I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher at the Redwood City Airport Appliance location. I was impressed with the ambiance & selection at this showroom. I was equally impressed with my salesperson, Mike Moreno. He went well beyond my expectations in spending time with me & finding out the specifics of different models. He doesn’t just provide “flip answers”, but rather seeks to provide the customer with accuracy.For future appliance purchases, I will again choose to utilize Airport Appliances & Mike Moreno.

They have the most extensive collection you can ask for, cooked with much better service, price, and stock availability compared to big box retailers. I would highly recommend checking them outI was able to select when to get delivery of my refrigerator, and they gave me a 4 hour window during which the delivery would arrive. Their live delivery tracking app allowed me to plan my time and i even got a 30min heads-up.Fantastic experience!

Nice, new Redwood City showroom. A lot of different appliance models to see there. More than other stores I visited. The electronic price tags show you how many they have in stock of each appliance, which is helpful if you need a quick replacement.I bought a new refrigerator there and it was too large for the space in my kitchen! My measurement error was in not considering the space needed for a pull out freezer drawer. The delivery guy was great and encouraged me to exchange it for a different choice. I immediately headed back to the store to pick out a fridge that was a much better fit. I still got the freezer drawer, but counter-depth. The second fridge delivery was only a few days later.I appreciated their patience and understanding! Loving my new refrigerator.

Be warned! You cannot pick your delivery day or delivery window!I was given about 13 or 14 hours heads up before they were going to be there at 7:30 in the morning! I had to cancel several meetings and was given no option to reschedule other than cancelling the delivery. I definitely will go to a national chain in the future.

Have bought several appliances from Airport Appliance. Service has always been great. Staff is knowledgeable about their products and wiling to spend time exploring options and answering questions. We will certainly deal with them again.

Simon was very informative detailing the differences in the 30 in gas ranges I was looking at. Delivery and installation was within just a few days of purchase. and very prompt and good service.Simon was extremely helpful in suggesting an easy backsplash solution that matches the range. Broan makes a piece of stainless steel 30 or 36 in that is predrilled for 4 screws (49.00 at LOWES). I put it in as the old range was taken out and it could not have been easier! Literally 5 min.Thank you AIRPORT APPLIANCE! I bought my Frigidaire stacking washer and dryer there 8 years ago...I LOVE them. Because of that I went with the Frigidaire Pro 30 i gas range. Looks GREAT!

Although I was not phoned 20-30 minutes before delivery and was shocked to see their arrival, they were very patient. They said they only had my home phone and have instructions to call a cell phone, which I could have provided if asked. I called my helper and quickly unloaded the freezer and fridge as they waited. Ive bought several things from AHA over the years with good results.

I was hesitant to look here for a new clothes dryer because I thought that they were expensive compared to the big box stores. To my surprise, they were much less expensive

Quite a big store although from outside it looks small, and the parking area is in the back. There are so many choices of refrigerators, washer and dryer, oven etc.

Great in-house showroom helped us pick the range that fit our needs.The delivery crew worked fast, carefully taking our old range out and installing the new range. Then they stayed to show us how the new range worked, the fastest way to register the range, how to obtain the full manual, and then answered all of our questions very clearly.From showroom to delivery, everything was performed with great professionalism.

Is this what you called white glove service? It is horrible. Now I am going on 1 week of no food in the house since I dont have a refrigerator, with an inept team that is focusing on time. I refuse to ever buy from them again. 15 year relationship with a company down the drain. I will no longer buy from them.

I just bought a house and needed a refrigerator to fit inside the cabinetry opening. I spoke with Garrett Peardon and he found me the perfect size refrigerator and they had it in stock! He set up delivery and made sure I had the right connector for the ice maker. It was delivered by their professional service and installed quickly. Their delivery service was well coordinated with notification on the four hour window and then on the day of delivery I got a call an hour ahead to let me know when they would be there. The refrigerator fit perfectly and I am pleased with the whole process. Garrett even followed up with me to make sure all went smoothly.

So let me tell you a little story about why I gave a 1 star review about this place.I had bought a washer-dryer from this place a few weeks ago, we walked in browsed around spoke to a sales rep. The sales rep greeted us, showed us some models then proceed to play on his phone.Okay so whatever, we decided to buy a unit anyways through another rep that wasnt playing around. We put in the delivery address, gave them delivery instructions, and paid. I should say now that the billing address was different from the delivery address. The billing address was never brought up in the conversation with the sales rep.1.5 weeks pass, we get a text. We are delivering your new washer-dryer to your billing address, not the delivery address.We politely text them back and call the store as well, a sales rep said they would make the change as well.Come delivery day, we get another text We will arrive in 30mins to your BILLING ADDRESSWe call the store, no answer. We call the rep, he said he will get it done and make sure the delivery will arrive at the correct address.30 mins pass, we get a call. The delivery people had delivered to the BILLING ADDRESS. The sales reps there are incompetent as heck. Next time, have them reiterate which address they will send it to, but definitely expect them to get it wrong.

