Was extremely happy with the service I received. They were efficient, friendly and did great work. I have been working with another glass company for months trying to get a power, heated window for my F350 truck. The other company did not seem able to get the part and over half of the time didn’t answer the phone. So truly this was a wonderful relief to all the headache I had been through. Had to use them because we have progressive insurance, and scheduled through the website including providing aVIN number . Showed up with the wrong windshield guess what its our fault will never use them again. Tried to talk at management on the phone because I was told by the young woman to whom I was speaking that mistakes happen- oh well. Terrible customer service.
I looked all over for over a month for the window for my truck. No one had it. Finally went to Safelite, they had over 300. Of course, it cost 3 times what the other companies would have charged if they could have gotten it. Happy to have a new windshield. I did have to pay an additional $35 for them to come to my work. It would have taken longer to bring it to the shop.
Everyone was very nice and friendly! They were so busy! I was early for my appt.for my windshield to be replaced. They got me in quick and it only took about an hour. Jeremy (the technician), came and spoke with me when he was done. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Safelite!!
We were traveling through Nevada, when our windshield was hit by some gravel. We detoured to Reno to have the window repaired before heading over the Sierras. They were very busy, but found time to repair the chip and get us back on our road trip. Cant thank them enough for their professionalism and caring they showed for our situation.

Love this place. They came to my house to install the windshield. On time. Friendly. I had an issue with the rearview mirror (wobbly); but, they fixed it immediately when I noticed it 5 days later.
Impossible to reach by phone, 30+ minutes on hold with national phone line. Their local number also transfers you to the national line. If these people can spend so much on advertising that their jingle is stuck in your head, they can afford to put enough people on the phone to answer faster than the DMV or IRS.
My installation of the glass went well, but two days later my rear view mirror fell off. I went in right away and the tech put it back on saying my type of car (Porsche SUV) was sensitive and difficult 😒 Three weeks later it fell off again while driving back to Reno from San Jose.. I was so irritated I ended up taking it to my regular mechanic. Crossing fingers.

After less than a year, their replacement windshield cracked on its own.I asked for warranty replacement. Appointment was set between 1pm and 5pm. Two (2) techs showed up at about 4:30 and after sending pictures to their manager - manager decided it cant be replaced thru the warranty. Nice customer service, way to loose a customer.Will not use them again and will find another place for my autoglass needs!

Yesterday (1.22.2020), I had JJ with #Safelite come and repair my windshield at work. 1 word Amazing! He was quick, courteous, knowledgeable, responsive, and above all he put up with me (I am a pain in the butt to deal with in car issues, I ask a lot of questions, I take a long time to get to answer, and I am forgetful too....trust me) nevertheless. He was done in 1/2 the time he said/quoted. Which allowed me to get to my next event in Reno...ON TIME (or not so behind, that part is my fault on being 30 mins late to the debate)!! He was a total professional, respectful. JJ was great and if you are as lucky as I to have him work on your windshield, after something so bad to have cause you to call Safelite. Please give him an extra thanks or write a review.

I had to cancel my appointment because I had to go to urgent care. I walked in today and they got me in, did the repair, and I was out super quick.
They replaced my windshield in the time requested. It didnt feel like they did anything above and beyond. Thats not a bad thing but five stars is when you go beyond the expectations of your customers.

When I pulled up to my appointment Every service stall in the place was full except one, which as it turned out was mine. Once we confirmed the online quote I had was correct, they were on it immediately. I was in and out in an hour with a new liftgate glass. The only reason I cant give them a 5 star rating is because they didnt have a retainer clip for the lift assist and so I still cant open my glass. It seems like that would be something an auto glass shop should have. That aside, the only way I could be more satisfied would be if it was free.

