keep every receipt, just to save myself time and money and to avoid the embarrassment of being accused of theft.

This is the my closest 24/7 (almost... thanks covid) grocery store. If you have the just for you app, you can clip coupons in the app and the coupons automatically apply. Shopping without membership will be expensive. Membership is free. The veggies are mostly fresh and we had minimum interaction with staff owning to self checkout. At times when I mixed up my coupons staff was helpful.

I think this is a Safeway Superstore. Really big and well stocked, but man, are their prices high for many items. I mean really... $5.00 for one cantaloupe??? But they almost always have chocolate milk when the Safeway on 24th is often out. For some reason, Ive been craving chocolate milk during the quarantine. Guess I need some good old fashioned comfort food. If you are what you eat, then Im a PB&J sandwich with a big glass of ice cold chocolate milk.

I am in town for business a second week in a row. Last week I tried the boneless wings to have back at the hotel. The buffalo style wings had not much flavor at all. I believe they were the worst tasting boneless wings I have ever had, Thankfully I purchased a large thing of ranch dressing which gave the chicken somewhat of a flavor (This was last week). This week on Monday 9.21 I tried the fried chicken special, well the chicken taste like is was fried in very well used burnt oil. The chicken has a burnt flavor. It is edible if you can get past the burnt taste. Not happy with the food out of the food court area so far.

We are regulars at this Safeway. The employees are usually wonderful and helpful. I find the best sales on organic and grass fed meats here and I’ve compared to many other stores. My only complaint is that the shopping carts really could use replaced and the bathrooms need updated with a diaper changing station.

Management is horrible especially the plump lady with the long black hair. Asian lady at self checkout is slow and rude. Lines are always long. Staff is disinterested and slow. Worst safeway ive been to. Its my neighborhood market and i still dont go here unless i have to.

Horrible first experience. I just moved to Redmond and this was my first time shopping for groceries. I dont know if Im just unlucky or what. But I went to this store in the evening and another woman who was shopping there randomly started targeting me and yelling at me. She was incoherent so I didnt even know what she was yelling about. I think she mightve been homeless but was walking around the store talking loudly and decided to follow me around. I had to abandon my cart and leave out of fear. Probably wont be going back here.Oh, and there was another girl outside, right by the entrance, asking for change from people walking in. I went home and got Amazon Fresh instead.

Very dirty unkeptd grocery store.The next time I plan on speaking with management about this matter.

There was not enough checkout lines open despite the store having plenty of employees around. There was one express checkout, one regular, and four self checkouts and each was backed up so you had to wait in line halfway down the half stocked aisles which made it difficult to maintain social distancing from the people still trying to shop.

This is the dirtiest Safeway on the Eastside. But I dont personally care. But Google asked so.

Even though I came in after sandwich station had closed the person at the deli counter went above and beyond to help me out. He was able to whip up a hot sandwich. I really appreciated it as I had been traveling for over 9 hrs at that point.

The employees at this particular location are super chill. I never feel out of place even though I do dress weird. The customers arent terrible either. Everyone is very to each their own or friendly but I have never encountered any mean or rude people here.As for the selection, they have never not had what I have been looking for. This isnt my regular grocery but it is convenient for my after work route.

This is the Best Safeway Ive ever had the pleasure of shopping at. There is an extensive selection of products. There are both self checkout and cashiers as well as courtesy clerks to help you. This was just a quick trip first time at this store. I look forward to visiting this location again.

I was here a while back and the lady in deli was cleaning and then didn’t change her gloves when she cut up some meat for me. I thought ok that’s a one off maybe she was just preoccupied. Nope, just left and exact same lady was cleaning up a storm, I asked for ham and she kept the exact same gloves on and touched every piece of meat as it came off the machine.

If you want to choose one grocery store where you can buy everything your list, Safeway is the answer from organic to frozen foods, meat, cakes etc. they have everything you need to go no further.

I am not satisfied with Redmond Safeway and their services. The birthday cake I ordered is full of cream and least of cake. Also they don’t have patience to hear how we want the cake. I always order cake in Kirkland Safeway and it’s lot better than this one.

I always go there when Im nearby and need groceries. Nice produce and bakery shelves. Other shelves are nice too. Coffee kiosk might stock more single origin, organic fair trade beans. Other than that, highly recommend.

I was having a hard time figuring out how to redeem my digital coupons and my checker was very nice and she helped me get it all set up.

24 hour store. Awesome selection of frozen dinner. Good deals on Safeway rewards card. Be sure to ask for new reward card if you dont have one.

Great customer service

Everything was so neat and tidy as per the usual with Safeway. The benefit of this particular location is the concentration on pre-made goods and the bakery/deli. The sandwiches and salads are fresh made and the baked goods are fantastic. The only downside I can think of this location is the cuts of steak at the butcher here dont get very high end. Other than that, its a fantastic store.