Great buying experience, delivery was within a couple days due to busy schedule -- the team was professional and easy to work with. Only downside was that they could not complete the installation of a gas dryer, because they only stock a 4-foot long gas line connector, but my setup required a 5-foot long connector and for some reason there is a policy that prohibits them from just reusing the existing perfectly-good gas line connector. My installation charges are being refunded. Installation was solved by a quick trip to Home Depot.

Dont believe any arrival dates on appliances from these people! The continued delay of appliances is exasperating! I understand theres a problem due to Covid, but this is ridiculous!!! I was told I would get my dishwasher which I ordered in April, originally to arrive July, would now come on Sept 16th. I asked they call to be sure as I needed to arrange my contractor to put a front on it and they said yes, it will be here Sept 16th. I just was told its now going to be 3 weeks from now! How is that possible! Are they giving my dishwasher to someone else????

When you get there the inside is always under construction. There almost always on the phone or talking to someone so if your lucky enough to get a sale person right when you get there hold on to them.there knowable about there stock and try to be helpful when they can.

We first shopped Airport Appliance several years ago for a new dishwasher, then came back for a microwave, refrigerator, washer and dryer (our house and its appliances are/were a little old. The oven is holding on by a thread!). Airport always has the best selection of brands with competitive values. But its the delivery and installation services that clinch it for me--always fast, professional and HASSLE FREE WELL-EXECUTED INSTALLS compared to other experiences I had before shopping with them. Im sure well be back soon for a new oven in the near future!

Would be five stars but they didnt ask whether our kitchen had the current standard gas line valve, which is 5/8. Ours was 1/2, so it took a second trip for them to install after we had the gas line valve changed. But they have great salespersons, prices, communications, and install crew. We buy everything there for 4 family houses. And will go back in the future.

I would have checked “maybe” if you had it. I’ve had good experiences in the past, but this one was not the best. First, when the delivery came, I was told that they couldn’t disconnect the water line for the ice maker. He said that I would have to call a plumber! I objected. He then called his boss and was told how to do it.Then, when the fridge was brought in, I saw that it was stainless steel! I thought I was getting white because that’s what I had before and it was the picture he showed me on the website. Then, there were no ice trays! David (delivery guy) said that it doesn’t come with ice trays! I told him that I had specifically asked Muhammad about that and he assured m3 that ice trays would come with it. I then called to talk to mug, but he was off. I’ll be calling again Monday. I can’t believe that a refrigerator would not have ice trays with it!

I spent over $8k on 5 kitchen appliances. The refrigerator broke down in less than a month. Airport will not do anything & told me to call the manufacturer. After much advocating, my contact at Airport finally said that usually they provide a temporary refrigerator in these situations, but are all out now (that tells you A LOT), I could come down to the store and buy a small one to use until mine is fixed. Really? I would not spend another penny at this store, ever. Furthermore, they refuse to compensate me for all of the food that is ruined.I also had issues when some of the appliances had not arrived at Airports warehouse by the date. Nobody seemed to know why. After many telephone calls by me, I got my salesman to admit that the over the range microwave I ordered was discontinued, and that the original refrigerator I ordered would be delayed another 3 to 4 months if not discontinued. Why did I have to make multiple calls to get the truth?

We are very glad we went to Airport Appliance and met Mr. Muhammed Rahman for our appliance needs. We went in with stringent constraints for our small condo:1) counter-depth 33 wide refrigerator (widely sold models are 36 wide).2) apartment-style washer/dryer which is ventless, runs on 110v, and doesnt require major remodelling.3) speed oven (oven+microwave) that runs on 110vMr. Muhammed introduced us to Miele Washer/Dryer and he spent a considerable amount of time, giving his own personal experience with the brand, to convince us that this is the best fit for our needs. Fast forward, this W/D works like magic and my wife loves it. We are so happy to finally be able to do in-home laundry. Miele never came-up in my own research and in visits to other big stores. Big kudos to Airport Appliance and Mr. Muhammed for guiding us to make the right choice.Likewise, for refrigerator (GE) and speed oven (Bosch), we really like the models Mr. Muhammeds picked for us.All the appliances were delivered on time and all the delivery personnel were very kind and personable.Will always go back to this branch for future needs.

Competitive pricing, good sales people. Delivery and take away offered. Only complaint is they didnt bring the 90 degree hoses for our new Samsung washer, otherwise everything was great. Installers were quick, hauled the old one away and didnt damage anything putting it in.