Working in customer service, I understand that there are things that are out of an employees control. With that in mind, I really tried to give this company leeway with the misfortunes I experienced.I made an appointment online to get my windshield replaced. A day before the appointment, I received both a text and email confirmation about my appointment (I understand that those are automated). I confirmed that I still wanted to go through with the scheduled date and time.The following morning I arrived at 7:30am--the earliest time that I could drop off my vehicle for an all-day appointment. I made arrangements with my husband and work to make sure I could get my vehicle in early (in order to pick it up earlier).When I spoke with the associate for drop-off, I was informed that they never received the windshield AND that it was on back-order--so it will be another two weeks before they can get me in.The associate himself was very apologetic and the conversation with him was pleasant. Things happen, it was not his fault. I rescheduled with him.It is now the day before my rescheduled appointment and all Im trying to do is confirm that they received the part. I do not want to go in again, just to be turned away because the part didnt arrive on time. Ive called three times, each with a 15-minute (or more) hold, without speaking to a live person.There is no option to leave a voicemail nor is there any way to leave a message on their website (only confirm or cancel the appointment).Unfortunately, my windshield is now in a state where I cannot wait much longer for it to be replaced. I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of communication (or even being able to reach a live representative) is very discouraging.Again, the one interaction I did have with an associate was very pleasant. I was recommended by a family member and wanted to support the business because of the positive referral. But trying to contact a person again has been impossible unless I want to drive down there in-person today, just to get a yes or no answer. I have now made a new appointment with another company (all done with a live person) to be seen tomorrow, parts ready.

My tech showed up.on time. Used social distancing also. Explained procedure and was done within 15 minutes! You cant even tell there was a chip in my windshield! I highly recommend them to whoever needs windshield repair.

I have read some of the other reviews and I understand the frustration of the Reno shop not answering the phone. Im leaving 5 stars for a particular technician (Brandon) and not the company itself as a good tech can work for any company. Ive had 2 windows replaced previously and Brandon did an excellent job. I watched him do the entire job. I needed another window replaced so I specifically asked for Brandon. He did another excellent job. Im not saying the other techs dont do a good job, I just know that when you find a good person, you stick with them. You wont be disappointed with this tech. One thing I will mention about the company itself is they use a proprietary system to remove your old windshield. Ive seen other companies use sharp blades, reciprocating saws with sharp attachments which can all chip the paint away causing damage or rust over time. Safelite doesnt allow their techs to use these methods. This is another reason to chose them, or at least make sure the company you chose doesnt use these techniques! Thanks for reading.

Had my windshield replaced today after making an all day appointment. Which to me is not an appointment if I have to leave it all day. Returned to pick up my car and my rearview mirror broke into pieces. They told me it was broken when I brought it in. Not true. They are the only ones that touched that mirror that day. I must assume someone is covering up there mishandling the job. They told me, after a few minutes of arguing and denying fault, that I was lucky and it would be covered by the warranty. They said they will call me in 7-10 days when the part arrives. Right now they dont have the credibility for me to believe them. How could they let that car leave the shop knowing the mirror was broken and would not stay in position?

I want to apologize to Safelite Reno for posting a poor reveiw when it appears it was all my fault! Apparantly my antennae was missing when I came in! I was frustrated when the first two phone #s you gave me put me on a loop and then hung up! I was told to e-mail you guys which I did but with my schedule I needed to talk with a real person today because if I couldnt get through I would have to come down after 4 pm. Anyway I hope Safelite Reno get this because they did a good job and the problem was all my fault. Thats why youre smart to take pictures! If I can erase the reveiw I will. This place was Great! I was referred here by my insurance company and glad I was. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional and friendly. I needed my windshield replaced and their service was fast. They 100% stand by there work. I would recommend them to anyone who needed glass repair. They even helped me with my rattling dash board. Worst customer service in Reno
Ive had about half a dozen windshields replaced by Safelite over the years. All have been covered by my insurance (I have a $0 glass deductible with Progressive), and the process has always been very convenient and easy. Its really nice having them travel to where the vehicle is located. All the installers Ive dealt with have been respectful, courteous, and done a good job. No complaints here.
Unfortunate incident while driving to Reno; road detour lead us into road construction with loose gravel and of course a rock knocked my windshield. However fortunately the good news was that Safelite had an available appointment and was able to fix hit before I had back to LV.Fast friendly service; you can barely tell its there.Mahalos

Fast installation. My rear view mirror was messed up from a previous window installation but SafeLite was still very sorry that they could not fix it, so they sent me off with some wiper blades and glass cleaner free of charge.

My girlfriend had a badly cracked window that she called Safelite Reno to come repair. After a no-call no-show for the first scheduled appointment, we rescheduled, and they offered to replace her windshield wipers as compensation for the screw up. We declined this offer, as I had just bought her new Bosch Icon wipers, top of the line and rather expensive. About a week later, the repair gets done. Fast forward a few months, through the summer and into this winter, which has been very dry in Tahoe up to this time(January/February). My girlfriend finally needs to use her wipers and they catch up on each other, mangling the blades, rendering them useless, and causing the metal framing within to scratch up her windshield. When I took a look, sure enough, they were Safelite brand... and they were the wrong size for the car. Even after declining the offer, they went ahead and incorrectly replaced the wipers and didnt inform us. And took the other perfectly good, just about brand-new wipers with them. We called and after explaining the situation, they told us that they have a six month warranty on their wipers, so now that it was past that six months they couldnt help us. So, on their incompetence to do their job, I had to go spend another $58 on new windshield wipers. Thanks so much Safelite, youre garbage.

Fantastic customer service. They were able to get us in for a windshield replacement the next day over the Thanksgiving break. The staff were friendly and the whole process took under an hour.
Waited three weeks had appt. Rec. A call the morning they were to be here they cancelled because they said glass wasnt on truck. Really three weeks no glass. Went to another dealer got in in two days.

They gave me a quote, they gave me an appointment, I waited a week, then they told me an hour before my appointment that they arent willing to go to my address. Very deceiving and unprofessional. Dont waste a week of your time like me. Find someone else.Update: Fast Glass in Fallon put a windshield in my vehicle with no problem. I was willing to pay the extra $230 for Safelite to come and do it, but the installer didnt want to come to me. Still disappointed with Safelite.

My first experience was good: they did a great job replacing my windshield and didnt overcharge. However, last week I went in with a friend who needed a windshield chip repaired, and they quoted almost $125 to do it. Hed had his windshield replaced less than a year earlier by Safelite for $150. The salesman cited supply and demand for the exorbitant price of the repair and told us we could shop around, but no one would do it any cheaper. We called Fast Glass in Sparks -- they did the job for $40.
I have had work done at this location 3 times over 4 or 5 years. I am always impressed with their professionalism and quality of work. Its definitely best to make an appointment as they stay plenty busy. They have a mobile service as well that is great if you cant get time off work, they come to you!
Replaced my rear window very quickly. Its as good as new. The only reason i did not rate this location five stars was because they unfortunately left pieces of glass practically every where. I understand you cannot get every piece, but at least vacuum under the seats and attempt to vacuum the trunk. Other than that simple notice, I was well beyond satisfied with their service and the results. I would still recommend this location even with the glass pieces. My window is properly replaced thats what counts. Note: they dont tint windows, but do have recommended places to take the glass to get it re-tinted, just ask.

He goes above and beyond the call of duty also to include washing all of my windows and vacuuming my floors in the vehicle! Oh and the small crack in my windshield was pretty much nonexistent when he finished.

I stopped to talk with a Safelite employee who was installing a window in the same model car that I own in the parking lot where I work. I had a few questions about a leak from my windshield. He was so upbeat and professional that I was making an appointment later that afternoon to have my windshield replaced. I was kept informed about arrival times, he was there exactly when he said he would be. The work was great, my car looks great and it was an awesome experience. As easy as 1,2,3 !!! Thanks Safelite !

Stay away from this company. Installed my window and all I could hear was an air leak whistle. They came warranty it litterly did nothing the first time technician placed tape on the corner of the window like what was that going to do. Then he lied to me saying he had no replacement window with him which he did after I spoke to the manager he just didnt feel like doing the work being his second job for the day in kings beach.Took 2 weeks for them to come back again, they sent me a contract to replace with a new window. Find out after all they did was replace a 10 dollar seal instead and its still making the noise. Ontop of that I paid over $350 they are price gouging with horrible service. Got new quotes in Reno from $150 to $200 screw safelite waited weeks for them to fix their mistake instead they avoided placing in a new windshield to save their self money and screw me over. Use anyone but this company litterly double the price. I would give you 0 stars if I could.