In immediate need of a refrigerator, visited three stores. Airport was the only one with next-day delivery. More significantly, Wendy was knowledgeable of the products available, and showed us several alternatives explaining pros and cons of each. Delivery and installation went very smoothly.

I purchased a dishwasher, and the home delivery scheduling system did not meet my needs. You can select the day its delivered in advance, but you cannot select you delivery window in advance. The 3rd-party delivery service calls you the day before the delivery to provide a 4-hour delivery window. So essentially, you have to leave the entire delivery day free until you get that call. Comcast and Jury Duty have better systems. I just dont understand how this system can exist. It does not meet the needs of busy customers. Additionally one point of contact would be ideal. Instead you go form sales, to logistics, to the 3rd party delivery vendor. That said, the Airport Appliance staff was professional, helpful, and friendly throughout the process. Its just the delivery system that is unsatisfactory.

We purchased our appliances at Airport Home Appliances the Redwood City location. We had Jigme assist us with the purchase and he has been absolutely fantastic to work it.Purchasing during the pandemic has a lot of logistic issues such as long lead times and delays which we were informed of and understood that is beyond the control of Airport Home Appliances.We made the purchases in March and received all the appliances by EOD July, well in advance on when we wanted them but nonetheless happy that we had a quick turn around.Jigme through out the process kept us updated on the progress. Helped us ensure we were able to submit the applications for the Rebates with GE and Melei. I couldnt thank him enough for his professionalism and care of us as customers.

Much better selection than the previous location, but similar customer service. Walked all the way through the shop, passed by 5 sales reps and the front desk, and only 1 person said hello.. Nevertheless, the selection is good and prices are in line.

Much thanks to Cici for helping select a replacement for our older LG refrigerator and ensuring the delivery with Airport Appliances next-day service. However, the delivery crew had unplanned events on delivery day, and cancelled the delivery. The call-in line to the store was hit-and-miss, but ultimately Cici worked magic finding a crew to ultimately complete the delivery. What started as frustrating day, ended (albeit late in the day) with the refrigerator installed. The crew did an excellent job removing the old and installing the new! Cici worked thru many obstacles to make the delivery happened as scheduled. Despite the delivery issues, I would recommend Airport Appliance and working with Cici. Thanks for the excellent customer service.

Order my new dishwasher over the phone as I knew what I wanted. The salesperson was helpful, I was able to get the one I wanted before it went out of stock (again!). Delivery was way out of the delivery window (it was the week.before Thanksgiving so kinda understandable), but trying to find out what was no one could confirm an new ETA. They eventually showed up at 9:30pm -- poor guys.

Our Thermador Cooktop died during the Quarantine (after 20 yrs of HARD LABOR) and Airport Appliance (Malay Vaghela salesman) took GREAT care of us. we were able to get it installed in less than a week. Great job.

Poor communications with sales after the order was placed and paid. Delivery too >2 months. Terrible communications with the installer (Apogee is terrible, and that reflects poorly on Airport. You should check their Yelp! reviews. How can you continue to use them? Next time, we will happily pay up and use Atherton Appliance, who has a much more customer-centric approach. Sorry to report this, as we have used you often in the past for rental homes as well as our own personal appliance needs, but things have changed for the worse over recent years, and we are no longer even remotely satisfied with the performance of either Airport or Apogee.

I have spent close to 8K on appliances from this company. Bought two refrigerators, a microwave, washer and a drier. The in-store experience is great. The online experience is one level above a scam. Avoid ordering anything over the internet: post purchase they charged me, never followed up, and after a month and a half of waiting they told me that my dishwasher was not even produced any longer (and the order would have never been filled).So, avoid online, go to the physical store.

Best delivery time in Bay Area! We were not lucky, though - tried to purchase a GE Profile refrigerator. 3 fridges in a row were delivered with manufacturing defects. The store was very kind to open 3 more boxes in the warehouse, but other fridges were not good enough either.

Terrible customer service. We ordered a washer/dryer over Labor Day weekend. Finally arrived in October (COVID, we get it). Washer arrived damaged. We called Airport Appliance and were told a new one would be ordered and would take another 6-8 weeks. Not ideal with a newborn on the way and laundry room under construction (which cant be finished until the W/D are installed), but okay. 8 weeks came and went, and we were then told someone from AA would just come out and fix our current damaged washer. Each time we tried to arrange a date, we were told that theyd get back to us. Called last week to the store (RWC) three times, no return phone calls. Nothing set up, no follow through, and we are still living in a construction zone. Buyer beware!

It was great price - the total for the same model was cheaper than at Best Buy, for example. The turnaround time was the quickest I was able to find as well. I made my order over the phone around 4 pm on Tuesday. Same week, 10 am Thursday I was making the first load to my new washing machine.

Not very good experience. Hard people to communicate with after sale is completed. We have unresolved issues for almost a year and no help insight.

The Sales was smooth and the Dryer was brought the following day because the one I wanted a Speed Queen was in stock. The only two problems I had which were resolved within the day I received delivery were. A dent was on the dryer when it was taken out of the box and I am to receive a 10% off for the damage that will be credited to my card. The other was that the door was supposed to be changed to left hand swing and was not done at time of delivery, this was rectified by two other installers who also leveled out the dryer properly with a level and not by eye. I give AA an A for follow up to make everything right and as reversing the door was done by two professionals who got the door on correct so getting to the dryer from our Speed Queen washing machine on the right side of our sanitary tub can be done with ease now. To offer the 10% credit was fair as it is cosmetic damage and these things happen, So I give AA four stars because they did fix the door issue in 24 hours and I feel they learned something today and they do appreciate our business,, Tom (20)

These are tough times in the appliance industry. Our refrigerator went out and we needed a replacement. We went to several stores and online to try to find/order a replacement and every one of those stores was quoting 4 to 8 weeks for delivery. We needed something soon. Airport Appliance was able to confirm a couple of options that we could have delivered in under a week so we bought one with a specific delivery date commitment.They keep me updated and delivered our new refrigerator on time and installed with professionalism. Definitely a customer for life.

When I was looking to purchase a new washing machine, I only needed to let my fingers do the walking because I simply phoned them and was given fantastic information by Wendy. She was knowledgeable and professional, and was able to answer all our questions and order the machine we wanted. I only knocked off one star because the installers were negligent and didnt remove the shipping brace. During the high speed spin that machine bucked like a bronco and damaged itself. But Airport sent experienced installers back out to remove the bracket and ended up ordering us a whole new washer. That was an expensive mistake by the first installers.

As a repeat customer, I love that I can just call, speak to a salesperson and tell them what I need and in a few minutes complete the sale. Delivery is always free and for $25 they will take your old appliance off your hands. I have always had my appliance within 3 days of purchase. Gabriel Riley what are salesmen from the Hayward store. From the first phone call that we had he was real polite and was able to answer all questions about the product and and help us get it ordered. Was able to order it on Tuesday in receive it on Thursday thats a pretty quick turnaround. The delivery guys was this as nice as Gabriel they brought the new one in and hooked it up and made sure it ran and explain the few things to me about it. I would recommend Airport Appliance and Gabriel in the and the delivery man to anybody period. It reminds me of the old appliance store we had in Vacaville call Chandlers Appliance always willing to help. I will always do business with a company that has the old time values. I bought a BEST under the cabinet range hood with an external blower to increase the suction power. The sales, knowing exactly what I was purchasing, didn’t tell me those two can’t work together. We found it out after both had been installed. Now the sales and the store told me they can’t be returned or exchanged because they were installed. :(( No one at the store wants to take responsibility or find a solution while I am stuck with $2200 of products that can’t work. The matter dragged on for over a month, the store or the sales never contacted me and was very reluctant returning my calls. Had been an extremely frustrating experience with about $2000 loss. Stay away!

Good salesperson who gave me the pros and cons of the different models and the warranty extensions. Delivery of the dishwasher was quick, 2 days, and the installation pair were very good and thorough about their work. Kept the kitchen area quite clean and there was absolutely no damage to the floors or the counters or the doorways.

In renovating a duplex, we had to purchase several appliances in one go, on a budget. Staff was helpful; particularly so when the pandemic hit, and everything had to be stored for months. Delivery was efficient and professional, too.

Garrett and Muhammed in Redwood City did a great job with the sale of a fridge to us-no real issues, and the new fridge was delivered on time (within a few days), with faster delivery than any other stores, which is great! The delivery people did have some trouble getting the old fridge and the new fridge through our stairwell (2 flights), going around the winding corners. I think the fridges were just too tall, maybe?, to round the corners of the stairwells. They told me to remove the railings, the only way possible. I tried with a wrench I had, but it took me a long time just to remove one. Luckily, they gave me a drill w/ bit to remove the other railings faster. Otherwise, they said they would have to leave and come back another time. (Looking back, well definitely get a shorter fridge next time we have to replace, so we dont have to remove any railings). All in all, I think the 2 delivery guys did a great job delivering and setting up the new fridge, and hauling away the old one. Its really terrible to have your fridge die at this point in time during a pandemic. But life must go on, and we are very thankful that Airport Appliance was able to deliver a very necessary fridge super quickly to us in our time of need.