The windshield is a PPG Sound Master from Meadville PPG, PA. This windshield was sourced by Safelite, Santa Clara, CA. You cannot find such a thing anymore!!We are retired from San Jose, CA. The Santa Clara manager went above and beyond to find this windshield many years ago!Folks, Safelite like may other firms use CALL CENTERS!! Im not all fond, BUT, if you use them correctly, you will NOT have trouble!The repair Gabe made is virtually invisible!!My lifetime experience with Safelite (when needed) has been extraordinary!!. With a National Warranty such as theirs, you will not go wrong!! Two weeks ago my husband paid to have the windshield replaced. After one week a huge crack appeared. Contacted the company to schedule a replacement and/or fix had to wait another week. They are claiming its not their fault and want another $350+ to replace. Horrible. They need to fix this. Cracking within the first week of getting a brand new windshield is unacceptable.
With 18 hours notice they were able to install a windshield on my Volvo semi. The Volvo dealer cant even get my parts that quickly! They were right on time with my appointment, and we were out of there in less than an hour. Very impressed with technician Richards work and with the fact that he talked to ME (truck owner), not my husband (a guy).
Im an ASE certified tech and they did wonderful work on of my moldings was a bit off I fixed it but all in all fantastic work they did my front and rear glass in 2 hours and they took my insurance with zero deductable.
I have to say thank you to Ricky. He was extremely nice and took very good care of my car. My rear window was replaced, my whole car was vacuumed clean, and all my windows were washed. I have never had to have a window replaced before, but i can say these guys did an excellent job and i would recommend them.

We had an appointment with Safelite on the first of March.... Apparently the guy called in sick. So they rescheduled for today (March 4th) between 1-5 but the Jacob the technician called and was going to be there at 1245 so we had to rush home. As the Jacob was unloading the glass he noticed it was broken. He said he was calling to get another piece of glass to the house to get the repair done today since our appointment already had to be rescheduled. The whole time I talked to him he seemed nervous and weird. I realized why he was nervous because after about 15 minutes he came back to the door and told us that we had to reschedule 2 weeks later saying that they couldnt get the windshield today. We called the customer service line to find out that he had reported that a guy with brown hair (me) didnt have time to wait to wait for the new windshield. This was never the case. I would have gladly waited since I already took the day off and wanted the windshield fixed before I took my vehicle on a road trip. So Jacob the service guy lied and put it on my end and left because he did not want to wait. The manager was nice but didnt seem like Jacob would have any repercussions for being lazy and lying to customers. They offered new windshield wiper blades for wasting my two days but were still going to have to come out a third time. Im not sure off brand windshield wipers make up for three days wasted sitting at home waiting for the repair and horrible service to top it off. At this point I will be finding a new company to replace my windshield.

They may do good work on other cars but apparently a Ford Escape is the exception for them. I had the back glass and windshield replaced by them. The back glass mysteriously imploded 6 months later. When the installer came back he declared that the initial installation was botched, not knowing that it was his own company that installed it. Of course they stood by it, right?........ Nope...... The windshield also needed to be replaced right after that. The quality of the glass must be incredible, right? ..... Nope. It cracked for no reason (no type of chip or anything else). Of course they stood by that, right?..... Yeah no. So, if you have one of those rare Ford Escapes, I would go ahead and not go to satellite.

Had to wait for over a week for an appointment between 8 and 12, to get told no. A chip with a spot of rust. Windshield was replaced before with no issues from another company. Guess if I paid out of pocket instead of insurance it wouldnt be a issue. This company is horrible. Dont know why people even bother with these company. Dont tell me about your policy and rules. Been doing this for along time. Truck been painted and rust fixed a year ago.Opion inspection, NO RUST! you all didnt even try and wasted my time! New windshield installed from another company that cares.
Made an appointment, techs showed up late and said it was raining near me. I said I would make room in the garage, and they said that wont work, we dont have time to sit around. I said it would be 10 minutes, then they said their machines wouldnt fit. They clearly didnt want to do the work because it was after 4pm when they showed up and they wanted to go home. I even asked if we could take the care to their shop, and they said, no, the shop closes at 5, so we dont have time. I will be call someone else to do the job.
